Chapter 20:

Kuon grabbed hus laptop case and brought it to the bed. He leaned against the headboard as he booted the laptop up. Kyoko took the scripts out and started flipping through it. She paused right as he was loading the music. "Umm...Corn... Did you know that we are going to be singing?"

He froze and then grabbed his copy of the script. "What?!"

She reached over and pressed play. Soft music began to play. "It's...it's a ballad..." She said shocked as the words popped up.

"Right from the start, you were a thief, you stole my heart, and I your willing victem..." She continued to mutter the lyrices. Ren looked at her and followed along. "Kanae, Chori and I then sing: Just give me a reason, just a little bit's enough, Just a second. We're not broken just bent, And we can learn to love again."

He looked at his script and sang softly, "I'm sorry I don't understand, Where all of this is coming from..."

The continued softly singing along to the music and when it was done froze. "Sho...wrote this?" (A/N: Pink "Just give me a reason.")

Ren just shrugged, "He has changed his style this past year. But I think this was written specifically for you Love Me girls. There are even parts where Kanae-kun and Chiori-kun sing solo."

She nodded and looked at him. "Okay!" She set the script down and jumped offthe bed. "Time to go train. We agreed one hour a day remember?"

He chuckled as he shut his laptop down and stood up. He stretched his arms behind his back and loomed at her. "What first? Weapons training, motorcycle training, or straight up fighting?"

She looked at him and smirked. "I have an urge to ride your motorcyle."

"Baby you can ride my motor anytime. Along with my motorcycle." He winked at her and pulled out his riding gear.

She stared at him then laughed. "Most horrible line ever." He just winked at her and pulled their jacket out of his closet. "Come on. Let's see if dad will be willing to help us."

She took her jacket and looked confused. "Why would we need his help?"

He smiled, "Dad taught me almost all I know. I want them there as an extra pair of eyes. He might think of something that I didn't think of."

She nodded and pulled her boots on. "Let's go."

KRKRKRKR KRKRKRKR KRKRKRKR

Kuu, Kuon, Kyoko and Juliena pulked up to same race track that they were at yesterday.

Kuon got off and had Kyoko sit on the cycle. "Alright, you already know how to start and how to shift. You already have good balance which is good. The main things to remeber are to stay calm, never panic, and to also not try to pedel. This isn't a regular bike."

She just looked at him. "Ha ha ha. Veey funny."

He smiled and kissed her. "I will be riding dad's bike along side you." He and Kuu switched places and Kuu stood infront of her. "Like he said, stay calm. That is the key." He kissed her forehead. "You will excel at this like everything you do."

She nodded and smiled.

Kuon pulled the bike alongside her. "You ready?" She nodded and replaced her helmet. He did the same. She smirked athim and shut the visor before starting the bike and then slowly taking off. Kuon followed her.

They approached the first bend and he watched as she smoothly leaned in toward it, not too much, just right and then straightened out. He pulked alongside her and nodded in approval. She nodded and sped up some more. He sped up a little more and pulled infront of her. He held his arm out and madea zig zag motion. She pulled beside him then sped up and pulled infront of him. He smiled. She got it.

Soon they were speeding around the track. After lap three he got infront if her and held his hand in a fist. That was the sign ti slow down after the next did and together they fibished the lap and stoped their bikes.

"Well?" She asked nervously as she pulled her helmet off. Juliena pulled her into a tight hug. "Natural!" Kuu hughed ger next. "Even Kuon had some troubke learning the basics."

"Well I was only fourteen when you taught me." Kuon said as he walked up and kissed Kyoko. "You did great love."

Juliena hugged her and then grabbed her helmet. "Wabt to race me Kyko-chan?"

Kuu stared at her. "How come you will race her but not me?" He whinned. She laughed. "Mother/dsughter bonding time." Kyoko nodded and laughed as she replaced her helmet. Juliena held up four fingers for four laps. Kyoko nodded and they started the bikes. Kuu stood between them and held his arms up.

"3...2...1!" He brought his arms down sharply and they sped past him.

"And they are off." Kuon mummered as Kuu stood beside him.

Kyoko quickly got the lead and surprised everyone when she took the curve sharply. She sped up and noticed an off ramp.

Kuu and Koun's eyes widened. "Please tell me she is not..." They began running toward her.

Kyoko turned toward the off ramp and took it. She flew off of it and landed perfectly. Kuu and Kuon froze. Juliena even paused and looked at her. She quickly sped around the next curve.

Juliena gunned it and quickly caught up with her. Kyoko waved at her before she braked and then swearved behind her to her other side. Juliena just shook her head as Kyoko laughed and sped away.

Kuu turned to Kuon. "And you're sureshe has never ridden one before?" Kuon nodded silently as he and his fatger watched his girlfriend take another ramp and this time back flipped before landing smoothly. He made his way to the middle of the track and held his hand up.

Kyoko turned the corner sharply but slowed down when she saw Kuon in the middle. She crossed the finish line and slowed down to a stop. She stopped the bike and quickly got off. Juliena pulled up beside he and pulled her helmet off.

Kuu and Kuon walked up beside them. "What the hell was all that Kyoko?" Kuon asked holding her. She shrugged. "I felt like I could do it...so I did. Sorry."

He laughed and hugged her tightly. "Next time warn me. You almost gave me a heart attack. Especially when you did that back flip."

Kuu pulled her out of Kuon's arms and nodded. "Never scare me like that Kyoko... This old heart can't take it." Juliena nodded her agreement. "I almost screamed when I saw you do that sweetie. My goodness," she placed a hand over her heart and closed her eyes. "Between the both of you..." Kuon and Kyoko hugged her, "Sorry mom/mother." She nodded and hugged them. "It's fine... Now at least we know that you can do the motorcycle scenes."

Kuon nodded. "She can do the fight scenes, the motorcycle scenes, now all she needs to learn is how to handle guns and a chain then she will be all set."

Juliena nodded and placed a hand on Kyoko's shoulder. "Leave the chain training to me."

They looked at her shocked. "You?"

"Yes me. I do know how to handle a few weapons dearie." Kuu shook his head stunned, "In the twenty three years we have been married, nit once have I seen you weild a weapon of any sort."

Kuon looked at her with a curious expression. "Do you by anychance know how to handle knives?"

She smiled and nodded. "I am an expert knife thrower, archer and I have a black belt in Martial Arts."

Kuon looked at his father stunned, "Did you..?" Kuu shook his head. "No... You?" "No."

Juliena laughed and looked at her watch. "Come one everyone. It is almost time for dinner and I want to see how Tina is feeling."

Everyone nodded and got on their respective bikes. Kuu led the way home. Kuon was glad he had too because there was a cop crusier parked not a mile from their house and he knew he more thab likely would have been speeding if he hasn't been following his father. The curiser saw them and then flashed his lights.

Curious as to why he did that, they pulled over. The cop got out and walked over to them. "Kuu!"

Kuu laughed and clasped the guys arm. "Matt! What are you doing in my kneck if the woods?"

Matt nodded toward Kuon, "The public now knows that Kuon has returned."

Kuon looked at him and then laughed. "Mr. Kosher?"

Matthew Kosher looked at him and nodded. "Nice to see you still remeber me. Remember what I told ypu last time?"

Kuon laughed. "'Next time I see you misbehaving, I will slap handcuffs on you, stick you in the backseat and then drive around the srudio until Kuu comes and bails you out."'

Matt nodded. "Yup."

"In my defense, I was thirteen..."

Matt snorted, "From what I saw of the Awards Ceremony and the interview in that TV show... You haven't changed much."

Kuon stuck his tongue out and grinned. "You know you missed me."

"Like I miss the flu." He turned to Kyoko. "You must be Kyoko Mogami, Kuu's 'beautiful, amazingly talented' daughter."

Kyoko nodded amd held her hand out to him. He took it and kissed the back of it. She blushed, Kuon narrowed his eyes. "It is an honour Miss Mogami."

"Back of Charming," Kuon said placing his arm around Kyoko amd pulling her into his side, "she is mine."

Matt pouted, "All the good ones are taken."

Kuu laughed. "So, you decided to meet us here to tell us that our house is under watch?"

Matt doubled over laughing. "'Watched'? Oh it is more that being watched Kuu. Fans are litteraly climbing the gates to get inside. Miss King called an hour ago saying that they were overpowering the guards and were close to breaking down the metal protectors. She and Minato(?) were hiding out in one of the secret passagways. The fans broke in."

Juliena gasped, "Are they okay!?"

Matt nodded. "They were safe in the pasageways. The entire police force showed up and we have arrested nearly five dozen people. And they are still coming."

Kuu and Kuon shared a look. Kuu groaned. "Julie...?"

Juliena growled and her eyes were hard. "I agree. It is time."

Kuon looked at them confused, Matt in understanding. "I have already called David and he is rearanging everything. We have set you all up at a safe house for the night. Tina and Minato already have your bags packed and are already at the house. She doesn't look good. Is she okay?"

"She is a month and a half pregnant and it is not agreeing with her." Juliena said in a worried voice.

Matt grabbed his phone and dialed a number. "Hey Steve, is Tina still looking sick?...Get a private doctor to check her out. She is pregnant and we want to make sure both if them are alright...Thank you." Matt hung up. "We will have that doctor sign several nondisclosure agreements."

Kuu sighed and nodded. "Thank you Matt."

Kuin turned to Kyoko, "Well, first time to L.A.; how do you like it?"

She just gave him a look and chuckled. "It is a new experience."

Kuon's phone rang. "This is Ren... Yes Yashiro-san, we are all fine, why?" His eyes darkened. "Oh... I see. Thank you for telling me." Hd hung up and looked at everyone. "Apparently the news crew are there and a live stream is being aired all over Japan."

Kyoko sighed, "Too much drama..."

They all chuckled. Matt looked at them. "Shall I lead you all to the safe house now?"

They nodded and got back on their bikes. Matt grabbed his phone, "I have them and we are on out way. Is the path clear?...Good. We will be arriving in twenty minutes." He looked at them. "We have road blocks up and a straight shot. We will be there in twenty minutes if we book it."

Kuon and Kuu shared a look and Kuu turned to Matt. "How fast is booking it?"

"110 mph. Can you guys keep up?"

The four shared a look and nodded at the same time. "Good." Matt got in the cruiser and they put they zipped up their jackets and put their helmets on. Matt flipped the lights and siren on, Kuu and Kuon started the bikes. Matt pulled onto the road, followed by Kuon, then Kuu brought up the rear.

Seventeen minutes later they areived at the safe house. Juliena quickly got off and ran inside. She pulled Tine into a hug and checked her over before pulling Minato into one. "Are you both okay?"

They nodded and Tine gave her a small smile before grimcing and running to the bathroom. Julie turned to Minato with worried eyes. He just looked toward the bathroom and sighed. "The next few days are crucial." He took a deep breath and Jukie hugged him. "If she continues to be severly sick... There is a high chance of miscarrying. The doctor wants her off her feet as much as possible for the next week at least."

Kuu nodded and clapped his shoulder. "We will do the best we can." Kuon nodded then turned to Kyoko, only to see her talking to Matt. Matt nodded and turned to another officer. "Oficer Brady will run the errand. Give him ten minutes."

Kyoko bowed, "Thank you Mr. Kosher." He nidded and she walked back over to the others. Kuon placed a hand around her waist and pulled her into his side. "What was that all about?" She smiled and kissed his cheek. "Officer Brady is going to go to the grocery store and get me the ingredients I need so I can make some soup for Tina."

Tina opened the door looking pale and clamy. Minato slowly scooped her into his arms and kissed her forhead. "I don't think I can stomach soup right now Kyoko-chan...gomen." Kyoko nodded and kissed her cheek. "I'll just have some made for when you feel a little better. You need to keep yourself and the little one hydrated."

Tina gave her a small smile and closed her eyes. Matt walked over to them, "Let me take you to your rooms and you can get settled. Brady just left."

Kyoko nodded, "You show them to the rooms and I will be in the kitchen." Kuon kissed her cheek and nodded. "Onii-san... Take care of Tina, that is your only objective this week." Minato nodded and gave her a small smile. Everyone followed Matt and she headed toward the kitchen and started pulling out pots and pans.

Ten minutes later Brady walked in and set the sack down on the counter. She thanked him and quickly started chopping and dicing. Kuon walked in, sat down at the table and just watched her. Kuu walked in next and placed a deck if cards on the table as he sank down in the seat across from him.

Kyoko gave them each a cup of tea and kissed their cheeks before going back to cooking. Kuu pulled the cards out and shuffled them. "How is mom doing?" Kuon asked as he took the deck and delt the cards. Kuu picked his hand up and replied, "Worried."

Kyoko took a skillet off of the burner and set it aside to cool. She then stirred a simmering pot for a minute then turned it to low before she sat down in the chair next to Kuon. "I feel mother is not going to leave Tina's side much this next week."

They shook their head in unison. After a couple games she got up checked the pot. Finding everything satisfactory, she procedded to grabb the now cooled skillet and dumped it iver the pot. She set it back down and then stirred everything in well. She grabbed the spices and put a dash of this, a pinch of that, a teaspoon of that and si forth until she deemed it down. She covered the pot and turned the burned onto med-low.

"What are you making sweetie?" Kuu asked as she sat back down. She smiled and placed her head on Kuon's shoulder. "Some more of that soup for Tina. Hopefully it'll help." Kuon kissed her hair, "Didn't you whip it up the other day in just a few minutes?"

She shook her head. "I had actually made it the day before when we were at your appartment. I had Yuki-san delivery it personaly to the presidant with instructions for him to have ut placed in the refrigerator for the plan ride incase Tina needed it. Which she did. All I did was heat it up."

"You...really? You must have done this when I was asleep." She nodded. "Asleep then Yuki-san came by when you were in the shower. "

"You little sneak." He teased pulling her into a hug.

They paused the game when Minato walked in and sank down heavily into another chair. "Everything alright son?" Kui asked placing a hand on his shoulder. He shook his head. "She is thowing up again."

Kyoko quickly got up, laddled some of the soup into a bowl and took it to Minato's and Tina's bedroom. She knocked and slowly walked inside. Tina was back in bed with Julie wipping the sweat off of her face. She sat down on the other side of her and held a spoonful of the soup out to her. Tina cringed and shyed away. "It will help Tina, trust me." Tina nodded and slowly opened her mouth. Kyoko dipped the spoon inside and let the soup slide inside.

Tina swallowd and sighed. She gave Kyoko a small nod and held her hand up to take the bowl, but Kyoko placed ger hand over hers. "Let me. You just sit there."

"But-" Kyoko quickly placed another spoonful of soup in her mouth cutting her off. Tina swallowed and rolled her eyes defeated.

Tina managed half of the bowl before she fell asleep. Kyoko and Julie slowly maneuvered her onto her back and covered her up. Kyoko nodded at her mother and walked out. The men were sitting on the floor against the wall. They looked up when she exited. She smiled at Minato and held the bowl for him to see. He smiled at her as he stood up and kissed her cheek. "Thank you Kyoko." She nodded. "Go lay down next to her. Go give her the comfort that only you can provide." He nidded and walked inside.

Kuon got up and walked with her to the kitchen. He watched as she covered the bowl and put the pot of the soup in the refridgerator. He pulled her into a hug and kissed her sweetly. "You are amazing Kyoko. Never let anyone tell you differently." She nodded and covered up a yawn. He smiled. "Let's go to our room." She nodded.

They stopped to check on Tina on their way. Kuu was sitting in a chair next to Julie, Minato was laying in the bed with his arms around Tina. She looked a little better. They looked up when saw them. Kyoko waved, "We are saying goodnight." She whispered. They whispered goodnight to them. "There is more soup in the refrigerator is she wants some." Minato nodded and smiled. "Thank you again Kyoko." She just smiled and nodded again. Kuon said goodnight as well and they made their way to their room.

Walking in Kyoko spotted the bed and quickly sank down on it. She sighed and closed her eyes. Kuon chuckled softly and gently pulled her socks and shoes off before he got ready for bed. He picked her up and turned the sheets down. Laying her down, he got in behind her and covered them up with the cover. He pulled her into his arms and kissed the side if her neck. "Goodnight Kyoko-chan. I love you." She just sighed and curled up into him in response.
