Naruto tried to get in contact with jade. He couldn't find her though even Paula can't get in contact with her. Naruto decide that he needs to find her. This is way he is going to an old friend house because he knows he would he hopes off of gamble's back. He knocks on the door of this mansion. The door is open by an old friend of Naruto's and Slade friend and butler Wintergreen. Wintergreen looks at Naruto in shock.
"Naruto how are you?" asked Wintergreen.
"I'm good but I have to ask. Is Slade here I need talk to him." Said Naruto
"Yes of course I shall get him. Master Wilson there is an old friend here to see you." Said Wintergreen
Slade Wilson walked down the steps with an eye patch over his right eye. He has long white hair in a ponytail. His lone eye widens seeing his old friend. "Naruto to what do I own this pleasure coming to see me. If it about that bet we made I think it doesn't affect me, because you left before tail found the batman." Said Slade as him and Naruto went to a sitting area as Wintergreen severed some tea.
"No old friend I'm not here about that just yet I can wait for it. I'm here because of my daughter. Yes I know about her, but I can't find her so please help me." Said Naruto Slade tried to play off he didn't know about jade.
"I'm sorry old friend but I don't know what you are talking about." Said Slade
"Yeah right that you're her godfather and taught her my techniques the best you could which was pretty good. So where is she I need to see my daughter? I feel you would know that. After all I have seen rose she look a lot like her mother though act like you." Said Naruto after he said that Slade had a far off look as Wintergreen refiled the tea they were drinking.
"Ok my friend she on a mission to assassinate Lex Luthor. That all I know about it." Said Slade
"Thank you." Said Naruto as he got up.
"Yes thanks one eye that shall be your new nickname." Said Kurama
"Ah Kurama how I haven't miss your voice." Said Slade getting a smirk from Naruto
"Yes I wish I could get rid of him but he just keeps coming back." Said Naruto getting a laugh from Slade and Wintergreen.
"Yes. Yes laugh it up." Said Kurama as he and Naruto left
"Slade why did you not tell Naruto about the fact that Sportsmaster may be there." Asked Wintergreen.
"Because I want Naruto to think it at least attainable to have a father daughter moment which is unlikely for me." Said Slade wondering where his daughter rose is.
Taipei 19:20 NST
Roy stood behind a column dressed in a suit with a suitcase grasped tightly in his hand. The Rhelasian peace summit was under way, and a mysterious arbitrator was on his way. He pressed a button on his earpiece.
"Aqualad. I need access to the justice league's data base and the exact height of the league assassin known as Cheshire." Said Roy
"Checking Cheshire is 1.67 meters." Said Kaldur
"umm." Said Roy
"She is 5ft 6in and exceptionally dangerous. Do you require back up?" asked Kaldur
Please. The last thing I need is help from the league. Said Roy
"Just our computer." Said Kaldur
Roy's glasses scan the height of all the women in the crowd until he found the only one that stood at 5ft 6in in a booth across the lot. He zoomed in on the Asian women and got a good look at her face.
"Good luck me friend, aqualad out." Said Kaldur
Roy opens his suitcase and pulled out a collapsible red compound bow. He loaded an arrow in and ducked behind the bushes as a white limo surrounded by motorcycle rolled to a stop in front of the building.
That's when he saw her Cheshire jump onto one of the booths and aimed a rocket launcher at the limo. Roy was about to shot his bow. When a shot from a gun hit the rocket launcher knocking it in the air as she pull the trigger making the rocket going off course.
The crowd of people instantly dispersed as guards surrounded the north and south Rhelasian leaders. Cheshire dropped the rocket launcher and jumped across the crowd and began taking out guards.
Red arrow jumped from his hiding spot and fired an arrow at Cheshire. Which open to a net. Cheshire easily slashes the net with her sai, but red arrow mange to tackle her to the ground. She was ready to make another attack when the guards suddenly surround them and pointed their guns at her. She held her arms up in surrender. The guards hand cuffed Cheshire and put her in the squad car while Roy himself was detained and handcuffed. The crowd relaxed as the mystery arbitrator stepped out of the limo.
Roy immediately recognized the tall bald man. {Lex Luthor.} Thought Roy
Lex turned from his female assistant to Roy and the guards that hold him. "We have confirmation that this one is green arrow's pal speedy." Said Lex
"It's red arrow now." Said Roy
"But we must question him" said the officer
"Lex Luthor vouches for him. Release the side kick." Said someone in the crowd
"Ex-sidekick. And I don't need any favors from you." Said Roy as the guards released him.
"Apologies, I didn't realize you wanted to join the young lady behind bars." Said Luthor
"You may have everyone fooled; Luthor, but I know what you are. What you really are." Said Roy
"Oh I don't pretend to be angel, but this time. I'm on the side of angels." Said Luthor. He walked into the building, followed by his assistant and Roy. People were taking picture as the leader of north and south Rhelasian yelled back and forth at each other, believing the other to be behind the assassination attempt.
"Why should either side trust you?" asked Roy
"Because Lexcorp is a company founded on peaceful enterprise for all humanity." Said Lex
"Cut the act Luthor! I've got Intel linking Lexcorp to the sale of weapons in both north and south Rhelasian. You profiting off of war. So what your angel?" said Roy pointing his finger at Lex
"War income is pocket change compared to billion to be made in investing in a peaceful united Rhelasian. And isn't it better to have peace then to have that scoundrel Lex Luthor profit from it?" asked Luthor
"That scoundrel may not survive to profit. Cheshire failed, but the league of shadows won't stop until the contract is fulfilled." Said Roy
"Which begs the question: who hire the league?" asked Lex
"And are you the real target?" asked Roy before looking at the 2 leaders "or was your death just a convenient way to sabotage the summit?"
"Allow me to hire you to find out." Said Lex
"Your money has blood on it and I'm not here to make a buck. Beside I think you already have someone on the job. " Said Roy
"All well but I hate to tell you but the gun was not from me." Said Luthor
"If it not from you then who?" asked Roy
"That would be me archer." Said Naruto as he appeared next to Roy and Lex
"Hex what doing here?" Asked Roy
"I'm looking for information on the league of shadow." Said Naruto but Kurama and him knew the real reason why they were here.
"And my I ask why mister Hex?" asked Luthor
"Simple cube bald. We're looking for a way to beat our enemies. Best way to do that is capturing a league of shadow member and interrogating them." Said Kurama
"And why should I let you interrogate her?" asked Roy
"Simple I know how the league thinks. After all I am a former member." Said Naruto getting a nod of Lex and Roy
"Alright but I'm guarding the door. Think of these as a bigger apologue for how I acted earlier this year." Said Roy getting a nod from Naruto and Kurama
Roy now in uniform stood outside the jail cell door while Naruto and Kurama 'interrogate' Cheshire. As Naruto enter the cell and saw Cheshire out of her mask. Naruto saw that jade look like her mother and had the same fire in her eyes that he had.
{Ok Kurama place genjutsu on the cameras.} Thought Naruto
{Ok kit} thought Kurama. Kurama made it look like Naruto was in front of the cell yell at Cheshire to give him answer getting madder and madder.
"Well not I'd have imagine meet you again." Said Naruto as he took a seat
"Well cutie maybe if you come close I can show what you imagine." Said jade
"uck think I just gag" said Kurama
"Listen I'm going to ignore that and ask you a question jade." Said Naruto
"How do you know that name." said jade ovibsly not please that he knows her name.
"Your told but were getting off topic do you know who your father is?" asked Naruto
"Yes it Sportsmaster though I wouldn't call him a father." Said jade but saw Naruto shake his head
"No your mother lied to protect you. Jade there no easy way to say this but I'm your father." Said Naruto getting jade to laugh
"Yeah right your what 16 17. There no way you can be my father." Said jade
"Jade I'm your father I look like this my body stop aging at this age thanks to themyscira and being a demon heir. If you don't believe me take this and try to pour energy in it." Said Naruto getting up to the cells handing jade chakra paper
"If you're telling the truth why come now." Whispered jade as Naruto was closer to the bars.
"Because I didn't know about being born. I wish I could have been there sooner." Said Naruto as he looked into jade's eyes seeing that she had his eyes. Jade looked at the paper then at Naruto like she was thinking it over, and Naruto hope to see her put energy in the paper and found out she his daughter. Jade then smirked and ducked down and Naruto and Kurama couldn't react in time. As the wall to the holding cell blew open, knocking them both across the room. Naruto was trying to see who knock him across the room but a thick dust cloud covered the room. Cheshire cough as the room clear and there stood Sportsmaster holding a rope in the hole.
"Oh it had to be you." Said Cheshire as she spat each word out.
"Beggars can't be chooser baby girl." Said Sportsmaster
"no." said Naruto as his healing was trying to kick in.
"Well, well look who it is enjoy the blast hex. Wish I could finish you off but got to go." Said Sportsmaster as he jumped out the whole Cheshire looked back and slip the paper he gave her in her pocket.
Red arrow busted through the door hearing the explosion. He checked on hex making sure he was ok.
"I'm fine go get that bastrad and shoot him a couple time for me. I'll wait for you here." Said Naruto
Red arrow then jumped out the hole after him. Naruto saw that she keep the paper and had a little bit of hope that she would do it.
{It ok kit she may do it kit.} Thought Kurama
{Yeah maybe.} thought Naruto
After red arrow came back
Red arrow came back to Naruto and Kurama by himself Kurama couldn't help but gloat.
"So you had her huh." Said Kurama getting a glare from red arrow
"How do you deal with him?" asked red arrow getting Naruto to shake his head
"I ask myself that question every day." Said amazon hex getting a laugh from red arrow and a glare from Kurama.
After getting his laughter under control red arrow got a serious look and said. "We got to tell Lex what I found out." Getting a nod of the head from amazon hex. As red arrow and hex head to where Lex was. Luthor saw them then smile as he was then inform on the situation.
"The league of shadow wants you dead." Said red arrow
"Doesn't every league?" asked Luthor
"You do know that the league of shadows doesn't just comprise of Cheshire, Sportsmaster, and Ra's al ghul." Said Kurama
"Yeah be hopeful he sends either Cheshire or Sportsmaster again. Because if he doesn't and send someone like deathstroke. You'll be dead before he's even there." Said amazon hex
"I can't say I'm surprised. Ra's is something of a competitor of mine." Said Luthor
"Then maybe I should let you two take each other out. That would be benefit to me." Said red arrow
"Yeah but my job is to piss Ra's off after all the bastrad deserve it." Said amazon hex with some resentment in his voice.
"Your sarcasm doesn't go unappreciated, but remember, the summit and national peace are at stake. Increase security. Though if the shadow thinks you're dead, maybe we can surprise them." Said Luthor first to his assistant and then to amazon hex and red arrow.
"I've got a better surprise in store." Said red arrow
"And what would that be?" asked amazon hex
"Aqualad's coming." Said red arrow
Amazon hex look to be thinking after that along with Kurama then they both look at each other with a predator grins. "Oh we are going to get them good with this right Kurama." Asked amazon hex
"Right kit." Said Kurama
"Want to fill the rest of us in?" asked red arrow
"We will but let's wait for aqualad." said amazon hex
"You have a plan?" asked Luthor
"Oh just put your trust in us cube bald." Said Kurama
Sometime later at the peace summit
"Reunification is unthinkable!" shouted the leader of north Rhelasia.
"Our people no longer have anything in common!" said the leader of south Rhelasia
"Gentlemen, this is mere rhetoric. Despite your great difference, you still share appreciation for many things, such as the traditional and exquisite art of Rhelasian tea ceremony." Said Lex trying to bring some peace to this peace summit.
"Red arrow stood behind the tables where the leaders and Lex sat while amazon hex was in the rafter watching everything with his eyes. Luthor waved his hand and a tall Asian woman in a red and purple dress with white face paint came strolling towards the table with a teacart. While a waiter behind her carried a plate of biscuits.
"Head ups, red tea girl at six o clock." Said amazon hex over the radio.
Amazon hex then jumped down in front of the tea girl and her tea cart. The girl smile thinking { I can take him.} but her smile turn to shock as a puff of smoke cover his body when the smoke cleared it reveled aqualad.
"That far enough Cheshire." Said aqualad getting gasp from the paparazzi.
Cheshire narrowed her eyes at red arrow and aqualad not see the waiter behind her not running or the smirk he had in his face. She pressed a button on her cart and pushes it forward with all her might toward the leaders. Aqualad raised his arm up summoned as much water as he could and formed a protective barrier just as red arrow fired an arrow at the cart but to everyone surprise expect the waiter behind Cheshire nothing happen. The cart rolled to the water barrier harmless then movement happen underneath the cart as Kurama came out with wires in his mouth.
"I'm sorry were these important?" Said Kurama getting a laugh from the waiter as Cheshire turned around.
"Ha-ha I never thought you could do something funny Kurama but good job." Said the waiter then a poof of smoke happens like with aqualad this time reveling amazon hex.
Red arrow aimed his arrow at Cheshire "it over Cheshire." Said red arrow with a glare.
"You think so." Said Cheshire. She then stood up, a helicopter rose up as several henchmen and Sportsmaster invaded the floor. Cheshire drew her sai and jump to a pose ready to fight.
"I got Cheshire." Said amazon hex charging Cheshire with his swords
"What is your deal with me? I rather take on the cute archer then you." Said Cheshire getting Kurama to groan.
{Great give kit another reason to want to kill archer why don't you?} Thought Kurama as hex and Cheshire cross blades.
"So how did you know?" asked Cheshire.
"Simple make sure you have a partner who know chaos and destruction." Said amazon hex
As this fight was going on Lex Luthor and the 2 leaders stood behind the table while the royal guards and red arrow fought off goons. The bodyguards tried to clear a path for them to escape, but there were far too many league soldiers. Luthor on the other hand, seem completely unfazed by the combat.
With great ease and strength, Sportsmaster fought off waves of bodyguards before finally succumbing to a hit from aqualad. He swung his water barriers in the form on water whips at Sportsmaster who dodge them. Sportsmaster jumped to attack aqualad. Who dodge it to the side, aqualad was distracted by Cheshire and amazon hex fight with hex pushing Cheshire taking a punch to the face by Sportsmaster. Aqualad then pulled out a meteor hammer. Sportsmaster now armed with a rapier, lunged at aqualad who dodge and formed two identical blades with his water bearers.
"Not bad kid. Better than your team did in Santa Prisca or Bialya." Said Sportsmaster
"How did you?" asked aqualad
"Let's just say I have an inside source, very inside." Said Sportsmaster
"Aqualad, hex lets end this." Said red arrow as he fired an arrow at the sprinkler system off. Aqualad raised his arms, the water taking the form of a long serpentine dragon.
"Well I can't let you have all the fun after all you took the water dragon. Let's see if they like this. Water style giant water shark bomb jutsu." Said amazon hex as the water that was left took the form of a giant shark that look like the ancient shark megalodon. As the dragon took out the remaining henchman as the shark chased Sportsmaster and Cheshire. Cheshire throws an explosive into the water dragon mouth. Blowing the dragon up but she or Sportsmaster didn't see the shark behind them until it hit them blowing up covering the whole room in water and smoke. The water was able to make sure that hex didn't get cover in the smoke not so lucky for the other. Hex then saw a henchman who avoid aqualad dragon go towards the leader and Luthor.
"kit." Said Kurama looking at hex
"I see him." Said amazon hex as he aimed his gun at the henchman, but before he could shoot the assassin that had jump in the air.
"mercy." Said Luthor
His assistant raised her arm, her palm suddenly shifting as parts of her arm mover to reveal a concealed laser that blast and fired at the final soldier. The teens turned back to the battered room in case there any more henchmen up and about. Mercy's arm returned to normal as the two leaders were in awe of her.
"Gives new mean to the arm race doesn't she?" said Lex with pride
"That technology is most impressive!" said the north leader
"We own you our lives." Said both of the leaders together
"They own him they're lives?" asked red arrow with a large amount of sarcasm
"She takes out one. We take rest and then act like she beat them all with her pinkie." Said amazon hex
"This is what chopped liver feels like kit." Said Kurama
The summit leader and Luthor are safe. That all that matters." Said aqualad a little uncertain
Sometime later
After the treaty was sign and Lex gave his thanks to the heroes for helping. Naruto, Roy, and Kaldur were standing in the court yard.
"Uh thank that over this why I hate bodyguard mission. Kaldur if you sign me up for one more mission like this." said Naruto
"I remember that but I don't think we'll have to worry about the league anymore with the treaty sign renders their contract moot. It's over." Said Kaldur
"Well today's been fun but I'm tired so I'm going home to rest." Said Naruto
"Alright see you hex." Said Roy
"Yeah fun working with you again archer." Said Naruto as he and Kurama got on gamble and were off after hex disappeared Roy looked at Kaldur
"Is it? I heard what Sportsmaster said to you. Do you really think there a mole on the team?" asked Roy
"I can't rule out the possibility. I will investigate quietly." Said Kaldur
"You're not going to tell them." Said Roy
"I do not want unit unraveling over baseless suspicions, especially without cold hard evidence to back up any accusation. And if there is a mole, I wish to not tip him or her off." Said Kaldur
"Good luck with that." Said Roy giving a friendly salute before walking off.
"One moment my friend. Tonight you could have called green arrow for help or the justice league, but instead your first instinct was to call the cave." Said Kaldur getting Roy to stop
"Your right. The team deserves, and has my respect. I'm still getting use to this solo act stuff, but if you need me. I'll be there." Said Roy as he faces Kaldur the boy shook their hands and exchange looks before departing.
At the league of shadow base 5:55 EDT
Jade finally got back from that mission not getting punish or anything. She was getting ready for bed while going through her pocket finding the piece of paper that hex gave her.
{Hm forgot I had this. Uh might as well see if anything happens? Now what did he say to do? Ah yes put my inner energy into it if I'm related to him like he said then this piece of paper should change but to what he didn't say.} Thought jade
Jade then put her energy into the paper. The paper then became like she had taken a bottle of water and dumps it on the paper. This shocked jade this meant all that hex said was true and when he first came in she flirted with him. Great she flirted with her real dad. But if what he said is true why would he not come for her.{looks like I'm going to see my mother again and get her to contact hex and get the story.} thought jade with a little hope that this wasn't a lie and would never have to listen to Sportsmaster again.
Jade has found out the truth and is going to see Paula to get the answers she need. Hope you like this chapter and remember to review any jutsu you want me to do.
