While some of the league were repairing the cave, the team sat down, waiting for answer. Green arrow placed a bowl on the table only for Wally to refuse.
"Thanks but no thanks." Said Wally
"What we want are answer, about red tornado and his siblings." Said robin as he glared at green arrow.
Naruto and kurama were waiting to talk to Kaldur after he was done talking to batman, but was interrupted by Connor as he charged Kaldur lifting him up. Shouting "YOU KNEW! That android and his manic family nearly killed M'ga-us."
"Connor what are you?" asked M'gann as she flew over to him.
"Kaldur knew that there was a traitor on the team and said nothing!" said Connor
"You knew." Said robin in disbelief
"And you didn't tell us?" asked Wally
"I sought to protect the team." Said Kaldur as he tried to explain.
"Knowledge that could save our lives!" yelled Artemis.
"Enough guys it makes since it would have made us suspect each other so back off." Said Naruto
"Why are you defending him?" asked robin
"Because it make since what he did." Said Naruto as he glared at robin
"enough." Said batman silence them all. Connor released Kaldur. "With red tornado… missing the team will now by overseen by rotating supervisor. Captain Marvel has volunteered to take the first shift."
A man in red with a white cape step forward. "I'm looking forward to hanging with you guys." Said captain marvel.

{Really what was your first guess?} Thought Naruto getting kurama to shake his head

While kurama and Naruto were having this conversation batman was explaining to the team about a gorilla attacking the mayor.
"Batman please tell me you're not sending us on a wild ape chase?" asked robin
"I never joke about the mission. I've check the sources, studied patterns, mayor hill's encounter is only in the latest in a series of incidents. Aqualad you and your team will depart for India and check this out." said batman
Before Aqualad could tell the team to head to the bioship most were already heading their except for kid flash, and amazon hex.
"Your team." Said kid flash.
"Don't worry they'll come around." Said hex getting a smile from Aqualad as they headed to the bioship.
India 21:36 IST
The bioship flew over the jungle in sheath mode, hovering over a small clearing long enough for hex, robin, and Artemis to land. The trio walked back to the ship.
"All clear." Said robin
"Switch to stealth. We'll go over mission parameters." Said Aqualad
"Parameter? We don't need no stinking parameters." Said kid flash as he switch to stealth
"It's recon, we know what to do." Said robin as he a kid flash ran in one direction.
"C'mon I'll keep you safe." Said superboy as he try to grab miss m only for her to pull her arm away.
"Like Aqualad keep us safe?" asked Artemis as she and Miss Martain walked in another direction.
"Why didn't you stop them?" Said superboy to Aqualad then chasing after the girls.
Hex sighed as he patted Aqualad on the arm "it ok they just need time hopefully I'm going check the perimeter hopefully I find anything if I do I'll contact you."
Captain marvel watch as member of the team all walked in different. He then looked at Aqualad and asked. "Did I miss the part where you said the actually plan?"
With Naruto
Amazon hex was walking through the forest. Looking for any sign of gorillas. He was also hoping the team would trust Aqualad again because it was getting annoying.
"Hey kit do you think this is Grodd doing?" asked Kurama
"No I don't it to not brain control enough for him. Plus probably used a human instead of an ape." Said hex to kurama
Kurama was going to ask who he thought it was until they heard a sick break in front of them. Amazon hex grabbed his pistols ready for anything. When three fox the size of ATVs came out of the forest and went to attack hex. One bite down on his arm making him drop his pistol. The other two came charging at him. Amazon hex was able to charka punch the first fox off his arm knocking it into the forest by the time the others pounced on him.
"Hey kurama mind helping me out here?" asked amazon hex
"No their fox I don't hurt other fox." Said kurama as Naruto grabbed both of them by their throats trying to prevent them from biting his neck off one was able to scratch the side of his face causing it to bleed.
"Ok no more kidding around lighting style lighting paralyzing jutsu." Said hex as lighting traveled up his arm and hit both of the foxes knocking them both out. Ex then toss them off of him while glaring at kurama
"What you handle it." Said kurama as the foxes got back up behind hex
"Oh great round two." Said amazon hex as he was ready for a second fight but the foxes looked at him then ran away as the collar around there neck fell off. "Ok what happen?" asked hex as he pick up the wreck of the collars.
"It looks like the collar were controlling them." Said kurama as he hop on Hex shoulder to get a better look at the collars.

Some of the team thought about saying something, but at having the threat of facing hex on of the tough fighter of the team no one said anything. The team then regroup tracking captain marvel and his captor to a factor deep in the forest.

"Lighting style: lighting beast running jutsu." Said amazon hex send a beast mad of light at the hole making it big for Artemis.
{Now.} Thought kid flash as Artemis pulled back her bow and shoot the arrow made it through the dome. The arrow hit the button shutting down the dome. The team quickly move down the hill. On top of the roof was a bunch of monkey with collar around their neck. The monkey started to scream causing alarms to start blaring.
"have I mention how much I hate monk." said kurama as the team started to attack the monkeys hex using his gun shoot the collar off some of the monkey.
"Hey at least they're not gorillas." Said hex taking out some of the monkeys.
"Take out the collars." Said Aqualad as the team started to aim for the collars as the monkey swarm them.
The team was doing well when a gorilla with a mini gun start shoot at the team. This cause the team to take cover.
"If I ever say something like that again smack me." Said amazon hex to kurama as he tried to return fire. The gorilla had the team pinned down, but Miss Martain went invisible to sneak up behind him. The gorilla drop the gun and grab Miss Martain as she got behind him.
"Get your paws off her you, damn dirty ape." Said kid flash as he charged only to bounce off the ape and busting his nose in the process. Miss Martain got the distance need and used telekinetically to lift the gorilla. She threw him the wall.
"Water style water vortex." Said amazon hex taking out the remaining monkey and putting them through the hole made by Miss Martain.
The team ran in the building and found captain marvel strapped to table with a collar around his neck, and what look like a brain in a jar.
"It's the brain." Said kid flash
"We can see it a brain idiot." Said Artemis
"No not a brain, the brain." Said kid flash
"Ok I was right on the brain part not the leader part." Said hex silent thank that it isn't Grodd. He not afraid of Grodd it just he don't like gorilla in his head.
"Qui, mon amine in the flesh, so to speak. Mallah." said the brain
Mallah took out a remote, and pressed a button. Several pylons came out activated around the team. Amazon hex tried to go through hand signs to prevent damage done. Mallah seeing this increased the voltage on the pylons to hex cause his arm to not be able to move.
{Miss Martian, superboy now.} Thought Aqualad.
Miss Martin's eye glow as she telekinetic grabbed the remote from Mallah and deceived the pylons. As the team got off the ground superboy burst through the wall with a giant white wolf. The wolf lunged at Mallah knocking him to the ground. Kid flash charged and knock Mallah down hitting him in the nose payback for earlier. Miss Martain picked Mallah up and threw him. Amazon hex went through hand sign.
"Water style water shark bomb jutsu." Said amazon hex a shark made of water came at Mallah grabbing the gun then exploded destroying the gun and threw Mallah across the room right beside the brain.
The team now with the free captain marvel surrounded the villains. Mallah roared in anger at the new scar above his eyes because of the gun exploding. He wanted to fight amazon hex.
"Bring it, I hate monkeys." Said superboy cracking his knuckles.
Mallah was about to accept superboy's challenge when the brains said "no Mallah this will not be our waterloo."
The brains body then begin to change into a giant weapon "au revoir mesa me."
"Get behind me. Earth style earth wall." Said amazon hex forming a wall between the team and the brain. The brain fired was about fire the lights went out, throwing the room into darkness. A minute later the lights came back on Mallah and the brain where gone.
"Wait the big weapon was. A big light switch?" asked kid flash
"Ok guess I didn't need the wall." Said amazon hex
The team finish freeing the rest of the animals from the control collar and was prepared to leave, kid flash was grinning like a loon.
"What are you grinning about?" asked Artemis
"Two words souvenir." Said kid flash putting on Mallah hat.
"Two words gorilla lice." Said Artemis as hex and kurama started laughing at kid flash.
"The rest of the pack is gone what are you still doing here?" asked superboy to the white wolf the he was petting
"I think he wants to stay with you." Said Miss Martain
"Can I keep him? Asked superboy like a little kid fined a stray animal
"Ha-ha! First sphere, now this beast? Dude, you're making a habit of picking up strays" said kid flash
"Maybe because he such a stray himself." Said Miss Martain
"Well he going to need a name. Oh how bout Krypto." Said kid flash getting a snarl from wolf.
"pass." Said superboy
"Beside isn't that taken?" asked miss martain
"Great we have a fox and a wolf. All we need is a jackal and will be the hound of justice." Said amazon hex
"Well a least now I will have someone intelligent to talk to." Said kurama getting heys from the team.
As they loaded up robin stop hex. "Look I need to know how you know that would have happen if the mole was reveal."
Hex looked at robin and said "Because that how my life was before it the reason some agents never made it there bird boy, but I need to know where Aqualad got the information." As they all got on the bioship after asking Aqualad
"The source of the tip was sportsmaster." Said Aqualad
"You can't trust him." Said Artemis
"I do not. It seem possible, even likely that he attempt to divide the team. With false information." said Aqualad
"And given how this mission went, he nearly succeeded." Said robin
"As leader I consider the possibilities of it being true. In which case I didn't want to alert the traitor." Said Aqualad
"I hate to say it but make sense." Said robin
"I am prepared to step down." Said Aqualad
"All in favor of keeping Aqualad as leader?" asked kid flash as the team all raised their hands.
"Guess it unanimous. See you tomorrow." Said captain marvel as he shook Aqualad hand.
"You're not coming back with us?" asked Aqualad
"Na, gotta fly." Said captain marvel going into the sky.
As the team was flying back home amazon hex and kurama were having a conversation.
