Chapter 14:

"Psttt Hey Bell" "Hey, wake up." "Bellamyyy." "Clarke do you think he's alive?" "Seriously Octavia?" "Hey Bellamy" "Hold on O, I've got an idea."…. Suddenly Bellamy and his cot were covered in water. Gasping for air Bellamy bolted awake looking directly at Octavia and Clarke. Octavia stood coolly with her arms crossed while Clarke held a, now empty, bucket, a smirk plastered on her face.

"What the hell guys?" Grumbled Bellamy.

"Well Good morning to you too, Sunshine." Grumbled back Clarke teasingly.

"What time is it?" Sighed Bellamy, looking out his screen window to see it was barely light outside.

"Almost 6:30 Bell, common we have a lot to do! The grounder's attack was 4 days ago and Clarke has an idea on how to get them back, but it can only work today!"

Bellamy looked to Clarke, who looked like she'd been up for an hour already, with her hair pulled into a sleek ponytail, and her navy blue staff shirt loosely tucked into her denim cut off shorts.

"Lets go, we have a lot of work to do," Said Clarke momentarily unfocused, obviously trying to avoid the fact that Bellamy now sat upright, leaving his full chest now exposed. Not to mention his unruly hair and freckled skin that just looked different this early in the morning. "Yeah, so- hurry up." Said Clarke throwing him a shirt from the ground, and walking with Octavia out of the cabin.

"Paintball Facility, 10 minutes!" Called Octavia.

The two girls chatted as they walked towards the supply depot; the path was foggy, as the sun had only just started to rise. Octavia was going on about camp gossip, "And then this girl named Opal came into the cabin saying that she thought that Jessica heard from Marley that Jonas-"

"-Octavia." The younger girl looked up. "What are you trying to tell me?"

"Right. So- anyways. You'd tell me if something was going on between you and my brother right? Cause usually I always know what's going on but-"

"What?!" Scoffed Clarke, "Where did that come from?"

"I was just telling you! Opal, heard from Jessica, who heard from Marley, talking to Jonas, who heard from Finn that you're more than co-heads with Bellamy. Personally, I think its crazy, because I always know when something goes on between you two. And you'd always tell me, right!?"

"Octavia, that's crazy." Clarke sighed, not totally convinced. Octavia shot her friend a quizzical look. "Look O, we're just friends, more rivals if anything."

"Common Griff, you'd have to be crazy not to see it."

"There's nothing to see, O"

"Clarke, you and Bell have known exactly what the other was thinking since first year, and I wasn't even a camper then! I just knew cause you guys would have these insane stories to tell when my mom and me picked up Bell at the end of the summer. I mean sure there was a lot of bickering but you guys had each others backs."

"Ocatvia," Started Clarke.

"No, listen to me,"

"Just drop it." Said Clarke, harsh enough to stop Octavia's rant. "Look, sure Bellamy and I are closer this year, but whatever you think is going on… It's not."

Octavia raised her eyebrow at Clarke, "But do you want-"

"Octavia," Clarke let out with a small laugh, slowly starting to lighten up. Octavia nudged her. "I…" Clarke paused, "It doesn't matter, we have a lot to do today, and I can't think about this now."

Octavia rolled her eyes, of course.

"Back on the subject of Groundfield revenge. I never got to thank you for that grounder info you found out. How did you know that we'd be able to attack this afternoon at 3?" Asked Clarke, effectively changing the topic.

Octavia shrugged. "You can trust this source. I swear."

Clarke gave her a look as if to say: What's really going on? But Octavia just shrugged it off.

Clarke and Bellamy skipped breakfast, and so far first period to work a revenge plot. Octavia had to go and bring them food from the mess hall, just so they could keep working and came back to find them both sitting at the picnic table outside the supply depot, with a map of both camps pinned into the wood. "It was getting to crowded inside the depot." Said Bellamy. Somehow Octavia didn't think close proximity was an issue for these two.

"Ok. So what if we planned a water attack. Like we came in by canoe." Asked Bellamy, moving two figurines canoes onto the map. The locations of the two camps could both found on the western shore of Morgan Lake. Camp Groundfield was located more north and Centaire to the south. Water attacks were rarely ever used considering the lack of cover offered by the open water, and the fact that the boarder separating the two camps was so convenient for attacks.

"No, that won't work, their docks are too close to the camp's main office, if we managed to get in unseen, getting out of the boats would be a whole other story."

"If we did it at night it could work."

"No it has to be between 3 and 5 this afternoon. The campers and counselors are gone offsite for some sort of tradition or something, I don't know. Leaving only the adults in their office there."

"How did you even get this information?" Asked Bellamy. Clarke shot a quick and unnoticeable glance to Octavia. "And let me just clarify. Your plan is NOT to attack them? Have you lost it?"

"Look, I've been running strategies since yesterday, we don't have any attacks that can send a message without giving away future strategies. "I have Monroe and Margo getting together all the grape juice powder she can find in the kitchen. And Jasper and Monty looking into the kind of irrigation system they have. This is going to be epic." Clarke nodded excitedly.

Bellamy watched her explain the plan again but couldn't quite stay focused on what she was saying. As hard as he tried he couldn't take his eyes off of her, she was in her element. Clarke was a strategist, from pranks to paintball, she came up with strategies and he put them into play, but he couldn't help but thing what kind of game she was playing with him. What was she doing?

"Understood?" Asked Clarke. Bellamy nodded, not moving his stare from her.

From behind the two co-heads, Octavia pointedly coughed. "Hey Bell, can I talk to you?"

Bellamy looked at Clarke in confirmation, as if to ask, Can I? Man, he was so whipped.

"Yeah, I'm going to go check on Jasper and Monty and see if they have any ideas on crossing camp boarders. I'll see you too at lunch."

The Blakes nodded as Clarke sat up from the picnic table and walked off.

As soon as Clarke was out of ear-shot Octavia turned to Bellamy, eyebrow raised quizzically.

"What's up?" Asked Bellamy, only slightly defensively.

With that Octavia smacked his shoulder, "You know very well What's Up? You and Clarke. You have got to stop staring at her like she hung the moon."

"Octavia, I have no clue what you're talking about."

"Stop dancing around each other and make a move!"

"O, seriously, Clarke and I are just friends, nothing more, besides, even if- she's still dealing with Finn."

"If you honestly think she's still thinking about Finn these days, you are even stupider than I think you were. Make a move."

Bellamy paused, looking at his sister, "Look," he sighed, "I've tried, I don't think she feels the same way."

Octavia smiled ear to ear, admitting you have a crush is the first step to revovery. "Your moves are weak, brother. Look, Clarke has been putting up with your teasing for YEARS and somehow she doesn't hate you. Somehow, you've gotten through to her, don't fuck it up."

"Octavia-"

"I can only help you so much, lets go get lunch."
