"Remind me again why did I say yes when you asked me to do this?" Leon grumbled, trying his best to stand still and holding his urge to not flinch every time a person behind him take his measurement. The place that he's in and the place that Ada's in is separated only with an expensive looking curtain, clearly Ada could hear every single thing that he said.

"Did you bumped your head into something? Because you want me to cheer for you on the fencing match. Stop bitching about it, Leon. Even I agreed to your terms without complain."

Leon huffed, he never get his measurements taken before and man it's surely a pain. It doesn't really took a lot of time, but still it's awkward to stand half naked with a woman who measures every single inch of your body.

"Why can't we just buy an already made clothes?" He complained again.

"We're coming to that gala because I have to represent my mom who stand at the highest place of fashion magazine industry, so we couldn't just come into that event with an already made clothes, besides it looks cute when you're wearing a matching dress with your date in an event."

He could feel the blood rushing to his cheek hearing that.

A few weeks back, Ada asked him to do a favour. In the chilly weather of Racoon city besides the lake that's close from his home Ada explained.

Ada's mom is someone that's important in the high class society. People would invite her to a gala, fundraising and all the stuff that Leon doesn't really understand. There's a thanksgiving gala that her mom is invited to, but too bad her schedule doesn't allow her to attend. This upcoming festive is held by someone that's important to their family so Ada as the eldest child was asked to attend on her family behalf.

Ada doesn't want to go alone because she think it'd look miserable, so she asked him to accompany him saying that it'll also do a good favour for his online popularity. Honestly Leon doesn't think that I'd help his name in any way, since he's an online celebrity not the kind that appears on the bigger screen, but remembering Ada's faraway looks tugged his heart. So he said yes, but with one condition, Ada should come to his upcoming match and cheer for him.

So here he is, spending his 5 days thanksgiving holiday with the girl that he's secretly crushing on in the city that never sleeps. What's worse is for all the city in the states it really have to be in this particular city, the one that he never visited before, yet he hates so much.

He's staying at her family penthouse and thankfully it has a guest room that he could use. But the fact that it's only him and her in it doesn't actually make it easier for him. Geez, parents these days, they doesn't even seem to bother about the fact that their daughter is staying alone with a boy, not saying that the boy couldn't be trusted, but still~ isn't that risky?

"Do you have anything else planned for today?" he asked when they finally out from the designer office. Ada shook her head while adjusting her dark scarf.

"Hmm… Shall we go to the grocery first before going home? That way we could eat better dinner tonight."

"You think your food is better than restaurant's? How arrogant," Ada mocked him.

Leon open up the car passenger door for her, "Come on, miss I'm so cool that I prefer to eat restaurant food than the food that's specially prepared for me."

Despite Ada's mockery they really ended up went to the grocery so he could cook the dinner. While he's cooking Ada sat on the kitchen counter, inspecting him thoroughly.

"Letting the man to cook your food, while you do nothing to help and sit on the counter instead. Yet, you call yourself a woman?"

"Shut up." Ada pouted.

He chuckled at her expression. If he had his camera next to him, he would totally eternalize that pout in the form of image. Too bad~. After he put the dish in the oven and set the timer he sat next to her.

"Why me?"

Ada looks puzzled by his sudden question.

"Why do you ask me to accompany you? Why me?" He repeated.

Ada sighed and throw her gaze to the ceiling.

"Because I know you would say yes."

He realized that Ada is right. Even before Ada explained what she needs him to do, the answer is already there and it's a yes. It's like Leon is hooked. He's hooked by a raven haired girl called Ada. It's not because she's a way for him to run away from his problem, it's not because a simple curiosity over the mysterious enigma.

He had fallen is a wrong way to put it. He's falling. Leon Kennedy is falling for Ada Wong. Just like those stupid bunch who she had already rejected. He'd do anything that she want him to without hesitation. She had become his priority, his goals.

"How unfair." He mumbled, Ada eyes goes back to his. Leon couldn't help but to laugh. She knew it all along, probably long before he realized.

"You know how I feel about you, yet never speaks a single thing about it. Instead you asked me to be accompany you to a gala and take me to the place that I really hates. That's unfair."

He looked at the girl besides him, Ada gave him a bitter smile. Her long eyelashes fluttered. It took quite sometimes until she finally speak.

"I also hate this city." Her voice were so soft that if he wasn't paying attention he'd think that she was only humming.

With how close their faces are, Leon could see how her eyes reflected the light of the kitchen, how the colours gradually change from hazel to darker brown until it became a pure black in the middle. The faint sweet scent of perfume touched his nose.

All that he could think of is how much he wanted to touch her and this time he doesn't refrain himself. Slowly he pull up his hand and trailed his fingers along her jawline before caressing her cheek, the short dark hair of hers slightly brushed his hand.

Leon leans in, with his head slightly tilted and close his eyes.

As if this was something that they've already rehearsed their lips met perfectly. Ada Wong lips tasted like strawberry. His stomach tingled and it feels like his lips is melting from touching hers. It feels like the time has completely frozen with the world comes to a halt. Ada let out a cute whimper and he could feel the corner of her lips turned upwards.

When they broke apart what was felt like eternity suddenly felt like nothing. He want more. No, want is not the appropriate word for that. He need more. He cupped her face with both of his hand and leans forward for another. This time their nose bumped awkwardly. Ada chuckled and tilted her head before complying with his request.

Again their lips met perfectly.

Suddenly, Ada pushed away as if she'd been burned. She slide down from the counter.

"That wasn't right. Sorry." Her voice slightly cracks.

Leon could see the look of remorse painted all over her face. He was really puzzled that he doesn't even have a chance to ask why before she walks away.

XOXOXOXOXOX

This one totally took really long time to be done. I'm really really sorry for that, making such a cliffhanger and left you hanging for soo long. Please don't hit me!

Actually I started to write this chapter as soon as I finished the last one, but I kept re-writing it over and over again because I don't feel satisfied with the outcome. TBH, I'm still not satisfied with this one.

Let me examine my own work, I think the pacing of this chapter is confusing and yep there's another time skip and I really did exclude the scene where Ada explain the favour to Leon. Why? Because I did try to make this chapter continuing straight from the last one but somehow I don't think it works, and it ended up like a filler chapter which I think is already too many.

Oh yeah I didn't re-checked this chapter properly before posting it, soo if you find any error tell me, okay?

Don't hesitate to let me know what you think of this chapters. As usual, thank you for sticking with me and this story. Follow/fav, you know what to do…
