Guest: Yeah you're right about the first part, that was my mistake, I just recently reread the manga and saw my mistake, but about Kid growing, he is shown growning and "maturing" in the manga, whether it be the artist just became a better drawer or the fact that the kids went through puberty, he did physically change, as to the whole "he must have been born 200 years ago" I'm not totally sure if that actually is cannon or not, and I'm really sorry about that, but oh well thanks for the extra information and for being patient with me, I guess I'll just use the old "It's a fan fiction I'm allowed to bend the story" excuse for now, but thanks still and yeah living immortally with Excalibur looking like 15-16 for hundreds of years would probably suck

Who's this Blue-haired butt face?
The next photo in the book was a picture of Maka, Kid and Blackstar sitting on a bench in the park, toys were littered by their feet and it finally occurred to Maka that maybe the reason why Kid and Blackstar got along so well was because of her. She was he one who introduced the two of them that day at the park. Maka remembered how she was sick and tired of hanging out with her "brother" and her "best-friend" separately so one day she invited them both to the park and even then they fought. It was like a preview of the first time they would meet again at the DWMA and Maka laughed at the idea.
Yeah, she was the reason why those two first fought, she's also the reason why they're such good friends now and why they also have that stupid hidden rivalry. It was all because of her, because the both of them believed it was their duty to protect Maka when in truth, it was Maka's duty to protect the two of them.
"Idiots." She said to herself.
"Come on, come on, come on, come on!" Maka yelled excitedly as she pulled Kid along with her as she was sprinting through the park.
"Ma-chan where are we going?" Kid asked as they ran farther and farther away from their usual play spot.
"I want you to meet someone!" She said happily, not noticing the shock pass over Kid's face. He was worried that she would leave him and stop playing with him because this new person she wanted to introduce to him is better than he was. They reached the complete opposite side of the playground when Kid saw a boy dressed as a ninja, laughing really loudly at some children who kept on making weird faces at him. His asymmetrical blue star shaped hair made Kid want to puke.
"YAHOOOOO! MAKA HAVE YOU COME TO GRACE YOURSELF IN MY GODLY PRESENCE!" He yelled when he saw her.
"No you idiot! I came to introduce you to someone!" Maka said after she slammed his head in with a book. Kid looked at the boy shocked when he seemed to quickly recover from one of Maka's most brutal attacks. Maka then turned to Kid and grabbed his hand pulling him next to her before she threw her arm over his shoulder. "This is Kiddo-kun, but you gotta call him Kid because only I can call him Kiddo-kun."
"Hi…" K said sticking my hand out to Blackstar who was sitting on the floor glaring up at him.
"I don't like him." Kid's face became one of shock while Maka's became one of hurt.
"WHY?!" She asked as she removed her arm from around Kid's shoulder, putting both of her hands on her hips glaring down at Blackstar.
"He's too close to you. Only you're big godly brother should be able to so casually touch you like that." He said going to pull Maka down to sit next to him.
"Hey- ouch!" Maka yelled when she was pulled down yelling ouch when her butt hit the floor hard.
"Stay away from my sister…?" He said glaring at Kid the entire time. The park went completely silent. For all the children in the park knew, this blue haired kid just touched Lord Death's son's girl, no one harms his girl, hell no one looks at his girl for more than 30 seconds without their life being put in danger. Some of the children in the park who were more prone to feeling soul wave lengths began to cringe when they felt Kid's hissing out in bloody murder. Maka felt it the worst while Blackstar didn't seem to notice.
"Kiddo-kun stop! My brother's being an idiot! I promise, I'm fine!" She said trying to get his attention.
"So this stupid butt is your brother?" He asked coldly.
"Hey!" Both Maka and Blackstar said at the same time. "Don't call me/my brother a stupid butt."
"I'm sorry Ma-chan please forgive me."
"HEY WHY AREN'T YOU APOLOGIZING TO ME!" Blackstar yelled enraged when he realized that Kid wasn't even paying attention to him. Maka sighed before smiling back up at Kid.
"It's okay Kid, but you should really apologize to Blackstar as well." She said simply getting back up off the ground and wiping the dirt off her butt.
"Yeah why don't yo apologize to me?" Blackstar asked annoyed.
"Because I don't apologize to idiots that hurt my best friend." He growled out, not even phased by Blackstar's closeness as he was trying to make a point.
"Well I don't like boys hanging out with my younger sister mortal." He hissed out just as venomously as Kid had.
"Actually Blackstar…" Maka tried to intervene adding a small bit of laughter to her voice.
"I am a God, and by your soul, I know for a fact that you are the simple mortal. My full name is Death the Kid, Lord Death's son and you just hurt my best-friend and Ma-chan has protected me in the past-"
"Ha! You needed to be saved by a girl!" Blackstar cut off, laughing hysterically just to be cut off by Kid.
"Well then that makes two of us, or so I've heard. Hasn't Maka saved you from some pretty bad fights before? Hm? Isn't she still saving you from fights against people to strong for you?" He asked raising an eyebrow, getting on Blackstar's nerves. "Well, I promised Maka that I would get stronger so that she wouldn't have to save me anymore and so that I can return the favor and keep her safe until she dies, and I intend to do that starting now." He said seriously, Blackstar raised an eyebrow at Kid in response, and that's when Maka jumped in between the two pushing them both to the ground.
"I-DI-OTS!" She yelled accenting every syllable of the word. "I introduced the two of you so my best friend in the whole wide world could met my brother, but no you two have to fight over who can protect me or not! Well I'm no Disney princess(*1*) and I can protect myself just like my Mama can and I don't need no man looking out for me, but I do want you two as my friends so stop fighting and get along! At least for my sake!" She said yelling at the two as her glare went back and forth between Kid and Blackstar who were both on the floor. After a moment of silence she yelled, "UNDERSTAND!"
"Yes Ma-chan." Kid said grumbling slightly before sticking his hand out towards Blackstar. "Shake… for Ma-chan's sake."
"Pft, fine you idiot face." Blackstar said as he shook Kid's hand. Maka's smile spread over her face to the point that it looked comical.
"Perfect! Now we can actually play!" She said as she pulled the red carriage they had brought with them, dumping some toys between herself, Kid and Blackstar. She picked up a dinosaur doll and began attacking the 'village' of toys that Kid and Blackstar controlled. Tension lessoned between Kid and Blackstar as they worked together to 'defeat' the dinosaur that was 'terrorizing their town'. They finished just when Kami came over with a camera.
"Ugh Mommmmmm…" Maka complained knowing where this was going.
"Oh hush up, you three go sit on the bench!" She insisted moving her hand in a way that shushed Maka's complaints. Maka dramatically groaned before pulling Kid and Blackstar to the bench. When they were both seated Maka climbed on the bench in between them, putting an arm around each of their shoulder's. Kid and Blackstar also put their hands on her back as they smiled at Kami as she took the photo.
"Perfect! I'm assuming everything went well here Maka…" Kami said with a small smile as she pointed to the toys strewn all over the place and the destroyed mud village they created.
"Yeah! Well kind of! In the beginning they didn't really seem to like each other, but then I used my woman's charm to stop them from fighting." Maka insisted with a smile.
"Ew, woman's charm, what are you talking about, you have none of that." He said looking at her strangely. Kid laughed slightly at this. Maka growled under her breath before she pulled out a book and slammed it into both of their skulls.
"I DO TO HAVE WOMAN'S CHARM!" She said, adding a little 'humph' at the end of her sentence, stomping her foot to prove her point.
"Maka… hitting your friends isn't a good way to keep them…" Kami said sweat dropping.
"But you do that to Daddy." Maka said.
"Well, I love Daddy with all my heart… so it's okay if I hit him over the head once in a while." Kami said running her hand through her hair, sighing in the process.
"Well, I love Kiddo-kun and Blackstar so it's okay!" She said simply.
"Yeah but which one of us do you like more?" Blackstar asked getting a glare from both Kid and Maka. Kami laughed slightly once more shaking her head.
"You're in for one rough high-school life Maka if you have these two to look forwards to." She said simply before going to leave. "I have to get something from Marie, I'll be back in 10 minutes or so, so be ready to go by then you guys." She said before leaving to get something from Marie who just arrived at the park.
"Well?" Blackstar asked.
"I love you both equally!" Maka insisted.
"Idiot can't even chose your own brother over this daddy's boy." Blackstar said pointing a thumb at Kid who only glared at him before getting up.
"Here Maka, I'll help you clean up." He said as he went to go and pick up some of the toys with Maka putting them back in the basket.
"Hah! He's even a suck up." Blackstar continued to tease.
"Am NOT!"
"Are TO!
"AM NOT!"
"ARE TOO!" Kid sighed in frustration before going to put more toys away.
"I'm not arguing with you when Maka wants us to get along." He said, getting a soft smile from Maka, which didn't go unnoticed by Blackstar.
"Thank you Kiddo-kun." She said, Kid smiled back at Maka, giving her the same small smile she just had on her face. Blackstar looked Kid up and down once more before he said something.
"Hey, Daddy's Boy." Kid sighed turning around, and he thanked his farther for his fast reflexes or else he wouldn't have been able to dodge Blackstar's fist. Blackstar went to punch him again, but Kid was ready this time and grabbed it, flipping Blackstar over his shoulder before going to sit on his back.
"I refuse to fight you! I don't want to hurt you." Kid said simply, when Blackstar said nothing, Kid got off his back. Blackstar got up and glared Kid down before laughing and slinging an arm over his shoulder. Kid tensed and got really worried really quickly.
"HAHAHAHA MAKA YOU CHOSE GOOD GUYS! I LIKE THIS ONE HE CAN HOLD HIS OWN AGAINST A GOD LIKE ME! Don't worry about your older brother though I'll get better and I'll defeat this arrogant Daddy's boy, but until then, he can hang around me. Maybe my godly presence will make him more of a god!" Blackstar said laughing, and Maka's tense, battle ready stance she went into (book in hand) after Blackstar threw his second punch, began to relax and laugh with Blackstar. Soon Kid started laughing with them and thus began their relationship as the 3 most feared children in the park, but they wouldn't care because they had each other and that's all they needed for a good laugh. Blackstar would challenge Kid every time they met to a fight, Kid would always refuse, and Blackstar would always call him a wuss, but this fight never lasted more than 10 minutes, and if that's what Maka had to deal with for her best-friend and her brother to get along, then so be it.
"Let's continue this at my house, my Mommy made cookies this morning!" Maka suggested and with smiles all around they went to Maka's house to eat cookies and play the rest of the day.
Maka looked back at the toys that surrounded them and realized that she still had that dinosaur, it was right next to her night stand. She smiled to herself as she thought of it's "menacing" stance beside her alarm clock as all of the memories of the town's he had destroyed came to mind, how could she forget all of these happy memories. Maka scolded her faulty memory as she continued onto the next page.
1) No offense to Disney princesses, truth be told in my life time, disney princesses have become so much more kick-ass and awesome and it's fantastic, but yeah its like that silly Cheetah girls song where it's like "I don't wanna be like cinderella sitting in a dark cold dusty cellar waiting for somebody to come and rescue me!" Yeah, Maka's attitude everyone
And if you didn't catch Kami's drift, she was talking about Maka's love life…
