Chapter 14
In the pre-dawn morning a figure stood just across the lake from the house that the figure's target was in.
" What do you have to report, Lady Mara." Palpatine answered his com-link.
" I have finally found, where Senator Amidala is hiding at, but not only is she in her new hide out, but it seems that there is a Jedi with her too." the Sith spy told her evil Master.
" I see, and have you seen Lord Vader?" Palpatine sneered when he said his old apprentice's name.
" No sir I have not seen him here yet, and it seems that he had left Tatooine and went off somewhere towards the Northern parts of the Outer Rim Territories." Mara told her Master.
" Well it seems that he is trying to cover something up, and as for this Jedi do your recognize him or her?" Palpatine rubbed his chin.
" Yes I believe that Vader is hiding something, and I believe the Jedi is Master Obi-Wan Kenobi." Mara saw movement from the side of the house, but it was only a deer like creature.
" Well, well it seems like he was one of the Jedi that have escaped the Order 66, but not for long. The only other Jedi that I really want is the Grand Jedi Master Yoda." Palpatine began to cough.
" We all would love to get our hands on that green little toad." Mara spit out with hatred.
" Patience young one, and you will get your chance to go look for him, but what I want you to do at the moment is keep your watch on the house and let me know if the Senator leaves the house or the planet." Palpatine said between coughs.
" Yes my Master." Mara said.
Palpatine cut the communication off due to the face that he could not breathe due to his coughing.
" Your time is coming soon Palpatine." Mara said turning away from the windows and headed for her bed.
Anakin woke up when he felt a small tremor in the Force.
Carefully moving Padme's arm from around his waist, then he gently got up from the bed and went over to the chair and grabbed his robe that was hanging from the back of it, putting it on before heading out of the room.
Walking down the long hallway, he was focusing on the tremor that he was feeling in the Force and was trying to figure out who it was.
All he could tell that it was a new presence and like him there was a mixture of good and evil.
Anakin walked into the living room and there was movement in a chair that caught his attention.
" Morning Anakin." Obi-Wan called out to him for the shadows.
" Oh morning Obi-Wan, what are you doing up?" Anakin came further into the room and sat down in the other chair.
" Well for starters this little guy was hungry and wet so I got up and took care of that for him, and then I felt a small tremor in the Force." Obi-Wan looked down at the sleeping baby in his arms.
" You know you look good, now you can see why I felt that some of the ways of the Jedi was so wrong." Anakin smiled as he watched his ex-master and also watched his son sleep in the older man's arms.
" You know what towards the end of the war I too was beginning to wonder if most of the stuff that you had said was really true." Obi-Wan smiled at Anakin.
Before Anakin could reply to Obi-Wan's comment he felt a movement come from the nursery.
" Be right back." Anakin got up and headed down the long hallway again.
Slowly opening the door to the nursery Anakin quietly walked into the dimly lit room and went up to the crib.
" Well morning sweet little angel." Anakin smiled down at his daughter.
Leaning over he picked up Leia and took her over to the changing table.
Once he got Leia cleaned up and put a dry diaper on, he then picked her up and took her into the kitchen where he fixed a bottle before taking her into the living room and began feeding her.
It was in middle of the day when the call came in.
" Vader here." Anakin answered his com-link.
" Sorry to disturb you my lord, but I have some news for you." the spy talked into her com-link.
" Go ahead Mara, so what do you have for me?" Anakin looked over to the small group of people who were sitting in the room with him.
" He took the bait, but now we have to get her off the planet, that is because I just found a tracker on my ship." Marah said as she held the small device in her hand.
" Damn, ok but this time she is not the only person that has to leave here too." Anakin looked down at his daughter who was asleep in his arms.
" Understood, oh one more thing, he is not doing too good, so if you are to get rid of him, now would be the time." Mara looked around her ship again just to make sure that there wasn't any more tracking devices on the ship.
" Really, thanks for the information I will take care of the other thing that am working on first then I will deal with him very soon." Anakin had a smile come across his face.
" Got that, Mara out." Mara shut off communications as she tossed the device into the woods.
" We just got here, and now we are leaving again." Telayah and sadness in her voice.
" I knew if we stayed here long enough then the Emperor would sooner or later would find us." Padme looked down at her son who was asleep in her arms.
" Well it took them three months to find us." Obi-Wan said.
" No they knew we have been here this whole time, well it's time to get things together and leave, and I would like to be gone after dark." Anakin stood up and handed Leia to Sabe before walking out of the room.
It was shortly after midnight Padme, Sabe, Obi-Wan Telayah and the twins left the house with the help of the 501 troop.
When they got off the planet they headed to the one place that they had hoped that no one would know about, and to the two people that they thought they would not have to see again so soon.
