The next morning Link walked down to the Great Hall as normal, expecting it to be as normal as it was before. He was barely into the hall when a group of girls surrounded him. He stopped and calmly looked with a sharp gaze at the one who seemed to be the head of the group of girls surrounding him.

" H-H-Hello Professor Link." She stammered, blushing and obviously nervous like all of the girls seemed. They seemed excited too. Link recognized these symptoms defiantly, which were, to his horror, the disease of Fangirl syndrome.

Link internally sighed.

" If you have something to say to me Ms. Williams I believe you will have my class today. Say it then." Link spoke coolly as he tried to brush past the group.

" Wait, Professor-!" She started and suddenly grabbed his arm.

As soon as she did that the other girls began squealing in shock excitedly to themselves that their 'leader' was currently touching their his arm arm.

Link looked back at the girl with a cool look and she immediately blushed and let go. He gave her another cold stare before moving as far away from the group as possible, all of the girls now talking to her about how lucky she was as she claimed that she was never going to wash her hand.

Link heard this he sat at the head table; having to use everything he had to not slam his face against the wooden table in irritated annoyance.

'Damn Fangirls...' he thought, annoyed, to himself as he began to fill his plate with food just as Nirus swooped in with a single letter.

Link watched as the dis-colored barn owl landed next to his plate and held out it's leg, pecking at Link's food once the Hylian took the letter from him and opened it.

Link,

Meet me in my office tonight after dinner. I must discuss some things with you. The password is Toffee Éclair. A splendid candy that you must try while you are here.

Sincerely,

A.D.

Link folded the letter up and put it away after reading it, making Nirus his own plate of food before finishing his.

By the end of the day after dinner, Link began walking towards the large Gargoyle that hid the stairs up to Dumbledore's office.

" Toffee Éclair." he spoke, and at once the Gargoyle jumped to the side and revealed the hidden staircase.

Link walked up it, and his sensitive hearing caught a voice speaking within the room.

"How can you trust him? He could turn on our backs any moment-!"

" I hope you are not speaking about me, Professor Snape." Link interrupted coolly as he entered the office, stopping Snape in mid-sentence as he did so, closing the door behind him.

Snape regarded him with dark and cold eyes as Dumbledore smiled and said," Ah, Link. Thank you for coming. This will only take a moment Severus."

Snape glared at Link once more before crossing his arms and stepping back a bit as Link walked in front of the desk, eyeing Snape warily before looking at Dumbledore.

" You said you wanted to see me?" The Hylian asked.

" Yes. I have a request of sorts for you. You see, with the Triwizard Tournament coming up we are going to need help setting up for the trials. I was hoping that you would be willing to help us with this." Dumbledore explained.

" I am a guardian, not a Game Maker Dumbledore." Link informed him.

" He wasn't asking you to become one. The Head Master asked you to help the Game Makers." Severus told him icily. Link looked at him with a cold gaze.

" Once more, Professor Snape, that is not my duty." Link said, death warmer than his voice.

" Both of you stop it, now I do not need two of my teachers breaking into a fight." Dumbledore said crossly. Link and Snape glared at each other for another moment, before looking back at Dumbledore.

'Git.' they both thought in their minds before Dumbledore continued to speak.

" Link, I merely asked because I would feel safer knowing that someone I know I can trust was helping with making sure the tournament is as safe as it is dangerous and that no one will attempt to sabotage it and potentially and purposely kill one of the champions. You are right, it is not within your job description but I merely asked in case you would be willing. You have no obligation to do so."

Link relaxed a bit and nodded.

" Thank you Head Master." Link spoke.

" You are quiet welcome. Have you received a letter in reply from a mutual friend yet?" Dumbledore questioned.

" No. I have not yet been contacted back by Sirius, Head Master." Link answered as Snape's eyes darkened as they shot to him.

" Sirius Black? You are asking Sirius Black for help?" Snape hissed, clearly irritated by such an idea.

" Yes Severus, I am." Link answered coldly back, the two once more glaring harshly at one another, neither one giving in.

" Once more, enough with the both of you. I do not need or want two of my teachers fighting with one another. Link, you may leave now. Severus, we shall continue our talk now." Dumbledore told them both sternly.

Link nodded and glared one more time at Snape before turning on his heels and leaving the Office. He had classes to start, after all.
