All of the keep was raided, the kitchen is secured. The company is ready for the battle to come. Nasorz plan was more beneficial than anyone thought, after the preparations were done they all talked. Mae wasn't a merchant, but the guard. Her mother was the merchant, they were on their way to Falkreath when they were attacked. They survived so long due to Nasorz, the bandits feared him and when he left the bandits they did as they want. So they killed the mother.

Lydia explained why they went through Helgen and where they are going. The orc said it was just dumb luck. Mirncine laughed, it was easy to tell she was keeping strong. When everything got quiet the only noise heard was Arilid snoring. Which earned some laughs from the men, mostly J'zargo who would make jokes of him believing there was a sleeping bear in the room. Most of them kept on like this, Nasorz stayed near the back entrance ready for any bandit to come. This was part of the plan, make themselves heard. They are ready, they have all the bandits' food and coin, so unless they want to eat the honest way, they will come and fight.


Many footsteps echoed through the halls. The bandits have enough courage to attack, but it seems they are too late. Nasorz gave the order and the company scrambled to their post. Nasorz took the main entrance, which led to the back of the cave, Lydia took the front, Ralof and Ria were supporting along with J'zargo staying in the back. Nasorz had Mae who hid in the shadows with a sword, poison potions and a bow. Brelyna with a frost atronach on the front lines and Onmund with chain lighting for either side.

The first bandit came in, Nasorz put a quick end to him. Another came and the atronach crushed every bone in his body. This process continued for a while, any that slipped through were stabbed by a being in the shadows. Brelyna shot a firebolt spell at lone bandits and Onmund used chain lighting on the larger groups.

The other side had few bandits, unlike the other side bandits would enter and often run away and drop their weapons when they hear the screams of pain of other bandits. Lydia and Ralof let them run away, if they did attack Lydia will break their necks with a shield bash and Ralof would hack at their arteries. J'zargo will often shoot bolts of lighting at the bandits and firebolts as well. If any got close or a large group came frostbite and ice spike spells would put them in their place. Ria used the barrels to her advantage and shot arrow after arrow at bandits with light armor, no helm, magic user or paralyzed by J'zargo. The bandits would pass her and be hit by ice spike or frostbite, followed by a sword in their back.

The battle drought on and on. Then soon no bandits came from the entrance. "The cowards flee, we have won!" Nasorz announced. The company stared at the battle field, dead bandits could be found around the entrance


Lydia went to Arilid once more. Good much of his injuries were healed thanks to J'zargo. "So this is the snorer." Mirncine looked over the table that protected him from loose arrows.

"Yes this is him." Lydia said checking him over for any injuries that need to be healed over again.

"You seem to be protective of him." Mae said a bit of amusement in her voice.

"He is my thane, I am his sword and his shield," Lydia said quietly "I should have been the one to sustain these injuries."

Mae grew quiet. "You are a kind woman Lydia, don't let this beat you up."

Lydia stayed quiet, "What will you do now?"

"I was hoping you would ask." Mae cheered up a little, "I owe you a favor, you saved my life, so I guess I will join your company."

Lydia was surprised, "Arilid is the one in charge, you will have to talk to him." Lydia looked back at her thane "that is when he wakes up."
