Chapter 13

It was in the middle of the night and Padme could not sleep all because she had this feeling that Anakin was not telling her something, and because of that it was making her mind run which was causing her not able to sleep.

Getting out of the bed she went out of the room and headed down the hallway to the guest room and knocked on the bedroom door.

Anakin woke up to the sound of a light taping on the door, he got out of bed and went to the door and let the person inside the room.

Padme jumped into Anakin's arms and he carried her further into the room, and not once did they break their kiss.

" Anakin please tell me what is bothering you, and before you say there is nothing, because I do know that you are hiding something from me." Padme pulled away from Anakin and looked up at him.

" Yes there is something that I do need to tell you, but I'm not sure how to tell you is all." Anakin turned away from Padme so that way she could not see his eyes change from blue to yellow.

" Just tell me Anakin." Padme demanded.

" Ok fine I will tell you, before I came here, I got a message from Palpatine. He told me that he knows that you are alive and that you have been on Naboo the whole time." Anakin turned back around to see the color drain from Padme's face.

" Ok my gods, um . . . how does he know that am still alive?" Padme went over to the bad and sat down on it.

" Well it appears that someone saw you leave the palace and head over to your parents' house, and there is more." Anakin went over to the bed and looked down at his wife.

" Oh no, and what more is there that you are not telling me Anakin." Padme had a frighten look on her face when she looked up at Anakin.

" He has order me to bring you back to Naboo, and to take you straight to him . . . Padme he wants me to kill you, and if I don't do it, then he will do it himself." Anakin took her hands in his and held them.

" Oh no, Ani what are we going to do, and so now you are going to take me to him right?" Padme looked up with tears in her eyes.

" No, I will not that bastard touch you, I am going to put you into hiding." Anakin got down on his knees in front of her and pulled her into his arms as she began to cry.

Twenty minutes later Padme pulled away from Anakin because she was all cried out.

" The only place I can think of going to is Delaya, it reminds me of Naboo, and I have only been there twice before, and I told Bail if I could get a summer place or a place away from Naboo, then it would be Delaya." Padme wiped away the last of her tears.

" Then it is settled we will go to Delaya, have you told Telayah that we are leaving tomorrow." Anakin stood up and took off his robe and hung it across the back of the chair.

" Yes and she is ready to leave with us. Well I better get going." Padme stood up and began to walk towards the door.

" Padme don't leave me, I want you to stay the night with me." Anakin reached out and gently grabbed Padme's right arm and turned her around towards him.

" Yes and you don't how long I have wanted to hear you ask me that question since you came back to me." Padme smiled at him.

Anakin pulled Padme into his arms and began kissing her as she took off her robe and let it fall to the floor.

Anakin picked Padme up and carried her over to the bed and gently laid her down on the bed.

" Anakin I don't think we should?" Padme started to tell him, but she realized that he just laid down on the bed next to her.

" Don't worry all I want to do is hold you." Anakin pulled the covers over them before pulling his wife into his arms and held her as he drifted off to sleep.

Padme could tell that Anakin was now asleep so she too closed her eyes and fell back to sleep.

" What is thy bidding my Master?" the Sith bent down on one knee in front of the Emperor.

" Ah yes my young Apprentice I have a job for you." Palpatine looked down at the young woman.

" What would you like for me to do my master." the red hair woman looked up to the Emperor.

" One of my spies have told me that he saw Lord Vader leave the cruiser in his private ship and it headed down to the planet of Tatooine." Palpatine made a fist as he thought about his right hand man is going against his wishes.

" I see and what would you like for me to do?" the young Sith asked.

" I want you to follow him to where ever he goes and to let me know when he leaves, and then I will give you your next assignment." Palpatine dismissed the woman.

" Yes Your Highness." the lady bowed her head before getting up and leaving the resort house.

Back on Tatooine

" It was so wonderful to have you here Padme, I just wish you and Telayah could stay a little longer." Shmi hugged Padme first then going over to the young lady and also giving her a hug too.

" Thank you for letting us staying here but we really do need to go because I don't want something bad to happen to you and your family if someone finds me here." Padme went over to Anakin and took a hold of his hand.

They said goodbye then Anakin led them up the bluff to where the ship was located at.

Once on board Anakin and Rex got the ship up into the air, and once they were far from the planet they went into hyperspace.

Padme got a huge surprise when they landed on Delaya because waiting for them was Obi-Wan, Sabe and the twins. But little did they all know that they were followed by the new Apprentice of the Emperor.
