Naruto groaned as he pulled himself up. He was laying in his lavish bed with silk sheets. He groaned again as every movement seemed to set his nerves aflame. Naruto sat up and looked at his bedside table. A small not sat there and he picked it up. There was a red lipstick imprint of a kiss on the front. He opened it and sighed.

Never do that again!

Naruto smirked to himself. She will be going on an all-out heist as payback. Naruto heard the door open and Iruka walked in with a smile. He was carrying a silver tray with cups and a kettle in the middle.

"It seems the prodigal son has returned to us," Iruka said with a smile. "You had us worried."

"Kyuubi stopped the poisons from spreading," Naruto said as he grabbed the cup that Iruka handed him. "Orochimaru is here."

"I know," Iruka said as he handed him a paper. "It seems that the entire team 7 disappeared. Search teams located one of the members severed arm, but Sakura and Sasuke are still missing."

"Orochimaru must have something to do with this," Naruto said as he stood and walked towards the window. "How long was I out?"

"Three days," Iruka said. "The matches have already been set for the finals. Seems our cat burglar wanted to sit this one out."

"Hinata didn't make the finals?" Naruto asked truly alarmed. "What happened?"

"She threw the match," Came another voice. "Iruka-kun there are people at the door looking for Naru-kun."

"Right I will take care of them," Iruka said as he left the room.

"Why would she throw the match?" Naruto asked.

"If we are going to stop Orochimaru," Anko said as she walked into the room. "We will need all the help we can get on the outside of the arena. She knew this going in and played her shy card. Only thing was that she fought her cousin who wanted to set an example. He made her look beyond weak and now the clan elders are threating to seal her for such an improper display."

"She should've known," Naruto said coldly as he huffed. Anko stared at him with a blank look.

"You're just going to let them do that?" Anko asked in disbelief.

"Please," Naruto said with smirk. "She makes me work every night. I think we can make her sweat a bit before I help her."

"You're a cruel man," Anko said with a smile. "But I like that."

"What else can you tell me?" Naruto asked as he watched the sun slowly begin to set.

"We have ANBU watching several foreign teams," Anko said as she stared out the window as well. "But nothing out of the ordinary so far. You may want to watch the team form sand. They crushed the record and there is just something off with that Gaara kid."

"Thanks Anko-nee," Naruto said as he turned towards her. She smirked down at him before delivering a punch to the top of his head.

"Never do that again!" She yelled as she stormed out.

"Yeah," Naruto said with a smirk as he rubbed the now knot on his head. "I'm beginning to hear that a lot."

"You're out late," A voice caused the thief to jump in her boots. She was scouting another heist and was currently standing next to the chimney that she first met Naruto. She spun and launched a clawed hand towards the source. Naruto jumped back with a smirk on his half masked face. Hinata wasn't feeling his playfulness and charged forward with a series of quick kicks and slashes.

"You idiot!" She hissed as they squared off on the roof. Naruto just tilted his head and crossed his arms over his body.

"And to think I thought you'd be happy I'm up and walking around," Naruto said as he gave her a glare. His tinted masked eyes narrowing.

"I'm happy you're up," She said as she charged forward catching him off guard and taking him to the floor. She pinned his arms back quickly as she straddled his chest. "But pissed you're already out here!"

Naruto was about to retort when he was cut off by a clawed finger to his lips. She slowly dragged her finger over his exposed skin while licking her lips. Naruto tried to remove his hands but Hinata tightened her iron grip.

"I just got you back damnit," She whispered as she leaned down towards him. Naruto smiled against her lips as she poured her frustration and love into the kiss. Naruto quickly slipped out of her grip and flipped them around. She let out a chuckle as she stared up at him. "I could get use to this."

"You're hiding something," Naruto said as he stood to his feet.

"You already know don't you?" Hinata answered with a pout. She got to her feet and walked to the railing.

FLASHBACK:

"She will be placed under the Cage Bird Seal," Hiashi said as he addressed the elders. "Her sister, who has shown much progress, will take the role as Clan Heir."

"I couldn't agree more," Said an elder Hyuga. Hiashi nodded and stood to his feet and started to walk towards the door. "When are we seal the failure."

"Tonight," Hiashi answered coldly.

Hinata jumped back from the window and launched herself towards the roof. She took off into the night, her goggles hiding her tears.

FLASHBACK END:

"You know the worst part is that he's my family," She spat. "I still hold this love for him."

"I know how you feel," Naruto said as he closed the distance and encircled her in his arms. She leaned back and began to shake with fear.

"I don't want to go home tonight Naru-kun," She whispered as she looked over her shoulder. "I'm scared."

"Do you trust me," Naruto asked as the sun slowly started to rise in the distance. She stared into his masked eyes and nodded. "Good, go home."

"But…" She stammered as Naruto released his embrace and raised his hand. Wire shot out launching him across the street.

"We are here to commence the sealing process on one Hinata Hyuga," Hiashi said as he stared at his daughter with cold eyes. Hinata was standing in the middle of the room shaking with fear. She kept waiting for something to happen as two of the Hyuga seal specialist stepped forward. She flinched as they started to flash through hand seals and were inches from her face when there was a loud bang. Every eye looked up to see a stumbling Naruto enter the room.

"I'm so sorry I'm late Hinata-chan," Naruto said as he strode across the room looking around a bit oblivious to what was going on. "Um did I interrupt something?"

"Nazimake-sama," Hiashi started slowly as he stood. "You've seem to be lost."

"Oh you see," Naruto said with a chuckle. "Hinata and I have been meaning to catch up. She has been nice enough to accept a breakfast date with me. I was working late last night and over slept our appointment. So in order to make up for that I'm taking her to dinner. But I swear Hiashi-sama that I will never do that again."

"You're courting my daughter?" Hiashi said with a raised brow as the Council broke into fits behind them.

"Only if she will have me?" Naruto said with a charming smile. Hinata saw her in, if she was courting the sole heir of the Namiake clan she can't be sealed. Hiashi seemed to be thinking the same thing as he signaled for the two seal masters to be seated. He looked over at the council who all seemed to be in agreement.

"O-of course Naru-Kun," Hinata said as she fiddled with her fingers. She was shaking with happiness, not only was she not sealed, but Naruto will be her boyfriend. Thoughts began to flood her mind and she smiled over at him. He smirked back knowing there was going to be hell to pay.

"There ya have it," Naruto exclaimed. Hiashi's brows furrowed.

"What if I don't approve," Hiashi asked testing the waters. Naruto turned towards him, his smile never fading.

"That wouldn't be wise," Naruto said as he moved forward with a scroll that appeared in his hands. He handed it over and smirked. "See I can offer you something for something. I don't just aim to court your daughter, she will be forever tied to the Nazimake and Uzumaki family. Kinda big name drop if you catch my drift. She being main heir and having me as a possible husband will do wonders for your clan. That is if she is still clan Heir?"

"Of course she is," Hiashi said in a hurry as he looked at the council.

"Grand," Naruto said as he turned towards Hinata who was shaking silently. He extended his hand and she took it. They strode out the doors and into the night.

"So," Naruto said as he turned towards her. They were walking the streets of the shopping district stopping at various shops and food stands. "Does your dad need you home at a certain time?"

"Naru-kun," Hinata said as she slid up to him. "You've got me all night."

Naruto was about to say something when there was a loud explosion four shops down. Naruto shielded Hinata from the flaming debris as they were lifted off their feet and flown into a small fruit stand. Naruto turned to see a crackling man standing onto of the building across the street of the explosion. His hair was matted and he was accompanied by a pink haired women. The man was wearing a western suit that was deep purple in color. It was worn and dirty with tears and what looked like blood stains on it. His companion was wearing a red and white corset with matching pants, one leg white while the other red. On the pants were diamonds of opposite color etched into the thighs. She had knee high boots of opposite colors as well. She had on light make but darkened her eyes with black and pulled her hair into a pony tail.

"What the hell?" Naruto asked as he looked around. People lay about the streets most of them injured and others dead. The fire was consuming more and more shops in the market district and total pandemonium erupted. Naruto looked down at the girl in his arms and he noticed her licking her lips.

"What is he getting at?" She asked herself. "There is nothing of value in this district. Why would he cause such a mess?"

"I'll go and ask," Naruto said as he pulled her into the one of the alleyways. He pulled back the sleeve of his shirt and pressed his hand to a seal that was tattooed on his forearm. In a poof of smoke he was covered in his armor. Hinata clucked her tongue.

"Convenient," Hinata said with a smirk. "I was hoping for a peep show."

"This will have to do," Naruto said as he assumed his persona. "You head back to my house."

"Hoping to get lucky?" Hinata asked as she leaned up towards him. He smirked as he went to kiss her but another explosion ruined the moment. Naruto raised his hand and flung himself onto the roof. Hinata walked into the street, calm and collected, and walked away from the scene with a smile. "You're gonna be busy for a while, let's see what I can get myself into."

Naruto landed on the roof and coughed. The two turned and Naruto finally got a good look at the maniac bomber.

"Oh ho ho ho!" The man said as he clapped his gloved hands together. "What do we have here dear?"

"I don't know Mr. S!" Said the pigtailed girl. She bounced up to her feet and walked over to Naruto giving him the once over. "He's got on some sort of ballerina suit."

"Oh he is quite the showmen," Said the man as the girl walked around Naruto again this time touching his chest and trailing a hand over his back. "You gonna dance for me now?"

"No," Naruto said as he quickly snatched the girls wrist and tossed her towards the man. "I'm gonna bring you in."

"Hehehehe hahahaha," The man started to crackle with laughter. He dodged the girl that was thrown at him, causing her to fall over the edge. He slowly pulled out a large blade and licked the side. "Oh this should be a fun dance."
