I appeared from thin air,
Though everyone knew me,
I didn't know them,
So that was a bit creepy
I was broken from my bonds,
Finally able to see,
All the beauty that,
Had lied around me
And among the beauty,
Was a shining moon,
Whose fur I'll never forget,
Even with my last breath
I helped them survive,
I helped them to live,
I helped them figure out,
Where they needed to live
I didn't change history,
But rather, I built it,
For now if you look,
You'll see my work,
Laid out near the sky,
Where many dangers may lie,
But the brave ones I helped,
They hold their heads high
And although they'll never,
See me again,
I'll remember them,
Until my end.
