"Well, let's go home" Natsu said cheerfully, sitting on one of the red velvet couches, looking around at his friends, who were enjoying some of the fun things to do. Erza was eating cake with Honey and Mori, both having a blast, while Lucy laughed cheerfully at Tamaki's antics, which annoyed Natsu, Just a little bit. Gajeel was standing near Levi and the twins, scowling, making sure they didn't do anything. Gray was talking with Haruhi, and Natsu still wasn't sure about that kid. Was he a boy or a girl? He smelled girly, like Lucy, but dressed like a boy. Natsu shook his head like he was shaking the thought away. For some reason, Natsu's eye always ended up going back to staring at the guy in glasses, Kyouya, who seemed to be very stressed out. Natsu heaved himself up off the chair, and walking over to him, looking curiously at all the papers.

"Whoa, that's a lot of paper! More than Lucy has when she's writing" Natsu admired over the frustrated Kyouya's shoulders, who was mumbling about losing a major profit, and how it would take him such a long time to re-budget the clubs funds, before Tamaki could do something stupid with them again.

Natsu was able to take a hint that he wanted to be left alone, Lucy taught him that. Natsu just wandered back to his seat and ate some grapes that were sitting on the table, lying down on the long couch and just sat quietly, thinking.

His mind flashed back to when they first met, how she called him lame when he went to save her and the other girls on the ship and got motion-sick instead.

His confusion when she first summoned Plue.

Their first real job together at the manor, how she pulled secretes that Natsu never would have known from the pages of the book.

How pretty she looked while she laughed when he and Gray grew mushrooms on their heads.

How much worry he felt as he caught her when she jumped from Phantoms tower, and his heart breaking while she cried.

How much fun he was having Edolas, making her mad with the costume machine.

And now today the strange calmness that washed over him when she found Lucy in the pile of pillows, and fighting side by side with her today made him happy, feeling relaxed knowing Luce was by his side all over again.

Happy.

That was how he felt while she was smiling. Natsu now realized this, and peeked over the couch, to watch Lucy and Tamaki chat, how she crinkled her eyes as she laughed. Natsu let a little, tiny smile spread on his mouth.

Erza watched Natsu quietly, although focusing most of her attention on Honey and the cake, but smiling to herself as she saw him watching Lucy with fondness.

"He likes her, doesn't he?" Honey said out of the blue, his usual air of childishness vanishing, replaced with another air, which Erza couldn't name. He seemed wise, way beyond his years. Erza set down her plate and smiled and nodded, like a mother watching her little baby becoming a man.

Everyone else from the guild seemed to have one eye on Natsu, giving their own cheers of encouragement to him in their heads.

Lucy pulled a golden pocket watch from her skirt, (a gift from Tamaki to cheer her up), and looked at the time, clicking it closed and returning it to her pocket once more.

"C'mon guys, I think it's about time we went home" She said loudly, with a smile.

"It's late now, why do you stay with me the night, all of you, and you can leave in the morning" Tamaki suggested, not quite ready to let go just yet.

"Yeah! Sounds good to me. That ok with you guys?" Lucy asked, looking at each of her friends, and the friends they had managed to make in the short time they had been there.

Erza gave a commanding nod, allowing the idea to pass, and a giant grin spread across the twins faces, both of the doing a little happy dance. "Hey! If you guys are sleeping over, we are too!" The twins chimed in, nodding together like always.

"Us too!" Honey yelled too, a silent nod from Mori confirming it, an audible groan from Kyouya came from the back.

"Will you come too, Haruhi?" Tamaki asked, looking at her with his own puppy dog eyes, and not being long before she caved in, agreeing to see what she could do.

"YAY! SLEEP OVER PARTY!" Lucy cheered, jumping in the air cheerfully, while Natsu continued to smile, before leaping up and cheering with her, and soon the whole room was cheering.

~Later~

"Uh…Luce?" Natsu said, turning a sickly pale shade of green.

"Yes, Natsu?"

"What is this thing?" he asked, pointing at the stretch limo that pulled up in front of them.

"Ah- oh…crap… didn't think this plan through" Lucy mumbled, looking at the ground.

"That thing is transport, isn't it?" he said, pulling a horrified face.

"Yeah" she said in defeat.

She patted Natsu's back as he threw up in a near-by push and stayed with him while he refused to get in the car. Soon enough, Natsu was in the car, his head on Lucy's lap, passed out. Gajeel was in a similar state too, half-draped over Levi, who was blushing, crushed under the iron eater.

"YES! I'M NEVER GETTING ON TRANSPORT AGAIN!" he cheered as he burst out the car, crowing like a madman and spewing flames.

"Chill out, ash-dweeb" Gray said, encasing Natsu's head in a ball of ice.

"Uh, doesn't he need to breathe?" Honey asked, pointing to the ice-ball, Mori grunting as an agreement.

"He'll be fine, he'll break out soon" Gray said as she walked inside, nodding politely to the maids waiting at the door. The others shrugged and walked in. at the doorway, the twins paused, and grinned wickedly at each other, pulling out permanent markers they brought with them everywhere and began drawing on the ice, making Natsu pull stupid faced, giving him a moustache and monocle, and really thick eyebrows. They laughed and laughed before walking inside, leaving Natsu to sizzle and melt the ice quickly.

~Later, at dinner~

"Ya know, you really suck, Gray" Natsu spat, still bitter about being frozen.

"Your fault to spitting fire, candle brain." He replied, eyes lighting up he the food was brought in.

A pile of flaming steaks were set in front of Natsu, a burger and chips for Gray, French food for Lucy, iron for Gajeel and sweets for Levi and Erza, and, of course, lots of fancy fish for Happy. The Host club had their usual food, as the chefs were used to their fancy tastes.

"We knew what to get for you since Lucy told us lots of stories about you all" Tamaki explained when Erza asked, and everyone stopped and Lucy looked down at her plate and blushed.

"Stories? Like what?" Levi questioned.

"Like when you three grew mushrooms on your heads" The twins said, pointing at Natsu, Gray and Happy and everyone laughed. Everyone continued to trade stories, the room seeming to burst at the seams at the cheerful atmosphere.

Eventually, everyone grew sleepy and went to bed, smiling.
