The Darkness Within

Henry came running from Granny's when he heard the strange noises outside. "Mom? Are you ok? Where is Mom?!"

Regina looked at him sadly. "Henry, I don't know."

Henry looked at Killian and the Charmings. "So, we have no idea where she is?" David answered Henry first. "All we know, is we have to find Merlin."

Killian looked up. "That might be a problem, mate. He's a tree."

David stared at him.

"How do you know that?"

"Right now we have a bigger problem. We have to find Emma. Any ideas?" Regina glanced around at the Charming family minus Emma, plus Robin and Killian.

Killian started running.

"Where the hell are you going, pirate?" Regina yelled.

"To find Emma!" He called over his shoulder. Regina rolled her eyes. Sometimes he was so infuriating, never listening. She honestly had no idea what Emma saw in him.

He stood at the house that he caught Emma looking at in the newspaper. She seemed in love with the baby blue house. He climbed up the porch.

"EMMA!" Killian yelled from the door. She appeared beside him, dressed in all black with long, black hair in an elaborate braid.

"What the bloody hell Emma?"

She stared at him. "Who are you?" Killian stared at her, shocked. "Ah, I thought you were someone else." She obviously didn't believe him. "Then why are you at my house?" He stood speechless. "Ok, maybe I do know you."

"How? I've never seen you."

"That's not true. I uh, was in a group home with you. Remember?" He hoped that she hadn't changed too much.

She relaxed a little.

"No, I'm sorry. I didn't have any friends there though."

Killian chuckled nervously.

"I had a crush on you for a long time."

"Oh. Well, um..."

"I just wanted to see you again. I'll leave now."

She touched him, stopping him.

"Wait!"

He turned just in time to see something flash across her face. Recognition, he hoped.

"Wait, I do know you."

He smiled, and kissed her. Everything came rushing back. Henry coming to her door in Boston, meeting Captain Hook, her date with him, saying she loved him. She backed away, her eyes meeting his. "You found me!" She said happily. "I will always find you, love." She smiled at him quoting her father's line. "Really? Stealing David's line?" He opened up his mouth to reply, but he collapsed. "What the fuck?! Killian?!" He turned white and started shaking. Emma looked at her hair and saw how it was back to its normal color, and she was in her white sweater and dark jeans again. Killian gasped. "Hook! What's going on?! No!" She covered her mouth, knowing what she had done. With him kissing her, she had accidentally transported her darkness into him. The black vortex that had filled her with darkness went into Killian. "NO!" She yelled, and before it was too late, threw herself onto him. She took half of the darkness, he took the other half. As it filled her, she lost half her memories, and he lost half of his. New memories from a different life filled her head. An earthquake broke through Storbrooke. Emma and Killian blacked out. Ten minutes later, they woke up in her house, all they remembered was pain, and because of the pain, their first instinct was to hurt everyone in their path. All they cared about was hating everyone, and loving each other. Mr. and Mrs. Jones were ready for revenge on the ones who they thought wronged them.
