Jack groaned as he slowly opened his eyes, he closed them again against the harsh light; where was he? He slowly tried to get up but his body felt so heavy, he just wanted to sleep. He jerked awake when he remembered being attacked; he had to warn them!

"Aw, it's so cute"

Jack opened his eyes again at the voice; that sounded like Kimiko. Jack jerked back when he saw Kimiko's face against bars, why the hell was she so big?! Jack looked around and saw that it just wasn't her, everyone was large…like giants. Jack looked over and saw himself smiling and talking to Chase.

"I found him passed out in the lawn. He's albino and they don't live very long"

The look alike looked over at him and gave a toothy smirk, their eyes flashed yellow before going back red, Jack could only stare. It was him! The guy who attacked him! He took his place, Jack swallowed and looked down at himself…

"Hello little rabbit. Finally awake?"

Jack looked over and found him staring at himself, the look alike smirked again; before lifting the cage and chuckling.

"Just as I said. I'll kill them…and they'll blame you. From now on you're my pet"

He laughed and dropped the cage before running off with the monks; Jack grunted as the cage hit the table hard. Jack slowly stood up and glared at their back. No! He won't just stand here and do nothing! But…what could he do? Jack sighed as he sat back on his hind legs and thought about it, he had no idea what to do. He was supposed to be this mighty hero; who would banish the darkness. Jack shook his head and started to clean himself in a huff.

You can't banish darkness…for where there is light there will always be darkness. It's like a law. He sighed and looked out the window, Jack's ear suddenly perked up as he felt his hair stand on end; what was that? Jack looked around jerkily as his breath started to speed up…there was something here, he looked at the others but they didn't seem to notice. Not even his mom! Jack looked back at the window and jumped, his fur sticking up as he noticed a large shadow that came over the paper door. His breath quickened even more as he watched a sliver paw open the door slightly and a muzzle appear.

The creature slowly slid in between the doors, its long slender body not moving the doors. It looked over and paused in mid step as it noticed Jack in the cage, its tail swished behind it as it watched him.

"Well now; isn't this a surprise"

It stated in a clearly female voice, it tilted its head before it jumped over and landed silently on the table and slowly circled the cage.

"Jack Spicer"

Jack could only stare as it watched him before its tail flicked, it continued to walk around the cage before it shook itself and spoke again.

"Look what happened to you. How could you let yourself get this way?"

It stopped and sat in front of him, it was a large fox. A large sliver fox; the fox watched Jack before it shook its head, Jack could only stare at the fox, what was it talking about? Did it know him?

"You need to wake up, this instant"

"Wake up?"

Jack repeated confused, what the fuck? He's been awake?!

"I'm awake!"

The fox acted like it didn't hear him as it got up and walked closer to the cage and suddenly shouted at Jack, making the small rabbit jump away from the large creature.

"Wake up, you pathetic worm!"

The fox glared at him before it bared its teeth and shouted again.

"You're completely useless, wake up"

It slowly sat and hung its head and mumbled lowly, Jack was so confused.

"Please, Spicer. Wake up"

Jack could only watch as everything started to get dark again; what the hell was going on?!

Jack groaned as he slowly opened his eyes, the first thing he noticed was his body was in a lot of pain; he gasped around something in his mouth and throat as he felt the pain race through his body. He closed his eyes at the pain, he slowly opened them and looked around; he heard a machine by his head, he looked over the best he could and noticed it was a heart monitor, next to it was a breathing machine…so that's what was in his mouth…a breathing tube. He heard someone gasp before he saw a doctor over him, checking him over before looking over his shoulder and talking to someone; probably a nurse. Jack felt so…drained, he started to close his eyes again.

"Jack. Jack, you have to stay awake buddy"

Jack coughed when the tube was removed from his throat, he opened his eyes and looked at the doctor before he spoke…well tried to. His throat hurt, it felt raw.

"W-wh-where"

"You're in the hospital in Hong Kong. I'm Doctor Wong"

The doctor filled him in as he continued to check him over before he offered him a glass of water, Jack shakily took it and drank greedily from it before he sighed lightly. He watched the doctor as he spoke again; the doctor's voice was grim as he spoke.

"Jack. Do you remember what happened?"

He asked as he looked at Jack; Jack thought about it before he shook his head, he was so confused it wasn't even funny. How did he get into the hospital and in Hong Kong no less?!

"Jack. You overdosed"

Jack frowned, overdosed? On what? He thought about it and remembered that he had sleeping pills; he felt his blood run cold, he looked over at the doctor who sat down in the chair next to the bed. He nodded before he spoke.

"I'm not surprised you did honestly"

He stated as he pulled out his chart before he started to list off injuries that Jack forgot he had.

"Let's see…broken left ankle, three broken ribs - four bruised. Internal bleeding, cracked right tibia; broken right radius, 3rd degree burns on your arms and back as well as a concussion"

He glanced at Jack who looked paler than normal; that was right…there was a showdown…and Jack lost. Kimiko caused the burns on his arms while Wuya gave him the burns on his back, he got his ass handed to him, again. Jack sighed and looked away.

"Jack, what caused these injuries?"

He asked as Jack didn't look back at him before he spoke lowly.

"I got into a fight"

"You're lucky, you're friends found you"

He stated, clearly not believing Jack, as he stood up and wrote on the clip board, Jack frowned and looked over at him confused.

"Who found me?"

He asked as the doctor looked at him before he headed to the door.

"Four kids, they were dressed in red temple clothes. A large one with a cowboy hat was carrying you; they said they found you laying on your basement floor, an empty pill bottle next to you"

He sighed and looked at his watch before checking something on the chart and marking.

"That was almost five months ago; you've been in a coma. They refused to pull the plug, they've been here almost every day. Another guy too, he was the strangest of them all. Golden eyes and long green hair; he's been here the most, sits in that chair and doesn't move. Glares at my nurses when they check on you; oh well. A nurse will be shortly with some food for you"

The doctor shook his head and walked out, leaving Jack alone. Jack laid there and looked at the ceiling…five months. He's been in a coma for five months…so then was everything just a drug induced dream? Jack felt a wave of depression wash over him, he shifted and gasped as more pain ran through him.

"F-Fuck"

He groaned before he felt his eyes start to sting, he actually tried to kill himself…and he almost did until the monks found him…but how much later? He closed his eyes as he felt the tears run down his face, he opened his eyes and slowly started to sit up. He wasn't going to just lay here now that he was awake. He gasped as the pain raced through him again. He grunted as he removed his IV and his wires, disarming the machines before they went off; he threw his legs over the side of the bed and stood up, Jack grunted in pain when his face met the floor, he panted as he slowly got up and on unsteady legs. He slowly got dressed in his tattered clothes before he slowly walked out the door, he leaned against the wall, breathing heavily before he pushed himself off and started to walk down the hallway; every step he took shot pain up his body, he stumbled a few times before he found the exit. With some effort he managed to open the door and take his first step outside in five months, his breath came out in a puff; he looked around as everything was covered in a white sheet. He shook his head and started to walk down the parking lot, red eyes looked up to the grey sky just as he saw Dojo fly over with the monks, he quickly hid behind a car and watched them walk into the hospital.

"Doc wasn't lying, they actually came"

He mumbled before he started to walk again; when the warriors arrived at Jack's room, they were greeted by an empty bed and a hospital gown landing on the ground. Also like someone dropped it.
