Chapter 19 (Watched: Naruto)

The rest of us were doing some last minute training and when all preparations were done everyone was with loved one cherishing the last peaceful hours they had.

Bella's Point of View

The parents said a final goodnight to their kids with some tears from both parties. The children were down in their bunker and sound asleep while we waited for Magneto. Everyone was on edge and scared. Alice came running in the room where we were. She looked frazzled. That was not a good sign.

"Guys they are 5 minutes and 47 seconds away. Remember to help stay in your groups and do not let your guard down. They are not going to go easy. Aro will come about 50 minutes after the battle starts." Alice tells everyone.

"Let's go outside and get to your designated area. This is what we all have trained and prepared for. Your children will be safe no matter what the outcome of this fight could be." I tell them. We were outside and ready for Magneto. We could see them approaching us rapidly. This was it.

Third Person Point of View

Magneto's group was ruthless. They only went for the kill. He did not care if any of his followers lived or died. All Magneto wanted was power and he thought fear and oppression was the way to obtain that power. Mystique was leading a small group of rather weak mutants. She looked depressed like her heart was not and like she wanted this all to end.

Charles saw her, the girl he grew up with and thought of as a sister, and linked his mind to her mind. He hoped that Magneto did not make them immune to his telekinesis. He places his two fingers to his head and focuses on her.

"Mystique you were manipulated and I understand you thought you were doing good. Magneto knows how to get people to do what he wants them to." Charles tells her. Mystique focused on the word person. Magneto always referred to all his followers as mutants. He made sure that they felt like they would never be accepted into the general population.

"Yes child, regardless of what you look like or what you can do you are a person. A person who deserves to be acknowledge and respected. Not feared and hated I want you to come back and be my sister again." Charles tells her. She tells her team she is no longer going to fight for Magneto and they should do the same. Mystique runs to Charles and hugs him. She cried and apologizes over and over. Charles just comforts her. He does not want to but they were in the middle of a war so….

"Listen I know how you are feeling right now but after this fight, we will discuss this further. I want you to go to any of the mutants that are working with Magneto and tell them they can still join us if they do not want a world where they are fear not respected.

The fighting continues for hours and more mutants decided to join Charles' side. The humans were getting tired but they were not giving up. Soon Aro showed his face and all fighting ceased. The Cullens and their vampire friends stepped forward.

"Children what is the fighting about? We can rule over the pathetic humans as one." Aro says as if he really wanted to rule with mutants.

"Aro, we will not enslave humans. It is a bit acratic don't you think. I thought you vampires were better than that." Bella tells him. Bella could see the emotions cross Aro's face. He was not pleased with what was going on around him. He wanted power and other people stronger than him did not want him to have that power. His arrogance and ego did not allow him to turn around and let his idiotic plan go.

"Wait, Let me show you something Aro." Alice says. She did want the fighting to escalate.

"No, I do not need your petty vision to tell me you all die here." Aro spat. It was clear he was not going to listen to any reason. Aro sent the order and his men charges to fight.

It was bloody and limbs were flying everywhere. Magneto's mutants were dropping very quickly and Charles' fighter only lost a few of the human and mutants. Bella and Emmett's team headed for Aro to rip off his head and burn the body.

Aro tried to pled and beg for his life in the end but it was fruitless they knew he would always be in love with power and power mad. Aro's men dropped very soon after Aro. Charles and Mystique took care of Erik. The ending of Erik's life took a toll on Charles because they were dear friends even if Erik paralyzed him from the waist down.

The mutants who did not want to join with Charles were put in jail made by mutants and only had mutant workers so none of them would be experimented upon. They might be criminal but they still deserved their basic rights.

After the battle, Carlisle and Esme brought the children out to their families and the mothers and fathers ran to their children hugging them. There were plenty of tears and plenty of shouts of happiness. The ones who lost a family member or a loved one were pulled inside because the bodies were not suitable for them to look at. Storm identified and organized the funerals for the families to save them that grief. The bodies that were too mutilated were cremated before the families could see them. They were offered counseling if they wanted it and Storm told them if they ever needed help to come back to the mansion.

Wounds were treated and vampires reattached limps that got disconnected. The humans went home while the vampires and mutants cleaned the front lawn. When they finished with the yard everyone went into the house, to their rooms, to shower and then to make dinner. Dinner was not a big event. Everyone was just reflecting on how lucky they were. Before he went to sleep Charles did one last check on the prisoners.
