Nightmare
"Lucy!"
"Natsu?" Lucy turned to see the pink haired boy sprinting towards her. Has something happened? Lucy waited for Natsu to stop in front of her.
"I'm sorry...they got Erza." Natsu panted for breath and Lucy's blood froze. Erza had been captured?
"Where...?"
"I'll show you, but...you have to hide. I don't want to lose both of you guys." Natsu led Lucy to an old castle and they stopped at the entrance. "She's in there."
"Thank you Natsu." Without another word, Lucy knocked Natsu out and ran into the old building. She ran up the stairs and found a room that had the door halfway open. She walked in and saw Erza being held by some men. They had a knife to her throat and Lucy could only watch in horror as the blade slid across the skin so smoothly. A river of red gushed out and Erza dropped to the ground with a thud echoing through the room. Lucy dropped to her knees and screamed.

Lucy woke up and sat up quickly. Her body was covered in a cold sweat. Lucy tried to control her breathing so that she was not panting so hard.
"Lucy?" Erza mumbled half asleep. "Something wrong?"
"No...just go back to sleep." Lucy said as she lay back down. Erza closed her eyes and went back to sleep. Lucy lay on her side trying to sort her thoughts out. For the past few days, she had been having horrible nightmares. She tried to hide them from Erza, but the red head was smart. She could see that her girlfriend was losing sleep and it bothered her. She knew though that if Lucy wanted to talk she would. Lucy stared at the wall in front of her. She felt strong arms wrap around her to pull her close.
"I may not know what kind of nightmares are haunting you, but I want to help."
"Erza..." Lucy leaned back to feel Erza kiss her neck.
"I'm here for you Lucy."
Lucy smiled and turned over to embrace her girlfriend. She leaned her forehead against Erza's. "Thank you." Lucy fell back to sleep in the warm embrace and slept soundly through the rest of the night.
