Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, by request of two people and just for pure convenience on my part, I have decided to make a list of classes. Not much to I'm afraid. Also Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, I hope you had a good Christmas, I know I did. Anyway, here's the class list, consider it my late Christmas Present, you know the kind that very few people like, sort of like giving your child a cheap travel chess set.
Also the Review from Guest, "Simon Carlisle", my response is piss off Bailey, I know damn well that you wrote that review, though you are right, I'm a shit writer.
Tank Classes
Knight
A pillar of strength on the battlefield, charged with protecting those around them from the enemy, they are able to wear the heaviest of armours. They block with their shield and administer vengeance with their blade. However they are not suited to sneaking around or to ranged battles.
Specialises in the use of Shields and one handed weaponry, including maces and has a variety of unique sword and shield skills, sports the unique ability, [Inspire], buffing nearby allies with a 25% damage boost. Penalty to Stealth based skills and also to spotting skills, unable to use bows or daggers.
Champion
The True symbol of strength and bravery, a warrior how is unafraid of death and is able to dish out damage easily, ensuring that enemies go down quicker than a third class passenger on the Titanic. In addition, they have a variety of skills designed to shift aggro towards them and away from their allies. However, stealth or subtlety won't every be their strong suit and they have to be careful to ensure that they do not die.
Specialises in Two Handed weapons, such as Greatswords, Battleaxes and Warhammers, sports the unique [Berserk] ability, allowing their damage to be increased by how much health they have lost, (e.g. at 75% health, they would gain a 25% buff to their attacks). Penalty to Stealth and spotting based skills, unable to wield a shield, bow or daggers
Sentinel
A strong guardsman who supports all those around them with their shield, able to tank damage using their shield and impressive skills, though is the most fragile of the tank classes, though is able to be effective by virtue of using the lance to ensure that enemies don't get too close and using buffs to mitigate damage.
Specialises in Lances and Shields, in addition has bonuses to defence, sports two unique abilities: [Hold the Line], provides a 15% boost to the defence of their allies, and [Push Harder], provides an increased 5% to allies damage and an extra 15% to critical chance. However they are unable to use daggers, bows, axes or warhammers, also has a penalty to Stealth based skills.
DPS Classes
Monk
Those who follow the path of the monk or either suicidal or an adrenaline junkie, fighting using their fists they are able to move quickly around the battlefield and buff themselves in order to mitigate damage. However they are not suited to stationary fighting and rely heavily on combo attacks, in addition is unable to wear heavy armour.
Specialises in Unarmed Combat only, bonus damage to unarmed skills and bonus experience to battle healing skills, they also have bonus speed and gain bonus defence from lighter armours. Unable to wield most weapons effectively resulting in a -25% damage status on each weapon they use and are unable to wear heavy armour. The only weapons that are exempt from this are staffs.
Duellist
A swordsman who is better suited to more agile sword fighting than the more brutish styles of the Knight or the Champion. Never stationary and never able to be hit, they use their thin blades to pierce the armour of their opponents and deliver swift decisive blows to end the fight quickly, though as a result they are ill suited to battles of attrition as their low health means that they are easily killed when cornered.
Specialises in fighting with one handed swords, including rapiers and curved swords and all attacks have a 25% chance to ignore armour bonuses of their enemies and have a slight boost to their speed that would allow them to outrun most other players, are able to duel wield. Penalties to Battle Healing skill, unable to wear heavy armour or use two handed weapons.
Samurai
A warrior from the east who brings with him strange weapons and a strange method of fighting. Has a true mastery over katanas and longbows, they are able to deal out damage quickly with their blades and apply the bleed debuff to opponents to wittle their health down over time. Though they are unable to wield shields and can often find themselves surrounded by enemies.
Specialises in Curved Swords, Bows and Lances, has access to unique skills with the katana and has access to unique buff skill [Ancestor's Protection] in order to reduce incoming damage and reflect it back. Unable to wield axes, warhammers and is unable to wear plate armour, in addition their skills have long cooldown times and as such are not suited to long drawn out battles. Though can damage the enemy before they get too close with their bow.
Support Classes
Tracker
A nicer term for a thief who assists their allies by inflicting a variety of debuffs on their opponent, lowering accuracy, battle healing, health, speed etc. destroying the opponent little by little until they are simply unable to fight back. In addition they can support allies by being able to call out enemy positions, tough they do not excel in a fair fight their skill set is based upon making sure that they have the advantage.
Specialises in Daggers and Bows, in addition has the ability to duel wield daggers. Also has bonuses to lockpicking skills and has bonus speed. Penalties to battle healing skill and is unable to wear heavy armour and is unable to wield any swords, spears, warhammers and axes.
Bard
An interesting adventurer, while they do not have the ability to cripple their opponent like a tracker, they are not swift enough to end a fight quickly like a duellist. They instead support allies by playing songs in battle to invigorate allies and dance around the battlefield, either stacking up buffs on their allies, or comboing attacks to build to a crescendo. As such they are hard to place in most parties but are invaluable as their skill set allows a party to overcome stronger opponents and they have the advantage in a battle of attrition.
Specialises in fighting with swords including rapiers and curved swords and is able to quickly apply buffs to allies through their lute, also has bonuses to quests and are able to get better deals from shopkeepers. Though is unable to wear heavy armour and has to sheath their weapon to use their lute in order to buff. Is unable to wield two handed weapons and shields.
Hero
A Jack of All Trades but a master of none. This one who is never out of place but never exactly able to fit into a given role, they are like liquid, they can fill any role. As such, experience is king to these adventurers
No Specialities, Overall bonus to experience gain and is able to duel wield. No real disadvantages
I decided to leave the Hero Class in because I feel that a hybrid class is required in any game. Also I originally wanted to call the Tracker class, Ranger, but I decided against it, mostly because of one ImmortalAssassinz.
