Chapter 15 (Strangers by: Skrillex)
" Mommy they came back. Daddy saved me" She cried. We could see she wasn't letting me go for a while. I sat in the passenger side while Rose drove. On the the way home she fell asleep on me. Her hold on me didn't loosen. We got home and her being a mutant made her stronger than the average toddler. We settled for her just sleeping on my chest. I just revelled in this unconventional father/daughter time.
Emmett's Point of View
Days after the attack on Moka she still refused to let me go. It was nice to have Moka not be afraid of me anymore. We got to send a lot of time together doing anything we pleased. We play dress-up, much to my displeasure. All the guys decided to take pictures of me. They were pretty surprised when Moka and I struck poises. We were fierce as Alice told me. Now Moka says it all the time and at random things that don't even match the phrase. She was too cute. Even though it was nice I did not want her completely afraid of other people. Today Rosie and I were taking her out just to show her outing aren't all that bad.
" Come on Moka, you to get dressed. We are going out today." I say trying to get her to comply.
"No. I don't wanna." She said. She was still scared from the other day.
" It will be fun." I say singing.
"No! Outside is bad. I don't like." She yells and scurries under the bed. Rose is laughing behind me.
" This isn't funny. A little help please!?" I whined. I felt like a little kid too.
" Moka, come here honey. I have a surprise. " Rosie says with a smirk on her face.
" That is not gonna..." Moka runs out from under the bed looking up at Rose. " No fucking way.'' I whispered under my breathe.
Rosalie's Point of View
After I got Moka out from under the bed I explained to her that her daddy would not let anyone hurt her. She seemed convinced enough. We bathe and I put on a bit then I got her dressed.
I went downstairs to fix Moka some breakfast and figure out what we should do for today. She ate and the best idea popped into my head. Moka was going to love it. She finished her breakfast and I washed the dishes. We took my BMW and Emmett put her in her carseat and I hopped in the driver's seat with a huge smile on my face. With that we headed out.
Bella's Point of View
Em, Rose and Moka weren't here so I guess they left. I went to talk the Professor because the attacks from Skriker were getting rash. He wouldn't send so many hit men for one little girl.
" Professeur I think Skriker is getting a bit desperate. He sent way to many man Moka." I said.
"Indeed so. There have also been several attacks on some other of my students. We need to start preparing for an attack that is sure to come." He tells me.
" What about the people in Town? Do we tell them or what?" I say frantically.
" I don't know yet. Let's call a meeting and settle this." He says while wheeling to the front room. He closes his eyes and called everyone to the front room via mind link. Soon the room was filled with everyone in the house.
" Calm down everyone. We have a very serious matter to discuss. Skriker may be planning an attack on us. We need to prepare for a possible attack." He tells everyone.
" What about the people in Forks?" A concerned Esme asked.
" They will be quite alright. We will get everyone done in the bunker below and have a few mutants guarding them." The Professor tells everyone.
Some look a bit skeptical about having the humans who hate them in their own home but knew it was for the best.
" We would also teach them some ways to defend themselves if needed." Storm tells everyone.
" Yes, good idea. Now everyone to the danger rooms. We need to start now. We will make the announcement at a school assembly and the children can go home and tell their parents." The Professor says lastly before wheeling out of the room.
"Edward we should call Emmett and Rose. Just to tell them to be alert."
Rosalie Point of View
We ended up going to an aquarium and Moka looked stunned. At first she was sad because she thought they were locked up but after talking to a few of them, with our reassurance she was happy to look at them.
We saw amazing things and some I haven't even seen. We sat down for lunch and I went to go get Moka some food. While I was in line my cell rang and it was Edward.
"Hello." I say in monotone voice. He was ruining our fun.
" Rose. You need to get home." He said frantically.
"Okay. Be there soon." I say while grabbing Moka's food do she could eat in the car. I tell Emmett at vampire speed so Moka won't worry.
" Kay, Honey it's time to go." I say in a false cheerful voice.
"Why mommy? I like it here." Her eyes started to water.
" Don't worry Moka. It's just time to go home. We can come back another time but now it;s time to go." I tell her but at the end in a no nonsense voice so she won't argue. I won't have a spoilt kid.
We get in the car and head back home. Mok was eating and eventually fell asleep. She fell asleep on the way home and it was cute. When we got home I could sense shit was about to go down.
