8/29/13 UPDATE:
Hellooo, people of the Tsubasa fandom on FFnet (and maybe, maaaaybe if I'm lucky, other people on FFnet)! I stumbled upon my profile page earlier today and felt obligated to give you guys an update.
It has certainly been a while since I posted the last chapter, hasn't it? Four and a half years now, to be precise. Sometimes I do stop to think about the readers I may have upset.
Allow this "chapter" to be an apology of sorts. A writer dropping off the face of the earth with absolutely no warning or explanation—mid-story, I might add—is probably one of the most annoying things about reading web-based stories. Heck, I'm pretty pissed at myself for neglecting both my readers and my story for close to five years.
I wonder how many readers, old and knew, would continue to read this story if I were to start writing new chapters again. I can't expect everyone to jump back on the bandwagon, right? I mean, that'd definitely be nice. I am all for that.
But y'all have your own lives, and most of the older followers probably don't even spend time on FFnet anymore. Really, I feel pretty old. 4 years. Where the frack did the time go?
So here's the big, fat point: I might start writing this thing again. It may be a different style, it may be a different story from the one I'd originally planned—who knows?
