AN: Sorta skipping forward a lot for this chapter, but it has to be done. And speaking of done, last chapter! I hope anyone who still reads this has enjoyed it, and I hope the ending isn't too corny. I like happy endings.

OOOOO

It was five weeks after Joey went home that Larrin found herself in the North Pole again. She was showing signs of early labor, so naturally Kozmotis had freaked out and pleaded for North's help. North was the only doctor the Ex-Nightmare King knew. And North had been more than happy to have Larrin back in Santoff Claussen, where he could be sure she was safe. He has swept her off into an exam room the moment she arrived, a room being prepped as soon as the communication from Koz reached the North Pole. The others were trying to not act as frustratingly curious as they in fact were as they stood around the massive fireplace, waiting for word on Larrin's condition. And there was no mistaking the success written on Seraphina's face as she watched the Guardians interact with quite a reformed Pitch Black.

"Still going by Pitch these days, or otherwise?" Tooth asked hopefully, fluttering around him curiously, taking in his tan skin and brown hair and green eyes. His face was still Pitch's, but softer and more human. He looked the way he did before the shadows.

"Uh, just Koz actually." He shrugged, scratching his head. Sera beamed, but disguised it with a smug arch of her eyebrow. She knew Kozmotis was in there still, and now they knew it too. She loved being right.

"Have you and Larrin picked a name yet?" Tooth asked like the little gossip she was. They were all still pretty annoyed at Pitch's actions, but there was nothing they could do about it now. Especially since they weren't dealing with Pitch anymore. Larrin would be having a baby, and possibly sooner than later. And, being the motherly spirit she was, Tooth couldn't resist anything having to do with babies.

"I haven't, I'm letting her decide. And she says I won't know until he or she is born." Koz explained, looking a little nervous. He knew Larrin would pick a good name for the baby, but he really did wish he knew what that name would be.

It was at this point that North came running, motioning for Sandy and Tooth to follow him, before disappearing again, a group of yetis also following. Koz wanted to follow after as well, but restrained himself. He knew he'd be no help. Instead he settled in a chair, nervously tapping his feet. Jack, Bunny, and Sera all remained standing, looking between each other with a mix of amusement and awe.

"He's really changed, hasn't he." Bunny murmured.

"You have no idea. And let me tell you, Larrin knew exactly what she was doing the whole time." Jack whispered back. Luckily Koz was too busy thinking to hear them.

"Do ya think he's actually in love with her? Like a reverse Stockholm Syndrome?" Bunny quirked an eyebrow, looking between Seraphina and Jack.

"No doubt in my mind. He's 100% a sucker for her. I mean she saved his life and now is having his kid, so..." Seraphina supplied. "But the thing is, she doesn't love him. She still hates him. Despite him not being Pitch anymore, she'll never be able to get over what Pitch did. I'm just worried about what it'll do to Koz when he realizes as much." She frowned, looking at her father with heavy eyes.

"Well can you blame her? He did kinda mess her up. For two years." Jack stated angrily.

"No, I can't blame her. But I mean, I wish there was something we could do. For the baby at the very least." She glanced at Jack as she said it. She knew that Jack and Larrin had a thing. She'd caught the two of them cuddling while Koz was out one day. And she knew that they intended to raise the baby together. Well...when the baby wasn't with Koz. It still kinda annoyed her that her spirit son was stealing a girl from his spirit grandfather. It all seemed very soap opera to her.

"The baby will be fine." Jack hissed, not appreciating how opposed Seraphina was to him and Larrin being together.

"I'm missing something." Bunny pointed out, quite obviously. Neither immortal answered him. Instead Sera held herself tall and stalked off to find the medical room. She got half way there before almost literally running into Tooth.

"Oh good Seraphina! Larrin is going into labor. Will you go get her parents and brother? I think they'd want to be here for this. Thanks!" She explained quickly before shooting off back towards the...delivery room. Holy shit! She had to tell Koz! But...she needed to get Larrin's family first. She quickly summoned a gale of wind to take her to Larrin's home, where she found all three of the family members sitting in the living room. Joey wasn't surprised at the appearance of Mother Nature, but his parents sure as hell were.

"Hi Seraphina." Joey greeted with a sad smile. He had been kept up to date on things happening by Seraphina, but that didn't mean he didn't wish he could be with his sister as the things were happening. He missed her. And he hoped she'd be coming home soon.

"Uh...Joey?" His dad murmured. His parents were more curious about who it was standing in their home, than the random appearance. After meeting Santa Clause, the Easter Bunny, and Jack Frost, they weren't very alarmed anymore.

"This is Mother Nature. She's been keeping me informed on what's happening with Larrin. Is something wrong? You look kinda in shock." He pointed out. A wild grin spread on the beautiful woman's face and she shook her head.

"Larrin is in labor." She said happily. All three mortal's mouths dropped as their brains stuttered to understand what she was saying. Joey recovered the quickest and started grinning madly too.

"Can we see her? Are you gonna take us to her?" He asked, bouncing in his seat. She nodded, summoning the wind again, creating a mini tornado in their home. When the wind faded they found themselves in the same room as Jack, Bunny, and Koz. Though they only recognized two of them. "Whoa! Who preformed the extreme makeover?" Joey joked as he realized that the third person was in fact Pitch.

"Larrin." Jack said simply. "This is Kozmotis Pitchiner. He's the father of your grandchild." Jack told Larrin's parents. A deep scowl settled on both their faces.

"You're the one who took her from us? Twice?" Her dad growled.

"No actually, he's not. Pitch Black took Larrin and Pitch Black impregnated her, through magic might I add. This, like Jack said, is Kozmotis Pitchiner. This is the good man who was corrupted by shadows a long long time ago, through no fault of his own, and who is back because of Larrin." Seraphina explained desperately. Still, Koz sunk into his seat looking very guilty.

"I know you must all hate me for what I've done. I hate me for what I've done! But I was not in control of myself until very recently. I was being controlled by evil spirits called Fearlings and Nightmares." Koz added. Joey and Larrin's parents looked to their son for confirmation, which he gave. He knew the story of what happened to Kozmotis and how he became the Boogeyman, and while he sympathized, that didn't make him like the man anymore than he already did...or didn't. But he didn't want to see this supposedly innocent guy get beat up by his parents for things his corrupted side did. Seraphina gave him a smile of appreciation.

"Well where is she?" Joey asked after a tense moment of glares and guilty sorrow. Seraphina, glad for the change of subject, nodded towards the hallway with a smile.

"Family only for the delivery." She stated when the three immortals tried to follow as well. Koz, with a frown, collapsed back into his seat. Jack and Bunny too found themselves sitting nervously as the three mortals followed Mother Nature to the Delivery Room.

"Do you think she'll be okay?" Koz asked nervously. Bunny and Jack exchanged looks but smiled.

"North's the best medical man I know. She'll be fine." Bunny reassured. Sure enough, not two hours later, Seraphina was back to invite them to meet the newest immortal in the North Pole. Larrin looked up as the door opened to admit Koz, Bunny, and Jack. In her arms was a little baby wrapped in a blue blanket. Her parents and brother were all crowded on one side of her bed, while North, Sandy, and Tooth stood to the other side.

"This is Leo." She said quietly, brushing back the blanket a bit so the new comers could see her tiny little baby. A relieved smile, full of love and happiness spread over Koz's face as he cautiously stepped up to her bedside and tenderly touched his son's cheek. Larrin immediately offered him the baby to hold, since he was the father after all. Jack took his place next to Larrin while Koz held Leo, smiling at her and kissing her forehead, which was still damp with exertion.

"Quick delivery." He pointed out, remembering that babies usually took a lot longer than two hours to be born.

"Not exactly a normal baby. Plus, he was small, so he just kinda...came out." Seraphina explained. Larrin smiled, but everyone could tell she was exhausted. Jack and the mortals stayed with her as she fell asleep, the others moving out to the workroom with the newborn so she could get some sleep.

"So Sera mentioned you and Larrin are gonna raise Leo together." Joey said with a sly wink.

"When he's not with Koz. Joint custody after all." Jack shrugged. "I heard from North that he had another wing constructed on the place for you and your parents, should you want to stay here with us." Joey looked to his parents, who were still a bit shell shocked over the events of the last few hours. But, they all knew that they didn't want to ever leave Larrin again. And frankly, it was the North Pole. Who wouldn't want to live in the North Pole? Once they were sure she was asleep, the four of them migrated out to the other room to adore Leo with the rest of them. And Larrin slept, more soundly and deeply than she had ever slept before.

OO Three Years Later OO

Leo grabbed hold of his mother's hand and pulled her along as he set his sights on a pretty purple flower. They were visiting the Warren, and that meant plenty of things to hold his short attention span. Jack followed after Larrin, their hands twined together, as his step-son dragged her all over the place. But Koz, rather than trail along with his son and the woman who gave birth to the boy, was sitting at a picnic table with Sera, Joey, and Larrin's parents, watching from a distance. And the Guardians were all amusing themselves with different tasks, such as barbecuing and place setting.

"He's so quick. It's a wonder they can even keep up with him." Larrin's mom said with a smile, watching her grandson grab the flower and move on to another one. Apparently he was constructing a bouquet, probably for his immortal mother. MiM had made Larrin an immortal for her 18th birthday, as a way of saying, 'Sorry I never interfered before now'.

"He would be a great soccer player. He's be too fast for anyone to block him." Joey stated. He had recently started forming a yeti soccer team at the pole, as a way of relaxing after a long day of tutoring from North and Sandy.

"Maybe when he's older." Larrin's father said with a smile. He was a sucker for children, and Leo had him wrapped around his little pinkie.

"So when are you gonna move into the Pole, Koz?" Larrin's mom asked, turning her attention to Koz and Sera, who sat across from them. Koz looked a little started, being put on the spot like that. North had started inviting him to live at the Pole only a year after Leo was born. It would make it easier for them to all see Leo, he justified, but really he wanted Koz there. The man had been a great guy before the shadows got him, and he was that great guy again now. But Koz had hesitated to accept, because he still felt guilty about all he'd done as Pitch black. Recently though, Larrin had been asking him to move in as well. She still wasn't completely over Pitch, but she recognized that Leo loved Koz, and that it would be better for him to be around more. And, as always, Koz was powerless to deny Larrin. So he'd said yes, but was now dragging out the move.

"Uh, soon." He said vaguely.

"I'm trying to get him to hurry, but he's being so stubborn." Sera said with a scowl at her father. She'd started living in the Lair with her dad after Leo was born, to help him take care of the baby when Leo was there. There was no getting rid of her.

"Soon." Koz said again, with a small smile.

"Food's ready!" Bunny shouted from where he and North were cooking. Immediately the table was filled, waiting only for Leo, Larrin, and Jack, who slowly made their way back. Leo, at this point, had an armful of colorful flowers, which he gave to Larrin with a sweet smile.

"Centerpiece's ready." Larrin joked, arranging the flowers in a perfect pile at the center of the picnic table. She sat Leo down between her and Koz, giving him as good a smile as she could. Even three years later couldn't fix what was broken between the two of them. It would take many, many more years to mend that chasm. But, luckily they had that time. And Leo was the bridge between the two of them, until that time.

"Well, let's sing to the Birthday Boy, shall we." Sera suggested. That grin of success she had the day of Leo's birth was back, only this time without the snarky coverup. Everything was so much better now. She had her father back, everyone was together and happy, and Leo in and of himself was enough to make everyone happy. Things were better, and they were gonna stay that way. She, and all the others, were sure of it.

OOOOO

I hope I covered everything and answered all the questions that might've been asked. If not, let me know and I can do an epilogue or something. But, if you're happy with how it ended, please let me know anyway. Thank you for reading, and farewell.
