Description: From the moment she knew she loved him, she knew he would be her only love.

Gina was ten years old when she started to take an interest in Lucas that was more than platonic. Even at a young age, he had a charm about him that most boys simply lacked.

If you asked Gina now what made her develop feelings for Lucas in the first place, she wouldn't be able to give you a simple answer-there are far too many reasons for her to list. Each day, she swears he does things that she just has to add to her "Reasons I love Lucas" list, and they make her love him a little more each time.

Though she tries repeatedly to tell him about her feelings for him, she can never quite get the words right. She dedicates many an evening to practicing the moment when she will eventually confess her feelings.

Her parents think it is just a crush, that she will grow out of it eventually. They think she will move on and develop crushes on other boys. But Gina knows differently. To her, none of the other boys could ever compare to Lucas. They could never match his charisma, wit and kindness.

From the moment she laid eyes on him, aged five when she first arrived in Venture Falls with her family, she had known there was something special about him. After that, all she wanted was to get to know him better.

She can remember the first conversion they had as though it was yesterday. He had asked her to pass him a piece of paper and politely asked how she was finding Venture Falls. She obliged and told him that she thought it was great and everyone was being nice to her- if you count people totally ignoring you as nice. He started laughing and said that he liked her honesty. Gina joined in with his laughter, pleased she had found a potential friend. He then told her that if anyone gave her any trouble, she could talk to him about it, something that pleased her greatly.

It didn't take her long, from the moment she knew she loved him, to realize he was the only one she would ever love. He was everything she wanted in a guy and she longed for him to feel the same way.

Several years later, on their wedding day, he takes her by surprise with his vows. "There have been times when I've heard you say that I'm the only one for you. This is a time of many when you will hear me say, with all my heart, that you are the only one for me." At this stage, pretty much everyone in the congregation had started crying. The priest himself had to wipe tears from his eyes when he finally pronounced them husband and wife.

They both knew that they would be the only ones for each other for all the years to come and they hoped the years they spent together would be many.
