Description: Perhaps she was so open with him because she trusted him even more than she trusted herself.
She's not entirely sure why she tells him. It just came out in the heat of the moment. He just looks at her, eyes wide, and she feels like she has just ruined everything.
A few seconds pass by. When she feels his arm around her, the dam breaks down and she finds herself telling him everything, letting loose about her hopes, fears and dreams. All the while, he stays uncharacteristically silent, holding her in his arms in an attempt to comfort her.
She wonders out loud why she just admitted everything to him. His answer is probably the wisest thing she has ever heard him say. He points out that they are very similar in personality so opening up to him was basically a form of admitting everything to herself.
Perhaps this is the reason she chose to open up to him, why he remains the only person to know about her claustrophobia, why he now knows everything about her- she trusts him more than she does herself.
She doesn't know what he might do with the information she has given him. She has always kept her guard but, around him, she no longer has a shield to protect her.
He seemingly senses her anxiety , though, because he then tells that all he plans on doing is helping her fulfill her hopes and dreams whilst allowing to conquer her fears.
She manages to smile through her tears, seeing how dedicated he is to the task, and admits one last thing. She tells him she loves him, even more so because of everything he is doing for her.
He doesn't react at first, and she worries that she may have opened up too much. Then all of a sudden, he opens up, telling her everything. When he finally finishes, the last thing he admits is that he feels the same way.
Right then and there, they make a pact that even if they aren't open with anyone else, they would always be the most open with each other.
They understood each other because it was like understanding themselves which was why they found it easier to open up to each other than to other people.
As far as they were concerned, as long as they were open with each other, nothing else mattered.
