~Sesshomaru~
Mizuki had left the next morning to go visit Rin and hopefully bring her home. I
myself was laying in bed waiting for the door open and someone to announce Rin's
homecoming. My ankle was throbbing again but I couldn't take anymore pain
killers until the evening. I thought back to the accident, it was something I so
badly wanted to forget but every time I saw Rin lying in my arms unconscious it
hurt deeper. I had days where I believed Rin would've been better off with a
different family at least she would've been normal but would she had been happy
that was a different question. I sat up I my bed and grabbed the crutches the
doctor gave me. He told me it was best to wait at least two weeks before walking
around but this was more important. I walked over to the door and left my room
walking down the hallway until I came to the stairs, placing both crutches under
my right arm I carefully descended the stairs. Quietly. I could not let anyone
see me or else they would stopped me. I made it to the bottom and hobbled
towards the main door. This had been easier as anticipated, I opened the door
slowly but then it was slammed shut in my face. I turned around and saw Ricardo
I my face. I could see the anger in his eyes as if I cared. It amused me to see
how much he cared for my safety and took his job seriously unlike all the other
guards.
"Master Sesshomaru, you are not to be up and about." he stated. His face was
emotionless but I could see the anger in his eyes.
"I know Ricardo, I just wish to see Rin." I replied honestly. Ricardo looked at
me a little longer and before I realized it he had lifted me into his arms and
was now carrying me bridal style into the sitting room. I felt embarrassed. "I
demand you put me down this instant!" I ordered, he then sat me down on a nearby
couch and propped me leg up on a couple of pillows. He had a cold demeanor just
like myself most likely the reason I hired him as my personal guard.
"Mi'lord her highness is home." he bowed and walked away. I looked at the
doorway waiting to hear the large oak doors open. I just wanted to see Rin' her
smiling face and big brown eyes. After five minutes I heard the doors open and
footsteps coming closer to me. Mizuki walked in with Rin in her arms asleep. Rin
was adorable when she slept' well she was adorable when she was awake as well.
"How's Rin doing?" I asked as Mizuki laid her down on the couch across from me.
Mizuki placed her hand on her forehead before turning to face me. Her facial
expression looked worrisome .
"She has a slight fever, I asked Jaken to call her pediatrician."she replied and
looked back down at Rin. I placed my hand over my face. All I wanted was for Rin
to feel better. Mizuki walked over to me and laid her hand on my shoulder. I
leaned my head back resting my hand on the back her neck, I pulled her head down
until her lips met mine.
"Kagura lied." I told her. She cocked her head to one side and looked at me with
confusion. When Kagura told me she was pregnant with my pups I could sense a lie
and also she had no smell of my blood anywhere on her. Mizuki gazed into my eyes
I could tell she didn't want to talk about it right now.
"Sesshomaru, I really just don't care anymore." she said. Rin shifted slightly
before letting out a cough and turning away from us. Mizuki went and checked her
forehead again. She looked at me and smiled. "No fever." she smiles. I nodded
and sat up. I looked around for my crutches but didn't see them. Ricardo must've
took them. I cursed him under my breath. Mizuki laughed and when she did I
couldn't help but laugh myself. I had missed her laughing, her smile ,
everything, I knew Mizuki was the one for me.

Sesshomaru tries to explain what happened with him and Kagura but I didn't want
to hear it. Not now at least when Rin wasn't at her healthiest. I do love
Sesshomaru and I do want to be with him, but he has to choose. I ran upstairs to
my room and took a shower and changed clothes. after tying my hair up in a bun I
ran back downstairs to then sitting room. some how Sesshomaru had managed to get
on the other couch where Rin was ans was now laying down asleep with her in his
arms. I smiled at image of the father and daughter moment they have. Sesshomaru
was going to make a great father to his own pups. I laid my hand on my stomach
and the pups started to kick. I giggled and sat down in the chair nearest to the
couch Rin and Sesshomaru laid. I picked up a nearby book
"The Mysterious Wonders." I read aloud. I opened the book and started to read.
It wasn't until. had made it to chapter to that Rin begin to stir and I met her
brown eyes gazing at me.
"Why hello love." I greeted. She looked at me with no expression before looking
down at the sleeping Sesshomaru. She giggled.
"Daddy sleeping." she whispered. she tried to climb down from laying on his
stomach but his grasp was too tight. She started to tickle his nose but he
didn't react. She tried again to get out of his grasp but couldn't and started
to struggle.
"Sesshomaru." I smiled. I knew he was awake, he opened one of is eyes and looked
I my direction before closing it. Rin continued with the struggle before
beginning to whine. Sesshomaru finally woke up and released his grip on her. I
enjoyed watching Sesshomaru and Rin bond, especially all that has happened to
them. Rin made Sesshomaru complete and everybody knew this. Sesshomaru started
to tickle Rin and she laughed hysterically until Ryoku came in.
"Your Highness, you have a visitor." he announced and left. He looked at me and
mouthed something before leaving. A woman with black hair walked in with a
ponytail and red blood eyes.
"Kagura..." I breathed. What was she doing here? I looked at Sesshomaru who
looked as interested in to know why Kagura was here as well. Rin coward in fear
and now wanted to be held by Sesshomaru but he was too interested in Kagura to
notice. "Rin come here." I extended my hand. She ran over to me and I cuddled
her in my lap.
"Kagura, why are you here?" Sesshomaru growled. I wonder what caused the change
in his mood. So suddenly he wanted to be around her but now he'd rather kick her
to the curb. 'Do what's best Sesshomaru.' I thought to myself.
"The babies missed you." she pouted and laid her hand on her flat stomach. We
both knew tat she wasn't even pregnant, it was just another excuse to keep
Sesshomaru around. I couldn't sniff any kind of honey or milk on her.
"Kagura, we all know you're not pregnant cut the crap." I said. She glared at me
and then looked down at my stomach.
"Oh, so just because you slept with the Prince the first night and got knocked
up you think you're the only one that he can marry." she said. I looked at
Sesshomaru who seemed to be getting upset, but not at the fact of her lying but
at the fact Rin was still in the room.
"Kagura leave...Now!" he ordered. She chuckled and sat down in the chair next
to the end of the couch, she ran her fingers up and down his leg splint. She
started to laugh but then she had a serious look on her face.
"No." she said coldly and pushed his leg off the edge of couch. I heard a crack
that made myself flinch. Sesshomaru clinched his teeth as his body jerked.
"Security!" He yelled. Three tall broad men ran in wearing black with
sunglasses. One of them I think to believe his personal bodyguard.
"Please escort Kagura out." he ordered. They nodded. They grabbed her by her
arms and dragged her out.
"Fine, I know the tabloids would love this story!"Kagura blurted out. He held
out his hand to pause the men.
"What story?" he narrowed his eyes.
"The story of how you got two women knocked up but won't marry neither of them."
she smiled. How could Kagura even plan to go so low and ruin Sesshomaru's
reputation. "Marry me and I'll keep my mouth shut." she replied. My blood began
to boil. How dare she come in and try to blackmail the Prince with a lie. Rin's
hands squeezed tighter around my neck. She didn't want Kagura to be her mother
or guardian.
"Sesshomaru-sama."Rin whispered with a cry. Sesshomaru stayed quiet to everyone
else he was thinking but I knew he had already had his choice.
"Escort Kagura out and make sure to contact all tabloids and tell them about her
plot." he said. Kagura was dragged out cursing and screaming. Rin jumped out my
arms and over to Sesshomaru hugging him.
"You do care." she smiled. Sesshomaru smiled and looked down at his happy
daughter. I couldn't help but smile at the moment. As I walked over to sit next
to Sesshomaru a sharp pain filled my stomach as I fell down on my knees. It
can't be time already. No it wasn't not yet at least. I heard Sesshomaru
screaming my name as I blacked out.
