Yeah, yeah, yeah, been waaaay too long since I updated. I know. I'm horribly sorry. I had a lot of stuff happening, and lost inspiration to boot. Well, I was perusing my story, and found I had some inspiration stored up. I guess having a baby does that to you. :) Anyways, here's Chapter 10, and the next few chapters should be my last for this particular story. If you want to check out the lead up story to this one, you can search for Many Time Ladies Over.

All this aside, I hope this chapter entertains. I do not own any of the characters (except my OCs), or the worlds. Enjoy!

"All right, then; Harry, do you and Neville have a plan for herding the Sontarans into an area?" the Doctor asked as he stepped out of the TARDIS. The group looked at him, and Harry and Neville both nodded. "Good; Donna, we're going to be here for a bit. Turns out this lot is in a bit of trouble, and as I'm fairly decent at getting out of it, I figured I'd help them." Donna quirked her head in puzzlement.

"What kind of trouble?" she asked, obviously a bit worried.

"Nothing that we can't deal with; Chancellor, do you have your TARDIS close by chance?" I looked at him and smiled, so grateful that he remembered to use my pseudonym. I nodded. "Well, then; let's get to it." His enigmatic smile lit up the room and I thought I heard a few breaths of relief. I headed down the hall towards where I'd left it, and he followed me. When we were in front of it, I activated my sonic to uncloak it. "Your circuit works, then?"

"Always; why, what happened to yours?" He opened the door and stepped inside. I entered and shut it.

"Mine broke a while back; been a police box ever since." My face must have shown my confusion. "Don't give me that look; I never felt the need to fix the circuit. Besides, it's kind of my thing now. Blue police box. The Doctor. It goes together…. Kinda." He strode to my console, and ran his fingers over the controls. "Oh, look at this beauty. He's been kept in good condition; how many times have you taken him out?"

"Not much, I'm afraid. You know me, always studying."

"Did you ever read up on the rest of the galaxy?"

"No, not much, I'm afraid." I leaned on the console, watching the Doctor as he flipped some of the switches and checked to make sure everything in my TARDIS worked as it was supposed to. From what I knew, it was all in great working order. Like I said, not much of a flier. He rested his hand on a dial, looked up at the screen and frowned. He twisted the dial, and something flew up on the screen that caused him to scratch his head. He twisted it again, and something else came up.

"How many times have you jumped since you came in here last?"

"Only twice; why, what's wrong?"

"Did you know that your TARDIS is a dimension-jumping TARDIS?" My surprised look confirmed the answer. "Tala, if you are my Tala, you're in the wrong dimension. Where did you come from?" I opened my mouth, but I couldn't find any words. I wasn't even in the right galaxy anymore. Two dimensions away; might as well be a million lightyears. I mumbled something incoherent. I planted myself next to him, and we working on trying to find where I came from. In minutes, he had found the initial jump, plan, and original coordinates. I was not very happy that I had jumped across dimensions unknowingly. That's why Neville and the others had never seen Gallifrey; in this dimension, it had never happened. I had also stored away the coordinates and plan to Hoth, so when it was time to return Aryn and Kaal, I could get there quickly. "All right, that should be the end of it. I can't believe that you didn't know what that dial was for." My glare made him shut his mouth.

"Well, I'm not exactly an expert when it comes to TARDISes, Thete. On the plus side, you should probably use my TARDIS when dealing with the Sontarans. Your old type 40 can't really do much against them, can it?" He pretended to be hurt.

"Tala, oh how you abuse me! My TARDIS is absolutely fine in dealing with Sontarans. Been doing the job for the last 500 years."

"You've had that thing for 500 years?"

"Well, more like 700. Well, closer to eight." I couldn't believe it. I didn't know how he had managed to keep it together, but I was happy that it was working out for him. He did love museum pieces. Always liked the history behind it. "C'mon, let's get back to the gang so we can coordinate our resources effectively to put these Sontarans out of commission." We flew the TARDIS down the hallway until it was outside the office. Any students that saw it looked perplexed at what was happening. We couldn't be bothered trying to explain.

As we approached the headmistress' door, we could hear Donna arguing with the others. The Doctor looked a bit apprehensive as we opened the door. "Sontarans won't be fooled, you blithering idiots! Funneling them into a spot won't do any good."

"It's the only plan we got!" Harry shot back. That's when the Doctor stepped in.

"All right, all right, hold on there, Donna; let's take a step back." The sassy red-head glared at the Doctor. He threw a stern glance in her direction, then faced Neville and Harry. "My first question is how long have the Sontarans been here?" I saw the headmistress get up from her desk.

"Doctor, they've been here for several years, if not decades, I'm afraid. We only noticed the change in the gardens about 7 years ago. They never harmed anyone so we didn't think anything of it."

He looked in her direction, confused. "Decades? But why would they attack now?"

"I'm afraid Miss Smith would have more information than me about that," she said, nodding in my direction. I honestly had no idea why they were planning on now, of all times. Thete shot me a questioning look.

"Miss Smith, care to enlighten us?" My throat constricted. Really?

"I, um, I don't really know. All I know is that me, that professor, and my companions got thrown into a dark dream by way of psychic pollen from Karass Don Slava." That alone drew a hard stare from the Doctor.

"You're sure that's what it was?" I drew out my pouch and opened it, making sure not to touch the stuff as it spilled out to where the Doctor could see it. His eyes burned with fury at the sight of it. "How much did you get hit with?"

"A handful, by the amount we found ourselves covered in." The Doctor paced in front of the group, his right hand covering his mouth. He looked deep in thought. He turned to me. A feeling of dread lurked in the pit of my stomach.

"Miss Smith, do you know where they are currently?"

"I do, but I only saw two when I passed through the gardens." His face contorted into a puzzle as he didn't understand what I was talking about. Sontarans were never the nature sort.

Neville piped up, "I know where they are. They never gave me trouble; I always thought they were rather simple-minded. Never gave'em a second thought."

"You're the professor that got caught in the dream?"

"Yes." That gave the Doctor pause.

"Who did it leech the dream from?"

"It was me, I'm afraid," I said, anger starting to rise at the thought of the Dream Weaver messing with my head. The Doctor looked at me intensely.

"Oh no—"

"Oh yes. I'd rather not repeat that any time soon." I hadn't wanted to say anything to him about Koschei and him in the dream. I don't know if he would be able to handle knowing that his former best friend had killed him, even if it was just a dream. He looked at me with a serious gaze. I shook my head, knowing where he thought the dream had taken place. "We never went to our planet, but it was enough to shake them up a bit," I said, nodding towards Aryn, Kaal, and Neville.

"I'm not going to ask what happened, but good thing you all got out of it. Not an easy task to accomplish, that's for sure. All right, so the Sontarans are peddling around in the gardens of this place, yes?"

"I'm afraid so, Doctor," Neville said. The Doctor stroked his chin, looking deep in thought.

"So, what are they waiting for? They've been here for a long while. Why bother putting you all asleep now? There's no reason for them to attack." As much as I didn't want to do it, I offered up the only thing I could do to help the situation.

"I can try to find out what the plan is, and if they are planning on executing it any time soon." Thete looked at me, and I could tell he was weighing the option carefully.

"While I usually don't condone that sort of thing, it would help immensely in knowing where to go from our initial plans. Are you sure you want to do this, Chancellor?"

"First off, I want to know how you two know each other. Second, why is Donna even here?" Neville shot off, gesturing towards the red-head. What was his problem?

"Listen, Professor, the Chancellor and I know each other from school, and second, Donna Noble is my companion. Sorry she doesn't fit YOUR idea of worthiness, you prat." Donna folded her arms and smirked at Neville. He turned back to me. "All right, Chancellor, your turn."

I was already on the couch, and had gotten myself into a comfortable position. I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, and released my consciousness. It drifted downwards, down towards the green houses of Hogwarts where our enemies were. I could sense the Sontarans. I lingered over a particularly tall one, as most of the smaller ones were crowded around him. The taller one must be the leader. I quietly slipped into a smaller Sontaran, wanting to learn more. I could hear the leader in my other form, but if I had questions, I didn't have a voice. This would make that possible, even though Sontarans usually didn't ask questions. "—and soon, we shall be ready for the ATMOS to take control of this world. These particular kinds of humans are the hardest to control, which is why we've taken the psychic pollen. We can reduce them to smitherens with but a few particles, and then the planet is ours for the glory of the Sontaran Empire." I hadn't a clue as to what ATMOS was, but the Sontaran I occupied knew. He wouldn't let me into his thoughts, which meant I needed another way to find out.

"Sir, I need a reminder on what ATMOS is, sir," I said, hoping the leader wouldn't find it too inquisitive. The tall one snapped his head towards me.

"For the second time, ATMOS stands for Atmospheric Omission System. It reduces the carbon dioxide in vehicles, and doubles as our clone conversion fuel as well. The humans here—well, in the main cities—think it is a new invention to help reduce harmful emissions into the atmosphere. These humans have what they call 'magic', so we must destroy them before pulverizing the rest of the planet."

"And this is the perfect time to strike, sir?"

"As I stated earlier, our homeworld sent me here a week ago with enough pollen to decimate those that practice this magic so we can crush the rest, and build up a new base from which to launch into the rest of the Milky Way Galaxy. Enough talk. We must start our attack immediately. Ranks!" the Sontaran yelled. I made my exit, and drifted back to my body. I came back surrounded by the rest, and Neville handed me a glass of water. The Doctor looked at my face and could see that something was rattling me. "Chancellor, let's have it. What is their plan?" I gave them all the information that I had gleaned from the leader, and it seemed to shake the Doctor up. "But that system got destroyed a few years ago by me. There's no way they would agree to—oh." He looked as if something just clicked. He looked at me, and inquired, "Did you set a lock on Time Lord tech when you jumped?"

"What are you talking about?"

"I mean, Chancellor, did you have your TARDIS set to seek out Time Lord tech if it was close by?" I honestly had no idea. "You must have pulled my TARDIS here by accident. We've already dealt with ATMOS in my dimension. It must have detected my TARDIS. Luckily," he said, "that means we've got a one-up on them. Actually, two, since we know they have the pollen as well." He grinned and entered his TARDIS. In a flash, he came out with a black block and handed it to me. "Plug that into your TARDIS. It has all the information that I've compiled of all the different species, alien life forms, earth life forms, and stuff that I've encountered during my 800 years of traveling, including information on ATMOS." Kaal grabbed the block, and went into my TARDIS to download the files.

"So what does this do to our plan?" Harry asked. That was a very good question. The Sontarans were going to simply enter the school and start tossing pollen around. That would raise a lot of hell in the hallways. Donna spoke up.

"You can still funnel them into your location, right?" Harry nodded, slightly wary of her input. "Well, if you all can do magic, and the spots in the back of their heads are vulnerable, why don't you zap them with your magic? Wouldn't that take them down?" The Doctor beamed at her.

"That's brilliant!" He turned to the witches and wizards. "Well, would that work?" All of them exchanged smiles as they nodded their heads. "I can join you. Donna, you stay here with Aryn and Kaal, and we'll go help them out with the Sontarans." He snuck a grin at me, and I twirled my sonic. This was going to be interesting.

"Wait! I have my blaster, and I'm a pretty good shot," Kaal interjected. The Doctor and I looked at each other, then at him. I really didn't want him to come, but the more people we had available, the better. I leveled my eyes at him.

"Are you sure you want to do this? I can come back, you might not. You are risking your life if you do this, and I want to make that abundantly clear before you decide." He set his jaw, and rested his hand on his blaster. He must have gotten it when he downloaded the information in my TARDIS. The Doctor and I traded grim looks.

"Let's get ourselves ready," Harry proclaimed.
