So yeah... It's very late, but what can I say? Life happened. Something particular happened and if I get confirmation would be a funny joke but... Anyways getting carried away. Sorry it's short but... Well it's better than nothing right? And the chaos that is happening is just going to get worse so yay!

Ever since I could remember

Hardison would like to say he was a pretty open minded person. Watching all the syfy shows he did and the science that inspired those shows, he could say he grew up in the child's fantasy of liking to believe the outrageous things he saw. Eventually he knew what the real world was like, the sad truth that lead him to becoming a criminal. How there was no superhero going to pay for his nana's medical bills, no dragon to fight off and magically fix his problems, there was just him. So he became his own hero, and his nana's. It's not like the bank of Iceland couldn't give back a little anyways. However, while slowly trudging behind Nate and Sophie, his mind was in overdrive. Everything he carved out into belief and non-belief, was suddenly scrambled. All the monster movies he watched as a kid were suddenly starting to become real. All this happening because Parker couldn't leave Eliot alone. Hardison almost ran into Sophie as his thoughts wandered to the thief. When he saw Eliot treating Parker his heart stopped in fear of losing his lovable, spunky thief. He knew Parker would be okay, but this whole predicament had shook everyone up. Hardison became lost in his thoughts as he followed Nate and Sophie down the hall into the room Eliot had told them. The two snipers were still there, seemingly still unconscious and unmoving. Nate slowly moved toward one as he pulled out the handcuffs he'd snatched from Lucille, also dressed in the FBI jacket Hardison had made. Sophie also moved forward, pulling out her own handcuffs for the other sniper. Hardison wasn't sure why he was even there, as his specialty was in all things behind the scenes. Moral support probably, though maybe more as backup as he saw the sniper Sophie was heading toward starting to rouse. Quickly taking a few strides over, Hardison made it just in time to push Sophie out of the way as the sniper went to grab the grifter. A strangled meep escaped the hacker's mouth as Hardison found himself suddenly in a chokehold, and he and the sniper were pulled back from Nate and Sophie. Hardison felt the world around him suddenly become swayed like a Picasso painting and his skin felt violated. His neck felt hot from were the sniper's forearm touched his neck. A pulsating heat seemed to travel from the sniper to him. Hardison felt his mind was dipped in acid and his brain was being rewired. His subconscious gave a laugh as he belatedly guessed what was happening. Funny, he didn't think he would ever live long enough to be mind controlled.
