TheAmazingBookWorm: Who doesn't, gurl? (i'm srry if you don't want to be called gurl but i feel that word "gurl" embodied the sass needed to finish that sentence)

But I Saw it In A Cop Movie!

Maka placed the open scrap book on Kid's bed she thought she heard movement outside. She looked out the doorway and saw no one. She must be going crazy but she could have sworn she felt like she recognized someone, like she felt as if someone was out in the hall. Maka didn't quite understand it, maybe it was just her imagination, maybe it was a memory trying to seep through because Maka was remembering how this wasn't the first time she felt another weird presence in Kid's house. She checked the hallway once more for souls, it looks like Patty had found all the weapons and blackstar who can't see soul's for shit so Maka thought she would be safe for a while.

She thought of an escape route as she went to sit back on the bed, on the next page… no the next three pages were a bunch of photos of Maka and Kid in fancy dress robs. There were meaningless stupid photos in between these memories and her wedding memories, but they were not nearly as strong as this one. A little less than a year had past between these two pages and Maka and Kid looked like they were going off to the annual DWMA christmas ball based on their clothes, but at the same time in the photo maka saw them standing in front of her old car, Spirit's weapon arm stuck in the window as Kami yelled at him and Maka had to bury her head in Kid's pillow (which smelt a lot like Kid since well duh it was his pillow, and no you're the stupid one for thinking it affected her, pet no she didn't enjoy that smell at all) to stifle her laughter.

She dove into the memory fondly.

"I can get them."

"No you can't Spirit."

"But I can see the keys!"

"In our locked car!" Kami yelled at her husband. Outside Gallows Manor, the couple argued on and on about how Spirit, like an idiot he is locked out his entire family and Kid who was supposed to be given a ride to the annual DWMA ball by the Albarn Family. On the steps to the manor sat Maka and Kid and too their left Kami's forgotten camera. Maka and Kid were both dressed for the ball, Kid in a suit (almost exactly like the suit he wears today…) and Maka in a white dress with a red ribbon created for her and Kid specifically. They were early Christmas presents and Maka didn't know what to say to Miss Nakase because in her pure white drew that went down below her knees, low in the back and with a deep red ribbon Maka truly felt pretty. But Maka's mother, Kami gave Maka hope as to what she would look like in the future. Why? Well Miss Nakase gave Kami a dress as well specifically for this night and Maka remembered smacking Kid upside the head for looking too long at her mother. But truth be told, Maka understood because her mother looked very much like a goddess.

Her hair was tied up in a high messy bun, some of her blond hair falling perfectly on her face and down her neck. She wore little make up, just enough to make her green eyes larger than they were before. Her dress was a pure white and the main part of the dress ended before her knees and was tighter to her skin with small pattern and designs on it that must have taken Miss Nakase a lot of work, then over that there were sashes of fabric wrapped around her, with a final touch of a golden belt around her waist with golden necklaces and bangles, it made her mother look like one of the Grecian goddesses (*1*) Maka read about in all of her mythology books. But boy did she look angry now.

"Spirit don't do anything I'm calling Stein for help!" She said shaking her hand full of golden bracelets at Spirit before reaching into her small bag to grab her phone.

"WHY DO YOU TRUST HIM ENOUGH TO CALL HIM FOR CAR HELP!" Spirit yelled at his wife. Kami spun around her dress moving out with her and Maka laughed a little when she saw her father cringe a little at the movement.

"Cause he has the tools to get into our car and he has been a big help since I had Maka." Kami said.

"Because he wants to use her in experiments!" Spirit hissed out.

"No because he has been kind to me recently and has become like a brother figure. He has also taken a liking to Maka more than an experiment. She actually helps him with his, she isn't a part of it Spi- Hello Franken." Kami's stern voice turned happy all of a sudden and Maka thought Mr. Stein must have picked up the phone.

"Watch your Papa, Maka. I can do this without stupid Franken." Spirit said before he ran back towards the front of the car on the other side.

"Do you think you can stop by and help us?" Kami's voice rang out.

"You know your mother truly suits that dress." Miss Nakase said behind the two bored children.

"She really does." Kid said getting a Maka chop from Maka who flushed red after his comment.

"My Mama really is pretty isn't she?" Maka said in a knowing tone even if it was said in a question.

"When you get older, I'll make you a dress to surpass the one your mother is wearing now, wouldn't that be great? Wouldn't Maka look pretty my little Lord?" Miss Nakase asked. Kid looked away embarrassed before mumbling a 'yes' under his breath blushing red.

"I hope I'll look like my mommy when I grow up." Maka sighed.

"I'm sure you will, and even when your older than her, how about I make your wedding dress?"

"DON'T GET TOO AHEAD OF YOURSELF NAKASE!" Spirit yelled from the other side of the car at the same time his wife yelled. "Miss Nakase I would be honored if you made Maka's wedding dress more beautiful than this!" Before she went back on the phone.

"Anyway…" Nakase said glaring slightly at Spirit before grabbing the camera, "I might as well take a couple of pictures of you guys while you wait. It might be fun to take silly photo's correct?" Maka and Kid nodded as the turned towards Nakase so that Spirit and the car were in the background. Nakase took rapid photos of Kid and Maka making the stupidest faces possible, but soon she stopped completely. "Maka, thank the Lord you have your mother's intelligence." Maka looked behind her along with Kid. Maka felt herself sweat-drop as Kid began to laugh behind her. Spirit seemed to think it would be a good idea to stick his arm as a scythe down the window in an attempt to unlock the car.

"I SAW IT IN A MOVIE!"

"SPIRIT YOU CAN'T LEARN HOW TO UNLOCK A CAR WITH A SCYTHE BY WATCHING A MOVIE!" Kami yelled back as she tried to pull Spirit's arm out of the car without hurting him or the car but that didn't seem to work. Stein came minutes later and having hugging Kami, saying hello giving both Maka and Kid pats on the head and lollipops he turned to Spirit. After a minute of examination he simple say…

"You're an idiot."

"Shut it can you get me out?" He asked.

"Not without another set of keys or a saw that cuts through glass." Kami groaned. "What we're going to do it call you an ambulance," Spirit now groaned "And I'll call a cab to get the rest of you us to the ball… Speaking of which why is Kid still here?"

"I wanted to walk in with Ma-chan at my arm." He said sticking his hand out, which Maka looped through hers she gave a small giggle and smiled up at Kid who had a small blush on his cheeks.

"Well this is about 15 years too early." He said causing Spirit to smack himself in the face with his free hand.

"I can get you all a taxi for free, but it will be a little on the… um intense side." Miss Nakase said standing up off the steeps, brushing the imaginary dirt off her house dress.

"We'll honestly take anything we can get right about now." Kami said when she saw the ambulance come around. She nodded to Miss Nakase before going to talk to the medical team coming from the ambulance about what happened. They just speed off to get Spirit to the hospital when six black horses that flashed into bones come by drawing a pure Black victorian carriage behind them. A skeleton drove the carriage who flashed with human skin just as often as the horse flashed it's bones. Maka and Kid ran up to the horses looking really exited as Kami thanked Miss Nakase and said goodbye to her before going towards the carriage(*2*).

"Come on you two, we'll be a little late now due to your father, but since we came extremely early we won't be all too late to the ball." Kid and Maka jumped into the carriage and they went down the streets of the Death City to the DWMA where the horses flew (yes flew) them to the top.

"Why do you keep looking at my Mama?" Maka asked half way through the ball, they were sitting at a special table at the front of the ball where Lord Death and the high heads of the school sat. Maka could see her mother, stein and her father (who showed up five minutes ago with his arm in a cast) at a table half way across the dance floor. Maka had noticed Kid look over there multiple times then back at Maka.

"Well you want the truth?" Maka nodded.

"Of course I want the truth!" Maka said with a small humph.

"Alright, but you have to promise me this, you can't Maka chop me until I finish!" He said holding up his hands to make sure Maka wouldn't do anything.

"I promise on your father." Maka said seriously. Kid nodded before putting his hands down.

"Truth be told, your mother is stunning." He looked over quickly at Maka who was trying her best not to hit Kid. "And since you look more like her, and are just as smart, maybe even smarter than her, that you are going to be even more stunning than your mom now in the future and I don't know how well I'll handle that." Kid said.

"Wait, what do you mean you don't know how you'll handle that?" Maka asked hands on her hips.

"Well, you're already stunning as it is, I don't know how much better you can possibly get." Maka let a small smile grace her face. "Plus, you're my best friend so it's not like you'd be pretty with an ugly personality, you'll be stunning with a stunning personality and I can't deal with that." Maka began to laugh loudly causing some people to look at her, but soon Kid joined in and she didn't care how loud she laughed. She grabbed Kid's face and kissed him on each cheek causing him to flush red.

"Well I guess you made a good choice in a wife!" She teased only causing Kid to flush harder.

"You're not letting that go are you?" Kid asked.

"Nope, still have the ring and everything." She said holding up her hand that wore the skull ring. Kid laughed before holding up his own.

"So do I." He said a small smile gracing his voice. There was a moment of silence before he turned to Maka and said, "Wanna dance?"

"Kid I can't dance! I have no understanding of music and motions at all." Maka said.

"Well good thing my Father made me take Ball Room dancing lessons." He said grabbing her hand and pulling her to the dance floor. He held her one hand then put the other on her hip. His left eye twitched.

"Put your other hand on my hip so we can be symmetrical okay? I'll put my hands on your…" Maka looked confused for a second before Kid took her hands and put them on his shoulder.

"Okay, better, now you ready? Left foot back, right foot back, left foot to the left, right foot to the left…" He said telling her where to put her feet. It was a simple box motion, Maka was able to do the motion but she seemed to step on Kid's feet every third step. He didn't seem to mind since he was so concentrated on trying to tell Maka where to go. Their first dance wasn't successful, neither was their third or fourth. In the middle of their fifth dance Spirit cut in making his little Maka dance with him on his feet.

It was their 8th dance (Kid said it was fate) that they got it right, and why were they able to get it right? Why were they able to dance next to each other, symmetrically, in perfect rhythm, perfectly coordinated? How was it possible? Simple answer!

They were dancing to the Macarena.

When they were done they had dessert back at the main table, joking the entire time before they ended up falling asleep in their seats. Kami and Spirit took Kid and Maka home, detaching their held hands in the back seat Kami gave Kid over to Miss Nakase who was waiting at the door.

"Goodnight, Lady Albarn." Miss Nakase said with a small bow.

"Goodnight, Miss Nakase and um…" Nakase stopped moving to go inside and Kami ran to her side and quickly whispered in her ear "I want to see the dress designs before you do it first, I think my daughter and I have a similar dress style and feel like it would be horrible if you created a dress that she didn't like."

"Will do Lady Albarn, goodnight."

"Goodnight." Kami said back before getting in the carriage and going back home to their small apartment in Death City.

Maka realized she still had the small white dress in the back of her closet, she had asked her father where it had come as well as her mother (in letters) multiple times, but they would never tell her. The most Maka had gotten out of the two of them was a "You'll see" from Spirit and a "She's making your wedding dress" from her Mother.

Maka realized that Miss Nakase must still be here. She realized that all of the undead in the End of All Beginnings, but she did not contemplate that thought to much as she found she would much rather continue to travel through her memories. She went on into the Scrap-book-photo-album-memory-awakening-journal hoping to come closer to the end of their journey together.

"I have to remember where it ends, so I can find out why I didn't know you before." She mumbled herself only hardening her resolve as she flipped the page.

1) Maka's dress on me profile

2) Kami's dress on me profile, only there is no golden belt on the actual dress and no golden jewelry so you gotta use your imagination for that.

Well here you go as promised, sorry for the wait and i hope this makes up for it!

OH and the Carriage is on there as well
