Chapter 13: The Shinigami
"Papa, that! I want that!" Yui said pointing her finger at the glass wall that displayed several Amusphere on pedestals.
"You want one?" Izayoi asked looking at Yui, whose eyes were wide in awe of the displayed Amusphere.
Yui nodded, "Yes, I want one." Yui answered as she pulled Izayoi's hand, bringing his whole body towards the game store.
"Okay, we'll go buy it." Izayoi said with a smile as Yui look at him with a wide smile.
"Yay! Let's go!" Yui exclaimed in excitement as she and Izayoi step inside the game store.
Flashback
"...Yui?" Izayoi said as he look at the similar resemblance between his daughter and the black haired girl. The girl in question tilted her head to the right, wearing a curious look on her face.
"What are you doing here?" A voice called as Izayoi look beside the girl, seeing a woman in her late twenties grab the hand of the little girl and look at her with a frown. "Why did you walk off like that? Come on, we have to get back to the other children." She said with a small smile as she lead the little girl, unaware of Izayoi's presence.
"Other children?" Izayoi thought as he followed the woman and the little to a medium sized home. He look at the sign that says, "Orphan Centre". He looked though the small gaps of the gate, seeing a bunch of kids playing in the playground while having smiles on each of their faces.
"I never noticed this before." Izayoi said recalling that he had never seen an orphan centre near his neighbourhood.
"Um... Hello? Can I help you with something?" The brown haired woman from before said as Izayoi look up at her.
"Do you built this Orphan Centre recently?" Izayoi asked as the woman smiled and nodded.
"Yes! It was built three months before. We moved these kids from a few foster homes because of the quantity of the orphan kids in there." She explained. "But Iately, I heard from our of my friends in the foster home that the kids were getting adopted one by one. She said it was all because of a certain person that she was thankful of. Unfortunately, I didn't quite remember his name. I think it was Sakamaki..." The woman was cut off by Izayoi.
"Sakamaki Izayoi." Izayoi said as the woman look at him in surprise.
"How did you know?" She asked as Izayoi look to one of the kids playing in the playground before he look at the woman once again.
"The name's Sakamaki Izayoi." Izayoi introduced himself as the woman gawk in surprise at him.
"Yo-You're-" The woman then immediately bowed her head down at him. "I-I'm sorry, Izayoi-sama! I didn't recognize you at first. I rarely watched the sport's channel. Please, forgive me." The woman stated as Izayoi chuckle.
"Don't worry, I know you're taking care of these kids every day. It's not a problem." Izayoi said as the woman look up at him.
"It seems like you know everything, Izayoi-sama." The woman said with a smile, as Izayoi smile in return.
"Anyway, I came here and I found someone interesting over here. Do you think you can arrange an appointment with her?" Izayoi asked as the woman look at him in confusion.
"Who is she? If I may ask?" The woman asked. "Also, do you want to adopt that interesting girl?" The woman added.
"Yes."
After a while, the woman guide him to one of the rooms inside the house and she opens the door to the room, where Izayoi step inside and look around the room. The woman then bowed her head at him before she left, closing the door to give Izayoi some privacy with the girl.
Then, Izayoi spotted the same black haired girl reading a book on the bed. The black haired girl look up from her book to see Izayoi standing in front of her as she put the book down and look at him.
"Who are you?" The girl asked as Izayoi sit on the edge of the bed.
"My name is Sakamaki Izayoi. I arrange an appointment to meet you. What's your name?" Izayoi asked as the little girl looked down.
"My name... My name is... Yui." She said as she look up at Izayoi. "My name is Yui." The little girl said Izayoi's eyes widen, wondering if she coincidentally shared the same name as the virtual Yui.
Then, Izayoi pat her head as the little girl recalled his name and she look up at him, "Iyoi?" Yui said slightly pronounce his name wrong, as Izayoi smiled, recalling how Yui pronounced his name wrong in SAO.
"It's okay. Which ever is easier for you." Izayoi said with a smile as Yui look down for a moment and then she look up at Izayoi.
"Papa." Yui called out as Izayoi smiled.
"Do you know why I'm here, Yui?" Izayoi asked as Yui shakes her head. "I'm here to adopt you. Do you want to be my daughter?" Izayoi asked as Yui's eyes widen and then she smiled wide.
"Hai!"
Present
"Do you like it, Yui?" Izayoi asked looking down at Yui, who was looking at her Amusphere inside a small box.
"Yes, I like it. Thank you, Papa!" Yui said with a happy smile as Izayoi smiled at her.
"We should go before it gets dark." Izayoi said as Yui nodded and the both of them continued to head towards their home.
Izayoi's Home
"Is this Papa's house? It's so pretty!" Yui exclaimed with wide eyes, looking around at the spacious living room.
"It's ours now." Izayoi said as Yui look at him.
"Ours?" Yui exclaimed with confusion.
"Yeah, its our house now. You're my adorable daughter, so this house is yours too." Izayoi stated with a smile, bending down his knee and pat her head, which caused Yui to smile at him.
"Hey, how about we test your Amusphere?" Izayoi asked as Yui vigorously nodded.
"Yeah!" Yui shouted with a wide smile.
"Follow Papa. Or else, you'll get lost in the house." Izayoi teased as Yui raised an eyebrow at him.
"Lost? But you're here with me Papa." Yui said as Izayoi nodded.
"Smart remark, Yui." Izayoi said with a smirk as Yui smile at him. "Now we should go upstairs." Izayoi stated as he grab a hold of Yui's hand and guide her upstairs. When the two of them arrived upstairs, they walked towards Izayoi's room and walk past it, going to another room next to it.
Izayoi twist the door handle and open the door, looking at the room that hasn't been used before. The room has ordinary bed, desk, chair, wardrobe, and a computer.
"Yui." Izayoi called as he turn his head around behind him to look at Yui. But when he turns around, Yui wasn't standing behind him. "Yui?" Izayoi called as he step outside the room and walk through the hallway. Then, he stop in front of his room, as he turns to see Yui standing in front of his desk, while holding onto his NerveGear in her hands.
"Yui?" Izayoi called but Yui didn't give any response and merely stared at the NerveGear.
Then, Yui slowly lift the NerveGear and wore it over her head, to which Izayoi look at her, expecting something would happen.
Alfheim Online
"Yui-chan..." Asuna said as she caressed Yui in her arms. "It's going to be alright, Yui-chan. Papa will save us." Asuna stated with a smile as Yui look up at her and smile in return.
"Mama." Yui said as she cuddled closer to her mother.
Suddenly, the space around the cage begin distorting into a black space which caught both of them by surprise. "Yui-chan, what's going on?" Asuna asked with a shock look as the ground below them distorted, leaving them in a black space while they sit on a white circle that was the only thing bright in the dark space.
"Mama, be careful! Something..." Yui said as lightning sparked all around her body. "Something bad is..." She said before she disappeared into particles.
"Yui-chan!" Asuna shouted with wide eyes as she tried to reach out for the particles but the particles disappeared before she could reach one of them. "Yui-chan..." Asuna mutters in sadness recalling Yui disappeared before in Sword Art Online, which saddens her and Izayoi greatly.
"Izayoi-kun... Please be safe..." Asuna stated hoping that Izayoi was safe.
"What a surprise. A cockroach actually found its way into my bird's cage... And destroyed a little part of the system in my game." A voice said as Asuna's eyes widen at the voice, knowing who the owner of the voice is.
"Izayoi-kun..." Asuna said in thought, hoping he would save her now.
Meanwhile in the Real World...
"Yui?" Izayoi called out as he slowly approached Yui, who stood still with the NerveGear on her head.
Suddenly, small blue sparks came out of the NerveGear as Yui's eyes widen and she instantly fell to the ground, but before she could hit the ground, Izayoi caught her in his arms.
"What the..." Izayoi said as he clutch Yui in his arms. He then carried her and brought her onto his bed. "What happen?" Izayoi asked himself as he grabbed the NerveGear and pulled it off of Yui's head.
Izayoi look at the NerveGear as he clutch the device tightly, recalling that he had to save Asuna. But unfortunately, he can't leave Yui all alone when she is unconscious on his bed. Izayoi then decided to check up on Yui before he could enter Alfheim Online, because to him, he can't leave the similar appearance of Yui all alone while he goes to rescue Asuna. Also, it wasn't him to just leave the girl that he recently adopted, even if she was had the same personality, and appearance of his daughter, who was in Alfheim Online with her mother.
Izayoi set the NerveGear on his desk before he set his eyes on the unconscious Yui lying on his bed. He then sit on the edge of the bed and brought his hand to Yui's neck, trying to feel her pulse. When he felt her pulse, he pulled his hand back from her neck and settled to look at Yui with a relief look, relieved that Yui was still alive.
"Papa..." Yui mutters as Izayoi look at her, seeing that her eyes opens slightly and she was looking at him. "Mama... Is in danger... Asuna... Is in danger..." Yui muttered as Izayoi's eyes widen at her statement.
"How can she know...?" Izayoi asked himself, surprise that Yui could be able to know Asuna when she didn't even know her in person before. He didn't even show her a picture of her before in spite of their fun travel to the game store and the journey of walking back to the house after that.
"Something... Something bad is... Mama... needs help..." Yui mutters before she closed her eyes and fell unconscious again as Izayoi look at her and gently grasp her hand in his.
Izayoi then glanced at the NerveGear and he narrowed his eyes at the thought of seeing Asuna in danger. "Thanks, Yui. Papa's gonna save Mama now." Izayoi said with a smirk as he pick up Yui from the bed and carried her to the next room. When he entered the room, he gently lay her on the bed before he peck her forehead and left the room.
Izayoi entered his room and closed the door by twisting the doorknob. He then turns around and walked towards his desk that had his NerveGear sitting on it. He look down at the NerveGear for a while, before he grabbed it and wear it on his head. Izayoi then lay on his bed and breath a deep breath, "This is going to end once and for all." He said as his eyes open, "Link Start!" Izayoi said before he entered the world of Alfheim Online.
Alfheim Online
Izayoi appeared in a distorted black space as he looked around, and then his eyes spotted someone lying on the ground a few distance away from him.
"Asuna!" Izayoi shouted as he raced towards her.
"Izayoi-kun!" Asuna called out as she sees Izayoi running towards her. Izayoi then stopped in front of her as he kneel on the ground.
"Are you okay?" Izayoi asked in worry as he tried to reach for Asuna with his right hand. But before he could, his body was suddenly forced onto the ground below him. He tried to stand up but he was immediately forced back down on the ground again. "What the?!" Izayoi exclaimed kneeling on the ground while resisting the powerful gravity's force pressing down at him.
"It looks like the cockroach has finally arrived." A voice said as Izayoi look up and his eyes narrowed at the sight of a Slyph.
"Sugou..." Izayoi said venomously as Oberon waved his index finger back and forth.
"I'd rather you not address me in that fashion while we're here. Call me 'Your Majesty, Fairy King Oberon!'" Oberon said as he kicked Izayoi in the head, but Izayoi stayed his ground, not moving an inch from the kick.
"Izayoi-kun!" Asuna called out in worry, seeing Oberon kicked Izayoi in the head.
"Is that all you got? Hah! What a joke." Izayoi said with a smirk as Oberon grit his teeth in annoyance.
"Take this!" Oberon exclaimed as he kicked Izayoi multiple times in the head before he delivered the final kick at his back, causing Izayoi to be pushed back and lie on the ground with his chest facing the ground.
"Can't move, can you? This is the gravity magic that will be introduced with the next update. Maybe it's a little too strong." Oberon said as he pressed his feet on the right side of Izayoi's head.
"Stop it, you coward!" Asuna said as Oberon removed his feet from Izayoi's head.
"Still, Sakamaki-kun. Or should I call you 'Izayoi-kun'? How did you manage to get all the way up here? There was a strange program running just now." Oberon said as he picked up Izayoi's daito that lay beside him.
"What do you mean? And for your information, I flew up here with my own wings." Izayoi asked as his wings appeared on his back.
"No matter. I can just get the answer from inside your head." Oberon said as he twist the daito in a circle before he balanced the weapon with his index finger.
"What?" Izayoi asked.
"Do you really think I set all of this up on a whim?" Oberon asked as he let the daito fall but he grabbed it before it could fall. "I have around 300 former SAO players here. Thanks to their dedication and cooperation, my foundational research in manipulating thoughts and memories is about 80 percent complete. I will soon attain what nobody has before, the godlike power to directly control the human soul! And it's all thanks to this virtual world! Hahaha!" Oberon laughed maniacally.
"Hahahaha!" Oberon laughed again.
"Sick bastard." Izayoi exclaimed as he look up at him with narrowed eyes.
"You're never going to get away with this! Never!" Asuna exclaimed.
"Who's going to stop me? Unfortunately for you, there aren't any gods in this world. Apart from me, of course!" Oberon said as he pointed the daito at Asuna. Then, Oberon look upwards, "Now, let's have a little party before I start altering your souls!" Oberon said as he snap his finger, which caused two chains to be dropped down in front of the surprised Asuna. At the end of the chains were handcuffs.
Oberon stabbed the black daito in the ground as he knelt in front of Asuna and he put Asuna's hands in the handcuffs.
"What are you..." Izayoi said narrowing his eyes at Oberon, who turns his head as he smiled evilly. Then, he raised his right index finger as Asuna was lifted off the ground by her hands that were being handcuffed and she was left standing on her toes.
"Whoa..." Oberon said in awe looking at the shaking Asuna.
Then, Oberon stand up from the ground and spread his arms out instantly, "Hai!" Oberon said as the ground shook, which caused Asuna to hold a scared look.
"Great! This is perfect! You'd never get that kind of look from an NPC woman!" Oberon said as he walked towards Asuna.
Then, Oberon grabbed a fistful of Asuna's hair and sniffed it, "You smell so good. I worked so hard to replicate your real-world scent." Oberon explained as he released her hair. "I even went so far as to sneak an analyzer into your hospital room." Oberon said as he sniffed Asuna. "You should appreciate my efforts." Oberon said as he put his face right beside Asuna's cheek, but before he could, Asuna turn her face the other way, letting Oberon put his face at her right ear.
"You are going too far. Sugou..." Izayoi said as he tried standing up but he only succeeded on kneeling on the ground.
"Oh, boy." Oberon said as he pulled Izayoi's daito from the ground as he walked towards Izayoi. "Spectators should just shut up and stay on the ground!" Oberon said as he kicked Izayoi in the cheek but Izayoi stayed still.
"You think a little kick would knock me down?" Izayoi asked as he grit his teeth and he slowly stood up from the ground and he look at Oberon with a glare.
"Arghh!" Oberon then thrust his daito in Izayoi's chest, which caused Izayoi to grit his teeth in pain.
"Izayoi-kun!" Asuna shouted as Oberon twist the daito inside Izayoi's chest, but Izayoi only gritted his teeth, enduring the pain.
"System Command!" Oberon said as he turns his body around, and extend his right hand to the side. "Pain Absorber!" He said as a window appear in front of his hand. "Change from level ten to level eight." Oberon said as the red bar in the window decrease to the number 8. When the bar decreases, Izayoi gritted his teeth, still enduring the pain.
"Why are you not yelling?" Oberon asked looking at Izayoi. "Hurts, doesn't it? I'll be increasing the pain slowly, so look forward to it." Oberon said as Asuna move herself back and forth, trying to save Izayoi, but she was handcuffed to the chains which prevented her action trying to help.
"By the way, if you go below level three, it will start affecting your real body." Oberon explained as he turns around and walk towards Asuna. When Oberon stand in front of Asuna, "Now then..." Oberon said as he trace his finger from Asuna's exposed stomach to between her chest, which caused the white fabric that covered Asuna's chest to be slightly exposed and Asuna to look away.
"Sugou... " Izayoi said as he slowly walk towards them, but because he was being pressed down by the powerful gravity, and he had his daito stabbed in his chest, he could do nothing but take a step before he kneel on the ground.
"It's all right, Izayoi-kun. This sort of thing won't hurt me." Asuna assured him, as Oberon laughed which caused her to look at him with a glare and gritted teeth.
"Now that's what I'm talking about! How long can you keep your pride? Thirty minutes? One hour? Go on, hold on to it as long you can!" Oberon said as he pulled on Asuna's top, which revealed the sides of her breasts. Suddenly, Oberon forcefully rip off her top, as Izayoi's eyes widen. The red ribbon floating in the air floated in front of Izayoi before it shattered to polygons, followed by her top.
"Should I tell you what I'm thinking of doing to her?" Oberon asked as he walk around Asuna while Izayoi gritted his teeth in frustration. "Once I've had my fill here, I'll go to your hospital room, play a recording of today's act on a big monitor, and then have my fun with you all over again." Oberon said as he grab Asuna's face and then licked his lips. "With your real body." Oberon said as Asuna held a terrified look which caused him to laugh.
Then, tears started to form over Asuna's eyes as Oberon grab her face to look at him and then he lick at her face. Meanwhile, after Asuna's top were ripped of her chest, her breasts were now being covered by her two long bangs of her hair. After that, Oberon lick Asuna's face, "Sweet! So sweet!" Oberon said as he continued to lick Asuna's face.
"Sugou... You bastard!" Izayoi said with gritted teeth as Oberon lick Asuna's tears from her right eye and then look at Izayoi with a wide smirk. Izayoi tried to move, but the gravity kept pressing down on him. Izayoi couldn't help but watched with narrowed eyes as Oberon molest Asuna's left breast with his left hand while the other was holding her face. While this was happening, Oberon just laughed, mocking at Izayoi's reaction.
Suddenly, Izayoi's eyes widen, recalling each and every memory he shared with Asuna in the real world and in the virtual world. "That's enough, Sugou..." Izayoi said with his hair shadowing his face as Oberon look at him with a wide smirk.
"Oh? What do you mean?" Oberon asked as he step away from Asuna and walked towards Izayoi again.
Then, slowly Izayoi stood up from his kneeling position and disappeared instantly, surprising both Asuna and Oberon.
"Ugh?!" Oberon exclaimed as he look down at the black daito that was pierced inside his chest. He then slowly look at the daito and his eyes followed the blade of the daito till at the handle of the blade, which was held with one hand. He continued to follow the hand till his eyes widen at the cold piercing eyes staring back at him with rage.
"H-How are you able to?!" Oberon questioned with a shocked look, shock that Izayoi was able to move despite that he was supposed to be on the ground by the powerful gravity magic that he installed.
"You... You're dead, Sugou." Izayoi said with gritted teeth as he pulled out the daito from Oberon's chest and instantly he slashed his daito at his chest, which caused Oberon to scream in pain.
"Ahh!" Oberon screamed as he step back away from Izayoi.
"We're not finished yet, Sugou." Izayoi said coldly as he instantly disappeared which caused Oberon to look around the area to search for any signs of Izayoi. Then, Oberon heard something dropped and he immediately look in front of him, seeing Izayoi's black daito lying on the ground.
Suddenly, Oberon's eyes widen, seeing Izayoi appear out of thin air in front of him. "Wha-?!" Oberon exclaimed with a shocked look as a fist was buried into his stomach, which caused his body to bend forward by the force of the fist. Izayoi pulled back his fist from his stomach as he then continued his assault by punching the same fist to Oberon's cheek which caused him to step back.
"I'm not going to rest until you deserved what you did to Asuna. And you deserved an infinite amount of pain to repay for what you did." Izayoi said coldly as he continued to punch Oberon multiple times on the cheek.
"You're not going to lay a hand on Asuna anymore. Not ever." Izayoi said with narrowed eyes as he grab Oberon by his green royal jacket. He then slammed Oberon on the ground as Oberon look at Izayoi's narrowed eyes with his own scared eyes.
Izayoi then raised his fist and punched Oberon in the stomach, which caused Oberon to throw his head up, gritting his teeth in pain. Then, Izayoi swung down his fists again and again at Oberon's stomach, till he was in no capability to counter or block his attacks. After a while, Izayoi raised his fist again as he look down at the hole that he made on Oberon's clothes at his stomach area, revealing his exposed stomach. Then, Izayoi swung down his fist at his stomach again, but this time the force of the punch caused the ground to shake violently and caused the ground below them to crack.
"Huh... Huh... Huh..." Izayoi breath a couple of breaths as he pulled back his fist and stood up from Oberon's beaten body. He then picked up his daito from the ground as he look up at Asuna, and slowly walked towards her. After a while, he stop in front of Asuna, "I... Made a promise to myself." Izayoi said looking up at Asuna.
"Asuna... I'm sorry." Izayoi said sadly as tears stream down Asuna's cheeks. "Izayoi-kun, don't say that..." Asuna comforted with a smile as Izayoi wore a small smile. Then, Izayoi raised his daito and in an instant, the two chains that held up Asuna were sliced off, causing Asuna to fall to the ground, but before she could fall, Izayoi caught her in his left arm as he put his head down on hers.
"I'm sorry, Asuna..." Izayoi said with closed eyes as he tighten his hold on Asuna's right shoulder.
"It's alright, Izayoi-kun... It's alright. You saved me. And you're here with me. So, why should you apologize? This isn't like you to apologize." Asuna said as she wrapped her arms around Izayoi's neck. "It's okay now, I'm here. I'm safe now. Thank you, Izayoi-kun for saving me." Asuna said softly as she smile in Izayoi's chest.
Izayoi then pulled back from the hug as he take off his black jacket and give it to Asuna to wear. Asuna smiled at him as she take the jacket and put her right arm inside the sleeve of the jacket before she put her left arm in the other sleeve.
"Thank you, Izayoi-kun." Asuna said as Izayoi smiled and he open his window with a swipe of his left hand. He then open his item storage and press his black scarf in the storage, which caused the scarf to appear in his hand.
After that, Izayoi slowly tied the scarf around Asuna's chest, which caused Asuna to blush in embarrassment.
"Done." Izayoi said with a smile as he look at Asuna, seeing she was wearing his black jacket and his black scarf was tied around her chest to cover her exposed breasts.
"This... This... Isn't over, Sakamaki-kun." Oberon said as he slowly stood up and he swipe his left hand to the side, causing a window to appear in front of him. "This is over when you lay on the ground and shut up!" Oberon shouted as he snap his fingers and a lot of swords launch down towards Izayoi and Asuna. The same swords that the Guardians wielded.
Izayoi look at the quantity of the swords as he look at Asuna, and he pushed her away, causing Asuna to fall to the ground a few distance away from him.
"Izayoi-kun!" Asuna shouted seeing Izayoi deflecting a lot of swords with his daito but the swords kept coming down at Izayoi from the dark top of the room.
"How long will you last, Sakamaki-kun? Now you will suffer as I did! But much worse! Hahaha!" Oberon laughed maniacally even if his body was hurting all over.
Izayoi gritted his teeth as several swords found its way to scratch his cheek, his arms, and his legs. After a while, Izayoi fell down on one knee as a sword was imbedded in his right hand, causing him to let his daito fall to the ground. When he fell, the swords instantly strike down at his vulnerable state.
"N-no... I-Izayoi-kun..." Asuna mutters as tears begin to cascade over her eyes, seeing Izayoi with swords, imbedding themselves in different parts of Izayoi's body. "Izayoi-kun?" Asuna called out at the unmoving Izayoi, trying to find any response from him that would help her know that he was alive. But after a while, she didn't get any answer or response. "Izayoi-kun, please answer me..." Asuna asked sadly as she tried not to believe that he was dead yet.
"Izayoi-kun, please... Answer me..." Asuna mutters as she gritted her teeth and she look at Oberon, smiling smugly at Izayoi.
"You... I'll kill you!" Asuna said as she swipe her left hand down, causing a window to appear in front of her. She then pressed something in her item storage, which caused a weapon to appear in her hand and that weapon is her rapier, Lambent Light.
Asuna unsheathe her rapier from its sheath as she charge at Oberon, with her rapier thrust forward.
"What? How can you have a weapon?" Oberon asked with a surprised look, wondering how could she have a weapon in her item storage.
"Izayoi-kun gave it to me, that's why!" Asuna exclaimed with narrowed eyes as her rapier glowed purple and she thrust her rapier at Oberon multiple times, just like she used in SAO.
"Ah!" Oberon exclaimed as he clutch his right arm in pain.
Asuna pointed her rapier at his throat, which caused Oberon to gulp in fear of Asuna's glare. "Don't think for a second, that I won't pierce your throat." Asuna said as she thrust her rapier at Oberon's chest, causing him to flew back a few feet from her.
"Are you going to yield to the power of the system you once spurned?" A voice said to Izayoi, who was kneeling with both of his legs on the ground.
"No. Who do you think beat you in a duel, Kayaba?" Izayoi asked with a smirk as someone walked and stop in front of Izayoi.
"Then, the battle where you showed me how human will can transcend a system and opened my eyes to future possibilities." Kayaba said as Izayoi look up at him.
"Get up, Izayoi-kun." Kayaba said before he disappear.
"You know..." Izayoi mutters as Asuna's eyes widen at the voice. She turns around as she look at Izayoi's mouth moving. "I don't get why I didn't realized it before. But maybe it's because I forget a little, but these swords are so much weaker compare to the swords in that world that hits way more harder. And they hurt much more than this world." Izayoi explained as he slowly stood up, with his hair shadowing his face. Izayoi clutched one of the swords imbedded in his body as he pulled it out, followed by the other swords that he pulled out one by one.
"Izayoi-kun!" Asuna called out as a smile appeared on her face, happy that her boyfriend was still alive.
"Asuna, stand back." Izayoi said as Asuna nodded and she step back, until she was beside Izayoi, clearing the way towards Oberon, who was slowly standing up from the ground by the assault of Asuna's attacks.
"System log-in. ID 'Heathcliff.'" Izayoi stated as a bunch of windows appeared all around Izayoi while Oberon wore a surprised look.
"Wh-What? What is that ID?" Oberon asked.
"System Command. Change system administrator privileges. Set ID 'Oberon' to Level 1." Izayoi commanded as Oberon glowed orange for a second.
"Wh-?" Oberon was cut off as a window appeared in front of him, revoking his administrator status.
"Y-Your ID is higher than mine? Impossible!" Oberon said as he pushed side the window, which caused it to disappear. "I'm the ruler! The creator! I am the king of this world! I am God!" Oberon said as the light disappear below the circle floor.
"No, you're not, you idiot. You stole this world and its inhabitants. You're nothing but the king of thieves, dancing on top of a stolen throne, that's all." Izayoi said with a smirk.
"Y-You brat! How dare you talk to me like that!" Oberon said as he raised his right hand. "System Command! Generate Object ID 'Excalibur'!" Oberon said as the sword didn't appear in his hand. "Listen to me, you piece of trash!" He said as he stomp his right feet in frustration. "Your God is giving you order!" He shouted as Izayoi smirk in satisfaction at the sight of the frustrated Oberon.
Izayoi then turn his head halfway to look at Asuna, "Don't worry, Asuna. This will be over soon." Izayoi said with a smile as Asuna smiled at him.
"Now..." Izayoi said turning his head to face Oberon. "Generate Object ID 'Excalibur'!" Izayoi stated as a swords was digitally appeared in front of Izayoi, surprising Oberon. "How pathetic are you? Didn't you know that I revoked your administrator status?" Izayoi said with a smirk as he clutched the legendary blade in his hand and look down at it. He then throws the sword over at Oberon, who took it weakly in his hands.
"Hope you know how to use a sword for once. Because If you just stab a player with a sword without knowing any skills. What's the use? Anyway, it's time..." Izayoi said as he step on his daito, which caused it to flew upwards, spinning in circles before Izayoi caught it with his right hand. "To end this. The king of thieves versus the shinigami. I'll end your life without any mercy." Izayoi stated with narrowed eyes.
"System Command." Izayoi exclaimed as a window appeared beside him. "Set Pain Absorber at level zero." He said as the red bar decreases to the number zero.
"Wh-What?" Oberon exclaimed with beads of sweat visible on his forehead.
"Don't you dare run like a coward. That man fears no one and nothing. The man's name was Kayaba Akihiko." Izayoi said as Oberon's eyes widen.
"K-Kaya... Kayaba!" Oberon shouted. "I see now. That ID was... Why? Why must you get in my way even after you've died?! You were always like this!" Oberon said as he swing his sword behind him. "You acted as if you knew everything! Taking everything I wanted!" He shouted swinging his sword around.
"Sugou." Izayoi called as Oberon look at him. "I wouldn't understand you. But I know that I never wanted to become him. Unlike you." Izayoi said with a smirk.
"You damn brat!" Oberon said as he swing his sword at Izayoi, who easily blocked every attacks that he sent. "Damn it!" Oberon shouted taking a step back as he then charged at Izayoi with a thrust of his sword, which Izayoi dodged by swiftly moving to the right before he slash at Oberon's cheek, leaving a cut on his cheek.
"Ow!" Oberon exclaimed as he grabbed his left cheek in pain. He then turns to Izayoi, who look at him.
"It hurts? It's nowhere even near the pain you caused Asuna!" Izayoi said with a frown as he slash at Oberon, who raised his sword to block it. But Izayoi slashed at his arm instead, which caused his arm to be sliced off from its socket, after seeing Oberon raised his arm in front of him instead of his sword.
"My arm!" Oberon exclaimed with tears running down his cheeks as he hold his sliced arm. "My arm's gone!" Oberon said as Izayoi slashed sideways at his chest, which caused blood to immediately burst out from his waist. After half of his body was cut, leaving the upper body of Oberon to fall to the ground.
"You know you didn't pay fully for your action against molesting a woman." Izayoi said recalling how Oberon molest Asuna, which caused him to grip his daito tightly. "And I'm here to repay that sin." He stated as he grab Oberon by the hair of his head and threw him in the sky.
Izayoi hold his daito to the side, as a bright white light engulfed the daito, the same white light from the attack that he used to completely destroyed the Guardians. He then thrust his sword upwards, as the white light that engulfed the daito immediately forms a blade of white light from the tip of the daito. The white blade then grow longer as it heads straight towards Oberon, who saw the white blade with both of his eyes. Then, the white blade stabbed Oberon in between his eyes as blood spurted out from Oberon's head like a fountain. After that, Oberon burst into polygons as the white blade slowly retracts itself down the tip of daito and the white light around the daito slowly disappears.
After the white light disappeared completely, Izayoi twirled his daito as he then flick it to the side.
Then, Izayoi fell down one knee as he breath a couple of breaths.
"Izayoi-kun!" Asuna shouted as she rushed towards him, leaving her rapier to fall to the ground. She then stops and knelt in front of him, grabbing his shoulders to support him from falling.
"Huh..." Izayoi breathed as he look up at Asuna and then he wrapped an arm around her, "Are you alright?" Izayoi asked as Asuna smiled.
"I think I should ask you that question." Asuna said as she wraps her arms around Izayoi.
"Don't worry, I can handle the pain. But you..." Izayoi said as he tighten his grip on her shoulder. "I'm sorry I couldn't do anything to-" Izayoi was cut off by Asuna.
"It's alright, Izayoi-kun. I'm alright. I believed in you. No, I still do. I always have and always will. You're my hero, and I know you'll always come to my rescue. Just like you always did in the real world..." Asuna said with a smile as Izayoi smiled at her.
"And I'll always save you when you're still in trouble. Don't forget about that, okay?" Izayoi stated as Asuna nodded with a smile. "C'mon, let's go home." Izayoi exclaimed as he open his window and scroll down through files.
"It's probably nighttime in the real world. But I'm gonna go to your hospital right away." Izayoi said looking at Asuna.
"I'll be waiting. You're the first person I want to see, Izayoi-kun." Asuna said as she look up. "So it's finally over? I can finally go home to the real world?" Asuna asked as Izayoi smiled.
"Yeah." Izayoi exclaimed as he press the Log Out button to log out Asuna. "And there's a surprise waiting for you at the hospital soon." Izayoi said as Asuna look at him with a curious look and then she smiles, wanting to see the surprise soon.
"Okay. After that, Izayoi-kun, let's go to all sorts of places and do all sorts of things. I want to have fun with you again just like what we always did." Asuna said with a smile as tears begin to come out from her eyes as Izayoi nodded with a smile.
"Yeah." Izayoi replied as Asuna leaned her head on his chest and then a tear fell down across Asuna's cheek and Izayoi brushed it away gently with his thumb. Then, slowly Asuna begins to log out, disappearing into polygons beginning from her legs.
"See you." Izayoi said as Asuna nodded with a smile, before she disappeared completely. Izayoi look up towards the blue polygons before he stood up and stretch himself, "I know you're there, Kayaba." Izayoi exclaimed as Kayaba appeared floating down towards the ground in front of Izayoi.
"It's been a while, Izayoi-kun." Kayaba greeted.
"Are you dead by the way?" Izayoi asked, seeing as he was alive in front of him.
"In a sense I am and in another sense I'm not. I'm an echo of Kayaba Akihiko's consciousness." Kayaba explained as he touched the ground. "A residual image." Kayaba added as Izayoi smirked, knowing what he was saying.
"Thanks by the way." Izayoi said as Kayaba held a small smile.
"No need for that." Kayaba replied.
"Why?" Izayoi asked.
"The relationship we have is not one where a good deed goes unrewarded. I expect to be compensated. Always." Kayaba said as Izayoi smirked.
"Aren't you always. So, what have you got for me?" Izayoi asked as a bright orange light appeared above Izayoi, who look up at the light. Then, the light slowly descended down to Izayoi's right hand. The orange light was in the form of an egg.
"What's this?" Izayoi asked looking down at the egg.
"Something that can give rise to whole new worlds. It's called 'The Seed'. You'll know what it is once it starts budding. Then you can decide what you'll do with it. You can even delete it and forget about it. But if you still feel anything other than hatred for that world..." Kayaba said as Izayoi look down at the egg.
"Okay." Izayoi answered as Kayaba smiled a small smile.
"I'll be going now." Kayaba stated as he slowly flew to the sky with his hands in his pockets. "We'll meet again, Izayoi-kun." He said before he disappeared out of thin air as orange light burst out from where he disappeared.
"We'll meet again." Izayoi mutters with a smirk as he disappeared into the orange light. Then, he was transported from the room to the bird cage as he looked around.
"Yui?" Izayoi called out as Yui didn't appear before him. Then, he realized that Yui was in the real world.
Izayoi swipe down his left hand which activated the window to appear before him. He then pressed the Log Out button as he disappeared from the bird cage.
Real World
Izayoi sit up from his bed as he take off his NerveGear before he stood up from the bed and walked towards to the next room.
"Yui?" Izayoi called out as he look inside the room and he smiled, seeing Yui standing in the center of the room while she looked around the room.
Then, Yui look at him and she quickly runs towards Izayoi, who knelt down on the ground as she wrap her hands around him as Izayoi hugged back.
"Yui, are you okay?" Izayoi asked as Yui nodded.
"I'm okay. But I don't know how I came in this room. Do you know what happen, Papa?" Yui asked with a curious look.
"You're now in Papa and Mama's world now. You somehow transported yourself in the mind of a girl, who had the same resemblance as you." Izayoi said as Yui pulled back from the hug as she look down at herself.
"Is this my body?" Yui asked looking at her hands and tiny feet.
"Yes. Do you know what happen after I left?" Izayoi asked as Yui recalled the strange distorting space that took her and Asuna to a black space.
"I took refuge in the local memory of your NerveGear after Mama and I came inside this black space. But that's all I remember." Yui said as her eyes widen, recalling something. "And then, I remembered talking to you, Papa. You were sitting beside the bed and I told you that Mama is in danger. Where's Mama?" Yui asked looking around for her mother.
"She went back safely." Izayoi assured her with a smile as Yui smiled and hugged hiper father.
"Really? I'm so glad! I'm so glad. Really." Yui said as tears stream down her cheeks.
"Yui, do you know what will happen to Alfheim Online?" Izayoi asked as Yui looked up at him.
"My core program is stored in your NerveGear. We'll always be together." Yui said with a smile as Izayoi smiled.
"Can you transfer that data from my NerveGear to your Amusphere?" Izayoi asked as Yui think about it for a moment.
"I think I can since the Amusphere was used for Alfheim Online. I can do it." Yui said with a nod as Izayoi pat her head, causing Yui to smile at him.
"Well, I'm going to see Mama. Do you want to come with me to meet Mama?" Izayoi asked as Yui's eyes widen.
"Meet Mama here in this world?" Yui asked with wide eyes as Izayoi nodded, which caused a wide smile to spread across her face. "Let's go! I want to meet Mama!" Yui said excitedly as Izayoi smiled softly.
"Let's go. Before that, you'll need to wear something warm first." Izayoi said as Yui look at him with a confused look.
"Can't I wear like this?" Yui asked referring to her current dress, which was a white dress.
"Not if you want to freeze to death. Come on, I have a few warm clothes for you to wear. You're grandmother's friend gave it to us when her own daughter was grown up. Some clothes of hers would fit you. So, do you want to try some?" Izayoi asked with a smirk as Yui looked at herself and then she look at Izayoi.
"Hai! I want to try some!" Yui said with a smile as Izayoi extend his hand towards her, to which Yui took it with her hand. Izayoi then lead her out of the room and walked downstairs to find the clothes for her which was stored inside the storage room.
Time Skip
"Are you ready?" Izayoi asked looking at the top of mirror in the car, to see Yui nodding her head to him. She was wearing a red jacket with a black scarf around her neck. Also, she wears a black skirt with leggings below her.
"I'm ready, Papa." Yui said with a smile, as Izayoi look at the side-view mirror outside of the car as he reverse the car though the gates. When the car got out through the gates, the car drove off towards the hospital.
Izayoi put his hand down on one of his pocket, feeling the small box inside his pocket as he smiled.
Kitto, kitto tte mou ichido negau kara,
"I'm coming, Asuna."

That's the end of Chapter 13. How do you like it or love it? Anyway, that was sad right? The part where Asuna was molested. I was nearly going to punch my laptop after seeing that episode. And I still do. But Izayoi has defeated Sugou which makes me extremely happy and he saved Asuna! After logging her out, Izayoi is bringing Yui with him to the hospital, what will happen?
