Drew's POV at hospital

Walking in to see Adam was surreal to me. I know he's ok, but I just couldn't get passed the anger I felt at those boys. They better hope I don't find them.

Feeling Clare slip her hand in mine. I smile. Giving her hand a squeeze, I open Adam's room door.

"Hey" Clare and I both say then laugh.

"Hey" Adam says with a look of confusion at our joined hands. " When did this happen?" he asked pointing at our hands.

"This morning." Clare replies " You ok with us.." She trails off looking uncertain.

Crap. Never thought how this might affect their friendship. I quickly looked up as Adam started to laugh..

"Oh don't do that. I"m still sore." he wheezes truing to stop but after looking at our shocked faces he starts again. " I am fine. It's about time, if you ask me." he finally gets out. With a smile he opens his arms , for Clare, to give him a hug.

Watching them, I just smile as he releases her and holds his fist out for me to bump. As we touch fists he says " Bro love ya but you better treat her right."

" Never a worry." I reply.

" Good" as he shuts his eyes. " Hey don't you have to get to school?"

" Going in late I've got notes. So it's cool." I explained.

" Cool." he says as he doses back off.

" We should let him sleep." Clare says, coming to my side.

" Yeah" as we head out to go to school.

"Do you think that the police will find those boys?" Clare ask with a shudder.

" They will." I state with confidence But if they don't I will! Giving her a smile, I start the car. "Ready for this as we pull away?"

"For?" she questions

" You know people, are going to be all over us, about what happen. You ready for that?" I ask

"Oh, I thought you meant about us." She says quietly.

" I told you. I wanted us to work. we will face them together and if anyone has any issues we will take care of it together. Right?" As I pull into a spot in the parking lot.

Giving me a kiss. She whispers. "right, ok let's do this." As we open, the door, to head inside.
