Haruhi's POV:

As we walked toward the twins' limo (it was incoveniently long and I can't understand how it can turn around corner streets), Honey-sempai said, "It was fun, ne? Ne, Mori?" We all answered him with nods and agreeable "Yes!"

I walked up to Kyoya-sempai and asked him, "Do you think Haruno-san will cooperate with us next week?" The others quieted down to listen to what the smartest in the host club would say. Not surprisingly, Tamaki-sempai was the first one to answer instead of Kyoya-sempai. He started with a dramatic pose, sparkles twinkling behind him with a bright colored background. "Ah, Haruhi, Haruhi. . . It was obivous by the way she bid us goodbye earlier. She must be feeling closer to us now! Ohohoho!"

I sweat-dropped. 'She probably just didn't want to look rude,' I thought reasonably. I opened my mouth to ask another question when Kyoya-sempai spoke through Tamaki-sempai's much-too-dramatic 'Ohohoho'-ing. "She was certainly acting rather oddly, but not negatively. She would probably cooperate with us, especially since her grandfather told her so."

"Ooh! I remember!" Kaoru-kun said. "That Gramps said that we'd be taking care of her!" Hikaru-kun added. And together, they said, "Neh?"

We all said, "Oohh," in response. Except for Kyoya-sempai and Mori-sempai, of course.

"Here we are," Kyoya-sempai suddenly said, stopping in front of a car. I then noticed that we reached the Hitachiin limo. Our chauffeur stepped into view and bowed while asking formally, "How was your day?" Immediately, the twins, Tamaki-sempai, and Honey-sempai answered him with merry "We had so much fun!" The old man nodded understandingly with a crinkled smile and opened a door for us.

Once we were all seated inside and comfortable, the door closed and the chauffeur suddenly appeared in the driver's seat. "Let's go home, jiji," Hikaru-kun and Kaoru-kun said together. "Hai, bocchama," the old man replied respectfully. In no time, the engine was revved up and the car began to cruise out of the parking lot.

"We should get Haruhi home first!" Tamaki-sempai exclaimed with a fist pump. The others agreed and with that, the chauffeur drove towards my house. The old, normal, non-mansion apartment. But while we rode in the car, the boys and I played a lot of games, some of which I had to force them to stop because it felt like they were just playing it to tease me.

As we were playing a game, a thought suddenly came to me. I turned to Tamaki-sempai and asked him boldly, "What kind of host do you think Haruno-san would be like?" And all became quiet. I tilted my head a little and tried to think.

"Hmm? Is that such a mystery? Of course, Haruno-san is the handsome but oblivious type!" Tamaki-sempai declared proudly. We all raised a brow at him. "Really? Haruno-san's aura felt like," Hikaru-kun started and shared a look with his brother. "A warm and cold type," Kaoru-kun ended. "In other words. . . ," the two of them paused for dramatic effect. "Tsundere~" they finished together, winking playfully. I just rolled my eyes.

"Ehh? I think she's the protective brotherly type if she's in her boy's uniform~" Honey-sempai's voice drawled out childishly. When he smiled, his lolishota aura glowed and imaginative and colorful cutesy flowers floated about him. My eyes turned to Kyoya-sempai who spoke, "Don't think too much about it. . . We can decide her type on Monday."

The twins shrugged and looked at each other with a bored expression, "Whatever. Neh?" Then two, mischievous grins, one the exact mirror-image of the other, appeared on their faces. I sweat-dropped again. 'These guys,' I thought with a shake of my head.

After that, more games ensued and I had to tell them that I won't play with them anymore if they keep on making me play games that involve money or gambling. 'Uugghh! I hate these rich kids! So reckless!' I thought irately.

Sakura's POV:

The van stopped in front of the Hyuuga estate's gate. I turned to Hinata and smiled at her while saying, "See you again, Hinata." She nodded her head with a sweet "Hai!" She turned to the others and bid them goodbye as well. Albeit a little shyly, she gave Deidara a wave as she and Neji stepped out of the van, with Neji noticing the act causing the boy to glare at my blonde cousin. I sweat-dropped and shook my head in slight amusement.

I opened the window beside me and waved at them. "Bye-bye, Hinata! Bye-bye, Neji-chan!" I shouted at them as the car drove away. Hinata and Neji waved but the latter was fast to put his hand back to his side. I saw the gate to the Hyuuga estate open and the two cousins walk in with a guard and two maids escorting them in. By then, I have already closed the window I was leaning through.

"Ah-aah, today was so fun, right, nee-chan?" I heard Naruto ask from behind me. I nodded enthusiastically. "Yeah! It was!" I answered the boy. Then, suddenly I noticed Sai sliding over the headrest to get to Itachi and my row seat. I immediately supported him, giving him a little sisterly scolding. "Mou. . . . Sai-chan. Don't do that when the car is moving, okay? If Rei-san suddenly hits brake, you'll hurt yourself from the impact!"

I hugged my little Sai and sat him on my lap. He pouted during my scolding but he was finally resting, his eyes are now closed and his body is leaning on me. I huffed but a smile reached my face. I resumed to staring at the window. That is, until Inner decided to suggest a fantastic idea.

How about we squeeze answers from Deidara about his date with Hinata? Sakura! I want to know what happened!

Nice idea, Inner. . . What should we ask him first?

Inside my head, I imagined Inner taking on a thinking pose. Imaginary humming rumbling around my head. I waited, also trying to think of something to ask the guy.

Hmm. . . Then, how about asking him if he's done first base. . .

My eyes widened! But they sparkled with mishcief.

If he hasn't reached first base, yet?

Inner grinned maniacally. We'll let Itachi know once he wakes up. I grinned outwardly, making 'Kukuku' sounds at the same time. I could feel my eye glinting with evilness.

Itachi loves teasing Deidara about his weaknesses, one of them obviously is that he hasn't ever gotten close to first base with any of his previous girlfriends (yes, I know. I don't know how Deidara could have even one girlfriend in the first place and not give her any kisses). I heard once from Itachi that Deidara couldn't even hold hands with any of his girlfriends. That was the funniest thing I have ever heard in my life back then. I mean, Deidara is good looking, sure. But to think that Deidara, who's always been so impulsive, couldn't get himself to kiss, heck, even hold hands with a girlfriend (not that I think Deidara had asked Hinata out or anything)? Seriously.

I leaned forward, careful not to make little Sai uncomfortable on my lap, and asked Deidara straightforwardly, "Have you gotten to first base?" At first, Deidara didn't respond and at hearing my question, Rei-san almost lost control of the wheel. But instantly, even he regained control over the wheel and was driving the van safely, thank goodness.

I noticed Deidara become stiff and rigid in his seat. I smirked. I heard shuffling beside me and when I looked, I saw that Itachi woke up and was also leaning forward just like me. He had on a blank face but I know he's very amused. From the driver's seat, I heard Rei-san sigh but he didn't let out a word.

Seems like we don't need to wait for Itachi to wake up.

"So? Did you? Oi, Deidara!" I prompted. After a few moments, instead of answering me, Deidara began to stutter out the worst excuses ever. "W-We were taken to the office," he began. "Office?" Itachi and I simultaneously echoed. "Y-yeah, office. . . Then, we were given food-" I stopped him there. "Food? But you're in the office. Since when did an office become a restuarant?"

Deidara flailed in his seat, obviously panicked. I sweat-dropped and shared a look with Itachi. "No! Not food! We were given. . . Umm. . . Ah! Stop staring!" It continued on like this the whole ride. So when we reached the Haruno mansion's gates, Deidara was sobbing in his seat about why he has to have us as relatives while Itachi and I were grinning (although Itachi's was more of a small smirk).

"We're here, young ones," Rei-san said as he stepped out of the car to open our doors. He opened Deidara's first and the next one was my door. We all stepped out and I hugged little Sai tighter in my arms to make sure he wouldn't fall, he fell asleep some time when I was forcing Deidara in telling me all about his date with Hinata. And at the speed of light (no, not really. . . ), Naruto and Sasuke raced up the stairs and through the opened doors, leaving us outside, staring with amusement.

I went immediately to the boy's room to tuck little Sai to bed. "See you in the dining room," I told my cousins before going upstairs.

I reached the boy's room in no time and opened the door. I crossed the room to little Sai's bed. There, I laid him on his back with slight difficulty as he kept a tight hold on me. But I successfully got him on the bed in the end, covering him with his blanket and placing his Sanbi plushie between his empty arms. They clutched the handmade toy and pulled it to its owner's chest, right under the blanket.

I patted little Sai's forehead and placed a kiss on it like always. "Oyasumi," I whispered. Sai didn't reply but I was fine with that. I turned and made sure that his nightlight was on because in times like these when one of the boys sleep earlier than the other two and I tuck them in by themselves, they need a nightlight to keep them calm. Children never do liked sleeping alone at Sai's age, even the twins are afraid of the dark.

I cautiously closed the door and made way to the kitchen where I saw maids starting to prepare dinner. When they saw me, they bowed in respect before going back to their work. "Is mother here yet?" I asked one of them. She turned and answered, "I'm sorry, milady. Maki-sama is not here yet." I nodded in thanks and she smiled.

I went out of the kitchen to head towards to-san's office. I knocked on his door. A little bit of silence. Then, to-san answered from inside, "Come in." I opened the door and peeked in to check is he had any guests. When I saw he had none and his attention was all on me, I stepped inside fully. He placed his elbows on his desk and folded his hands together. "What is it, Sakura?"

"Uhh. . . Is kaa-san going on another business trip? Because, she isn't here yet," I asked him uneasily. He nodded and thought about it before looking up at me with a calm facade. "She probably is, Sakura. But don't worry, I'm sure she'll be back by Sunday," he answered and showed a small, reassuring smile. I sighed. I nodded then went towards the door. "Thank you, to-san."

"You're welcome," I heard him say from behind me just before I could close the door.

So, kaa-san is still quite the busy person?

Yeah. . . And I thought she'd stay a few days longer. . .

But to-san did say that she'd come back the day after tomorrow. Don't you dare act wimpy, Sakura.

I glared inwardly at Inner and imagined her being kicked in the shin by my imaginary avatar leg. She glared back at me with full force. Then she smirked.

That's the Sakura I hate. . . Now, go to the kitchen and go commando over the maids!

I shook my head and let out a slight laugh as I walked across the living room and dining room then into the kitchen. To go 'commando' over the maids, as Inner decided to describe it. It was Curry Night and it's going to be spicy.

I put on an apron and began cooking. Water. A few sliced vegetables here. A sprinkle of spicy chili there. Don't forget the curry powder! After almost an hour, just before dinner time, we finished cooking and were ready to put them into plates.

"Call the whole family here," I told two maids. They bowed respectfully and went towards the rooms and around the house in search for the Haruno family members who are probably hungry right now. Even I am starting to feel hungry despite having eaten so many snacks earlier.

It's because of the curry.

No, duhh.

A few maids helped me set up the table and the moment we were about to bring the plates of curry into the dining room, my family entered as loudly as usual. First were the twins, then next were to-san and Grammpa Jiraiya. And then, Uncle Yamato. While I waited for Granny Tsunade and Uncle Kakashi to enter last, I noticed how long they were still not present. So, I decided to ask Grampa and Uncle Yamato.

"Where are Granny and Uncle Kakashi?" I asked them. All three adults shared a meaningful look at each other before turning their eyes on me, sending me happy smiles. But I don't buy it. The smiles were too happy. It means that they know something that will most likely make me upset.

The twins probably noticed the tense atmosphere and simultaneously sent worried looks at everyone, including me. "They're with your mother, Sakura," Uncle Yamato said flatly. "Oh," I softly said. "Are they in on the business, too?" I asked next. They all nodded, the too-happy smiles still present on their faces.

I sweatdropped but decided to let the matter go. Kaa-san and the others will come back anyways and that's what matters. That's when my cousins entered the dining room, breaking the tense atmosphere with their constant bickering.

All six of us watched the opposite duo fight, with Itachi full of his proud and cocky attitude and Deidara blushing fiercely, full of energy. And maybe for the thousandth or millionth time, I thought, 'They're just like Naruto and Sasuke.' I shook my head and laughed together with the others as we continued to watch the show while eating our meal.

Such an energetic family we have, eh, Sakura?

You've got that right.

Maybe it was because of my cousins bickering, my twins started arguing about something or other, too. After a while, I had enough. I banged on the table with such force, the sound of the impact of my hand on the table's surface echoed throughout the room and all eyes were on me, wide and surprised. Probably, apprehensive of my reigning temper. "If you don't let me finish my curry in peace, I will purposefully rip your throats out and feed it to the person beside them! And blood shall be spilled!"

I breathed in and exhaled slowly. I shot all males a harsh glare and sat back to finish my meal. "C-Calm down, Sakura-chan," Grampa Jiraiya said, holding hand up and flapping them at my way. I sighed.

"If you're upset that Maki and the others aren't here, do not bring it out during meals," came to-san's strict statement. I looked down and continued to eat, embarrassment knawing at my gut.

The whole meal, tinkling spoons and soft mumbling broke the quiet atmosphere. "I'm sorry," I suddenly said making everyone look at me. I shyly looked up at to-san and apologized again. Surprisingly, and most fortunately, the energetic vibe our dinner had earlier came back with full force. Starting with my brothers' loudness, then my cousins and Uncle Yamato reassuring me, and to-san and Gramps starting up a similarly loud conversation.

The meal ended a few minutes later when Rei-san came in holding a phone, saying, "Yamato-sama, someone is calling for you." Uncle wiped his mouth and pushed his chair back to stand up. "Alright," he said before turning to me. "It was a delicious curry you made, Sakura."

"Thank you, Uncle," I replied humbly. He tipped his head once then went to Rei-san's spot to take the phone from him. After that, the others and I stood up, calling the maids to clear out the table. "Good meal," was Itachi's cool and brisk compliment. Deidara and the others agreed. I thanked them, too. As the family receded back to their rooms or to the places they were previously in earlier, I helped the maids clean up.

"Nee-chan! Let's watch a movie!" I heard Naruto call from the living room. "Just a minute!" I answered back from the kitchen. When I was done with my chore, I went to the living room as soon as I can so that the boys would stop being so noisy. "Okay, okay! Calm down, calm down, boys! Now, what do you guys want to watch?" I asked them as I took a seat on the sofa. The three boys sat around me. Naruto was on the ground between my feet and Sasuke and little Sai were sitting beside me on both sides.

"We wanted to watch Rio! The one about the bird!" It was little Sai who gave this information. I raised on eyebrow before taking the tv remote. "Are you guys sure?" I asked. They all nodded excitedly. I shrugged, "Alright. Let's see if it's on tonight," I mumbled, tunring on the tv. I changed channels until I found the one with the Rio movie premiere.

We watched silently, laughing at the comical parts and criticized the parts of the movie that only kids could think of criticizing. Like "His shirt's too red" or "She should've gone after him first!" and a few other things. Gramps joined us during the middle. And he was no different from my brothers, laughing like an old guy would, commenting on things that are really unnecessary to comment on, criticizing. Really no different.

The next day.

The events that occured today was no different from that of yesterday. Kaa-san, Uncle Kakashi, and Granny were still not here. To-san was in his office, doing something about business. Everyone was busy either with work or play. I'm busy with work. Homework to be exact. Add s to make it plural.

Since we indulged ourselves to fun in the amusement park, I had forgotten all school related labor. And with me are my brothers, who are doing their own homeworks, and cousins, who are here to help us finish it more quickly. I'm almost done with my assignments, no help needed.

I checked my seven year old brothers who were sitting on my bed only to see Naruto holding his head in agony and asking for Sasuke's help which isn't provided by the coolheaded twin. I rolled my eyes at this typical scene. While Sasuke could finish his homeworks in a flash (just like me, not to boast about it or anything. . . just a proud sister), his twin takes a lot more time on a simple question. But that doesn't truly mean Naruto's an idiot (even if he acts like an airhead most of the time which I don't really hate at all because it makes him quite cute and is, in fact, his charming point), he's just a slowlearner.

With them is Deidara and Itachi who decided to engage themselves in an argument of who is right or wrong, Deidara doubtlessly the one starting it, and left the twins on their own, one likely killing the only few brain cells he has left and the other one calmly writing his answers on a sheet of paper.

It seems you have to hurry up, Sakura. Naruto is about to get brain damage if we don't help him.

Yeah. . . I think so, too.

I turned back to my homework and picked up the pace. A few minutes later, I'm on the last problem when someone tugged at my sleeve. I looked down and saw Naruto, his eyes in tears and his lips quivering in a pout. "Nee-chaaaaannnn! HELP ME! I DON'T UNDERSTAND ANYTHING ANYMORE!" As he cried the words, he jumped into me with arms open for a hug. I automatically encased him in one.

Patting his back, I tried to calm him down. "Hai, hai. . . It's alright, it's alright. Nee-chan will help you with your homework. Right after I finish mine, okay?" I told him. He nodded, still hugging me tight. I smiled amusedly.

I let him go and told him to wait for me. He understood and went to Sai, who was playing in the corner, also waiting for me to help him with his own homework. After a few moments, I was able to finish my assignment, and closed my notebook and laid down my pencil.

It's hard to have arguing cousins all the time. I wonder how those two could have become best buddies?

I'm as wise as you are about this topic, Sakura. I don't know one bit.

Of course, you don't.

Was that supposed to be sarcasm?

Probably.

I didn't listen to Inner's voice after that because I tuned her out and immediately went to Naruto and little Sai's side. "Ah! Nee-chan! You're done with your homework?" Naruto asked, looking very expectant. I nodded, sitting down beside them.

"Then, help me with my homework?" little Sai pleaded. I chuckled and patted his head fondly. "Sure, Sai-chan. And don't pout, Naru-chan. . . I'll help you two at the same time. Now, get your things," I said. Instantly, Naruto stood up and ran over to the bed to get his pencil case and books.

I started on Sai's homework while we both waited. When Naruto came back to my side, I told him to open the pages of his homeworks and wait without looking at him. "Try this by yourself now, Sai-chan. Tell me if you're finished," I said. "Hai!" was little Sai's enthusiastic reply.

I then turned my attention on Naruto, asking, "Which one do you need my help on first?" And Naruto pointed to his English homework. I nodded in response. After a while, I found that Naruto wasn't able to understand his lesson and I had to reprimand him for probably sleeping in class, his fangirls most probably saving him from detention. Then, when I was sure I had a made my point accross, I started teaching him the lesson and the know-how.

I alternated between my two brothers, efficiently helping them finish their homework, although helping Naruto took a lot more time than with little Sai. "Thank you, nee-chan!" Little Sai hugged me tightly, rubbing his cheek on mine in a childish manner. "You're welcome Sai-chan. Now, keep your book and pencil case. . . You might forget," I told him. He obeyed.

After that, I turned to Naruto, who was now on his History homework. The only help he needs from me on this one is on finding the right answer for the question he doesn't understand. So, he's almost done as he isn't so airheaded that he doesn't know how to find his own answers when it's generously given to him in the form of a lesson chapter.

While I waited for him to finish so that I could check his answers, I called Sasuke over to see how he's done. He came immediately. I could see excitement in his eyes as he handed me his homework. I looked through his answers and was happy when I found no mistakes.

"Waahhh! So proud!" I exclaimed before engulfing him in a bear hug. I don't know what expression he has on his face but he was surprised, that's for sure. But I felt something odd from behind me so I turned to look. And there, glaring ferociously at Sasuke whose head was resting on my shoulder, was Naruto with a dark, foreboding aura hanging around him. I suddenly felt a little uneasy.

"Naru-chan? Umm. . . Naaaru-chaaan?" I called out to him in a cautious tone. But in that one moment, I found my arms empty of Sasuke and Naruto had disappeared like lightning. The only evidence that they weren't whisked away into a magical world was a loud roar of vengeance made by none other than Naruto. My body whished in its direction and, together with the other occupants of my room, watched the twins run around with Naruto chasing after Sasuke who had a smug smirk on his face.

I sighed. From the bed, Deidara and Itachi walked towards me, making sure not to collide with the twins furiously playing tag. When they reached me, they both said with straight faces at the same time, "Poor you/, yeah."

I sweat-dropped but I tried a smile. A smile that I'm sure wasn't a very good smile. "Y-yeah. . . Poor me?" I repeated, a little confused.

Aahh. . . Another eventful day.

Yeah.
