Chapter 13 (Watched Footloose 2012 version)
" Sure. We can take it together." Rosalie was radiating pure bliss. They walk to upstairs and we did the same. Rosalie finally got her wish. I hope the scientists who made her don't come and look for her. They will most likely be killed. No one likes child abuse but Rosalie goes nuts. Discipline and hitting your kid for no reason are to different things.
Rosalie's Point of View
I was so excited to finally have my dream come true. After Moka and I showered I put her in one of my small tanktops. It looked like a dress on her but still cute. It said 'Fear Me'. I laid her to bed then read her one of Aiden's old books to lull her to sleep.
After she fell asleep I went downstaris to get more information on Moka. I hoped she would be alright sleeping alone for a bit.
" Do you know anything else about her that would be of value." I asked hoping that they did. Edward had an amused look on his face.
" Wanna know the reason she ranaway ?" He asked as if he was trying to hold back laughter. I felt Emmett grad my forearm as if to keep me calm.
" Her best friend died." He said smothering his laughter.
" What the hell is so funny about that ?" I yelled at him.
" He was a Great White Shark!" Edward said the last word slightly lower than the others. I literally felt my jaw drop along with Emmett's.
" Shaark as in rows of sharp teeth and eat everthing in their path type of shark?" I asked questionly.
" Yea. Ask her about her powers but don't push it. In the place she was raisied punished her every time she used them so be gently." He says with all traces of laughter gone.
Edward's Point of View
After all that happened Alice decied to cancel the party much to her regret. Bella was so devasted.(sarcasm) While I was speaking with Rosalie Bella had went off to give Aiden his bath and get ready for bed.
" I'm going to go and check up on Aiden and Bella." I say while turning to walk away I caught a glimpse of Moka's dream and gasped in horror. That poor little girl.
" Rosalie" I say quickly.
" What is it Edward? " She asked confused.
" Run up to Moka's room she is having a horrible nightmare." I say still in shock from what expriement they did to her. I am just glad we found her when we did.
I walked up to Aiden's room to check in on him and he was sleeping soundly. I walk over to the room I shared with Bella, put on my pajama pants Alice insisted on buying and laid down next to her. She admittly rolls over and curls into my side. I staart to hum her lullby.
Bella's Point of View
I woke with my face in Edward's chest and my arms wrapped around him. I hugged him to let him know I was awake even though i'm pretty sure he already knew. I got up after contemplating if it was worth it or not. Edward and I showered togather. After we got out I brushed my hair and teeth and Edward did his hair. We got dressed and decided to let Aiden wake up on his own. No need for anyone to be cranky early on an Saturday. We walked into the kitchen to see Rosalie making oatmeal with a very sleepy Moka. We walk out so we don't disturbed the to.
Rosalie's Point of View
After I calm Moka down from her nightmare I actually looked at her apperance. She had straight white hair. I mean like paper white and she had bright blue eyes. I stared at them until she closed them for more sleep. I hummed a nameless tune to help keep her horrible memories away.
" Want me to go out and buy her some clothes so we can take her out shopping tomorrow." Emmett asked quietly as to not wake up Moka.
" That would be nice. Doubt she has ever been." I say sadly while stroking her hair. I wonder what monster could do this to a little girl. Created in a lab or not.
Emmett left and I laid down next to her and she curled into me and relaxed a bit. around 7h30 she woke up. She made a fist with her tiny hand and rubbed her eyes and yawned. I eard her stomach grumble and I wondered when was the last time she was fed.
" Moka, sweetie, when was the last time you ate something." I asked her calmly so to not scare her.
" I don't know. It was about 3 days ago maybe more. I used my power to talk to Bruce. I got caught. They were mean and threw me in my cage without food." Moka says sadly probably sad because Bruce. She started to cry.
" I miss him." She wailed into my shoulder.
" It will be alright. Just know that he won't be hurt anymore." I said while drying her eyes. " I bet you're hungry. Ever had oatmeal?" I hoped they at least fed her some decent food when they did.
" No, they gave me some weird gray mash." She suddered at the memory. I picked her up and placed her on my hip to walk downstairs. She mindlessly played with my hair as we made our into the kitchen. I made her a bowl of original oatmeal with milk, sugar and a bit of cinnamon. I put her in a booster seat and went to get her some apple juicie in a sippy cup. Emmett came down to get Moka to like him.
" Hey Rosie, Moka" He exclaimed happily. He kissed my cheek. He leaned down to Moka's level and looked her in the eyes with a straight face. She wasn't sure what to do. She stood in her chair and started to reach behind herself for me. I knew she was scared of him beccause of his size. Then he pulls out a little turtle in a pet carrier for aquatic animal.
" Mommy can I have it? " I hear her ask in a whispered to me
" You have to ask him. I am married to him so he is your daddy." I say with a smile on face because she called me mommy. She turned to him and asked,
" What is a daddy?" She was seriously confused about that.
" A daddy is a male who protects the girls in his family and...uhhhh makes sure the little girl is always happy and never goes on a date." Emmett says to her with a goofy smile.
" Oh. Can I have the turtle...daddy?" She asked reaching for it. " He does like the cage and he is hungry." I stare at her.
" Sweetie can you speak with animals." Emmett asked.
" Not all just the one in water. Eddie said that here we could use our powers when ever we want as long as no one got hurt. I'm not gonna get hurt am I? I won't do it again! I promise." She said t hen started to cry near the end.
" No never no one will ever hurt you again." Emmett vowed to her. After she calmed down we took Jerry the turtle out and gave it some lettuce and she finished her breakfast. We went upstair and got dressed for the mall but since Moka didn't have anything we borrowed some of Aiden's less boyish clothes and went to the cars. Edward, Bella and Aiden tagged along because Aiden was growing out of his clothes too. This was gonna be fun. Maybe.
