Kyoko was laying asleep in the hospital bed. Julie and Tina were sitting in chairs on either side of the bed. Kuon was asleep on the couch while Kuu and Minato were sitting on the floor playing a card game. They all looked up when Kyoko let out a groan and started to wake up.

Kuu stood up and walked over to stand behind Julie while Minato did the same with Tina. A few seconds later Kyoko opened her eyes only to flinch and shut them again. Kuu reached over and dimmed the lights. "The lights are down now Kyoko."

She slowly nodded and opened her eyes again. She blinked several times and finally looked at everyone. "Hi." She whispered. They all smiled at her and quickly gave her light hugs and kisses on her cheek. "Where's Kuon?"

Kuu nodded over his shoulder. "He fell asleep a little over an hour ago. He was really worried about you. We all were. You scared the crap out of us doing that Kyoko."

She shrugged her shoulder only to wince in pain. "He's worth it." Kuu chuckled while Minato looked at her. "Did you really say 'And the cycle goes spiiin' when you spun the guy around?" She just smiled and winked. "Getting shot made me somehow figure out how to portray Tsukasa. And well... Tsukasa always makes a stupid comment while fighting... That one just slipped out."

"Never do something that stupid again please Kyoko."

Everyone turned and looked at Kuon as he sat on the couch hunched over with his arms on his thighs and his hands clenched into tight fists. She smiled softly and shook her head. "I can't promise you that Corn. If your life is ever threatened... I will do all I can to keep you safe."

He looked up at her with glazed eyes. "Don't. Just...don't. Please. I can't lose you too..." He bowed his head and his shoulders shook. Julie and Tina stood up and walked over to him. They sat down on either side of him and hugged him tightly. Kyoko looked up at Kuu who was looking at her with soft eyes. He sat down in the chair and took her hand in his.

The door opened and in walked the doctor. "Ah, Miss. Mogami, you are awake. I am Dr. Annabelle Linstor, how do you feel?"

"Like I just got shot and then hit with a rubber mallet."

Everyone blinked at her. "Rubber mallet?" Kuon asked confused. He slowly stood up and made his way over to the bed. He stood near her head and gave her a short kiss.

"Hmm." She smiled at him and nodded. "Yeah. When the bullet went through the vests and hit me.. It felt like a rubber mallet hit me right behind it."

The doctor looked at her and smiled. "I have to admit that that is a new one. Are you in any pain?" She asked writing down something.

Kyoko just raised an eyebrow at her. "Yes Dr. Linstor I am. Could you be more specific?"

Kuon mentally slapped his forehead. "Kyoko, try not to let Natsu or Setsu out anymore today please?" She nodded and the doctor looked confused.

"I do not understand. Natsu? Setsu? Are these alternate personalities?"

Kuu chuckled and shook his head. "Kyoko is an actress. Natsu and Setsu are two of the characters she plays."

"Oh I see, okay. Um, Miss Mogami, could you tell me where your pain is at and on a scale of one to ten, ten being the worst, how much you are in."

Kyoko smiled and nodded. "My right side hurts, but I would put it at maybe a four."

Kuon covered his mouth and coughed. *Liar*

She looked at him and gave him a dark smile. "And who was the one that worked even after he passed out in his dressing room?"

Kuon just gave her a look while the others chuckled. "Says the turtle who crawled on a broken ankle."

She smiled, "Ah yes, that turtle had fun though."

"Stupid turtle."

"Stupid puppy." (A/N: This is a referance to a conversation that they had in my other story Cain and Setsu. Soo... Yeah...)

"Back to the question." Dr. Linstor said as she smiled at their banter. "How do you really feel Ms. Mogami?"

Kyoko smiled. "I don't feel like I am going to pass out. But nor do I feel like getting out of this bed and riding my bike."

"Yes well... Try to avoid your bike for a few days."

Kuon looked down at his girlfriend. "How about for a week seeing as how you peddle like a madwoman."

"Oh shut up you adrenaline junkie." He chuckled and kissed her forehead. "Yes dear."

Dr. Linstor just looked at them and turned to Kuu. "She is free to go. I will prescribe her some pain medicine for her to take as needed. All she needs to do for the next few days is to take it easy."

Kyoko smiled. "Kuon can take me sightseeing!"

"No."

"Then mom and dad can take me sightseeing."

"No."

"Why not?"

"The doctor said for you to rest."

"And I will be. I won't do any training for a few days. We can go someplace near."

"No."

Her lips thinned as she pressed them together before she sighed. "Fine. Then you can sleep on the couch until you deem I am fit to get out of the damn bed."

Everyone silently looked between the two if them as the air sparked. Kuon narrowed his eyes. "That is something I am willing to do if it keeps you in bed for the next couple of days."

Dr. Linstor cleared her throat. "Excuse me real quick," They turned to her. "Miss Mogami doesn't need to be confined to a bed. It will actually be good for her to move around slowly. That will keep her muscles from tensing up."

Kyoko just smiled. Kuon glared at her. "I still say you should stay in bed."

She sighed, reached up and pulled him down for a kiss. When she pulled back she smiled. "Kuon... You are talking to one of the most stubborn persons you know. I worked with a fractured ankle till I passed out, I ran down and then back up ten flights of stairs while having only had the cast on for a week, and I even ran into the wall on my way down. I am used to pain. I do not need to be wrapped up in bubble wrap."

Kuon just sighed and sat on the floor. "Fine. Just... Take it easy? I think that the head indent is still there..."

She smiled and nodded. "Tomorrow I will let you pamper me as much as you want... As long as you let me out of the bed."

He smiled and nodded before standing up. Dr. Linstor smiled and held out some papers. "Great. Now, who is going to sign these discharge papers?"

KRKRKRKR KRKRKRKR KRKRKRKR

Kuu unlocked the door and held it open for Kuon as he walked in carrying a sleeping Kyoko. Julie took the bag and quickly set it in his room. Tina walked into the kitchen and grabbed the soup from the refrigerator. She popped it in the microwave and sat on the loveseat next to Minato.

Kuon laid Kyoko out on the couch, placed her head in his lap and grabbed the blanket on the back of it before covering her up. Julie came back downstairs and put some soup in a bowl before handing it to Tina who smiled, kissed her cheek, and started sipping it. Minato kissed Tina before he got up and started helping Kuu make an early dinner.

Julie got up and moved to the DVD stand. She looked for a few minutes before selecting one and popping it in the DVD player. As it started up she grabbed a few plates and glasses. She filled the glasses up with water and passed them out.

She then took three tumblers and poured two fingers worth of Scotch into them. She handed one to Minato who smiled and kissed her cheek, another to Kuu who smiled and kissed her and the other to Kuon who also smiled and kissed her cheek. The three looked at each other and raised their glasses before taking a sip.

"Mom, what movie did you choose?"

She smiled and pressed play. She had paused it on a preview. The main menu popped up and Kuon chuckled. "Robin Hood? Really mom?"

"What? It's light hearted, funny and you don't have to think at all to follow it."

He smiled and ran his fingers through Kyoko's hair. "Sounds good to me."

Tina nodded. "Me too." Minato and Kuu both looked up from where they were cutting up veggies to steam. "Us too." Julie smiled, "It is unanimous." and pressed play.

During the opening song Kyoko let out a small moan and opened her eyes. Kuon leaned down and kissed her forehead. "Good evening Kyoko." She smiled and blew him a kiss. "Evening love." She gave a small yawn and slowly stretched. "How long have I been asleep?"

Kuu leaned over the back of the couch and handed her a glass of water as Kuon helped her sit up. "Just over an hour. You fell asleep on the way out of the hospital."

She took the glass and nodded her thanks. Taking a sip she looked at the TV and her eyes widened. "Why is there a rooster singing?"

Tina chuckled and set her empty bowl down. "This is Robin Hood, Disney version at least. There is one with Kevin Costner in it but we wanted something light and funny after today."

Kyoko nodded. "Okay. So... Is the roster going to be singing the whole time?"

The all chuckled and Kuon reached for the remote and restarted the movie from the beginning. "I didn't mean for you to have to restart it..." He smirked and kissed her cheek. "We were only two minutes into it Koi."

She smiled and leaned her head against his shoulder. "Sorry for scarring you all earlier." Julie walked over and kissed her cheek, "We are just glad that you are okay dear."

"Dinner will be ready in ten minutes." Minato said from the table. They paused when they heard Kyouko's stomach growl. She blushed and hugged her tummy. "...sorry..." Kuu ruffled her hair. "Would you like a piece of toast or something light before dinner?"

She contemplated for a few seconds, "Toast actually does sound good right now..." He smiled and kissed her hair, "Give me a minute." She nodded and went back to cuddling with Kuon. She shivered and pulled the blanket around her shoulder. "Okay... Why does Frier Tuck look like a bloated bald mouse?"

Everyone laughed and Kuon kissed her forehead. "It's Disney babe. No one knows what goes on in their heads when they think of these stories."

"Hey Kuon, you need to educate her on Dirty Dancing."

"I carried a watermelon." Kyouko said as she covered up a yawn. They looked at her and Kuu handed her a buttered piece of toast. "You would know that line." She chuckled, "Sho forced me to watch it when we were younger. I think he liked all the dirty dancing they did. I just liked the whole 'No one puts Baby in a corner.'"

Just then the doorbell rang. Kuu opened it and Matt stood on the other side holding up ten bags of food. "Anybody around here order Italian?"
