It's been a year and Alice and Jasper have been doing great. They have gone through ups and downs like any normal couple but have pushed through it. It's the last week of summer before Jasper's senior year and Alice's freshman year of high school.

Jasper and Alice were outside in the pool enjoying the last few days of summer.

"Are you nervous about your first day of big bad high school?" Jasper asked Alice while he splashed her.

"A little but I know you'll be there to protect me," Alice said innocently.

"You do know that as my job as a senior I am required to pull pranks on all of the freshman and that does include cute little freshman like you," Jasper said swimming over to Alice and giving her a kiss and she giggled.

"Oh yeah like what throw me in a locker, a trash can. How about you try something original. Maybe something new."

"How about a party that's new for you."

"As a prank?" Alice asked confused.

"No," Jasper laughed, "As like your first high school party."

"I don't know isn't there like drinking and drugs and like sex at these types of things and I'm not ready for any of that like I don't want to drink or do drugs or have sex and I don't know if I should go because if I do then something bad could happen and and and," Alice started rambling until Jasper put his hand over her mouth to stop her.

"Ali it's okay if you don't want to go but I promise if you went they wouldn't force you to do anything of that and id let you stay by my side the entire night."

Alice thought about for a second, "Okay I'll do it."

"Are you serious?"

"Yeah I'm going to be a high schooler I can't act like a baby anymore."

"If you say so. So I'll pick you up at seven kay," Jasper told Alice and gave her a kiss before he got out of the pool and went inside to talk to Edward before he left.

Jasper walked into Edward's room soaking wet and gave Edward a huge hug to get him wet too.

"Really you ass I was going to wear this tonight," Edward yelled.

"I figured you would. That's why I did it."

"You're going tonight right?"

"Yeah who else is supposed to watch our adorable little pixie?"

"No way Jazz. There's no way shes coming to this."

"Why not she's in high school now. She's going to go to one sooner or later so why not be one were going to be there."

"Do you plan on not getting shit faced then because there's no way she's staying the night like we usually do because they will try stuff."

"Well actually I didn't think of that yet."

Edward put his head in his hands, "Jazz are you serious you're ridiculous. I guess if you want to be the stupid one tonight you can ill make sure Ali is okay."

"No I won't drink tonight I asked her I'll be responsible."

As Jasper was pulling up to the party Alice tugged on her crop top and skirt for the hundredth time wishing she had picked something else to wear. The two started to walk in together and Jasper put his arm around Alice with his hand on the exposed skin on her stomach. Alice tensed and Jasper stopped walking.

"Are you okay?" Jasper asked with nothing but concern in his voice.

"Yeah I'm good. I just feel so exposed in this outfit. I knew I shouldn't have worn this tonight."

"We can go home Ali. I won't be mad I promise but I do like how that looks on you," Jasper said with a devious smile.

"No I'm good I just need to throw myself into this."

As soon as they walked in everyone crowded the two eager to talk to Jasper.

"Hey Jasper how'd you get baby Cullen to come out to this," One of the guys said spinning around Alice eyeing her up and down.

"Oh shut it dude she don't look like such a baby tonight," Another one yelled over the music.

"Okay both of you stop she doesn't need this," Jasper led the wide eyed Alice away from the group of boys.

Throughout the night Jasper and Alice stayed together but the whole time Jasper looked around like he was looking for someone.

"You can go. You don't have to stay with me all night. You're obviously looking for someone," Alice told Jasper in the middle of the conversation.

"What are you talking about?" Jasper asked.

"I can tell you're distracted. I'm fine I'll just stay here."

"Okay if you say so. I'll be right back I'm just going over there real quick."

Alice sat by herself for a while and then decided she needed to find a bathroom. She went searching but had no idea where she was supposed to be going. She walked into a room and started looking around when the door slammed shut. Alice turned around to find one of the guys who was in the group earlier.

"So baby Cullen why are you in here all alone."

"I was looking for the bathroom," Alice said quietly.

"I'm assuming Jasper didn't tell you who I was," The guy said walking toward Alice, "My names James I'm pretty known around school."

"Well I should get back to Jasper he's probably looking for me," Alice said trying to get away from James.

"I'm sure he's probably talking with people and doesn't even realize you're gone," James said sliding his hand across her exposed stomach.

Before Alice could move James put his hand over Alice's mouth and threw her on the bed. Tears started streaming out of her eyes and she tried to fight her way out from under him. He took both of their clothes off with little struggle because of the size difference.

Alice bite James hand that was still over Alice's mouth. He let go and Alice jumped up to get away. She grabbed a sheet from the bed and started running out of the room. She ran into something hard and looked up to see Edward.

"What's wrong?" Edward asked Alice pulling her into a hug.

Through the sobs Alice tried to tell her brother about what happened.

"Alice were leaving come on, "He told her while pulling her out of the party and into the night, "I told that idiot that he shouldn't have brought you."

The ride home was filled with nothing but Alice's sobs. When they pulled into the drive Edward carried his sister up to her room and tucked her into bed while he called his idiot of a friend.

"Hello," Jasper asked confused.

"Hey Jazz where's my sister?"

"Um hold on she was just over on the couch but she's not there right now. Let me ask someone if they've seen her."

"No its okay ill check her room considering I just put her in there after she told me about how James almost raped her."

Edward heard the phone fall from the other line and feet shuffling around before the line went blank.

Jasper ran to where he knew James would be. He burst into the room and grabbed James by his shirt and got into his face.

"I swear to god if you ever touch her again I will personally kill you myself," Jasper sneered as she punched James in the face and left the party.

Before Jasper knew what he was doing he was pulling into the Cullen's drive and was walking into Alice's room.

He sat on the bed and instantly felt Alice's wet tears in his lap and he sat there with her all night.
