It's 9:00 am on Monday morning Riley is on the edge about returning home she is also nervous.
Dylan: Riley you ok?
Riley: not really but I am excited to see my baby she's coming home today
Alise: what time is your AA Meeting?
Riley: 9:30 we should get going and then I have to go and see Dr. Kendrick so she can clear me for London
Dylan: are we taking separate cars?
Luke: you guys go ahead we are going to stay with Tyler and we'll see you when you get back
Riley: ok we shouldn't be too long
Alise: take your time
Dylan: bye
Riley and Dylan head for the town hall
It's 9:20 am when they arrive at the Town Hall…
Kelsey: good morning how are you doing today?
Riley: good a little scared about going back, but excited because my baby is coming home
Alanna: that's good just take it slowly and everything will be fine
Kelsey goes up to the podium to start the meeting
Kelsey: alright let's get this started, today we have someone celebrating their 1 month sobriety. Riley please come up here
Riley goes up to the podium
Riley: Hi everyone
Kelsey: here is your 30 day coin congratulations you've earned it
She hands Riley her coin
Riley: thank you so much I didn't think I was going to make it but with a lot of hard work I did. My baby girl is coming home and I am hopefully going to London in a couple of days. I worked so hard and I am so proud of myself for what I was able to accomplish in just a short time thank you again
The room explodes in applause and she goes back to her seat next to Dylan
Dylan: I am so proud of you
Riley: thank you I am ready to go back to Toronto
Dylan: your all packed right?
Riley: yeah and it's already in the truck
Alanna walks over to them
Alanna: wanted to wish you luck in London and call if you need anything at all
Riley: thank you and I will
Dylan: ready?
Riley: absolutely let's go see Dr. Kendrick
They leave the town hall and go over to Dr. Kendrick's Office

June: Riley so great to see you Dr. Kendrick will be right with you
Riley: thank you
They sit down and wait for the doc
5 Minutes Later…
The doctor comes out of her office
Dr. Kendrick: Riley please come in
Riley follows her in and she closes the door behind her and Riley sits down on the chair
Riley: so am I clear to go
Dr. Kendrick: well let's talk about it how are you doing since we saw each other last
Riley: I am good, I was offered a job with the Kingston PD so I am thinking about taking it. I am happy here, my baby is coming home today. I am a little on edge about going back to Toronto but I have to do it. Going to talk with Frank in the morning about my future. I feel like I don't belong there anymore.
Dr. Kendrick: that's great news on the job how are you and Dylan doing?
Riley: good I think I am falling in love but I also think it's too soon. Dylan has been an absolute gentleman and I have fallen in love with Tyler too. Part of my rehab I had to write letters to those I hurt the most and the one I struggled to get through I had to tell someone I really care about that I just want to be friends
Dr. Kendrick: have you told him yet?
Riley: haven't found the right time
Dr. Kendrick: take your time and I am sure the person you wrote to will understand. You have come so far in a very short time you should be proud of yourself and I think you have earned it you are clear for London
Riley: thank you so much that means the world to me
Dr. Kendrick: your welcome now I would like to see you when you get back from your trip set up an appointment with June before you go and good luck in London
Riley: thank you and ok
She gets up and goes out to the waiting room
In the Waiting Room…
Dylan: how did it go?
Riley: I am allowed to go to London also I need to set up an appointment for next week
June: sure when would you like?
Riley: I am free Friday at 10 if that's ok
June: sure let me put that in her appointment book
She puts Riley's appointment in the book
Dylan: when does their flight land?
Riley: 1:30
June: your all set enjoy your trip and have fun
Riley: thank you and have a great day see you when we get back
They leave the office and head back to the house to get the others
Back at the House…
Dylan pulls into the driveway and he gets out and goes into the house Riley's phone goes off
On the Phone…
Tommy: hey honey
Riley: dad what's up?
Tommy: heard you were coming back today
Riley: about that yes I am but we also need to talk can we meet up for coffee later?
Tommy: sure when and where?
Riley: Moe's Coffee House on Lincoln Ave
Tommy: that sounds good how about 9
Riley: 8 would be better
Dylan brings Tyler out to the truck and puts him in his car seat and he puts their bags in the back
Tommy: ok see you later love you
Riley: love you bye
She hangs up the phone
Dylan: everything ok?
Riley: that was my dad I am meeting him later
Dylan: ok we are ready to hit the road
Riley: are your parents following us?
Dylan: yeah they will be right behind us
They get in the truck and head for Toronto and the airport
Flight 873 from Dallas to Toronto…
Keegan: mom how do you think Riley's doing?
Jordan: I talked to her the other day and she sounded great. She's also seeing someone new
Keegan: what about Officer Swarek I really liked him?
Jordan: don't know
Keegan: alright do we at least get to meet him?
Jordan: not sure but we are going to be supportive of her decisions
Keegan: you know I always am she's my sister after all and we love her no matter what
Jordan: correct
Captain: we are on schedule and should be arriving in Toronto in less than an hour
Trinity: Kayla are you excited to see your mom?
Kayla: yeah I've missed her tons
Trinity: and I am sure she can't wait to see you
They continue their way to Toronto
2 ½ Hours Later…
Riley, Dylan, Alise and Tyler have arrived in Toronto
Riley: I need to use the restroom
Dylan: there's a rest stop the next exit
He gets off the Express Way and pulls into the truck stop and she makes a beeline for the bathroom
Alise: I guess she need to go, do you want us to go with you to the airport?
Dylan: that would be great since we need the extra seats
Luke: ok
Riley comes out of the building
Dylan: hey do you want to drive?
Riley: yeah that would be great thanks
He hands her the keys and she gets in and they get back on the road headed for the airport. About 2 miles from their destination Riley is being pulled over
Dylan: what did you do?
Riley: oh yeah blame me I didn't do anything wrong
Chris and Sam get out of 1505 and walk over to her truck
Sam: License and registration please
She gets the papers out of the glove box and her ID out of her wallet and hands them to Sam
Riley: why am I being pulled over?
Sam: were you aware that your left break light is out?
Riley: no but I am now, oh I have something for you
She reaches behind her and grabs the letter out of her bag and hands it to him
Sam: uh thanks get your break light fixed
Riley: I will thanks
They go back to their squad car while Riley heads for the airport
Toronto International Airport…
It's 1:20 pm when they arrive and park their vehicles and they go into the concord to wait for her daughter's arrival
PA System: Flight 873 from Dallas Texas now arriving at gate 5D
Riley: do you see her?
Dylan: not yet but she'll be here please stop worrying
Jordan, Keegan, Trinity and Kayla come off the jet way and Riley is jumping up and down
Kayla: mommy
Kayla runs over to Riley and into her mother's waiting arms
Riley: baby I've missed you so much did you have a nice time with Mrs. Jordan?
Kayla: yeah I had a blast but missed you the entire time. Excuse me sir but who are you?
Dylan: hi I am Dylan and this is my son Tyler along with his mom and dad. Luke and Alise
Kayla: nice to meet all of you
Jordan: Riley it's great to see you
She give Riley a huge hug and holds on for a few seconds
Riley: Jordan, Keegan and Trinity Mathews I would like you all to meet Dylan, Tyler, Alise and Luke Stevens

They all make the introductions and they leave the airport and head back to Riley's House
Riley's House 301 Lilac Lane…
It's around 5:00 pm when they arrive
Emily: welcome home
Riley: hi Emily we need to talk
Emily: uh sure what's up?
Riley: I am afraid your going to have to find a new place to live
Emily: oh when are you leaving?
Riley: after London but it's going to take a while to get everything sorted out I am so sorry about this
Emily: hey don't be, are you at least happy?
Riley: yes I am I can give you a reference if you need one and anything you need just let me know
Emily: I am probably gonna head home and visit my parents then go from there
Riley: are you still going to London with us?
Emily: no I am gonna take my ticket and trade it in for one going to Dallas. I miss my family
Riley: I am so sorry that your not coming but you have to tell Kayla
Emily: I will again I am so sorry
Riley gives Emily a hug and then goes inside the house
Inside Riley's House…
Jordan: Riley come talk with me
Riley: sure, baby I am gonna be right back
Dylan: I am not going anywhere
He gives her a kiss and they into the kitchen leaving Dylan in the living room with the others

Riley: how was she?
Jordan: an absolute angel so what's going on with you?
Riley: uh huh, I am thinking about moving again and this time for good
Jordan: when I talked to you last you seem really happy
Riley: I am
Kayla comes into the Kitchen
Kayla: mommy are we going to see Sam?
Riley: probably not what do you think of Dylan and Riley?
Kayla: they seem nice what do you think?
Riley: I really like them both
Kayla runs back into the living room
Jordan: so have you two slept together yet?
Riley: no we are taking things slow seeing where things take us. He's an absolute gentleman. Oh did I tell you that Sam pulled me over
Jordan: when and where?
Riley: earlier on our way to the airport
Jordan: how did that go?
Riley: a little cold but I gave him the letter basically telling him hey I am not in love with you but can we still be friends
Jordan: how do you think he's going to take it?
Riley: not sure hopefully well, I was thinking about leaving Toronto and not coming back
Jordan: yeah you mentioned something about that earlier, is it because of Dylan?
Riley: no it's not I love Kingston the people are wonderful and it's a small community nothing at all like Toronto. I think I can finally have my fresh start
Jordan: do you want me to go with you to see Frank in the morning?
Riley: that would be great thank you
Jordan: your welcome what do you want to do for dinner?
Riley: we could do pizza but I have a date at 8
Dylan comes into the kitchen
Dylan: seeing someone else?
Riley: no it's my dad
He wraps his arms around her waist
Jordan: now about that pizza?
Dylan: ooh pizza
Riley: hey go find out what everyone wants so we can order
Jordan: I'll go and do that
She goes into the living room and Riley's phone goes off again
On the Phone…
Riley: hello?
Andy: hey Riley I was wondering if I could come with dad to meet up with you?
Riley: sure see you then
They hang up and Riley begins tearing up
Dylan: hey are you alright? Who was that on the phone?
Riley: yeah and that was my sister Andy
Dylan: I know that your relationship has been strained, but are you going to ask her to London?
Riley: yeah I think I am
Jordan returns to the kitchen
Jordan: what do you two want for dinner?
Riley: large turkey loaded with extra mayo
Dylan: large pastrami fully loaded
He takes out $25.00 and tries to hand it to Jordan
Jordan: this is my treat you can get the tab the next time
She takes out her phone and calls in their order
Riley: how are you and Kayla doing?
Dylan: good I think were going to be good friends
Riley: good let's go and join the others before I have to go
They all go and join everyone in the living room
In the Living Room…
Jordan: alright they said it should take about 20 minutes
Riley: have Dylan go with you or you'll end up lost
Dylan: where did you order from?
Jordan: Lucky's Pizzeria
Riley: one of my favorites good choice
Alise: so how are you doing?
Riley: good meeting up with my dad and sister later
Luke: it takes courage to do what your doing
Riley: thank you
They continue to talk Jordan and Dylan go and get their dinner

Jordan: pick up for Mathews
Cameron: 2 large subs and 5 large pizzas that comes to $62.59
Jordan hands him $65.00, Dylan takes their food and they head back to the house
It's 7:45 pm when Riley goes to meet her dad and sister
Moe's Coffee House…
Tommy and Andy are sitting at a table
Tommy: are you going to be nice?
Andy: I just want my sister back
Tommy: alright I have a feeling the reason she wanted to meet up was she's not coming back
Andy: the important thing is she's happy right. Life's to short to hold a grudge I want to move on
Tommy: good you know she never wanted anything to happen to you
Andy: I know that now
Riley walks in and she goes over to them
Riley: hey
She gives them both hugs and she sits down in an empty seat
Tommy: welcome home honey, why did you want to meet?
Riley: thank you and I wanted to tell you that I am leaving Toronto. I found peace, great friends and I am so happy
She takes the letter out of her purse and hands it to Andy
Andy: what's this?
Riley: read after you leave
Andy: ok sure
Tommy: I am glad your happy how is rehab going?
Riley: 30 days sober got my coin this morning
Tommy: I am so proud of you
Andy: I wanted to apologize to you for how I acted before I was scared and I acted badly
Riley: apology accepted and I understand, so how is your physical therapy going?
Andy: good do you remember the physical therapist that come into my hospital room and I threw you both out?
Riley: vaguely why?
Andy: I am seeing him and I have a new physical therapist
Riley: that's great dad was telling me about that before I left I am happy for you what's his name?
Andy: Nick Collins and I would love for you to meet him
Riley: I would love to and I have a couple of people for you both to meet as well. Andy what are you doing from Wednesday to Monday?
Andy: nothing why?
Riley: come to London with us and Nick is more than welcome to come as well
Andy: you sure?
Riley: yes
Andy: I would love too
Tommy: we can go over the details later now about you leaving what did Frank say?
Riley: meeting him tomorrow, I am resigning from the Toronto Police Department
Andy: where are you going? What are you going to do?
Riley: Kingston, ON and I was offered a job with their police department
Tommy: I am gonna miss you but you need to do what's best for you and Kayla
Riley: I am trying to, our flight leaves at 8:55 am on Wednesday morning. You can meet us at the house at 6:15 then we can leave from there
Andy: don't we need tickets?
Riley: it's all been taken care of
Tommy: we'll be there
Riley: it's getting late so I will see you all on Wednesday
Andy: night and thank you so much
Riley gets up and gives them both hugs and they all leave the coffee house
It's 10:00 pm when Riley returns home…
Dylan is the only one in the house who is awake
Dylan: hey how did it go?
Riley: good we have 2 more joining us for London
Dylan: that's great are you ready for bed?
Riley: yeah I am
They head up stairs to bed
It's 8:30 am on Tuesday Morning…
Riley and Jordan are getting ready to go and see Frank
Jordan: are you ready?
Riley: yeah lets go
They leave a note on the counter and they head over to 15 Division
15 Division…
Oliver and Sam are on the front desk
Sam: I pulled Riley over last night, she's back in town
Oliver: what was it Drunk Driving?
Sam: no break light out
Oliver: I hope she doesn't come back I don't want to see her again
Riley and Jordan walk into the lobby
Jordan: we are here to see Staff Sergeant Best she has an appointment at 9
Oliver: I'll go and find him
He gets up and goes to find Frank
Sam: your not coming back are you?
Riley: no
Sam: I wish you the best of luck then
Riley: thank you that means a lot
Frank comes to the lobby Oliver is no where to be seen
Frank: Lieutenant right this way
Jordan: go ahead
Riley follows Frank to his office and he closes the door behind her
Frank's Office…
Frank: why did you want to see me this morning?
Riley: I completed my 30 day rehab and got my coin the other day. But the reason is I am not coming back. I am leaving Toronto for good
Frank: I am glad about you completing rehab and I am sorry to see you go. Do you need a reference? Where are you going?
Riley: no and I would rather not say
Frank: alright I wish you the best of luck. Try to keep in touch
Riley: could you give this to Oliver?
She hands him the final letter
Frank: sure
Riley: thanks for everything
She gives Frank a hug and then goes to meet Jordan in the lobby. Oliver comes out of hiding
Frank: she's not coming back so you can stop hiding also she wanted me to give this to you
He hands Oliver the letter from Riley and he goes to throw it away
Oliver: I wasn't hiding
Frank: you could at least read it before you throw it away
Oliver: is that an order?
Frank: yes
Oliver: fine
Frank: you can wait until they leave then get back to work
Oliver: alright
In the Lobby…
Riley walks back out to rejoin Jordan
Jordan: all set?
Riley: yeah I am ready to go
Sam: come here
She walks over to him and he gives her a long hug when she pulls away she has tears running down her cheeks
Jordan: come on honey we should be going
Riley: yeah
Sam: what do you want me to tell anyone who asks?
Riley: that I had to move on that's all
Sam: take care
Jordan and Riley leave 15 Division and they don't look back
Jordan: when do you meet Molly about the house?
Riley: in a few hours
Jordan: can you drop me off at the house
Riley: sure
They head back to her house so Riley can drop off Jordan before meeting with Molly
