Chapter 8: Grand Quest Part 1
Flashback
"Boring school… Boring classes… And the teachers expect me to come every day for this?" Izayoi asked with a bored sigh, walking out from the school after the school bell rang, indicating that school is over for the day.
"What am I going to do now?" Izayoi asked as he cross the road, after looking left and right for any signs of cars that might cross it.
Just as he was about to left the school by following the path to the store to get something for his mother, a voice caught his attention.
"Izayoi-kun!" A voice called as Izayoi stopped his walking.
"Hm?" Izayoi turn his head around to see a smiling Asuna, making a smile appear on his face from her appearance.
After a month that they've met, Izayoi and Asuna were best of friends and people soon gossip about them being boyfriend and girlfriend, seeing as they usually walked side by side inside the school hallways. The two were in the same classroom for smart students, as the class they intend to is the first class in their year. Even in class, Asuna sat next to Izayoi, who was always staring boringly at the teacher who lectured about the topic of the subject today to the whole class.
The two were inseparable in the whole month, even if they told them that they weren't a couple. But the students weren't convinced as they saw Asuna blushed from a grinning Izayoi.
But the male students who were hypnotic by Asuna's beauty were heartbroken, as they completely knew that if they approached Asuna, Izayoi would look at them, and they would run for their lives, knowing that Izayoi was the school sport star. They also know that Izayoi could punch and break someone's bones, after witnessing that a guy was trying to touch Asuna in the wrong way outside of school without Izayoi beside her. When he was close to touch her, Izayoi suddenly appear in front of the scared Asuna, and grabbed the hand that was intend to touch Asuna.
Izayoi look at the scared guy, and the guy was greeted by a frown from Izayoi. Suddenly, the guy was insulted by a punch to the stomach by Izayoi. The guy who Izayoi punched was unconscious, and the teachers had to call the ambulance to take the knock out guy. The paramedics said that the guy had broken some of his bones, which surprises the teachers and the student who were listening behind the teachers.
The teachers didn't give Izayoi a detention, after listening to witnesses that said that the guy was trying to molest Asuna.
Meanwhile, Asuna hugged Izayoi tightly, relieved that he had saved her. Izayoi smiled endearingly, while hugging her and gently stroking her back with his hand.
The students were touched by the scene, with some were crying over the caring scene that was displayed in front of them. Some were trying not to let the tears out from their eyes, but they couldn't as a few tears came out of their eyes.
The teachers also were crying over the two, and they were surprised to see a caring smile on Izayoi's face, as he comforted Asuna, who was slightly crying. They were surprised and from that view, they could see that Izayoi really cared for Asuna. After that incident, the male students respected him and some of the fan boys that loved Asuna, decided that they would not bother Asuna anymore and they would be friends with her, to which Asuna respond with a small smile directed at Izayoi, who nodded with a smile.
And in that one month, the whole school had known about Izayoi and Asuna. The students called them Izasuna as the shipping name for the two, which made Asuna blushed and a smirking Izayoi, who liked the name given by the students for him and Asuna's relationship. Despite that Asuna denied the name, she would always blush after the students called their shipping name whenever they would walk along the school hallways.
But the students always do it after watching the two were in a good mood to tease, mostly Asuna. But after a warning from Izayoi, to not do it anymore, after knowing Asuna would hate to be tease a lot, they understood and they had stopped calling them that after a week.
Asuna was relieved at the week that wasn't a teasing week, and she knew that Izayoi had warned them, to which she was grateful for that and blush at Izayoi's apparent concern for her. She knew that Izayoi had always concern and care for her, but he did it on his own way.
In that month again, the two became the hot topic of all the students, as they wished silently that two of them would date each other...
"Where are going, Izayoi-kun?" Asuna asked with a curious face. Ever since they've met, Asuna had a small crush on him to which only grew every single day that she walked next to him along the school hallways while they talked. She knew that Izayoi could be funny, protective, arrogant, sometimes rude to others, kind, perverted, but he was mostly a bestfriend she never had. He was like everything to her, and he would always teach her in the school library for the upcoming exam that was held last week. After the exam, she got an A for the test and she hugged Izayoi in happiness, which Izayoi hugged back and showed her an A also in his paper.
And every day, she would always hope that Izayoi felt the same way as she felt about him.
"To the store. But, don't you have to go home?" Izayoi asked as Asuna glanced sideways.
"I was planning to hang out with you after school, so I called my father to tell him that I was busy and I would come home late." Asuna said as Izayoi look at her with a smirk.
"So, lying to your father? That's not a very good way of a lady." Izayoi stated as Asuna lightly glare at him.
"It's not lying. I was planning to hang out with you, and I might be late coming home after that. But are you mad, Izayoi-kun? I mean, I can go home if you like." Asuna said with a sad frown, as Izayoi smiled at her in response.
"Who wouldn't like to hang out with you, Asuna?" Izayoi said as Asuna held a surprise and happy face.
"Really?" She asked.
"Yeah, really. So, put that frown away, okay. You look beautiful without it." Izayoi stated with a smile, as Asuna blushes from his comment.
"Anyway, since I'm going to the store. And you decided to hang out with me. Why don't we go to the store together?" Izayoi asked as Asuna happily nodded, which made Izayoi smiled.
"Let's go." Izayoi said as the two started walking towards the convenient store that was slightly near the school.
After arriving to the store, Izayoi and Asuna entered the building and pulled a trolley from the row of trolleys that was stationed beside a counter nearby.
"What do you want, Izayoi-kun?" Asuna asked looking through the rows of food beside her and Izayoi.
"We might need a chicken. My mother said that I should roast a chicken tonight. So, I decided on cooking it, since it's been a long time that we ate a chicken for dinner." Izayoi stated as Asuna nodded, but then she look at Izayoi with a surprise look.
"You can cook, Izayoi-kun?" Asuna asked as Izayoi raised an eyebrow at her.
"Why do you ask?" He asked.
"I mean, boys normally don't cook. My elder brother can cook, but he wasn't well in doing so. My father can cook, and he sometimes cooks for my family. But sadly, he's only daughter can't cook." Asuna said with a small frown, as Izayoi put a hand on her shoulder, which prompted her to look at him.
"If you can't cook, then I might as well teach you. And we'll start today's lesson by roasting a chicken." Izayoi said with a smirk as Asuna held a surprise look.
"Really? But I'm afraid that I might mess up while we're roasting the chicken." Asuna said as Izayoi put his hand on top of Asuna's, which surprises her.
"Don't worry, I'll be there to help you, alright?" Izayoi asked with a smile, as Asuna look at him and smiles.
"Alright, Izayoi-kun!" She said as Izayoi nodded and the two continued to buy the things for roasting a chicken. Along the way, Izayoi taught Asuna the ingredients for roasting the chicken, and he was impressed that Asuna was a fast-learner on understanding for roasting a chicken. Normally, people would have a hard time to remember how to roast a chicken, and they didn't know on how much she or he had to put the ingredients to roast the said chicken. But Asuna could remember it because he was explaining to her, and she would always nodded in understanding after he finishes his explaining.
After leaving the store and buying the necessary things to roast a chicken, they head to Izayoi's home. Arriving to Izayoi's home, he pushed open the house gate to let Asuna in. Asuna look up at the house, awed by how large and fancy it is. This is the first time she look upon Izayoi's house and the first time she visited, which was now.
"Asuna." Izayoi called out as Asuna shook her head from her thoughts as she look at him.
"Yes?" She asked.
"Ladies first." Izayoi said with a smirk, motioning his hand towards the house door besides using the sliding door, that was in front of the garden. The house door was placed to face the shoe rack in front of it, allowing Asuna to place her shoes on it.
"Such a gentlemen." Asuna commented with a smile looking at Izayoi, as she stride inside his house followed by Izayoi, who closed the door after they had come in.
"Izayoi?" A voice called as Asuna look towards her right, seeing a blonde haired woman who had an apron wrapped around her waist.
"Izayoi… Is this your girlfriend? How nice to meet you, Asuna. My name is Sakamaki Canaria." She introduced herself as Asuna blushed by Canaria, saying that she was Izayoi's girlfriend, which she silently hoped that she would be. But then, she raised an eyebrow on how she had known her name already when she clearly knew that they haven't met before.
"You must be wondering why I knew your name, right? Well, Izayoi here had sometimes talked about you." Canaria said as Asuna look at the calm Izayoi, who was standing next to her.
"Yeah. He said you were the most beautiful among all the girls in his school." Canaria commented as Asuna blushed while Izayoi smirked.
"Really?" Asuna asked looking at Izayoi.
"Yeah. Is there a problem for saying you were beautiful?" Izayoi said smirking at her, which made her blush furiously.
"No…" Asuna said looking down to hide her blush.
"No flirting, Izayoi." Canaria said as Izayoi turn his head to look at her.
"Okay. I was just having fun." Izayoi exclaimed with a shrug of his shoulder while keeping a smile on his face.
"Anyway, do you bring the chicken I ask for? I have done the vegetables already. So you should know how to do the rest." Canaria stated as Izayoi nodded holding up a bag, that contains the chicken.
"Kaa-san, Asuna here doesn't know how to cook. So, I'll be teaching her how to cook inside the kitchen. We'll be preparing the chicken together." Izayoi stated as Asuna look shyly at Canaria, who held a smile on her face.
"Oh, really? Then, you should take the aprons before you cook then. We don't want your uniform to get stained, right?" Canaria asked as Asuna raised an eyebrow.
"Don't worry. I taught Izayoi here everything I know about cooking. So, you should have yourself a master chef with you at all times when you're inside the kitchen. I don't mind that you don't cook, but I'm happy that Izayoi would teach you how to cook. He's really unpredictable sometimes when he's cooking. He can be a good husband to marry unlike the rest of the boys who doesn't even know a thing about cooking." Canaria said with a smile, trying to hook his son with Asuna. Meanwhile, Asuna blushed while glancing at the laughing Izayoi.
"You really are something, Kaa-san. But I can choose which one I want to marry." Izayoi said with a smirk, as Canaria stood in front of him and leaned her head towards Izayoi's neck, which was closed to his ear.
"You should know that you have to do it quickly. Or there will be some suitors that will choose her." Canaria whispered to him as Izayoi nodded.
"I know. And that's why I'm not going to separate with her no matter what. Because I already found her to be my fun in life." Izayoi whispered back as he look at Asuna and smile at her, which caused her to slightly blush from his smile.
"That's good." Canaria said with a smile, knowing that Izayoi like Asuna already, given that it was only one month since they've met.
"Maybe love at first sight…" Canaria said looking at the two soon to-be couple. Canaria then clapped her hands, getting Asuna and Izayoi's attention.
"Well, then. Asuna, let's go get you ready to cook." Canaria said as she grabbed a hold of Asuna's hand and dragged her to the kitchen, leaving Izayoi to stand inside the living room.
"Husband, huh? You really are something, Kaa-san…" Izayoi said while he shook his head in amusement, before he joins the two girls inside the kitchen.
Present
"Mama..." Yui said as Izayoi's eyes widen, while Leafa looked surprise.
"Mama is... here." Yui stated as Izayoi look at her.
"Yui, are you sure?" Izayoi asked.
"Um—" Leafa was cut off by Yui.
"I'm certain. This player ID belongs to Mama. The coordinates are right above us!" Yui pointed her finger up at the sky.
"Asuna!" Izayoi said in mind looking up, as he grit his teeth and suddenly his wings appear on his back.
Izayoi then crouched down a little, "Izayoi-kun." Leafa was cut off as Izayoi blasted off rapidly towards the sky.
"Hold it! Izayoi-kun!" Leafa yelled as Izayoi continued to head upwards towards the World Tree.
"Izayoi-kun!"
Leafa shook out of her thoughts, as her wings appear and she flew upwards to follow Izayoi, who was ahead of her.
"Izayoi-kun, what's going on? The person at the top of the World Tree is that important to you?" Leafa thought gripping her sword tightly, knowing that Izayoi has someone he loves other than her.
"Be careful, Izayoi-kun! You're about to hit the barrier!" Leafa shouted looking up at him.
"I'm not going to let some barrier..." Izayoi said pulling back his fist as he swung it at the barrier above him.
"Get in the way of me from seeing her!" Izayoi shouted as the barrier that was supposed to block the fairies from going any further up at the World Tree, was shattered by a punch from Izayoi, shocking Leafa, who was looking at it with wide eyes.
"He broke the barrier? But that is impossible! Does he some sort of system that allows him to break barriers like this?" Leafa thought with a shock look, looking at Izayoi.
"Yui, hang on." Izayoi said as Yui nodded, hiding inside his pocket while gripping at the edge of the pocket tightly. Izayoi look up at the World Tree, "I'm not going to stop now!" Izayoi thought as he flew upwards passing the broken barrier, while leaving a furious burst of wind behind him.
"Izayoi-kun!" Leafa shouted as she follows him, but she was blocked by a barrier, which confuses her. She look up at Izayoi, who was still flying upwards towards the World Tree.
"Izayoi-kun…" She said sadly.
"Yui, can you tell me where Mama is?" Izayoi asked as he narrows his eyes at the approaching Top of the World Tree.
"She's over there!" Yui pointed out at the shiny glint of light, which was a golden bird cage above them.
"Asuna!" Izayoi thought as he clenches his fist and flew up at the bird cage, leaving another burst of wind behind him.
"Mama!" Yui yelled out.
The Top of the World Tree
Asuna was sitting in her chair until she received a warning notice, "Mama…" A voice called out as Asuna turn her head to look for the voice.
"Mama." The voice called out as Asuna look behind her.
"Yui-chan?" Asuna asked standing up from her seat.
"Is that you?" She asked running towards the end of the bird cage.
"Mama! Mama! I'm right here." Yui called out as Asuna grab the poles of the bird cage and look down.
"I'm… right here! I'm right here, Yui-chan!" Asuna yelled as she look down, while tears cascaded over her eyes.
"Izayoi-kun!" Asuna said sadly.
"Asuna…" A voice called out as Asuna's eyes widen, recognizing the voice.
"Izayoi-kun?" She asked looking around.
"I'm here." The voice called as Asuna look at where she heard Yui's voice, and when she look, her eyes widen.
"Mama!" Yui yelled as she flew straight towards her, passing the bars of the bird cage, as she transformed into her human form and hugged Asuna, who was eyed wide.
"Yui-chan?" Asuna asked if this was really true.
"Hai, Mama. It's me." Yui said as hugging her mama tightly, while tears formed in Asuna's eyes.
"Yui-chan!" Asuna said as she hug Yui back tightly.
"Mama. I miss you!" Yui said crying while Asuna held her in her arms, recalling every memory she spent with her in SAO. When she disappeared in light, she instantly grieves for her, wanting her to stay with Izayoi and her. But at last, she couldn't get that wish after SAO was destroyed by Izayoi defeating Kayaba.
And after waiting for so long, she suddenly had her daughter back with her, which made her happy that she had been reunited with her daughter at long last. And now, she finally get her wish by hugging Yui tightly in her arms, crying tears of joy of seeing her daughter again.
"Do you forget someone?" Izayoi asked standing behind the bars of the bird cage, raising an eyebrow while wearing an amused smile. He wasn't wearing his scarf as he un-quipped it and put in in his item storage. Meanwhile, Asuna and Yui look at him, and laugh for their forgetfulness of not hugging with Izayoi.
"Sorry, Papa!" Yui laughs.
"Sorry, Izayoi-kun. But I finally got Yui-chan back. And I've never been so happy to see her again." Asuna said with a smile.
"I know. Anyway, can't I get a hug? I'm not leaving you two in here to hug." Izayoi said as he grabbed a hold of the bars and pulled them apart, bending them to the side, as he walked inside the cage.
Izayoi walked towards Asuna and Yui, as he wrapped his arms around them, to which the two girls hug him back.
After a while, Izayoi pulled back on the hug, as he looked at Asuna, who wore a revealing white dress.
"What are you looking at, Izayoi-kun?" Asuna asked as she looked to the direction of where his eyes landed. And when she saw that he look at her revealing dress, she quickly cover her chest, while blushing madly from embarrassment.
"Izayoi-kun, don't look!" Asuna said glaring at him lightly, as Izayoi chuckles.
"Sorry. But I can't ignore the fact that you look beautiful even in a revealing dress." Izayoi stated looking at her with an amused smile as Asuna blushed from his words.
"Hai, Mama looks pretty!" Yui said as Asuna smiled at her.
"Thank you, Yui-chan." Asuna said which made Yui smile at her for her compliment.
"Anyway, Mama. Let's get out of here!" Yui said grabbing her hand and dragging her to the bent bars, that displayed an opening to the skies.
"Yui-chan…" Asuna said with a frown looking down at Yui.
"What is it, Mama?" She asked looking up at her with big curious eyes.
"I can't, Yui-chan." Asuna said glancing at the frowning Izayoi.
"W-Why, Mama?" Yui asked with a sad frown, not understanding why she can't escape with her.
"Listen here, Yui-chan. Mama and Papa had been discussing about something, and we found out that I can't log out from here without using this card." Asuna said pulling out the card that she stole.
"I used this card a while ago. And that made me log out, and I was instantly in the other world. I met your Papa in the hospital in the other world." Asuna explained as Yui look at Izayoi.
"Really, Papa? Mama logged out from here?" Yui asked as Izayoi smiled and nodded.
"So, how are we going to get Mama out of here, Papa?" Yui asked looking up at him, to which he replies with a smile on his face.
"That's easy. Beat Sugou. He's the Game Master in this game." Izayoi said with a grin as Asuna stifle a laugh at his easy answer.
"Because Papa loves your Mama, and he will never let some guy lay a finger on her." Izayoi said wrapping an arm around Asuna, who blushed at his words.
"If Papa rescues Mama, then I'm going to rescue Mama too!" Yui stated as Izayoi and Asuna laugh, to which Yui joins in.
"Okay, Yui-chan. You can rescue Mama, with Papa." Izayoi said as Yui nodded.
"Then, I'll wait here for you, Yui-chan." Asuna said with a smile as Yui smiled at her, but a frown appear on her face, which was noticed by both Izayoi and Asuna.
"What's wrong, Yui-chan?" Asuna asked crouching down in front of Yui, as she grasped her cheeks, which caused Yui to look up at her with teary eyes.
"But I don't want to leave Mama yet…" Yui stated sadly as Asuna hug her while tears were registered in her eyes.
"Mama doesn't want you to leave yet too. But Yui-chan, I do not want people to suffer because of Sugou's plan. So, Mama and Papa had discussed about it on the other world. I know that it's hard to let me go, but know this. Mama will always love you, alright? No matter what happens, Mama will always love you." Asuna said hugging the crying Yui, while patting her back with a comforting hand.
"Yui…" Izayoi thought with a sad smile, seeing Asuna comforting the crying Yui. He knew that it was hard to let Asuna return to the game in the hospital before, but he knew that there were people that will suffer heavy consequences if he didn't let Asuna go in the game. But it was sad for him to watch Yui leave her mother because of that reason.
"I'll save you, Asuna. No matter what." Izayoi thought determinedly, while he clenched his fist.
"Mama…" Yui mutters sadly, as Asuna rubs her back in a circle with her hand.
"It's okay, Yui-chan. I'm not going anywhere. Remember that you and Papa will rescue me, right?" Asuna asked as Yui nodded in her shoulder.
"Yeah…" Yui mutters.
"So, I'll stay here until you come and rescue me, alright?" Asuna asked as Yui pulled back on the hug, rubbing her teary eyes while seeing Asuna's eyes, which had tears streaming down her cheeks but she still had a smile on her face.
"Don't cry, Mama." Yui said as Asuna rubs her eyes from the tears.
"I'm sorry, Yui-chan. Mama is sad that you have to leave after this, and Mama can't come with you." Asuna exclaimed with a smile with closed eyes.
Yui-chan." Izayoi called out as Yui look up at Izayoi.
"It's time to leave." Izayoi said sadly, knowing that it saddens the young girl, but he knows that if they stay too long they'll be found out.
"But…" Yui tried to protest, but she was interrupted by Asuna.
"It's okay, Yui-chan. I don't want to get you in trouble. I will blame myself if anything happens to you for my cause." Asuna said as Yui stood up.
"Yui-chan, I want to talk to your Papa. Can you wait?" Asuna asked pointing her finger to the chair beside her, as Yui nodded and heads towards the chair to sit on it. Asuna stood up and walked over to Izayoi, who smiles at her.
"I'm sorry that I took too long." Asuna said as Izayoi shook his head.
"No, it's okay. It's the first time Yui gets to see you after SAO. I don't blame her for taking all the time with you. I don't want to be a bad father." Izayoi stated as Asuna grasp his cheek with both of her hands.
"You are not a bad father. You took care of Yui-chan for me when I'm not there. All in all, you're a great father, Izayoi-kun." Asuna exclaimed with a smile, as the two then shared a kiss together. After a while, they pulled back and stared at each other with a smile.
"I'll save you. So, wait for me, okay?" Izayoi said putting his forehead to lay against Asuna's.
"Okay, Izayoi-kun." Asuna whispered enjoying the moment between her and Izayoi. Ever since she came to Alfheim Online, she only thought about Izayoi and hope that one day he'll come to save her. Before SAO was destroyed, she was certain she would wake up in a hospital and she would see Izayoi's smiling face above hers. But unfortunately, she woke up in this bird cage, feeling trapped without a single ounce of freedom. She could only see a few birds flying across her bird cage, flying freely without a care in the world, while she was stuck in a bird cage, her freedom taken away from her by Sugou.
So, after meeting Yui and Izayoi, she doesn't care any of that as she got her family back. She was blessed to have the two of them back, even if she can't go with them which she wanted too but she couldn't risk the lives of the experimented people that Sugou was experimenting on. It was hard to leave Izayoi alone in the hospital already, but to leave Yui? She was regretting on her choice that she wanted to follow Yui and Izayoi to escape. But she had to be stubborn on saving the experimented people… But again, she feels sympathetic to just leave them and be used by Sugou for money. With that thought, she was determined to release the three hundred people from this game.
"Papa, Mama…" Yui said as Asuna and Izayoi look to her direction, seeing as Yui was spreading her arms out at them, which made both of them smile.
"Alright, Yui-chan." Asuna said as she and Izayoi walked towards Yui and enveloped her in a hug, to which Yui hug back with tears over her eyes.
"Just a little longer…" Asuna thought with tears streaming down over her cheeks, while Izayoi wore a sad smile, knowing that this will be the last hug before he and Yui have to go.
After a while, Izayoi pulled back from the hug and he saw that Yui was still hugging the crying Asuna. He wanted to do something to make all of this go away, but sadly he couldn't.
"For money? He will pay..." Izayoi thought with gritting teeth while he clenches his fist, hating that Sugou had trap Asuna and three hundred people to be used for the purpose of money.
"Yui, I think it's time you should go." Asuna said as Yui look up at her mother.
"B-But…" Yui tried to protest but she was surprise as a pair of lips kissed her forehead.
"Promise that you'll keep your Papa safe, okay? I don't want him to be reckless when you and Papa wanted to save me." Asuna asked looking down at Yui with a smile, after pulling back her lips from Yui's forehead.
"Hai, Mama!" Yui said as Asuna held her pinky finger in front of Yui.
"Pinky promise?" Asuna asked as Yui look at her mother little finger.
"Pinky promise!" Yui stated smiling as she entwined her pinky finger with Asuna.
"Good. Now, you should go. I don't want the two of you to get caught with me." Asuna exclaimed as Yui nodded and walked towards Izayoi, who held a small smile on his face.
"Izayoi-kun." Asuna called out as Izayoi look up at Asuna who walked towards him.
"Promise that you'll be safe for me?" Asuna asked as Izayoi smiled for her.
"I won't make any promises. Besides, this game isn't like SAO. The only thing that I'm worried about is you." Izayoi said as Asuna smiled liking Izayoi's concern for her even at a time like this.
"Anyway, you should go." Asuna said as Izayoi grabbed a hold of her arm, as Asuna look up at him.
"One more kiss before I go?" Izayoi asked as Asuna smiled and wrapped her hands around Izayoi's neck.
"One more." Asuna stated as she leaned in her lips on Izayoi's, to which Izayoi wrapped his arms around Asuna's waist as the two kiss in bliss, both loving the time right now even if it's a short time before one of them leave.
After a minute, both of them pull back and Izayoi open his menu, which caused Asuna to stare on what his doing.
"Here." Izayoi stated handing her a rapier that he found in his menu. He was confused as why the rapier stayed inside the menu while all of his swords had to be deleted.
"Izayoi, this is…" Asuna said as she accepted the rapier by clicking the 'Yes' button on her menu.
"Lambent Light. It's yours, after all." Izayoi said as Asuna's rapier appeared in her hand, while she stare at it in surprise.
"But how?" She asked looking down at her weapon that she used in SAO.
"Maybe it found its way towards my menu when we're married in SAO. We can share our menu, right? So, it's the only solution that I can think of." Izayoi exclaimed as Asuna tried a few thrust with her old rapier, reminiscing her time using it in SAO.
"Thank you, Izayoi-kun." Asuna said as she un-quipped her rapier, making it disappear inside her item storage.
"No problem. As I said, it's yours after all." Izayoi said with a smile as Asuna grabbed his arm and lead him towards the bent bars with Yui waiting for them beside it.
"Be safe you too, alright?" Asuna asked letting go of Izayoi's hand, as he and Yui stood in front of her.
"Hai, Mama! I'll keep Papa safe!" Yui said looking up at her with a smile.
"That's good, Yui-chan." Asuna stated with a smile of her own as she then look at Izayoi.
"Wait for me, okay?" Izayoi asked as Asuna nodded. But before Izayoi left the birdcage, Asuna stopped him by grabbing a hold of his hand, which prompted Izayoi to look at her.
"This might help you." Asuna stated handing him the card that she showed him earlier, as Izayoi nodded and put the card inside his other pocket since Yui will be staying in his top pocket of his jacket.
"Yui, let's go." Izayoi exclaimed as Yui turned to her fairy form and flew up towards his pocket and staying inside it like she always does.
"Bye, Mama." Yui said waving her small hand.
"Bye, Yui-chan." Asuna exclaimed while waving her hand at her.
Izayoi smiled at Asuna, as he then walked through the bent bars and grabbed the said bars, bending it into the way it was before.
"I love you." Asuna said towards Izayoi, who held a smile.
"I love you too." Izayoi said as he turns around and fall down from the edge of the bird cage, leaving behind a smiling Asuna, who watched them fall through the sky.
"Yui-chan, Izayoi-kun, please be safe…" Asuna mutters hoping that they will be safe.
"Hang on, Yui!" Izayoi said as he narrowed his eyes at the sky below him, while Yui desperately holding his pocket tightly, not wanting to fall out of it.
"Let's get you out of here, Asuna!"

That's a nice cliffhanger and a sad scene for Izayoi and Yui. I mean I almost cried while writing it. It's true. And I hope you all feel the same way that i do.
