Another drabble, hm? Why yes, it is. Based off the guidelines for the other drabble I recently uploaded, entitled "You're FIRED", this drabble was created from a prompt given to me by my AP English teacher.

Prompt: "Begin with: The hallway was silent…"
Character used: Ikkaku Madarame
The hallway was silent…The male looked left, and then looked right. No signs of other life or movement. Completely…alone. A small smirk was upon his lips, as he unsheathed his sword. "All the captains and their lieutenants are with them…" muttered the lithe, bald man, "which means…No one else is in the building!" Nearly bursting with glee, Ikkaku's smirk widened into a large, almost psychotic grin, as he held out his katana. Taking a deep breath, he prepared to call out the special command needed to release his soul-cutting blade's full power, but quickly had to stop himself as footsteps began to approach him.
"Ban-Aaaaah!" Having to stop himself so abruptly, Ikkaku fell flat on his face, just as the other captains and lieutenants entered the hallway.
"Better luck next time, 3rd Seat Madarame," stated the general-commander Yamamoto, walking past the grounded male. But little did the others know…Ikkaku just grinned with glee, muttering, "I'll get it one day, sir…"
