Percy's POV

I summoned all my will but I was too late.

"NOOOOOOOOO!" I sceamed. I dove to

protect Annabeth but Backbiter entered her chest.

Luke , blue eyes and all, staggered back.

"What have I done," Luke gasped. "YOU KILLED

ANNABETH! Now it's my turn to kill YOU!

I yelled at Luke. I grabbed Riptide and

threw it at him like a javalin. It shattered hamlessly

against his chest. I did the same with Backbiter. It

missed Luke but an inch but luckily hit the fountain

behind him. The fountain burst and sparyed water

everywhere including on me. With the new burst

of energy I picked up Annabeth's knife and threw it at

Luke. It hit right beside his armpit ,and even though

it wasn't a deep cut he howled in pain. Just then the

gods charged in and blasted the room to bits.

Thankfully they don't have as much accurecy as I

expected. Though Hermes did hit Luke about seven

times. "APOLLO, HADES come quick," I yelled

franticly. They both instantly materialized next to

me and Annabeth. Hades almost instantly said:

"I'm sorry Percy, she's gone." I looked hopefully

at Apollo. "There's nothing left to do, i'm sorry."

I took out a small velvet box and through it into the

hearth. All the gods plus Grover gasped. "Great,

Annabeth is dead and so is Luke." "Wait Luke is dead

, finally, I hated that kid." Hermes admited. "I'm sorry

Athena, but, at least you get your wish." with that I

jumped through one of the broken windows and free-

fell toward earth. "NOOOOOO!" I heard Posiedon,

Grover, And Tyson yell in sync.

TWO DAYS LATER

CAMP-HALF BLOOD

Grover's POV

Everybody mourned at Percy and Annabeth's burial

ceremony, then we all had fun trashing Luke's dead body.

To be nice we buried Percy and Annabeth together. Also

I went on a quest to the underworld to talk to both of them,

and to make sure Luke got to the feilds of punishment

nice and safely(NOT!). So, I got to Percy first and said:

"Hey, Percy's Ghost I-" Percy's Ghost cut me off. "Just

call me Percy," Percy said. "OK Percy, so I wanted to

tell you that Luke got put into the fields of punishment

and wanted to ask if I should tell Annabeth about the

ring?"I asked Percy. "NO!" Percy yelled. "OK, I'm on

my way, well bye and i'm glad you made it to Elysium

oh and about that Tyson wanted to know if your going

to try for rebirth?" "Yes I am and tell Clarisse that Silena

is to." So on that good note Grover ventured off to find

Annabeth.

Once I got there I knew somthing was wrong, though I

couldn't put my finger on it.

"Hey Annabeth," I said. "Hi ,Grover" she said glumly

"What's wrong?" which was probably a stupid question

because she just died. "I just can't belive that the big

idiot killed me."DING, DING, DING, we have a winner.

"Percy is trying for rebirth and he didn't say it but I could

sense that he wanted you to too." I said. "Why do you

say that?" she asked. "Well, first because i'm a satyr,

I can sense emotions, second, we have an empathy link

I can sense his thoughts, and third, well, after Hades

confirmed you were dead and Apollo said he couldn't

heal you, he took out a proposal ring and threw it into

the hearth." I grinned. If ghost's could blush I was sure

she did. "But don't tell Percy I told you or else he

will haunt me for eternity." I stated. "Got it," she said.

Then she left, probably to go have a chat with Percy.
