Chapter 6

I had to put my plan into action. I didn't want to waste a single second, but then Charlie could see I wasn't sick, so I had to go to school.

I spent most of my day willing it to go faster. I didn't have time for this, but every second that past the fear only got worse.

I wanted to skip my shift at Newton's, but then Mike phoned me saying I was needed badly.

My shift seemed to drag worse than school. At least with school I had something to do. The store was empty, and Mike spent most the time trying to get information of Bella out of me. He should know by now that I didn't care much for my cousin's affairs.

In my car I started my drive to La Push. I kept trying to replay the events of the vision over in my mind, but every time a ripple of pain would rip into me. I just couldn't bare the idea of events like this happening.

The road becomes slowly blurred, but I kept driving towards Jacob's.

I didn't know what I wanted to tell them. Was it a dream, or was it a vision. I didn't have visions of the werewolves.

I parked by the side of the road. I then took a deep breath. I kept thinking over the dream, but all I see is the snap. I would open my eyes feeling like my lungs wasn't there.

"Ok Louise, get it together!" I snapped at myself. I couldn't start the car again. I then rested my head on the steering wheel.

"Louise, are you ok?" I snapped my head to see Embry standing at my window staring at me.

I shook my head lightly, and he opened the door slowly.

"I'll drive you to Jake." He moved me from driver to passenger seat lightly.

"I need to see Sam." I spoke softly watching Embry's eyes staring intensely into my own.

"Ok Sam's it is." Embry started the car again, and started to drive to Emily and Sam's.

Sam sat down listening to me speak of all the detail. I then watched his face.

"Sam… I think we should take this serious." Emily placed a hand on his knee, and her brown eyes wide with fear.

"Louise, you know it was just a nightmare!" Paul added watching the room, and I shook my head.

"Taking my calculus final in my underwear. That's a nightmare. This wasn't!"

Jacob still standing still and I watched him.

"Was it quick?" his voice shaken.

"Jake, it was a stupid dream she had!" Leah spat watching my face. I got to my feet staring at her.

"It wasn't a dream!" my voice dark.

"I believe you." Jared spoke lightly, and Quil nodded.

"Well I think we need a plan…" Sam started clapping his hands to his knees.

"Louise. When does this happen?"

I blinked watching his face closely.

"I don't know…" my voice trailed off feeling my heart race.

"Well we need to be ready." Jacob added touching my arm.

It was the first time I noticed how close he was to me. His arm pulled me lightly to rest on his shoulder.

"We have the bonfire tonight, you're still coming?" Jacob asked slowly. I knew I didn't want to stay home, and I wanted to spend time with Jacob.

"Erm yeah I've got to get my night stuff." My voice was slowly coming back to its normal pitch.

"I'll come with you." He went to stand up, and I shook my head.

"No I just need to be alone." I added smiling small, and I felt guilty for denying him the time alone with me.

Getting back home I felt much better. I see Charlie watching a basketball game, and I poked my head in the door.

"Charlie, I'm staying at Kim's tonight, cos the bonfire is gonna run late..."

I waiting for an answered and Charlie simply waved me goodbye.

The time I took to pack an overnight bag was the longest ever. I picked clothes, and then my favourite night shirt.

I then took the clothes I had on that day. I picked up a purple and white vest top. I put it on, and then found an old paired of ripped jeans that had been turned into shorts.

I laughed the fact I knew Jacob would hold me most the night. The cold wouldn't affect me.

When I'd packed my over night bag I took a quick glance in the mirror to my own reflection. My skin still pale, and my eyes blue, but then dark circles started to show from my lack of sleep.

I ran a hand trough my hair and rubbed my eyes with the other. I didn't know what was going to be happening with the pack, and I wanted to close my eyes, and it be a dream, a very surreal dream.
