A/N: Hey, guys! Remember me? Yea neither do I. I'm sorry if you guys were missing me (Lets be honest you totally were.), but life amiright! Anyway, Here is the next instalment in my story. Thanks to all who read and review!

Ruby was walking down the street toward the road out of the Industrial District where, she hoped, her older sister would be waiting for her. It was very quiet Ruby noticed. Very peaceful. She did not like it at all. She wanted to be back with Wolf, fighting those bad guys and saving the day. She knew she would only be a hindrance however, so she stayed true to her word and continued down the deserted path toward home.

She eventually reached the exit to see her sister, Yang, and her friend, Robb, pacing around a lit lamppost. She looked awful and was playing with her hair, something she only did when she was uneasy in some way. Ruby only smiled as she called out to her big sister.

"Yaaaaaaang! Over here!"

"R-Ruby! Is that you?!" asked her Yang, unable to see Ruby.

"Yea, Its me." Said Ruby as she emerged from the shadow of the Industrial District, and began casually walking up to her sister.

Yang, however, could not wait and began to run toward her sister. They met in a bone crushing hug, courtesy Yang, and styed like that for a minute before Ruby said

"Yang…you can let go at any time ya' know. I'm kinda suffocating."

"Oh! Sorry lil' sis." Said Yang as she let go. "I guess I was just really worried. You were gone for a long time ya' know!"

"Yea…sorry about that Yang. I guess I got lost." Lied Ruby

"Nah…I guess it's me who should be sorry. I should not have taunted you to go in there. It was very crappy of me to do that to you." Yang replied with another hug, much more comfortable, but just as long.

When the sisters finally broke they looked at each other and turned for home, but not before Yang turned to her sister and asked;

"What did happen in there Ruby? You look half a mess!"

Ruby audibly gulped.

Wolf was bleeding…a lot. Wolf, after taking out six or seven of Torchwhick's goons, was captured by the many that remained. Presently, he has is cuffed to a lead pole by his hands and feet while Roman's biggest goons take a crack at kicking the living shit out of him, and Roman asks him a few questions.

"So Wolf, I'll ask again; who told you we were here?"

"I told you!" Wolf spat blood at Roman's feet. "'I'm not saying shit."

"Tsk, tsk, tsk…we are getting nowhere, kid. You'll have to cooperate to outlive this." Roman said with a wag of his pointer finger and a smirk on his lips. " I can call her if you wish, though I highly doubt she would grateful about waking at such an hour. I'm sure she could make an exception for you though, boy.

"I'm older than you by probably thirty years at least, boy. So how 'bout showing me some respect." retorted Wolf, with very apparent loathing in his voice. One of Roman's men stepped forward and kicked him right in his abdominal after a look from Roman himself. The blows were getting easier as the men grew more tired, and he grew even more numb.

"Oh! I'm sorry, old man, I never meant offence! I just want the truth. Tell me who told you about the bomb, or We. Will. Kill. You. Simple as that, Gramps." Roman said in his usual carefree voice.

"Too bad for me then huh, because I'm not telling you shit!" Wolf spat at Roman's feet again and also gained another foot from someone behind him for all his trouble. His senses must be failing him because he did not even know the man was there. He was unable to brace for the blow and a great rush of pain flooded his back. Wolf audibly groaned in agony. Wolf glared behind pained eyes at, Roman.

"Heh, seems you're not so tough after all, Gramps! You also seem to be realizing just how much shit you're in, considering that pitiful look on your face." Said Roman with confidence.

"You're not getting away with this, Roman. Someone, even if it's not me, will stop you. I'm not the only person in this city that knows what you are doing here, and they'll come for me, or my corpse, eventually. I'm too valuable for them not to.

"Oh I'm trembling!" Roman says, snickering.

"Boss?" asks one of Roman's goons "Do you really thi-" The lackey is cut off before he can finish his question.

"No they are not coming, dumbass! He is bluffing! Why? He is probably just buying time till we kill him. " Roman turns to look at his captive. "It was a nice try, Wolf, but I'm a bit smarter than most."

Right when Roman ended his sentence, almost out of some storybook where a valiant knight rescues the damsel in distress, a small girl in a red hood along with five others drop into the clearing. They seemed to have weapons and some even had armor.

Who are these kids? Wolf asked himself.

"Ruby Rose is here to save the day!"

-Some Time Earlier-

"That…is…quite the story lil' sis, but…um…are you sure you're not hurt?" asked a very skeptical Yang Xio Long, as she was checking over her younger sister.

Ha ha! It sounds like Little Red has had quite the night!" said Rob, one of Yang's friends, who was with Yang when Ruby found her.

"Shut up, Robb! It's true I swear!" pleaded Ruby.

How do I get them to believe me! Wolf could be hurt as we speak. I have to help him!

"Come now, Ruby. How can you possibly expect us to just believe you wandered into a dark construction site, were chased by a large man wielding a hammer, and were saved by some assassin? Even you are smarter than that, I hope." Questioned Robb.

"Seriously, Ruby, it all sounds really incredible, even for you." said Yang, still confused what was happening to her little sister.

"I'm not faking! This all really happened! I can prove it, but you need to follow me!" pleaded Ruby once more, but to no avail.

"Ruby, even if we believed you, and we don't, why in the holy hell would we want to run head first into a fight that has nothing to do with us. Hell, you haven't given us enough information to tell us who it actually does involve!" argued Robb.

"That's because I don't know who it involves! I just know I can't sit back and hope for the best! I saw how strong Wolf was, but even he can't take on this mission by himself! Come on, guys! Where the hell are your hearts! " Ruby was fuming by this point. She was even prepared to go back alone if need be.

"It's no trouble Ruby. I just need you to get to a safe place, please." Ruby remembered Wolf's words, but something inside her would not rest until she knew he was safe.

"If you two refuse to come along, I'll go by myself!" said Ruby, starting to turn away.

"Oh no you don't, young lady!' said Yang grabbing Ruby's shoulder. "Dad is already likely to have my hair if he ever finds out what happened tonight. I don't need you getting hurt and him shaving me bald!"

"All joking aside Ruby, your sister is right. Let's say you are telling the truth. It is far too dangerous to go back, hell your lucky you got out of their at all!" Ruby was starting to sense some belief behind Robbs words. Even Yang seemed to be looking at Ruby in less of a "You're Insane" way and in more of a "Please Don't" kinda' way.

"NO!" Ruby burst out. She was pinning all her hopes on convincing the two with this final attempt. If it didn't work, she could always outrun them.

"I refuse to sit by and let Wolfie die because I was too afraid to help! I couldn't live with myself!" Salty tears began to flow down her cheeks as she realized just why she wanted to help Wolf so badly, and remembered the person she couldn't help no matter how badly she wished she could have. "My Mother would never have let Wolfie die, and God knows I won't tarnish the Rose name by doing it myself! I could never bear to face Mom again! NEVER!"

After Ruby's sudden outburst, she was crying now. Yang went over to her sister, hoping to console her in some way, but the only words that came out were.

"Ok."

Ruby, astonished, looked up at her big sister and smiled. "Th-thank you, Yang."

"Heh, no problem, sis, I mean It's the least we can do, because after all he did save your life." Yang said this with a wink toward Ruby.

"Oh all right! I guess I'll have to go, too. You girls are ganna be death of me!" said Robb with playful annoyance in his voice, obviously trying to console Ruby in his own way.

"You're coming too, Robb?" asked Ruby, even more surprised.

"Yea, I mean why not? I got nothing better to do. Also, I might have a few friends who could help out, if you're willing to take a little detour?"

"Absolutely! We will need all the help we can get!" said a now standing Ruby, wiping the last few tears away with her hand.

-Present-

"Wolf!" yelled Ruby, noticing the bloodied man who was still confined to the metal pole.

Ruby ran to Wolf amongst the confusion, but was knocked back by a large man…with a hammer.

"Well, well look what the cat dragged in. The little piss ant from before, ready for a beating." Said the same man who was chasing Ruby earlier that evening.

Luckily for Ruby however, he was still as dumb and slow as ever, and did not even realize Ruby run from his feet and grab large pipe from the ground. It had blood on it so Ruby could only assume it was Wolf's. this infuriated her to no end. She would make sure they pay for hurting her friend.

"Hey, dummy!" mocked Ruby a few feet away from where the man knew her to have originally be, wielding the lead pipe like a blade.

"Wha-? Ho-? How'd you do that?" asked the hammer wielder, very much confused.

"Don't worry your small mind about it! It won't matter in a few minutes." Said Ruby, her confidence wavering ever so slightly. She wanted to look around and check on her friends, but she had to focus. She also trusted her friends to be able to mop up a few goons, they were from Signal Academy, and second years to boot. Also, when they were scouting from above, they noticed that there were only around seven or eight men in the area. Not enough to cause too much of a fuss.

"Oh ho ho! Is hat confidence I hear? Too bad it won't last long! Hear I come!" The man charge with speeds that surprised Ruby, but he was still far too slow to even touch her. She dodged and struck him in the back as he passed.

"Damn!" said the man in obvious pain. "You're stronger than you look, girly. I'll give you that, but I'm not some wuss who is ganna get beat by some girl!" He came again and Ruby just repeated the same move. If this kept up he'd be done in no time at all. They went at this four or five more times, the man continuing to burst at Ruby. It almost looked like some kind of strange dance between the two.

"Done yet?" asked Ruby fully pumped up and confident in her victory. This guy is even more dumb than I thought! He is just repeating the same attack over and over! Victory is mine!

The next second Ruby was sent flying as an equally large man punched her clear. She landed with an audible thud in the dirt.

Wolf, Yang, and Robb, almost on queue, yelled for Ruby all at once. Both Yang and Robb ran from the fight, and to the hurt girl attempting to pick herself up from the dirt. Wolf could do nothing but watch in horror and rage at what he was seeing. Oh why couldn't Ruby have just left like I told her, too. I need to help her, but how!

"HEY, BOY! Get over here!" Yelled Wolf to the boy attempting to protect Ruby, using what appeared to be a bow with blunt metal heads. He looked at Wolf as if he had two heads, but then realization seemed to was over his face. He said something to the blond next to him and ran over to Wolf.

"Your Wolfie, right?" asked the boy, slightly skeptical.

"Yes, yes I'm Wolfie, now get me out of this so I can help!" barked Wolf (A/N: Pun absolutely intended)

"R-Right! One sec, I'll just pick the lock." Robb ran behind Wolf to the lock that was holding his chains in place. As he was waiting on Robb, he noticed that many of Torchwhick's men had departed, and three others fighting a few of the remaining members of Torchwicks gang. They were doing surprisingly well for their age, but who knows how long that could last. They were still kids, and making mistakes was in their nature. Unfortunately for them, this was not the time. As Wolf felt the chains loosened, he heard Robb confirm his hopes.

"Got it, bro!"

"Thanks…uh, bro?" replied Wolf as he rose unsteadily to his feet.

"I need to get back to Yang and Ruby, are you OK?"asked Robb quickly

"Yes, yes I'll be fine. Go to them!" said Wolf at once "…and thank you for the help."

"Sorry, friend, I'm not the one to thank. This was Little Red's idea, not ours. You should thank her when this is over, got it?"

"Yea…yea I do." Replied Wolf in a surprisingly chipper tone. Time to get back to work.

A/N: Yea so closing note is: I don't know when the next and final chapter will be out. Frankly, it's almost done, but I've seem to come under a bit of wedge in my brain and can't seem to find a way to progress at the moment. I will probably have it out within the next century, but no promises. :)

Until next time my nonreaders!
