Hello! Long time no see. I want to apologize to my readers. I know you all enjoy this story, and I haven't exactly been working it. You know how life is. Sometimes you get too busy to even have a moment of peace. Well, I finally have managed to get some time, and well here is chapter 5. It is short, and it may not quench your thirst or maybe it will, who knows? I am working on Chapter 6 and it will be normal length for how I write. If you're reading my Harriet Potter/Xena fic as well as this, then good news, I am also working on the next chapter for that fanfic. Thank you for being patient with me, and thank you too all those wonderful readers who have reviewed with constructive criticism and the encouraging words

HP/WW Chapter 5

After Ron had been released from his stupefied state the wedding went off without any more problems. Hermione was finally glad to see Harry happy. He finally had the family he had always wanted. The guests were enjoying themselves. Hermione glanced around and winced as she felt a slight nudge in her side. She looked into bright green eyes hidden behind round spectacles.

"You've been married for ten minutes. Are you enjoying the married life Potter?" Hermione asked with a smile.

"Yes, I am. Ginny is the most beautiful woman in the world and I am glad to call her my wife." He said with mirth.

"Uh-" Hermione muttered.

"Too cheesy?" Harry asked with a laugh.

"Yeah, even for your standards."

"It's only the beginning." He replied with a smirk.

"Of course." She replied. She patted him on his arm. "I am really happy for the two of you," she paused and glanced over at her parents who were conversing with Bill and Fleur, "I have to catch an early flight out." She gave him a hug. "Tell Ginny bye for me." She said with a small smile as she quickly walked away from Harry before he could stop her.

Her heart ached for that type of love. She thought she had found it with Ron, but they had been rushed into a relation because of the dark and gloomy atmosphere they had to survive in. She remembered back to their fifth year when he had been in a relationship with Lavender Brown. Had the woman survived the war, Ron and her, would be together. She had no doubt about it.

"What has you so sad?" A soft and concerned voice asked.

Hermione narrowed her eyes. "That's none of your concern, Amazon." She growled out. At once she plastered a hardened look in her eyes. She would not have any one questioning her on her way out. It would lead to more questions and conversations that she was not really up to having.

"I am your date. It is my concern."

"Your date has come to an end. You can fly right? Of course you can you're Wonder Woman. Go on back to wherever it is you're staying. Our date is over." She said. She continued walking in a hurried pace. Each time her foot hit the ground she became more angrier. There was no reason for the Amazon to be concerned about her. She was a snooty princess. Hermione snorted.

"Hermione, dear, is everything alright?" Her mother asked her.

"Yes, but we need to get going. I have flight to catch first thing in the morning." She stated.

"Go and fetch Diana—"

"She already has a way home. Can we go now?" Her parents glanced at one another in worry about their daughter. She was normally patient and caring. However, now, she seemed to be rude whenever the Amazon Princess was mentioned.

Diana stood still and watched Hermione's retreating back. She felt herself become hurt. She hadn't felt such self-pitying since Batman had rejected her. She let out a sigh unaware she had company.

"Ouch." Fred Weasley said.

"Ditto." Harry agreed.

"What's wrong with her?" Ron asked.

Diana glanced between the three of them. "I don't think she has ever liked me. I was kind of a jerk to her the first time we met."

"Hermione is a forgiving person. You did apologize didn't you?" Fred asked.

Diana moved some wayward strands of hair out of in front her eyes as she thought about the question he had asked. Her shoulders slumped and she shook her head. "No. I never did get around to apologizing. I wanted to check up on Hermione and I kind of forced my way into being her date, and well it never crossed my mind to apologize for our first meeting. Then again, she should apologize to me, since she insulted me first." Diana said with a hint of annoyance in her voice.

"What did Hermione do to insult you?" Harry asked scratching his head in confusion.

"She reminded me in a nasty way of certain events that I wanted to put out of my mind." Diana replied a snappy manner. "Excuse, but I think I should leave." She said as she watched the Grangers take off down the drive way. She did not wait for a reply from the men around her. Instead she gently floated up and then flew in the direction of the Granger's car. She, who was always being gawked upon in awe, ignored the gasps of Hermione's friends reactions to her flying.

"Where have you been?" Queen Hippolyta asked her daughter the moment she stepped within the Embassy's doors.

Diana grimaced at the question. "I was with Hermione. I escorted her to one of her friend's weddings."

"You mean that woman that insulted you?" The blonder haired Amazon, General Alindra, asked.

"Yes. Her."

"Why?" The General asked.

"I like her." Diana replied without a second thought to her answer, and then looked around at her sisters as they were looking at her.

"How much do you like her?" Her biological sister asked.

"Yes, how much, is it more than that little crush you had on the man dressed as a bat?" Her mother inquired.

"I like her enough to want to pursue a romantic relationship with her." Diana admitted truthfully.

General Artemis snorted.

"You find that funny Artemis?" Diana asked.

"Yes. How long have you known her? There are many Amazons who would be better suited for you. Amazons you have known for years."

"I have known her exactly 3 days, but unlike the sisters on Themyscira I can actually see Hermione whenever I want. I haven't been exiled from the United Kingdom, or the United States where she currently resides. Excuse me, I am tired." She retreated from the main room and into her private ones. Diana slipped out of her attire, and entered the bathroom. She needed to think and taking a relaxing bath always helped.
