Alright! Last chapter just like I promised! Hope you enjoy the epic fight of Funimation vs. 4Kids!

Chapter 9

A couple anime characters stepped forward and some of the voice actors asked if they were okay first before they started their story. "Okay, so you know that 4Kids was after Hetalia right? Well, we found them in our house in the morning, and apparently we're the only kids who can see them, which is freaking awesome by the way. So we went to rescue the Baltics after we reunited with Russia (and a day of them coming to school with us, that was fun). And then-"

Takonna held up his hand, "Arty...you're babbling again," he said with a sigh.

"Oops," Artemis said sheepishly.

Astrid sighed, "Basically what we're trying to say is, we just barely managed to escape with all the nations from 4Kids HQ. We had to crash the plane into the building because they were chasing us with a tank."

"...They've been busy." Eric said, glancing around at the cast of Hetalia before spotting America and running over. "Dude, sorry about your plane."

America shrugged. "It's cool man, it's 4Kids' fault anyway."

A few of the other voice actors went over to the characters they voiced to make sure they were okay as well when the director Scott Sager stepped up to the siblings, "It's not everyday that we come across anime fans who can see the characters," he said.

"Actually, how can we see them and not everyone else; 'cause we've already been through some pretty awkward situations because of that," Takonna said.

"Yeah how come?" Artemis asked, crossing her arms in an attempt to look tough, looking at Scott.

"Well, this would actually be a first..." he said, "The voice actors here can see the characters because when they voice them, they have to connect with the character to make the voice work. We've never met normal people, let alone children, who could see them." he explained.

"I've got a theory." Takonna said. "We've always been huge fans of anime since Astrid introduced us to it. It's another thing that brings the three of us together. We're always excited to see new stuff come out. And really, we're looked at as weird by a good number of people. But I think it's because we feel like we can relate to the characters, and see them as real people is the reason we can see them."

"Took ya long enough to get to that last part." Artemis muttered, earning a playful punch from Takonna and an eyeroll with a smile from Astrid. "That's it!"

Artemis tackled her brother, laughing, and Astrid knelt down and put them both in a headlock, "My life would be so boring without you two!" she said with a laugh.

The three of started a war to be on the top of a dog pile, closely followed by Italy and America, then a few others until it turned into an anime-style whackfest. Everyone had ridiculously big smiles on their faces until some of the anime characters, the voice actors, and the director noticed a 4Kids missile coming straight for the hole in the wall (America's plane had fallen out of the wall a few minutes beforehand). Before they knew what was happening, Britain, America, and Germany threw themselves in front of them, sending all six flying to the opposing wall. The voice actors and the director had been shielded by the remainder of the anime characters in the room. The three nations shielding the siblings jumped back in panic, seeing that the kids weren't moving (they'd hit their heads on the wall when they flew back). Germany quickly checked each for a pulse. "They're fine. Let's move them somewhere else until they wake up though."

"They just don't quit do they?" Tod said as he, Eric and, Luci carefully picked the siblings up and carried them to a safer room.

In the other room, the anime characters were pulling out their weapons, ready to fight. They waited with baited breath until 4Kids guards and anime abominations started pouring into the room.

Fifteen minutes of epic anime battle later...

Takonna groaned and rubbed his head as his eyes cracked open. It looked like he had ended up in some kind of office and he spotted his sisters lying a few feet away from him. Astrid woke up next, followed closely by Artemis. The three of them just stared at each other for a moment before running out of the room and down the hall. It didn't take them long to find the source of the sound of many anime battles going on at once, but it wasn't a pretty sight to see.

Apparently the 4Kids anime versions were stronger than they looked despite all their censors, but that was mostly due to the fact that they were carrying MACHINE GUNS AND MISSILE LAUNCHERS! (WTF?!) Artemis turned to Takonna. "Can you pull anything useful outta thin air?" she asked, her eyes flicking to the Hetalia cast facing off a bunch of 4Kids guards, "Actually, some sort of shield would be good right now."

Takonna looked around for something to use as a weapon, finally settling on three laser blasters hanging on the wall. "Catch." he said, tossing the other two to his siblings before firing at the 4Kids army. They easily shot down the guards attacking Hetalia and nodded to each other before splitting off into different directions.

Astrid looked over and spotted Allen Walker, Leenalee, Lavi and Kanda all struggling with a 4Kids tank that had the great courtesy of smashing through the freakin' wall. Allen's arm was having no effect on it; in fact none of their weapons were even putting a scratch on it. Inside the tank, Astrid could see 4Kids guards taking aim as a one came out of the top of the tank with a sniper rifle, "You know, for a company that censors violence and makes weapons invisible, they sure use a lot of guns," Astrid said to herself.

The guard took aim and tried to shoot down the four exorcists and was about to shoot Allen, but luckily, Krory jumped in at the last minute and landed a kick to the guards head, knocking the rifle out of his hands. Astrid took this moment to sneak closer to the tank while forming a plan; it looked like they would have to attack the inside if the tank if they wanted to win this. Astrid stood up just in time to see the tank throw Krory off and take aim at the exorcists.

There was a loud boom and they were blown back by the explosion from the tank's missiles.

"Are you alright?!" A frantic voice called. Astrid turned to see Miranda running towards them as the tank took aim again. The five exorcists were bruised badly and blood beginning to soak their hair. Astrid stepped in front of the group and loaded her laser, "Use your innocence to heal them Miranda; I'll handle these clowns," she said. Miranda nodded and activated her innocence causing the wounds on the exorcists to vanish while Astrid took aim.

Astrid bit her lip and fired; the laser went inside the mouth of the tank's firing mechanism. There was silence, until loud explosions could be heard from inside as the tank blew up from the inside completely. Astrid lowered her gun with a satisfied smirk, "You screw with anime, you screw with me," she said.

Takonna ran off towards the cast of Soul Eater, who were facing off the cast of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. "Ohhhh no. This will not stand." he said, adjusting the settings on his laser and firing it at the cast of Yugi-Oh! GX, grunting slightly in annoyance when he missed and hit the wall instead.

To sum up what happened next, Takonna readjusted his aim, pulled the trigger, and fired a huge blast at the cast of Yugi-Oh! GX. When the light cleared from the laser, there were smouldering anime remains, and a large hole in the wall left over from the explosion. The remains slowly then melted into liquid and once again reformed the characters with confused looks on their faces.

"Where are we? What happened?" Jaden asked out loud. Takonna was about to blast them again when Syrus spoke up,

"I don't know aniki; I don't remember anything,"

They were speaking Japanese! They were back to their original uncensored stages! "So that's what happens to characters censored by 4Kids," Takonna said, "I guess it didn't work with Sonic X because that show is so old." (I decided to be nice to GX, mostly just cause the original gets pretty freakin dark later in the series; seriously, Yubel torturing the people who lost to Jayden in a duel when he was a kid causing him to almost go insane? Holy shit!)

Artemis was helping out the cast of FMAB as they faced off against more guards. This went quickly, as the Elric brothers, Mustang, Armstrong, and several other characters were already pretty good at fighting, and they had their alchemy on their side. Artemis had smiled and gave Ed a high-five before running back over to her older siblings. Her face instantly darkened when she and Astrid spotted Yuma and a few other characters from Yugi-Oh! Zexal coming towards them. "Ohhhh this is bad..." Takonna muttered.

"Set phasers to vaporize men; we're not showing any mercy on these punks!" Astrid snarled.

Artemis looked at her sister, "Phasers? Really?" Astrid shrugged, "I'm a nerd, what're you gonna do?"

"Nothing, since I'm a nerd too. Let's get 'em!"

The two girls adjusted their lasers and started firing like mad at the cast of Yugi-Oh! Zexal. "YOU ARE A DISGRACE TO THE NAME OF ANIME! NOW DIE!" Astrid yelled.

Takonna turned to everyone else, who was watching the two sisters, dumbfounded. "I apologize on their behalf, for the damage we're causing your building..." he muttered quietly, imagining a little sweatdrop appearing on the side of his head.

Scott gave a good natured laugh. "S'okay. But, shouldn't we stop them?" he asked.

"Um, Arty's probably okay to stop but Astrid...yeah actually just stay away from them for a bit. They need to blow off some steam anyway." Takonna replied nonchalantly.

The rest of the characters and 4Kids goons just watched, dumbfounded, as Artemis and Astrid totally destroyed the cast of Yugi-Oh! Zexal.

Eventually, the only obstacle was a certain leader of 4Kids, who was presently glaring at the siblings, fun in hand. Takonna used his iPhone to teleport himself, Astrid, Artemis, and Mel to the roof. This was their fight after all.

Artemis was clutching her lazer-gun-thing tightly, slightly shivering from anxiety, in both hands, copying her two siblings and pointing it at Mel. The maniacal leader of 4Kids ran at them, easily disarming each and pulling Astrid into a headlock, his gun pointed at her temple. "Come now children, it's about time you gave up, isn't it?" He said mockingly.

Artemis and Takonna glared at him defiantly, but they were obviously too scared to do anything. Artemis's eyes were darting from Mel's gun, to the man himself, to Astrid, and back again. Takonna and Artemis looked at each other, and nodded. They were about to take a huge risk, but it had to work. Running up to Mel, Takonna swept his leg under him, causing him to lose his balance, and his grip on Astrid. Artemis ran up and punched him hard in the chest, sending him off the edge. Afterwards, she ran back to Astrid. "Are you okay?" She asked, hugging her tightly.

Astrid sighed and hugged her back, "I'm fine; thanks for the save." she said.

"I wouldn't celebrate yet guys," Takonna said looking slightly over the edge, "The guy's an anime character remember? Falling off a building won't kill him off that easily."

The girls nodded, got to their feet and got their guns at the ready next to their brother. Mel rose up over the building, causing the three to facepalm. Of course, they'd forgotten he could fly!

The three siblings quickly began to charge their lazer-guns as Mel held up his gun that glowed and transformed into a scythe causing Astrid to roll her eyes, "Soul Eater much? Plagiarist!" she spat causing an anger mark to appear on Mel's head, "I've had enough of you brats!" he yelled and flew towards them.

"JESUS!" Takonna yelled as they barely avoided being decapitated by the scythe causing them to drop their lazer-guns. They ended up on the ground and rolled away, narrowly dodging Mel's next strike at the ground. Astrid got to her feet and turned just in time to see Mel swing the scythe towards her; the teen did a low back bend as she saw her reflection of the passing blade.

Artemis made a break for her fallen lazer but was stopped as Mel swung the scythe right in front of her. Arty growled in annoyance and kicked Mel right in the vital regions. Takonna cringed and Astrid snickered as Mel doubled over in pain. Takonna then snapped out of his pained daze and jump kicked Mel right in the face followed by Astrid grabbing him by his scruff and flipping him hard onto the concrete roof.

Takonna then got to their guns and threw them to his sisters; they were fully charged and ready to go. Mel had just gotten to his feet, his face screwed up in pain and blood dripping from his nose and lip. He looked up wearily at the siblings as the three seemed to be surrounded by an aura of anger and determination with their lazers at the ready.

"It's over Mel; you've lost," Takonna said with angry eyes.

"And if you mess with our friends again; we'll be sure to make you pay dearly," Astrid said dangerously.

"Any last words before we fry your ass?" Artemis asked, taking aim.

"This...isn't...ove-" Mel didn't even get to finish as the siblings all landed a simultaneous punch sending him into the air. The siblings then fired their fully powered lazer guns, shocking and burning the 4Kids leader at full power. Mel then fell to the ground extra crispy and the siblings panted heavily, their guns still raised.

"Did we win?" Artemis asked. The siblings slowly made their way to the edge of the roof; just as they looked over towards the ground, they let out a scream of alarm as Mel shot back up towards them. His eyes were glowing with anger and hatred as he grabbed the three siblings and slowly lifted them higher into the air. He was an anime character so of course he wouldn't die even from a lazer blast as strong as that!

"I'll let you off with a simple warning this time: stay out of this. I'll be back. Believe me, these anime will all be mine one day!" Mel yelled, climbing a full twenty feet higher before letting go of the siblings, allowing them to plummet several stories to the desert below as he flew off.

Everything happened in a blur, but for the nations, it was like slow-motion. Three nations jumped from the roof where the battle had just taken place: Germany, America, and Britain. They caught the siblings in mid-fall and took the impact, not feeling a thing as they held the siblings protectively. Artemis burst into tears, probably in terror from the fall. Germany scooped her up bridal-style and carried her inside as America did the same with Astrid, and Britain took Takonna on his back.

Inside, the voice actors, Scott, and the rest of the anime characters gathered around, all looking concerned. "That was a stupid thing to do." Italy said, shaking his head. "We're crazy otaku; what did you expect?" Astrid asked with a smirk. "Especially considering everything we've done the past few days," Takonna added.

"You three are pretty stupid, but brave as well, da?" Russia said. Artemis shrugged, "So we're just like any other anime character in existence," she said and everyone laughed.

They sat there for a while longer, not wanting to let go, and not wanting to leave, but they had no choice. The siblings parents would be returning soon and Funimation needed some major repairs. Even though deep down the siblings knew that Mel would return, they had still won the fight. The battle was over for now, but when it returned, they would be ready. They owed to their friends, both anime and human, and to otaku everywhere.

The goodbyes were tearful, but eventually, the siblings were loaded onto America's now repaired plane, along with the rest of the cast of Hetalia who all wanted to see them off.

They also said farewell to their new voice actor friends and the other anime characters from Funimation, "We'll be sure to say hi to you at cons!" Astrid said with a smile.

On the plane ride home, the three siblings hugged their nation friends for as long as they could before America started landing in their street. Luckily for the siblings, their parents still weren't back from their business trip. After more tearful farewells, and the nations thanking them for all they'd done for them and promising to visit them, America started up the plane, which the three siblings ran after until they couldn't see it anymore. "See you soon!" Artemis called, a smile plastered on her face as they left.

When the plane was no longer in sight, they dropped their arms and went inside, turning on the tv and sitting down. They flipped to the Funimation channel and smiled as an anime episode began to play; their love of anime was going to stay strong long into the future.

Kind of a lackluster ending but at least everything got wrapped up. And yes, this ending totally warrents a sequel; we're working on it now!

The sequel will include another OC of a friend of ours as well as many other characters from other anime; OHSHC is going to play quite a large role this time cause our new friend adores that show. But other than that the stakes will be higher and a bit more personal as well so you can look forward to it!
