Hello again! I apologize for keeping you waiting because I have a lot of college work these days, so I don't really have time to get back to the story. Anyway, here's the next chapter. And FYI, with the new Pokemon series introducing new characters into the fray, I'm thinking of adding them into this story, and I'm unsure of the decision to change the shippings for Ash. In the meantime, enjoy!

Chapter 10: Beginning the War Anew.

"These recent Solar Cycles have been nothing but a waste of time. In the times after my reactivation, my core consciousness has been focused upon the reality of finally leading the Decepticons and replacing that despot, Megatron, who, under poor circumstances, has been vanquished in the might and wasted sacrifice of the Autobot leader, Optimus Prime. However, as I ascend to the throne, my new underlings have abandoned me, launching themselves off into the emptiness of space. Others aboard the Ark have proven their worthlessness. Apparently, I seemed to have miscalculated the possibilities of survival when the Autobot ship crashed into the organic planet's surface. However, with our probes, I was proven wrong. Three of the meddling Autobots hace survived. Now, helping some random fleshlings, humans as they're called, and some unique and powerful pets, they seemed to be becoming unsung heroes in disguise. Such is the typical routine of us Transformers to use the native vehicles as disguises to prevent intervention from humans. It won't matter now. For I, Starscream, leader of the Decepticons, will now strike!"

-The Nemesis-

On the surface of the Moon, a large wreckage of a starship seemed lifeless, completely destroyed and its crew all gone. However, in what was left of the command bridge, a winged figure soon emerged from the viewing window and landed on the rocky surface of the Moon. The individual was a notorious and egoistic Decepticon named Starscream. He had been watching the Autobot activity from outer space and was ready to head out for Earth.

"Ahhh. Now then…" he gloated as he transformed into a Cybertronian jet fighter. "…to destroy the Autobots!" The jet sped towards the planet like a meteor on a collision course for the Earth.

-Earth-

At Odaiba Elementary School, a yellow Bug is parked outside by the sidewalk. It was none other than our curious friend, Bumblebee, in vehicle mode. He rested idly under a shady tree as he witnessed Gatomon stalking a bird. This wasn't a hunt for food, but more like a little fun and play. She quietly crept up inch by inch as the bird, oblivious to her presence, continued to scratch itself with its beak. Just then, she pounced on the bird. As the animal chirped in fear, Gatomon giggled a little to her satisfaction. Bumblebee looked on, fascinated by her sneaky and stealthy technique. However, the fun was over after a few seconds when a bunch of naughty students threw a stone at poor old Gatomon. The bird flew off and Gatomon was sent tumbling down on the ground. Bumblebee groaned in annoyance as the kids laughed their way off.

Soon after, the school bell rang. The students of the school pour out of the school like a herd of cows. Among them were Kari, T.K and Davis, who has just finished Science class. After five minutes of chatting, T.K and Davis leave off for soccer practice. Kari headed towards Gatomon, just to giggle in amusement.

"What's so funny?" snarled Gatomon.

"Oh, come on, grumps." laughed Kari.

As they walked out to get home, Bumblebee moved in a little.

"BEEP BWERP!" he beeped.

"Looks like you want to take us back home, huh?" said Kari.

"I think he's gave this cat a chance for a little nap." added Gatomon. Kari, however, stopped.

"I can't possibly drive in a car without a driver. And I'm still too young to drive." That's when Bumblebee activated a holo-projection of an anonymous human, which clearly looked like a 20-year-old.

"Good idea." agreed Kari, as she got into the yellow Autobot and Gatomon jumped to the back seat and curled up for a catnap. Bumblebee drove off to the Kamiya residence.

-The Ark-

Meanwhile in the Ark, the Autobots Star Saber and Jazz were viewing their control monitor for signs of more stray Digimon in the area. Jazz was also checking around with the ship's condition after the crash. While working on it, a drop of sea water dripped on poor old Jazz.

"Sir, we might have to consider the Ark as our base of operations, sir." said Jazz. "I'm afraid we can't last in here much longer. I ain't becoming fish bait and I'm not gonna rust in pieces."

"Agreed." said Star Saber as water dripped on his head. "But where on Earth do we find a suitable place?"

"Why don't we ask the children?"

"Well, they do know the surroundings better than us for the moment." Star Saber pressed a button and attempted to contact one of the human children.

-At Yolei's house-

Poromon was jumping around with Axew on Yolei's bed. Yolei was walking right in her room with iris after a little cycling. Iris jumped right on her bed as her Dragon partner jumped to her arms.

"Did you have fun, Axew?" laughed Iris.

"Axew!" answered her Pokemon with delight.

"Where did you go, Yolei?" asked Poromon.

"Just a little stroll around the neighbourhood. Nothing too fancy." said Yolei.

Just then, Yolei's D-3 terminal started beeping.

"Oh, someone sent a message." She picked it up and opened it. She saw a text message by the Autobot Leader, Star Saber.

"Sorry to disturb you, Yolei. But we could use a scout for a new base. Our ship may not be the best option now. Would you like to take the task? Thank you in advance."

Yolei closed her terminal.

"Well, I gotta get going again. We'll need to find a new home for the Autobots." explained Yolei to Iris. "Wanna come?"

"Sure!" agreed Iris.

As the children hopped to their bikes and rode to find the Autobots a new sanctuary, above Odaiba, a squadron of Japanese F-15 fighters zoomed right by.

-In the skies-

"This is Squadron Leader. Repeat, this is Squadron Leader. Reporting no sign of possible enemy threats."

"Copy that, Squadron Leader."

"Don't you think it's strange? It's been months since the last monsters appeared and now, they keep coming back."

"Roger, just keep your eyes peeled."

Suddenly, their radar picked up an unusual blip.

"Squadron Leader, radar's picking up something at our 5 o'clock."

"Acknowledged. Moving to investigate."

They turned tails to the point of origin. One fighter attempts to zoom in for a closer look. Minutes later, a flash of light accompanied by an explosion!

"Fighter 2! Fighter 2! Do you copy?!" shouted the leader.

"*static* Roger, Squadron Leader! Something *static* there!"

"Fighter 3 here! Moving to pursue!"

"Wait! No! Hold your fire!"

Then, Fighter 3 gets hit by an unknown laser blast. The pilot ejected seconds after the blast hit his jet.

"That was close!"

"Keep your eyes open!"

Just when they looked behind them, a mysterious figure appears and points its shoulder gun at the next jet in its sights. It opened laser fire, hitting the jet.

"Fighter 4 here! I'm hit! Ejecting now!" And so he did. Watching all the action as he parachuted down, the pilot was nearly rammed by the pursuing being, blowing him away as it zoomed to take down the remaining jets.

"Fighter 5, get him!"

"Yes sir!"

The fighter performed a loop around the figure and was flying behind him, within range.

"I've locked on! Firing missile!" The fighter launched a missile at the target. It hit and blew up, resulting in a massive explosion. Fortunately for the citizens below, they couldn't see the dogfight due to the pursuit taking place above the thick field of clouds.

"Did we get him?" asked Squadron Leader.

"I dunno about you, but we should get out of here!" responded Fighter 5.

"Don't be such a big chicken. Let's check it out." They flew to where the target was supposedly hit. After a minute they find nothing.

"Squadron Leader, I'm pretty sure we destroyed it. We…" Suddenly, another flash of laser fire hit and blew up his jet, but not before he ejected from the cockpit.

"Oh no!" The mysterious being reappeared from above the lead jet. Instead of blasting him to pieces, it scanned the jet with a moving ray of light. Soon afterwards, it kicked the jet down, sending it falling down to the ocean. The lead pilot ejected from the cockpit.

"That's it. I think I'll take a long vacation."

As it watched the plane descending, the figure hovered above.

"Oh, I thank you humans for your kind "generosity". *chuckles*" Turns out that the figure was none other than the new Decepticon leader, Starscream! He transformed into his new jet mode and sped off to Odaiba.
-Odaiba-

At an old abandoned warehouse in the middle of the city, Yolei and Jazz entered the building, with Iris staying outside due to the chilly atmosphere in there. She hated the cold dearly with her fear of Ice-type Pokemon.

"Not coming in?" asked Yolei.

"I think she has the chills." said Poromon.

"N-no thanks. I'm f-fine!" cheered Iris, clearly shivering to the bone.

"Axew…" her Pokemon could only shake his head.

Yolei explored the dark abandoned interior. Empty garages were filled with nothing but cobwebs and piles of old rusty junk and wreck. However, apparently, the structure's supports were still strong enough to last a few more years. As she accidently kicked a stack of old cardboard boxes, dust flew up her face, causing her to cough slightly followed by a loud sneeze, which sound echoes through the hallway.

"Uh-oh. Allergies." said Poromon.

Iris, who still wouldn't dare enter the building, heard the noise from afar and seemed to shriek. She was probably all cold and frightened from the cold.

"Uh, i-is everything alright?"

"Yeah." responded Yolei before taking a sniff from the sneeze. "Everything's… perfect…"

~A few hours later~

The Autobots, the DigiDestined and the Trainers all gathered up in front of the warehouse.

"Well, guys. This is it! The best place I can find in the district!" explained Yolei.

"You sure? Looks like an old dump to me." pointed Davis. Yolei could only give him a frightening glare at him.

"Now, without further ado, welcome to your new base!"

As she pointed out to the interior, an awkward silence filled the air.

"*sigh* I thought this would suit you guys well." said Yolei, with her head down.

Just then, Jazz walked in the building.

"Hmmmm…. With some modifications and a little tune-up in here, we can definitely dig this crib. A cool place to kick it."

"Hah!" cheered Yolei. "Told 'ya!"

"Alright, alright, don't need to get so excited." complained Davis.

"We can help out." said Patamon. "Can we, T.K.?"

"Sure, Patamon. What do you guys think?"

Everyone shouted out their agreement happily and determined, except Star Saber, but he was still satisfied with the efforts.

"I'm thankful to have you all on board, but are you sure you want to do this?" asked the Autobot leader.

"Nah don't worry about us." said Cody.

"Yeah, and it probably would be more worth a jar of cookies." said Upamon.

"Gee, Upamon do you have to think about your stomach?" asked Cilan, amusingly, followed by an audience of laughter from the group.

"Then it's settled then. For now, until we get back to Cybertron, we'll be bound to help out with the clean-up. We're Autobots. It's our job to help out."

"Wow, it might even take us that long till WE get home, Pikachu." said Ash.

"Pika-pi?"

"But I can't wait for tomorrow! This is going to be a blast!"

"You said it." agreed Dawn.

"Piplup!"

~Meanwhile~

A winged silhouette stood atop of a nearby building, with the group below completely oblivious of it.

"Oh, would you look at that. The Autobots have managed to set themselves up for a new home. Well, that will give me more time to search for their ship and I can get as much data as I want. Why have this opportunity to take them all on now, when you can have all the right ideas to finish them off MY way? *chuckles*"

So what is Starscream planning for? Will the Autobots ever find out of his plans? Stay tuned for the next episode!
