Riley and Keegan are getting ready to leave with everyone's food orders, when Sam stops them outside in the parking lot

He hands her $50.00 towards the cost of lunch

She puts the money in her back pocket

They get into the truck and they head over to Pizza Palace on West Belmont St.

Tony the owner is standing behind the counter when Keegan and Riley walk in
Tony: Riley what a pleasure it is to see you again. We were sorry to hear about Captain Mathews he was a great guy
Riley: thank you he was loved and respected by so many

Riley: it's a big order are you sure?
Tony: no problem hit me with your best shot
Riley: ok, we need 3 Large Supreme Pizzas, 3 Large Cheese Pizzas, 2 Large Loaded Italian Subs, 3 Large Meatball Subs, 2 Large Turkey Subs Extra Mayo only, a child's Chicken Fingers with Fries, 3 2 Lt. Root beer, 3 2 Lt. Coke, 3 2 Lt. Dr. Pepper and a milk
Tony: sounds like your feeding an army
Keegan: we kind of are my dad's wake is today over at the Winward Funeral Home til 5 and then again from 7-12 you should try and stop by
Tony: yeah I will try so sorry for your loss miss

Riley: how long will it take?
Tony: give me about an hour

They leave the pizza place and they head over to 1236 Madison Ave

Riley: I could be better Captain Mathews passed away and I am back for his funeral
Morgan: I saw that in the paper I am so very sorry for your loss he will be missed

Morgan: so sorry to hear about your dad

Morgan: what can I do for you ladies today?
Riley takes the paper out of her back pocket and hands it over to Morgan
Riley: there are four of us having this done what do you think?

Riley: I don't mind at all there are some changes though, my banner is going to have Hero, Mentor, Friend. Another one is going to have Husband, Hero, Father and the other two are going to have Hero, Father, Friend
Morgan: ok I am gonna need to see some ID from you though
Keegan: my mom is going to come in with me
Morgan: ok when do you want to do this?
Riley: probably later today can you do it?

Riley: we have about 20 minutes before we have to pick up lunch why don't we have a chat

Riley: strange but I am getting back into the groove of things. So what are your plans for after graduation?
Keegan: college and then the academy
Riley: what are you going to study and what does your mom think about you following in your dad's footsteps?
Keegan: not sure and she's support me I mean it scares her but what can you do. It runs in my blood

They get into the truck and they head back to Pizza Palace to pick up their order

She takes out the money Sam gave her and she puts it in the tip jar

They take their food to the truck and they head back over to the funeral home
It's a little after 3 pm when they get back

The place is completely empty except for the family and close friends
Kayla: mommy your back
Riley: hey baby were you a good girl?

Jordan: she was a perfect angel
Riley: I can believe that, now who's hungry?
Keegan and Riley go over to the table and they set the food down. Everyone goes over and grabs their food
Jordan: how much was it?
Riley: it was on the house although they did get a very nice tip thanks to Sam
Keegan: we have an appointment today at 5:30 you, me, Kaden and Riley
Jordan: are they good?
Riley: the best Morgan is awesome she did the one I had done for Jinx
Jordan: I trust you honey
Riley: good
Sam: what's at 5:30?
Riley: something the four of us are doing in honor of Captain Mathews why?
Sam: I can watch Kayla if you want
Riley: are you sure?
Sam: of course I am sure we maybe on hold but I am always going to be here for you
Riley: that would be great thank you
Jordan: do you think you could also keep an eye on my other daughter Trinity? Where we are going they don't allow children
Sam: absolutely thank you for trusting her with me
Jordan: your welcome we should eat before it gets cold
They all find places around the room to sit down and eat lunch
It's now 5:15 pm… everyone is getting restless. Riley, Jordan, Kaden and Keegan have left for their appointment and Sam, Oliver and Zoe took the girls out for some ice cream

She takes out her sketch pad and shows Riley the finished artwork

Riley sits down in the chair and she unbuttons her shirt revealing a white tank top underneath

He removes his shirt and lays down on his stomach

They get to work on both tattoos

Riley has fallen asleep in the chair

It's now 7:00 pm when Morgan and Luke finish Riley's and Kaden's tattoos

Riley wakes up and Morgan hands her a mirror to check out her new art

Riley: of course
Morgan hands her 4 jars of cream

She removes her shirt along and sits down in the chair. Keegan does the same and she lays down on her stomach

Morgan and Luke begin their tattoos
Kaden: sis relax your mind and go to a peaceful place
Keegan has also fallen asleep and is drooling on her arm
Jordan: my baby is all grown up
Kaden: dad would be so proud
Riley: she told me about joining the academy after graduation
Jordan: I am proud of her and I know her dad would be too

Riley's cell phone vibrates and it's Sam
Riley: they are back at your house, Trinity and Kayla are completely wiped out
Jordan: it's been a very long day for everyone so that's fine with me. Tell them to make themselves at home, do your friends have a place to stay for the weekend?
Riley: I can ask why?
Jordan: because if they don't they can stay with us there is plenty of room for everyone
Riley: ok I'll talk to them when we get back
Her phone vibrates again and this time it's Zoe
Jordan: take it she'll be fine as you can see
Riley: this will only take a minute sorry
She lets go of Keegan's hand and steps outside to take the call
On the Phone….
Riley: hello
Zoe: hey we have a problem Sam lost his hotel room it was only for one night and there are no other rooms available in the city
Riley: your in luck Jordan has opened her home for you all to stay until we go home
Zoe: that's great do you know when you'll be back?
Riley: not sure I do know that Jordan wanted to stop by the funeral home for a couple of hours
Zoe: alright see you later then
Riley: ok bye
She hangs up the phone and goes back into the shop

Oliver: hun what's going on?
Zoe: don't know when they'll be back. Jordan wanted to go back to the funeral home for a few hours. The good news is we have a place to stay until we go home
Sam: where?
Zoe: Jordan has offered us her home
Oliver: nice and cozy sounds good to me
Kayla: Sam I am hungry
Sam: ok where is your leftovers from lunch?
Kayla: not sure
Sam: ok I'll go look for it can you stay with Zoe and Oliver?

He goes out to the car to look for her missing food

Jordan: everything ok?
Riley: yeah do you mind if I don't go back to the funeral home with you. I am wiped out and I want to go see Kayla
Jordan: that's fine as long as you drop us off
Riley: ok I can do that
Kaden: are you excited about London?
Riley: yeah I need to get back into training it's less than a month away
Jordan: we still have the gym in the garage if you want to use it anytime you're here

Riley: looks great I am gonna go and visit Dominique and Jinx tomorrow

Keegan and Jordan both put their shirts back on

Jordan, Keegan and Kaden go outside to wait for Riley

Morgan: it's going to be $350 for all of them
Riley hands Morgan her credit card and she swipes it

Riley: I am coming back in September for the charity rodeo

She hands Riley back her card

She goes outside to meet up with the others

Jordan: how much was it?
Riley: don't worry about it, this was my idea so it's all taken care of
Jordan, Keegan and Kaden all give her a huge hug to thank her for her gift

Jordan: we should get back to the funeral home I am sure there are people waiting for us
They go over to the truck and they head back to the funeral home

They get out and she heads over to Jordan's House

Kayla is asleep in Sam's arms on the chair, Izzy, Oliver and Zoe are watching some movie on the couch and Trinity is sound asleep on the floor. When Riley walks into the house

Sam: shush

Sam: an angel
Riley: sounds fishy if you ask me do you want me to take her?
Sam: no that's ok
Riley: I'll be in the garage if anyone needs me
Oliver: where did you all go?
Riley turns to face Oliver and she starts to unbutton her shirt

She takes off her shirt to reveal her right shoulder
Zoe: that's amazing did you just have this done?
Riley: a couple of hours ago, I am gonna hit the garage for a few hours enjoy your movie
She walks upstairs to change into her work out clothes and then she goes into the garage
Oliver: how are things going with you two?
Sam: she put us on hold for now
Zoe: she has a lot going on, Oliver and I are taking Kayla when we get home
Oliver: uh this is all new to me, why is that exactly?
Zoe: she didn't exactly say. It's either us or she stays with Jordan
Oliver: oh ok. Frank told us she was skating on thin ice
Sam: she is but I know that she's going to get her shit together and it will all work out in the end
Kayla starts to stir
Kayla: where's mommy?
Sam: in the garage do you want to go see her?

He takes her in her arms and stands up

Riley is working out punching and kicking the duffle bag hanging from the ceiling when they walk in

Riley takes Kayla back into the house and up to bed leaving Sam alone in the garage, His phone begins to vibrate and it's Frank

Sam: what's up Frank?
Frank: just checking in to see how everything is going
Sam: it's ok we'll be coming back Monday night
Frank: any progress on Riley?
Sam: none that I can report on this time
Frank: ok see you and Oliver on Tuesday at Parade then

Frank hangs up the phone and Riley returns
Riley: are you sure about this?

They begin to spar and Riley does a spinning back kick knocking Sam flat on his ass. After Riley's foot connects with his chest knocking the wind out of him
Riley: oh my god are you alright?
Sam: besides I can't breathe
Riley: can you stand up?
He tries to stand and ends up crying out in pain
Sam: maybe you should go and get Oliver I think I am gonna need a hospital. I think I broke something
Riley: be right back
She runs into the house to get Oliver
A few minutes later Riley returns with Oliver
Oliver: what did you do to him now?
Riley: he wanted to spar
Oliver: so you tried to put him in the hospital?
Sam: could you both stop arguing and help me up
They both help Sam up off the mat
Oliver: where to?
Sam: the local hospital would be nice
Riley: I am so sorry
Sam: you did warn me so technically it's my own fault
Oliver helps Sam out to the car and Riley goes to help when Oliver stops her dead in her tracks
Oliver: no you stay here you've done enough already
Sam and Oliver head over to Dallas Memorial Hospital while Riley continues to beat the crap out of the duffle bag

Lillian: how may I help you gentleman?
Oliver: he may have broken ribs
Lillian: alright please fill out this paperwork and have a seat we will get you in as soon as possible, name please

Oliver helps Sam to a chair and he fills out the papers
Oliver: why did you agree to spar with her? She just kicked your ass across the room
Sam: I guess I wanted to be closer to her to find out what's going on

Sam: yeah not very well as you can see I am in the Emergency Room
Oliver: she's gonna have to want it on her own, with no help from us. Just be there for her that's all you can do sorry

She opens the doors and Oliver helps him to the room

He hands her the clipboard

Nurse: alright were going to take you to get x-rays to see if you broke anything

She goes to put his orders in
Oliver: I don't know about you sometimes man

The nurse returns to take him to have x-rays taken while Oliver waits
25 minutes Later… Sam returns
Nurse: the doctor will be with you shortly

She leaves the room
Oliver: anything broken?
Sam: she didn't say
Dr. Eli Swanson walks into to the room
Eli: I am Dr. Eli Swanson could you tell me how this happened?
Sam: I was helping a fellow officer train for an up coming event she's doing
Eli: ok well Officer Swarek you have two cracked ribs on your right side. I am going to prescribe some pain killers along with rest. Also no more hand to hand combat for a least six weeks
Sam: I learned my lesson thanks doc
Eli: tell her the entire hospital wishes her good luck in London
Sam: I am sorry?
Eli: your talking about Riley McNally right?
Sam: how do you know Riley?
Eli: the entire Dallas Police Department is well know to this hospital. I put two and two together
Oliver: sure we can do that
Eli walks out of the room and they wait for his discharge paperwork
Sam: thank god nothing's broken
Oliver: yeah buddy
The nurse returns with his papers and the prescription the doc prescribed
Nurse: Officer you are all set
Sam: thank you
They head back to Jordan's House
It's 11:00 pm when they return to find the house completely dark inside. Trinity is now sleeping in her room, Zoe and Izzy are sound asleep on the couch in the living room. Jordan, Keegan and Kaden still are not home and Riley is upstairs asleep with Kayla
Oliver: easy don't want to wake anyone
Sam: I vaguely see a couple of cots in the moonlight that they set up for us to sleep on
Oliver: yeah I am wiped out I am gonna hit the sack
Sam: right there with you
They both lay down on their cots and they go to sleep
It's somewhere around 2:00 am when Jordan, Keegan and Kaden come back from the funeral home
Jordan: be quite
Kaden: I can't see anything
Someone turns on the light in the kitchen and it's Riley who is down getting a glass of water
Keegan: wow you look like you just got up
Riley: come down for some water how did it go?
Jordan: some old buddies from Leroy's academy days came by and we lost track of time. I see everyone is asleep
Riley: yeah
Jordan: we'll see you in the morning
Riley: night
They all go to their separate rooms and go to bed for the remainder of the night
It's around 10:00 am Riley and Kayla are already gone for the morning and the others are still asleep scattered around the house
St. Christopher's Memorial Cemetery…
Kayla: mommy what are we doing here?
Riley: don't you want to see Uncle Dominique and daddy?
Kayla: daddy
Riley: yeah come on
Riley takes Kayla in her arms and they walk over to Dominique's grave

Riley: hey Dom I've missed you
She sets down the flowers she and Kayla picked out
Kayla: we missed you
She walks over to the head stone and she kisses it
Riley: good job are you ready to go see daddy?
Kayla: yes please
Riley: see you in September
Kayla and Riley walk across the cemetery to visit with Jinx
Kayla: daddy
Riley: baby come sit with me
She sits down and Kayla sits in her lap
Kayla: is daddy going to be there for London?
Riley: yes do you remember when I told you daddy will always be with us in our hearts no matter where we go?
Kayla: yes
Riley: good, Jinx I've made a mess of my life. When I left here it was to be reunited with my family and it's gone to crap in one large heap. But I am taking it back starting with rehab when we get home. I'll let you know how it goes in a couple of months
Kayla: I miss you daddy
She starts crying and Riley holds her tight
Riley: it's ok baby I know how you feel
She rocks her daughter back and forth trying to comfort her
Back at Jordan's House…
Everyone is starting to get up and get ready for their day
Keegan: mom where's Riley and Kayla I can't find them anywhere?
Jordan: she mentioned taking Kayla to see her dad
Oliver: how are you feeling today Sam?
Sam: like I was hit by a truck
Jordan: why what happened?
Sam: Riley and I were sparring and she ended up cracking two of my ribs in the process
Keegan: ouch
Jordan: she's not someone you want to spar with when I did it I broke my hand in 3 places
Sam: I've learned my lesson that's for sure
Oliver: what is everyone's plans for today?
Jordan: I've got nothing planned except for relaxing and catching up on my reading
Zoe: maybe we can take a tour of Dallas
Sam: I am with Jordan a nice relaxing day sounds good to me
Oliver: party pooper
Sam: sorry man my ribs hurt like hell so I am not going anywhere
The rest of their weekend is mostly uneventful Zoe, Oliver and Izzy explored Dallas while the others went about their own business
