It's somewhere around 6:00pm when Riley calls Dylan to come and get her at the arena
Avalon: I wish you the best of luck for the remainder of the competition
Riley: thanks and I am sorry that was tough break maybe next year
Dylan pulls up to the curb
Avalon: enjoy your evening and good luck tomorrow
Riley: thank you are you coming to the fight?
Avalon: I am afraid my job called I have to get back home
Riley: I am sorry to hear that get home safe and don't be a stranger
She gives Avalon a hug and gets into the car when they leave for Victoria Coach Station
In the Car…
Dylan: the others are back at the hotel they decided not to go after all so it's just you and me
Riley: that sucks
Dylan: at least you have me
Riley: absolutely
They arrive at Victoria Coach Station, Dylan parks the car and they both walk over to a group of about 25 people standing in front of a young man
Spencer: it looks like we have s few more joining us
Riley: sorry we are late
Spencer: not at all your just in time. My name is Spencer Wilson and I would like to welcome all of you on the Jack the Ripper Walking Tour. The year was 1888 and the place was White Chapel please follow me
They all follow him to Dorward St.
Dylan: you ok?
Riley: would you hush
Spencer: the first victim was Mary Ann Nichols, She was born in London on the 26th of August 1845. She was survived by her 5 children, her body was found in Buck's Row on the 31st of August 1888. She was found with her throat severed and her lower abdomen was partly ripped open. The next person to fall victim was Anne Chapman she was discovered about 6 am on the 8th of September 1888, near a doorway in the backyard of 29 Hanbury St. She was found with her throat slit along with her abdomen ripped open but this time her uterus was removed
Dylan: that's awful
Riley: yeah
Spencer: Elizabeth Stride aka Long Lizzy and Catherine Eddowes were both killed on the 30th of September 1888 in the early morning. Stride's body was found about 1 am in Dutfield's off Berner St. which is now known at Heriques St. the cause of death was a clear cut incision that severed the main artery. She was born on the 27th of November 1843 in Torslanda, Sweden
Man: what a way to die
Spencer: now on to Catharine Eddowes she was born on the 14th of April 1842 and she was survived by her 3 children. Her body was body was found 3 quarters after Strides. Cause of death her throat was severed along with her abdomen was ripped open and part of her kidney was removed. The Ripper's last victim was a young girl by the name of Mary Jane Kelly also know as Black Mary she was Limerick, Ireland. She was found at 13 Miller's Court which is now Dorset St. Kelly's mutilated body was discovered lying on the bed in the single room where she lived at 13 Miller's Court, off Dorset Street, Spitalfields, at 10:45 a.m. on Friday 9 November 1888. Her throat had been severed down to the spine, and the abdomen almost emptied of its organs. The heart was missing. The canonical five murders were perpetrated at night, on or close to a weekend, and either at the end of a month or a week or so after. The mutilations became increasingly severe as the series of murders proceeded, except for that of Stride, whose attacker may have been interrupted. Nichols was not missing any organs; Chapman's uterus was taken; Eddowes had her uterus and a kidney removed and her face mutilated; and Kelly's body was eviscerated and her face hacked away, though only her heart was missing from the crime scene. To this day no one has actually identified the most notorious serial killer in the world although there have been speculations on who the killer could have been. Now who has questions for me?
Dylan: baby you ready to head back to the hotel?

They turn and leave the group and they head to the car and back to the hotel for the night

Traci walks over to the bar
Traci: hey guys what's up, Liam can I get a beer please
Frank: Nash
A man comes through the door and takes out a picture showing it to everyone in the bar
Liam: sure
He hands her a glass of beer
Traci: thanks
Chris: wonder what that's all about?
Sam: never seen him before
Johnny walks over to them at the bar
Frank: can we help you sir?
Johnny: I was wondering if you have seen this women?
He holds up the photo
Traci: why do you have a picture of our friend Gail?
Johnny: no this is Charlie Bane she's a dancer at the Black Knight in Montreal
Frank: maybe you should sit down sir
Chris moves off the bar stool and Johnny sits down
Johnny: would someone please tell me what is going on?
Frank: well I am Staff Sergeant Frank Best, Officers Sam Swarek, Traci Nash and Chris Diaz you are?
Johnny: Johnny Doyle boyfriend of Charlie Bane now please tell me what's going on
Frank: her name is Gail Peck and she is an Officer with 15 Division here in Toronto
Johnny: do you know where she is now?
Frank: I am afraid I don't sorry
Johnny: she just disappeared without a trace
Officer Myka Connors walks into the Black Penny
Johnny: Journey what are you doing here?
Myka: actually it's Officer Myka Connors of 22nd Division Montreal
Frank: Officer what can I do for you?
Myka: can we talk in private?
Frank: sure
They go to heave but Johnny stops them
Johnny: what's going on?
Myka: do you know where Officer Peck is?
Frank: no we were just discussing that, I thought she was under cover with you
Myka: the op ended a month ago, we came back here and she went into the Last Chance Rehab Center
Traci: I am lost why would she need rehab?
Myka: she got in way over her head and became addicted to Black Tar Heroin. She didn't want anyone to know and she came back here to get clean. That's why she went into the Last Chance Rehab Center
Frank: why am I hearing this now?
Myka: it was not my choice to tell you I think she was embarrassed and ashamed she had gotten in over her head
Frank: ok so why are you here?
Myka: her 30 days was up yesterday and I went to meet up with her and they said they had not heard from her in a couple of days
Frank: have you checked her apartment?
Myka: not yet did you want to go with me
Frank: yeah let's go
They pay for their tab and they all head over to Gail's apartment
1536 Kinney Ave… It's 8 pm when they pull up outside her building
Frank: what number?
Traci: 26
Johnny goes up to her door and knocks on the door and there is no answer
Frank: Officer Peck open up
Traci: do you smell that?
Myka: yeah it smells like gas
They break the door down and they proceed to clear the apartment, Sam goes into the kitchen
Sam: kitchen's clear
Traci heads for the bedroom and the sight before her sends her running to the bathroom where she throws up
Frank: Nash are you alright?
He goes in the direction Traci just came from and he finds Officer Peck sprawled out on the bedroom floor with a needle sticking out of her right arm. He eyes are open and there is no one home anymore. The others join them and Johnny drops to his knees and grabs a hold of Gail's motionless body and cradles her in his arms balling his eyes out
Sam: OMG what the hell happened?
Frank: it looks like she has been dead for two days
There is a leather bound journal open on her bed but no one has noticed it because they are still in shock over seeing a fellow officer and friend dead on the floor in front of them
Myka: I will call this in
Johnny: why and how could this happen?
Myka goes out into the hall and calls in the detectives, Traci emerges from the bathroom
Frank: uh lets wait outside
Johnny: I need some air I can't breathe
They all leave the apartment building and go outside
Frank: I am gonna be lucky if I still have my job after we are done here
Myka: what are you talking about?
Frank: my lieutenant lost it and has a drinking problem her sister another Officer is confined to a wheelchair after being rapped and almost killed by a serial rapist who was a member of my division and now on Officer is dead
Sam: this is not your fault none of what has happened is, this was just a tragic accident
A car pulls up and two detectives get out of the car and they walk over to the group gathered by the front of the apartment building
Detective: Staff Sergeant Best which apartment is it?
Frank: 26
The detectives go into the building and up to Gail's apartment while the others wait to make statements
