Hello All, yes I did another update. After my weekend at FOBANA I'm surprised I've popped out one this early let alone two. This chapter is a fresh POV. I decided it'd be nice to know what the only human thought about all of this. So this is from Merit's POV. See you at the bottom.
Chapter 27- Complementary Therapy
Vampires. I was surrounded by vampires. No worse than being surrounded by vampires. I was in a castle full of vampires, owned by the rulers of vampires, in the city secretly built for vampires.
If my grandfather knew I was here, he'd die of a heart attack. If my father knew why I was here he'd dig himself out to come slap some sense into me.
"Hey!" Emmett called from outside the door to the room I was assigned. "Beat it."
Edwards's voice followed, "If we catch you walking past again, you'll wish you didn't."
"I can hear her heart from down the hall," The male defended—he sounded American. "She's always anxious so it's echoing through the stone. How can you stand it?"
"You heard them," Bella growled. "Ben and Maggie said that she's off limits. Walk by again and lose an arm, or worse."
The random vampire gave up. "Fine."
He must have ran back down the hall, because Emmett called after him, "Anyone else won't get a warning."
When whoever it was was absolutely gone they knocked on the door. "May we come in?" Bella's soft voice requested.
I nodded, barely able to choke out a "Come in."
"Are you alright?" Edward asked stepping inside with Emmett.
Emmett was a bit less sensitive, "We just saved you from being an involuntary blood donor." It was honest for him.
I nodded and hated myself. Because if I really thought about it, my family having a bad reaction was what I wanted them to think. My grandfather had no qualms with giving Asima the last journal, and in actuality my father would turn over in his grave if I didn't fix this mistake.
I'd seen a million visions of people past's and futures. Things people have done and will do, but I always lacked the true gift of seeing into people's hearts. My grandfather said it would take patience and time, and that a person that thought they knew everything could learn nothing.
If my mind wasn't made up about Renesmee when she came into my shop, I could have helped her. I could have avoided all of this, and now good people were in danger when it could have been avoided. The curse of the clairvoyant, you see everything and know nothing.
"Thank you." I breathed.
Bella sat on a chair and motioned for me to sit next to her. "He's right though. You shouldn't be so anxious, not in these acoustics."
I knew Edward had heard everything I thought, but was kind enough to not expose it. "One of us in outside your door at all times. You're safe."
"As safe as I can be surrounded by vampires." I corrected, and Emmett laughed. I wasn't trying to be funny. "How's Renesmee?"
Since she'd woken up, I suggested her family all take turns spending time with her, reminding her of their good times.
"She's better than yesterday," Edward smiled. "She isn't as angry."
"Definitely calm when Rose and I talked to her." Emmett agreed.
I couldn't control my frown. That wasn't right. Without being close Zach she should be more agitated. Complements hate being separated from each other. Unless…
"What's wrong?" Bella asked squeezing my hand to snap me out of my thoughts.
My face probably said it all, "Nothing to worry about, Bella."
"What were you thinking a few seconds ago? Unless what?" Edward insisted, this time exposing my thoughts to everyone.
I couldn't' really be mad at him. If someone I loved was in trouble and I had his unfair advantage I'd probably do the same. "Don't be alarmed, every complement takes to the process differently— but complements hate to be separated. She should be more upset than calm. Especially this close to the moon."
"So what does that mean?" Alice asked making me jump. The others had entered the room so quietly that I didn't hear them "Sorry."
"It's okay." I assured once my heart restarted, surveying the room to see who was left. Jabril, Asima, Seth, Phillip, and Jacob were missing. I hope they weren't going to give me another heart attack.
Edward gave me a break, "It's their turns with Nessie."
I nodded thankfully.
"Will you please continue?" Rosalie requested getting comfortable.
"Renesmee should be angrier being separated from Zach, but according to Emmett and Edward she isn't. It means she's been communicating with him." I informed apologetically.
No doubt the moment she fell asleep he met with her the same place Grey used to meet with me.
"Those dream link things?" Rose scowled annoyed. "So what do we do keep her awake?"
I shook my head, "No, if he can keep her calm then it's a good thing. We just can't get her emotionally stressed or she'll snap and we can't have that right now."
The apologetic look on Alice's face forced the sigh out of me, "What now?"
"Asima is telling her about you," Carlisle explained gently. "About how you used to be a complement."
"Oh." My expressionless voice dragged. If she knew, then it wouldn't be long before Zach knew that I was here too. Since I was the only complement to kill their werewolf, he'd know I was responsible for Grey.
He'd come after me and everyone I care about. I knew that the minute I left to start my journey to Jennah, and I thought I was prepared until the time actually came.
"We'll keep you safe," Jasper promised, feeling the emotions beneath my blank façade.
Carlisle agreed, "You've helped our family so much already, we promise to keep you out of harm's way."
I was grateful for their kindness. "We have enough to worry about for the time being than little old me."
I was thankful for Emmett changing the story back to Renesmee, "I've got a question. Why doesn't she remember calling us for help?"
That was an easy one. "When a wolf or his complement snap, it's every painful. Imagine, every bad thing you've ever done hitting you all at the same time. Not just in thought, but visions, echoing voices and memories. It's very painful," I shuddered at the memory. "But, if you can get through it, if you can endure the pain, your connection is severed. Zach obviously reinforced his connection before she could get too far gone."
"Animal," Edward mumbled followed by a string of curses that my ears couldn't catch.
They didn't understand, "Their connection is literal. She was hurting, so I had no doubt it was hurting him too. And even if it wasn't he couldn't bear to watch her suffer. He loves her after all."
"That isn't love," Jacob snapped from the doorway scaring the hell out of me again. "Love isn't bites, and lures."
I felt bad for him, but I had to make him get what he was dealing with. "It's not the type of love, you or the Cullen's or even I'm used to. Each werewolf complement relationship is different, but I can assure you it's as real to him as the sun setting in the west and rising in the east."
That seemed to upset him more. He was never going to get her back this way.
"Jacob," Edward cautioned, and from the looks of it they were having one of those private mind talks that crept me out. I wasn't as bad once I realized it calmed him down some though.
I went on, "The fact that Nessie realized she was eating humans traumatized her enough to make her snap."
Emmett already had a plan in motion, "So we do it again right? Feed her a human and let her freak out—"
"Emmett Cullen!" Bella scolded.
Carlisle added, "We aren't going to sacrifice anymore human life."
"It wouldn't work if you did," I stressed before they got the bright idea to throw someone into the fire. "Zach fixed that problem. Now something more traumatizing has to happen to make her snap."
"What worked for you?" Asima wondered.
It'd obviously been a question they all wanted to ask me, but didn't want to press unless it was necessary. "I watched my dad get killed by a werewolf right in front of me." I sighed trying not to remember too clearly—not that it worked. "That's painful enough to snap me out of my haze."
"We'll I think killing Zach and separating the bond that way is out best bet," Bella suggested grabbing Edward's hand, watching him with narrow eyes. It was obvious that he was willing to go the route of laying down his life for his only daughter. Not that it would be necessary.
"How did she take the talk about me?" I asked Asima.
Though it was Phil who answered, "She felt like terrible for treating you like an asshole yesterday."
Jacob and Edward's eyes shot daggers at him.
Not that it bothered him, "What? She's one of my best friends. I'm allowed to say when she's being an asshole."
"She's interested in what it was like for you." Seth added.
I figured she would be, "I'm going to go talk to her."
"About what?" Asima pressed trying to read my mind, frustrated that I wasn't going to give anything away.
"Just pick her head, see how far along she is. How bonded they are." I answered aloud. "Can someone walk me upstairs?'
Asima stood quickly, "I'll take you."
I went to walk out the door but no one else moved. I was surprised, since my room was conveniently beneath hers. From here they could all pick up everything, no doubt Asima and Edward could read her thoughts. "I suggest you all walk around somewhere else."
"Why?" Alice pouted offended. "She's my niece, I have a right to eavesdrop."
"I don't want her clamming up on me when one of you get mad enough to storm in because you don't like what you hear." I explained patiently.
Jasper smiled in disbelief, "So you think you'll get her to open up? We couldn't."
"You've never been a complement." I corrected smugly. "Out."
"No way," Jacob refused crossing his arms and sitting on the bed. Set.
Carlisle was ever the one to compromise, "What if we promise to not interrupt, no matter what we hear?"
I couldn't see them letting it all go completely, so I surrendered, "Fine. But don't say I didn't warn you."
—
"May I come in?" I requested, rapping on her door lightly.
The door swung open with an excessive amount of force, but I there Renesmee stood, calm.
We stared at each other in the doorway for a bit, both unsure of what to say to each other, but eventually she stepped aside. "Come in, this place is roaming with vampires and not all of them are nice."
"Tell me about it," I muttered shutting the door behind me, helping myself to a seat in front of her bed. "So, how has your day been?"
She was taken aback by my question, meeting it with a one word answer, "Fine."
"How did it feel talking to your family again?" I pressed gently, playing with my charm bracelet.
She shrugged out a one word response again, "Good."
"Good," I encouraged not really knowing how to start this. "So how are thing with—"
She cut me off a little impatient, "I'm sorry. Are you supposed to be my therapist or something?"
"No—not really. I just figured you'd want to talk to someone. I used to be a complement, so I know what you're feeling and going through." I answered honestly. This was looking a lot easier in my head, my visions could have at least showed me how to get past her walls.
"I don't really want to talk," She admitted.
You aren't very good at this are you? Edward's voice popped in my head from downstairs making me jump.
Luckily she was too busy playing with a ring on her finger to notice. Stay out of my head eavesdropper.
I didn't believe her, she'd have to want to talk to me. When I was a complement I would have killed to have anyone that understood to share how I felt with. "Okay, well I'm downstairs if you change your mind."
I stood up to head towards the door, hoping that at least one of them heard I was going to leave and met me up here. I probably wouldn't survive that walk down stairs alone.
"Wait—" She called for me.
I turned and she motioned for me to sit down. "Yes?"
She rubbed her necklace with her fingers, her bronze colored bangs covering her eyes. "I do want to talk to you—but it's awkward."
"Why is it awkward, Renesmee?" I wondered leaning forward to rest my elbows on my knees.
She gave me that, 'you know why' look, but said it aloud anyway. "Because you got Grey killed."
It'd been forever since I'd heard his name spoken by anyone else but me, and the affect it had on my heart even now was scary. "Your loyalty to Zach should make you want to kill me on sight." I realized breathless, fear creeping back into the room for the first time since yesterday.
"I do," She divulged with a frown of shame, "but I also know Zach wouldn't like it if I killed you. He'd have his own plans for you."
I swallowed the lump in my throat, "Well…in the meantime…why don't you just talk to me?"
"What happened that night?" She wondered partially said and partially accusatory. "Did you tell your family the secret?"
I shook my head knowing exactly which secret she was referring to, "I would have never betrayed Grey's trust that way. It's a complicated story for another time." I knew that I was going to have to tell her about my last night with Grey sooner or later, but I didn't want to unless there wasn't any other choice. Like telling her sealed everything the way it was.
What do you mean?Edward pressed mentally, a hint of worry in my thoughts.
Nothing, get out of my head. I insisted. You're throwing me off.
"So what do we talk about?" Renesmee wondered still playing with the necklace, rubbing the white stoned pendant between her fingers flipping it around and around.
"We can talk about anything you want," I promised with an encouraging smile. "I was complement once, so there's nothing you can say that will shock me." I added for good measure.
"Nothing?" She asked skeptically.
I shook my head, "Nothing."
She didn't trust me, despite the fact that she was intrigued. I knew the only way to get her to open up was to share something about myself.
"I met Grey when I was seventeen. I was walking home with my friends and he passed with a group of his own. I didn't know that they were werewolves at the time, my senses were nowhere near as good as they are now."
She listened but didn't respond.
"Hell, I probably wouldn't have cared if I did, even with all the things I knew about them. We didn't say anything to each other, and it wouldn't be the last time we passed each other without speaking, but from the very first look I couldn't get those grey eyes out of my head."
I was going to go on, but she started talking, "Zach's eyes have the same effect on me…" She admitted with a smile. A blushing smile, like a teen having boy talk.
Okay eavesdroppers, brace yourselves. This is where it gets difficult… I warned in my head. I didn't need them interrupting us because hearing about Zachariah was too much for them.
Surprisingly she started in a different direction.
"I can remember the first time I met Jake. I was barely five minutes old, but it's still clear in my head." She smiled.
My eyes widened in genuine surprise, "Oh really?" It had to be a hybrid thing, because I couldn't recall anything before I was six.
She nodded, proud of the fact. "Yes, he looked exactly the same as he does now. But even as an infant, it was sooo clear that he was the only one for me."
Her smiled made me smile, "Really?"
"From first look, I was his and he was mine. We both knew it right away; probably before we even understood it." She confirmed.
I liked the way this was heading, if she was still talking about Jacob and their past, there as hope for her yet.
Her smile relaxed slightly. "As the years went on… things got more difficult. We were separated for months at a time." I started to ask why but I didn't need to.
"My family and I had to move around a lot. I was growing so fast that I'd attract attention if we stayed anywhere for more than three months at a time. Jacob still had duties to La Push so he couldn't travel with us. Then the Volturi wanted to kill us, and we were faced with more challenges, but somehow we always made it work you know?"
I didn't know. I had no idea what it was like to love and be loved with that much ardor, but I nodded anyway. "Sounds like you love each other very much."
Apparently I picked the wrong words, because her eyes fell to her hands, and she started playing with her fingers.
"Renesmee?" I called after she shuffled in silence for five minutes of straight silence.
Her eyes blurred, like she wanted to cry. She hastily dried her eyes and explained. "I know I should be fighting to stay…. To try and remember what we had at the beginning…"
She was going to lose it, I couldn't let her. I dragged my chair close enough to the bed to the bed so that I could reach across the distance and grab her hand. It was shocking I thought she'd be soft like Rosabella or any other human, but she was stone like any other vampire. At least softness would explain the way her family reacted to her.
What is that supposed to me? Asima's voice accused.
It means that you guys treat her like she's made of glass, but she isn't. She's as hard as you and the others. No wonder Zach chose her. Now stop interrupting me. "Don't be sad Renesmee," I encouraged knowing all how hard it was to be torn between two things you loved. "Why don't you tell me about Zach, yeah?"
The thought of Zach made her smile again. "Oh, where to start with Zach."
"Anywhere you want," I shrugged sitting back in the chair again.
She thought about it for a moment. "When I first met him, he frustrated me to no end. He was cocky, arrogant, stubborn, and lewd—"
I laughed at that, "Werewolves never seemed to have that filter to distinguish what's polite for conversation and that isn't."
"I swear some of the thing they discussed openly would make my uncle Emmett seem like a prude." She scoffed honestly.
I laughed again, not because I knew how vulgar Emmett could be—because he was nothing short of nice around me— but I could image the look on his eavesdropping face.
When we both sobered up she continued. "But the more I got to know him, I started to notice the other things. He's charismatic, charming, magnetic, funny, entertaining, electric. When he walked into a room; every woman's head turned, every man stood up to talk to him."
"And you admired that," I related.
"Not so much the lady magnet part," She admitted, then excused it at the same time, "But that was the pheromones and not really his fault. But the way he was taken seriously, the way people listened the way he controlled the room without having to ask for it. I envied that."
"You weren't listened to a lot in your old life I take it?" I knew it would piss off the vamps downstairs, but in Renesmee's head Zach was pretty much her new life, and to say anything other than that would piss her off and make her shut down.
She shook her head, "Not really. I've been dressed, lectured, and guided pretty much my entire life. I knew it was all out of love, and I love them for that, but I've had literally four sets of parents. I never got to go out, make mistakes, or be free."
"Until Zach…" I finished.
She nodded. "He introduced me to some of the most extreme things I could think of, and they were scary, but I never felt safer. He never smothered me. I know my family thinks he's a bad guy, but that's only because they've never seen him when he's with me. It's different."
I knew what she meant completely, but I needed her to say it all aloud, to help her family understand and herself. "Can you explain?"
"He's like this hybrid—" I winced at her using a word to explain him which was basically a word for her. It was like saying he is me. She corrected herself unsure of her mistake, "this mix of a man that can't contain himself."
"Go on," I urged shifting to sit on my foot.
"I mean yeah, he does bad things like destroy my best friend's home to come get me when he could have waited for me to come to him. Building a werewolf army with the intent of killing the Volturi and ultimately trying to get rid of vampire existence all together." She listed quickly, like they were nothing.
The fact that she saw these as nothing didn't surprise me, that's what the complement bond did. "Sounds like some pretty big bads."
She dismissed them with a wave moving on, "But he could also be so sweet. Like waiting to sleep with me to make sure it was what I wanted and not the moons doing. Or knowing me so well that he could fill a closet with not just clothes I liked, but all of them custom made to fit me perfectly. Or breaking his oldest friend's neck for hurting me."
That was sweet? I guess the look on my face made her defend him again, "It didn't kill her or anything. Not that he wouldn't kill for me."
"Of course, there's no line if you love a person enough." I agreed adjusting my face.
She let out a sigh lost in thought for a second, "But anyway, I always get the sense that…Zach is constantly torn—between being a good person— and missing out on all of the things that life has to offer a creature as magnificent as him."
"And in that way, you understand him?" I related, spelling it out for the ones that might not.
Her eyes went alight, glad that someone else understood her, "And I love him for it!" She agreed before she knew it, clapping her hand over her mouth from the shock at how freely the words flowed.
"You love him?" I asked, pretending I didn't hear her more than audible declaration.
"I love him…" She repeated in a whisper, not to me, but to herself. Processing what that meant, like she'd never said it before. "I love him… I love him… I love him."
"Are you okay?" I checked.
She nodded, embarrassed, "Sorry, I've never said I loved Zach before."
"But you do," I agreed wondering why she never said it. It was obvious to me.
She nodded. "I guess I do."
"So you plan to stay with him." I figured, not that it mattered.
"I do."
"What about your family?" I reminded, trying to put a little reality into her view.
She let out a sigh, realizing running off into the sunset with Zach would be problematic. "My family—they're perfect. They always have been."
"And you?"
"I'm not perfect. I can't go back to trying to be after the things I've seen and done. And Zach needs me. He's better with me…My family doesn't need me." She thought.
I would have disagreed, but I knew it's upset her. "What about your daughter?"
That one got to her. She couldn't say her daughter didn't need her, every girl needed her mother. "She'll be protected and cared for, I know that much." She answered carefully.
Yep, she definitely had it bad. The complement bond was working through her strong, and I was thankful that they hadn't slept together. I'd hate to see how bad she'd be if they had. "Okay." I surrendered.
"Just okay? You're not going to convince me that I should stay with my daughter and family?" She perked up, surprised.
I shook my head, "Nope. My job isn't to judge Renesmee. You've made your decision, and I see no point in changing that."
"You really do understand?" She guessed.
I nodded, "I really do. I should give you some time to rest. It'll be dark soon, and that'll be uncomfortable."
Renesmee frowned at the thought, but stopped me before I could leave. "Wait… can I ask you something?"
"Sure."
She didn't know how to ask, "You broke your connection with Grey…but…did you still love him afterwards?"
I frowned, turning back around and sitting in the chair. "That necklace around your neck…Zach gave it to you right?"
"How can you tell?"
I could have told her because it was older than her father, that she'd randomly touch it to make sure it hadn't fell off, or that she rubbed it whenever she thought or talked about him were the dead giveaways, but instead I answered her question with my answer. "Because Grey gave me this." I held my wrist out for her to look at the charm bracelet. She could draw her own conclusion from that. "Get some rest Renesmee...It's the first night of the change, so you won't just share his strength, but fatigue was well."
She nodded, "Thanks for everything, Merit."
Asima was behind me the minute I closed the door to her room. I started to scream, but she covered my mouth quickly and everything around me blurred. I wasn't able to recognize anything again until I was in my room surrounded by everyone else.
"Did you have to steer the conversation that way?" Jacob hissed angrily. I expected him to be.
"Yes, I did."
"Does she really think we smother her?" Alice frowned.
Emmett was with her, "She said we were like parents…shit…I thought I was the cool uncle."
"If you don't like what you hear then you shouldn't have listened in." I scolded.
Jabril agreed with me, "No… it's good to know how she feels. That way it can be changed."
"True," Carlisle agreed. "I just don't understand why she couldn't talk to us about it."
I didn't want him to feel bad, "She loves you all a lot. You don't want to hurt the ones you love."
"She doesn't think leaving us could hurt us?" Bella shook her head, and she looked like she was crying. But there were no tears.
I shook my head, "It's different. I think, she feels too far gone to go back to her old life."
"Carlisle," We were interrupted by a black cloaked, red eyed vampire in the doorway. He was an ashen bronze color and as much as my heart races at the sight of him, no one else seemed scared.
"Benjamin, what's going on?" Carlisle asked
"It's the night before the full moon, are you sure they're coming?" He wondered looking at me for a fraction of a second before turning back to his friend.
I answered, "It's the first night of their change, and they're on their way. They'll attack tomorrow at their strongest. It only makes sense."
Ben sighed, like he was afraid of that. "In order to protect the city we need to make the journey away from it as soon as possible."
"Have you decided who's fighting with is?" Emmett asked, still uneasy about the Volturi splitting their guard.
Another small Irish voice answered making my heart leap through my chest. Jeeze, did vampires never announce their presence? "Stefan and Marcus are staying here with half. Benjamin and I will fight with you along with the other half. But we should leave to at least survey the grounds before sun up."
"We'll go now." Rosalie agreed, "But how are we going to get the werewolves to follow us there instead of coming straight here?"
That was obvious, "Renesmee," I answered. "Zach wants her, he'll take them wherever she is."
"We aren't using my wife as bait." Jacob snapped, "I want her far away from this."
I didn't see that happening, "She needs to be there just as much as I do."
"What do you mean?" Jasper wondered, no doubt viewing it from a tactical side. "If anything you both will be more liabilities than help."
"Just trust me, please." I stressed turning to Asima, "You promised."
Asima rolled her eyes, "Fine, they're going. The ones that don't sleep are coming with me, to survey the spot. We'll be back in a few hours and if it's still perfect, we'll move out tonight."
"Asima…" Jacob started.
But she wasn't hearing it. She gave her husband a kiss, "I'll be right back, stay in this room. Let's go." And she blurred away with everyone else before poor Seth could even protest."
"I'm going to go make sure Nessie's okay." Jacob snapped in disbelief. "Jabril, you keep guard out front."
He nodded, and the both disappeared outside.
Seth shook his head and sat on the chair in the corner of the room. Without a thought, I walked over to him and took a seat on the floor. "She doesn't that a lot huh? Runs off and does what she needs to keep the people she loves safe, forgetting that you're not one she has to protect."
He didn't say anything, just stared at a painting on the wall. Not that I expected him to speak ill of Asima in any way.
"She means well." I went on.
He smiled at that, "Asima is an amazing person and I wouldn't change her for anything. There's nothing she wouldn't do for someone she loves, and I love that. I just wish sometimes she'd remember that we're partners. With all of her gifts, and talents, sometimes it feels like she doesn't need me at all."
"That's not true." I corrected quickly. "I've seen you two. The love, the bond. I wish I could show you the things I see when it comes to her, Seth. She's lived forever, and in all that time, you were the only person that made her feel like she deserved the life she found with the Cullen's and Jennah. I mean, I'd fight for that."
He nodded in agreement. "I'm lucky."
"Tell me about her," I insisted, assuming the role of therapist for the second time today.
"Where to start," He laughed starting off. I listened for hours as he told me everything, about their meet and though she was resistant and dating someone else at a time, she eventually fell for him. He seemed to brighten up by just talking about her and I wondered did love like that run with all of the supernatural.
"It seems like you both have had some great years," I agreed unable to control my own smile.
He nodded, "And many more to come if I can help it…Thanks, I now it's hard being here, and you didn't have to talk to me."
"You needed a friend," I dismissed. "And you and I are going to be great friends."
His eyes widened at the slip of the future, and I wanted to kick myself. He just smirked though, "Oh that's right, you are a psychic and all, huh?"
"I prefer the term clairvoyant." I corrected glad he didn't read too much into my slip. I hated having to explain visions I had yet to understand myself.
He nodded, "Well tell me Miss Clairvoyant, do you see peace after all of this? It's the only thing Asima wants, and I'd like to do my best to give it to her."
He held out my hand, "Well let's see."
I clasped both of my hands around his and didn't see the slightest of flashes. I never was shown the same thing twice, and I was already given the preview of how this was going to pan out. I closed my eyes and waited the appropriate amount of time. Deciding to give him a partial truth. "It's going to be hard at first… with the connection broken, Renesmee won't be herself for a while… there's going to be some all-around sadness, but one day, something's going to happen. And everyone will gradually heal each other. Asima will her peace, and she'll be happy everyone she loves can share it with her."
He pulled his hand away, and like that he was happy. "Thanks… I really needed to hear that all of this worked out."
"It does… it's all worth it, trust me." I promised a hundred percent sure.
"Then I can endure the darkenss for a while longer." He accepted.
I hope you liked it all since I had fun writing it. The next chapter is the last chapter before the fight, and it will be from Asima's POV. The fight will be three chapters long and change POV's each time. 29 from a member of the Cullen family's, 30 from Asima's, and 31 from Nessie's. then there will probably be two more chapters and an epilogue that will pick up years after this is over.
I figured now would be the time to confirm. Yes this IS the last fanfiction I will be writing. I'm not saying in the twilight fanfic world all together, but alteast the continuation line. Anything i write after this will be separate from the world of leopards and Jennah. I'll most likely go back ot working on my real novel after this and when I finished I'll come back with something new. But hey that's chapters away so don't be sad, now. Comment, below please. :)
