I KIND OF LOST WHERE I WAS GOING WITH THIS SOTRY BUT ONCE I GOT TO THE END I REMEMBERED WHERE I WANTED TO TAKE IT, SORRY ITS BEEN SUCH A LONG TIME BUT WORK HAS BEEN REALLY BUSY THE LAST FEW MONTHS WITH THE OPENING OF A NEW STORE. BUT HERE IT IS AND I HOPE TO HEAR FROM YOU GUYS.
Once at school Alek parked close to the entrance, his group was already waiting for him by the door.
"See you guys in class" he said and made his way to his friends.
"I don't know why he bothers with them, he doesn't even like them" Jasmine said
"They can't be all that bad" I said following her to the office to get my paper work.
The morning was quite nothing really happened, I sat with Jasmine in my classes and Alek with his friends but I could feel his eyes always on me. My feeling for him was still cloudy but I couldn't have a relationship with him or any other Mai guy right now. I couldn't stop thinking about Brad calling me the other night and I knew it would be a matter of time before he found out where I was and I needed to be ready for that. The bell had just rung ending English and starting lunch.
"Chloe how about we sit outside for lunch today?" Jasmine asked
"Sure let me buy something" I said making my way to the line
"Chloe, over here" Alek said waving to where he was
"Does he want us to eat with him?" I whispered
"I guess" Jasmine said
"I can't deal with jocks and blonds for a whole hour" I said, Jasmine laughed and I saw Alek looking at us with a smirk. I tuned in to see what his table was talking about since some of the guys were looking at me and one girl couldn't stop giving me the bitch face.
"So Alek where did you find her?" one guy asked
"Find who?" he asked
"The new girl" he answered
"Chloe? She's an old friend" he said, we never thought about what to tell people if they ask how we know each other
"Cool, is it ok if we take a go at your old friend?" another guy asked
"No, she's off limits to all of you" he told them before getting up and walking towards us. I had told Jasmine what happened and she was equally bothered. We spend the rest of lunch outside laughing and making jokes while sitting under a tree. It was fun until the cheerleader that gave me the bitch face came over.
"Hey Alek, Jasmine" she said
"Hi Mimi" Alek said not even looking up at her
"And you are?" she asked
"A friend" I said
"No name friend?" she asked with a little bit more attitude
"Nope" I said
"So I'm going to see tonight at training?" she asked Alek
"No, Jasmine and I have other things to do. We send Max and Adam to do the training tonight" he told her, so I got the impression she was Mai.
"What do you have to do that's so important?" she asked
"Mimi, go away" Jasmine said
"Dude your questions are really annoying" I said, I feel like I entered an interrogation room
"No one said anything to you" she said
"Relax Mimi, we have other stuff to do and I don't know why you're asking" Alek said
"Because Alek, we are..." he cut her off before she let a breath
"We are nothing Mimi, you made sure of that. You guys lunch is almost over lets go get our stuff so we can go to class. Bye Mimi" Alek said while helping me up and then Jasmine. We walked away from her but I knew that whatever happened between them she wasn't going to let it go, I guess I'm not the only one with a crazy ex.
In the last two classes I was seated in front Alek, it went by fast but it was interesting. I got my first project and we could do it in teams or by our self. Alek, Jasmine and I were going to work on it together. My first week in a new school and I had a ton of homework, a project and a long weekend. After school we went to the coffee shop and then to my place. I had emailed Meredith telling her about my first day and then sat to do some homework.
"If you guys have other things to do go ahead, I don't mind" I said as I watch them check the time
"No Jasmine is just waiting for her mom to call" Alek said
"How about the training? Isn't that important?" I asked
"Not really my mom has others that can do it" Jasmine said
"Have you guys told Valentina yet about me?" I asked
"We hoped you would do that when she got back" Jasmine said
"I'll think about but that doesn't mean I'm part of your pride. I still feel the same way" I told them
"That's fine, but you should know that we are here if you need anything Chloe" Jasmine said
"Yup, got that. So Alek what's up with you and that Mimi chick?" I asked hoping to change the conversation
"Nothing, why are you jealous?" he asked with a smirk
"No, you know about me and my crazy ex" I said
"Well we dated a few times during the summer but that's it. She wasn't anything that big for me. A summer fling if you want to call it something. But she also liked having more than one guy on her plate" Alek said
"Oh damn she cheated?" I asked
"To cheat we would have had to be in a relationship and we weren't so no but I like to be the only guy" he said
"Well just so you know in my life right now, in this moment. You are the only guy" I said smiling
"Good, let's keep it that way" he said
"Alright if I didn't know any better I would say that was a declaration of love you two. Let's get our homework done. Chloe after we finish how about you stay with us the rest of the week" Jasmine said
"Yeah I guess I can do that" I said
"Ok" Jasmine said, I turned back to my homework but Jasmine made sense it did sound like a declaration of love or a declaration of something when I said that to Alek but it was in a friendly way nothing romantic. He is the only guy in my life right now, well besides Frank but it's far away. My phone rang again and I saw it was a different number and froze
"Chloe?" Jasmine said
"I think it's him" I said still looking at my phone
"Chloe I think we should change your number" Jasmine said standing next to me
"I think we should get her a new phone and throw this one in the ocean or something" Alek said
"Yeah let's do that" I said getting up and grabbing my bag
"Chloe let's do that tomorrow" Jasmine said
"No, I'm doing it now. He could be tracking this phone right now and that's why he's calling" I said. On our way to a phone store I called Meredith and Frank and told them I was getting a new that my old one had gotten messed up and I needed a new one. I told Frank what was going on and he agreed.
"Let's get back to the house and get your stuff so we can help home" Alek said, we made it to the hall way of my apartment. Alek had pushed me behind him, when I looked around him I saw the door of my apartment open but no noise was coming from inside. The apartment itself was a mess, everything was turned upside down. I called the police and then Jasmine called her mom; we made the police report and made our way to their house.
"Who could have done that?" Jasmine asked
"My guess is one" Alek said
"Mine's two, damn it! He found me. Now I need to find a new apartment maybe even a new city" I said looking out the window
"Chloe, you're not leaving. We will figure this out when my mom gets here, she put Mai's on the roof of your apartment to keep watch in case someone comes back and said for you to stay with us until she gets back in two days" Jasmine said, Alek just looked at her and nodded
"I think that's best Chloe" he said
"Fine but once she gets here and we talk, I'm leaving there is no way I am going to put anyone in danger" I said
