Jasper knew this was wrong. She was only in middle school and he was in high school. He had a girlfriend. He knew it was wrong but he couldn't keep this girl out of his head. He was glad it was summer now though. This meant he didn't have to deal with everyone at school and he could see his favorite girl more.
Jasper loved going over the Cullen's during the summer. They had a huge pool and loved having pool parties. The gang was over to celebrate the ending of another school year.
"I'm so glad were done," Emmett said while running and jumping into the pool.
"Yeah easy for you to say you just graduated," Edward said brooding.
"Oh come on. It's not that bad were going to be seniors soon," Jasper joked to his friend.
"Yeah and then little Ali will be a freshman," Edward nudged his friend while Emmett gave Jasper the death stare.
"Will you two stop picking on the poor kid? He can't help who he likes. I rather have him be with Ali than that Maria girl," Rosalie jumped in.
"You still haven't ended it with her. Dude how do you think you'll ever get Ali if you're still with that witch," Edward asked.
As Jasper was going to respond Alice came skipping out of the house and jumped into the pool. Jasper watched her the whole time with his eyes bugged out of his head and his mouth wide open.
"Watch it man that's my sister," Emmett said while putting his arm around Rosalie.
"And that's my sister. Total double standard," Jasper responded while going in the house.
Edward followed his friend inside. Jasper was sitting at the counter with his head in his hands.
"Dude what's wrong with me. She's three years younger than me. This is ridiculous," Jasper said sighing.
"Nothing's wrong with you. You have a crush Jas. She just happens to be my baby sister but still you're normal."
"Why don't you want to kill me like Emmett does?" Jasper asked.
"Well I know how much she means to you. I've seen you two together since she was born. You've been there for her. I know you'd treat her right. And I know if you didn't, you know Emmett would kick your ass without a second thought."
"I don't want her to think it's weird though. We're not even in the same school yet."
"Well you don't need to start off dating. Maybe just being really good friends again. Take her places like a date, but not as a date. Her birthdays coming up. Maybe you could do something for her then."
"Oh yeah maybe I'll take her to get ice cream or out to eat or something."
"That's it man. Now let's go back outside and enjoy the sun," Edward said laughing, "But seriously stop looking at my sister like that it makes me uncomfortable and your pants sense that too."
Jaspers face turned red and he ran upstairs to fix his problem while Edward walked outside laughing like a maniac.
The next week was Alice's birthday and Jasper knew exactly what he was going to do. He wanted to remake the movie nights they had when Alice was little.
Alice walked downstairs to the basement to find Jasper there with all the goodies you need to have a movie night.
"What's all this Jas?"
"Well I thought for your birthday we could have one of those movie nights we used to have," Jasper said sheepishly.
"OH I love it," Alice said while throwing her arms around the boy.
The rest of the night consisted of the two laughing and talking and remembering how much fun they had when they were little.
"How in the world did you put up with me," Alice laughed, "I was terrible."
"Ali honestly I'm surprised you didn't get rid of me. I was actually the terrible one. All I did was follow you around like a hopeless puppy. I guess not much has changed."
"You don't follow me around."
"You're crazy. I'd follow you anywhere," Jasper said while giving the most beautiful girl a kiss.
When the two pulled apart Jasper realized what he did when Alice's face turned red and she ran from the room. Jasper ran after her until she started for her room. Edward stopped him in the kitchen.
"So much for being friends. Looks like you've done it now," He told his friend while putting his hand on his back.
