Chapter 14 (Watched Scooby-Doo! Mystery, Inc)

" No never no one will ever hurt you again." Emmett vowed to her. After she calmed down we took Jerry the turtle out and gave it some lettuce and she finished her breakfast. We went upstair and got dressed for the mall but since Moka didn't have anything we borrowed some of Aiden's less boyish clothes and went to the cars. Edward, Bella and Aiden tagged along because Aiden was growing out of his clothes too. This was gonna be fun. Maybe.

Rosalie's Point of View

Emmett, Moka and I went in my BMW m3 after we put the carseat in the back. Moka had never seen a car like mine and she didn't want to get in because she thought it was pretty.

" Do I have get in, Mommy? I like your cwar (car)." She said staring at her reflection in the car.

" Yes sweety. When we get back you can look at it when we get back." I said sweetly. She looked a bit sad with that but complied. I buckled her in and we were off. Bella, Edward and Aiden took his Volvo. We reached the the mall in Seattle an hour later. Moka looked out the window and gasped.

" It's so big. Ohh! Mommy look. Other pretty cars to." She pointed them out excitedly. She was bouncing up and down in her carseat. It was adorable. We meet up with Edward, Bella and Aiden at the front. We shopped for hours until our mutants were hungry. Moka still wasn't used to being able to eat when or what she felt like it. It only made me hate those people even more. Bella chose to eat at Chik-fil-a. The kids got the kid's meal. Bella decided to go up and get a chocolate milkshake for her to share with Aiden.

" What's that Mommy?" Moka asked me

" It's a milkshake." I told her. Bella grabbed a spoon and scooped some in it before handing it to Emmett. He looked puzzled

" Feed it to her idiot" Bella whispered to him.

" Hey Moka. Here taste it." Emmett said holding the spoon close to her mouth. She leaned forward to smell it. Then she tasted it. A smile spread across her face. She squealed and launched herself into his lap. She was small enough to stand in his lap to be eye to eye with him. She was bouncing up and down while Emmett had his hands close to her case she slipped.

" Daddy! Daddy! Can I have one? Please." Emmett was happy she jumped in his lapped and actually talked to him without any fear.

" Why would I say no? You can have whatever you want." He told her without hesitation. With her sitting in the crook of his elbow the headed to the kiosk. I watched them happily.

"After this we should go to Toys R Us. Neither Aiden nor Moka have ever been there." I suggested. I really wanted to get her some toy cars.

" Good idea Rose. Aiden with love it." Edward said looking at Aiden. He was enjoying the rest of the milkshake. Emmett and Moka were on there way back and Moka already had chocolate on her face. Guest someone forgot toddlers can't use spoons correctly. Edward had a straw in hands holding it out for me. They sat down and Moka kept on eating her cold creamy treat. I tried to give her the straw and take the spoon to stop her from creating a bigger mess. She all but cried.

" No! Mommy I want it please." She started to actually cry. Then it clicked. She thought I was taking the ice cream away.

" Calm down sweetie. You can still eat it. You have the ice cream all over you." I tell her. She calmed after that. While she was calming I was wiping off her face. Then I stuck the straw in it and handed it to her. She was just as happy as before. We gathered our thing and headed to the cars.

" Daddy I have to go potty" I heard Aiden tell Edward. Bella handed him over to Edward and they headed to the bathroom. That reminded me I needed to potty train Moka. Those people never bothered to teach her to go to the bathroom. I mean really. What two year still needs to be in diapers.

" Emmett hand me Moka. I need to go change her." I say while making sure I have everything I need to do so.

" Moka, can daddy hold your milkshake while I change you?" I was really hoping she say yes

" I get it back wight (right)" She said holding the cup a little tighter.

" Of course. I bet your diaper is uncomfortable. So give the cup to daddy and when we get back he will give it back." I said hoping she would comply.

"Pwomise" She said skeptically

" Promise. Now come on." I said holding my hand out. She toddled over to to him and he knelt down.

" Guard this." She said deadly serious. It was hard not to laugh. We went into the bathroom and I changed her and freshened up a bit myself. Moka saw my lipstick and what I was doing with it and got excited when she saw what it did to my lips.

" Mommy I want some." She said excitedly. it made me wonder what she would be like in Toys R US. I wasn't about to put red lipstick on my little girl. I reached into my purse to get the light pink lip gloss and I put that on her. It just made her lips a bit shiny.

" Now I wook wike (look,like) you mommy. Let's go show daddy." She ran out the bathroom as fast as a baby could. When I got out I saw her and Emmett giggling.

We left the mall and headed to Toys R Us. Moka went wild when I showed her the car section. We got ten different cars. When we got to the check-out line Moka decided to run off. I assumed she went back to the toy car isle. I told Emmett to go her. He headed in that direction when

Emmett's Point of View

I saw someone carrying a big bag. I looked closely and saw movement. It smelled like Moka. I saw red. Someone was trying to take my little girl. They are going to die. I followed them out and I taped him on the shoulder. He turned around and smirk.

" What? Big guy." He says in a annoyed voice.

" .My. ." I snarled at him. He frowned

" Walk awa-" He never finished his sentence. I grabbed the bag and him by his neck.

" Striker will have her back. We will continue to use her for experiments. The torture is just part of the fun." He gurgled out. I snapped his after that and I went to the back to the bag. I opened it and Moka had a hand print on her face and she was tied up.

" Daddy!" She cried. I ripped off the rope and she cling to me. By this time all the others were coming out of the store and saw the body laying on the floor close to me. Luckily Edward explained and Bella out Aiden in the car while Edward got rid of the body. I thanked him and walked over to our car. Rose had all the stuff in the car and Moka heard her voice and lifted her head to see if was really her.

" Mommy they came back. Daddy saved me" She cried. We could see she wasn't letting me go for a while. I sat in the passenger side while Rose drove. On the the way home she fell asleep on me. Her hold on me didn't loosen. We got home and her being a mutant made her stronger than the average toddler. We settled for her just sleeping on my chest. I just revelled in this unconventional father/daughter time.
