Chapter Thirteen
Naruto's Light, Extinguished?!
闇
{{Soundtrack Start: First of the Year (Equinox), Skrillex}}
"Ugh…GAAAH!"
"That's the last one, Sasuke. Now we just need to close up the wound and set your broken arm before I get to the concussion."
"I swear to Kami you're…uhn…enjoying THIS~!"
The last bit of Sasuke's comment went up about an octave as Sakura slammed her palms into his newly healed ribs, making a few quick hand signs to help streamline the flow of chakra before focusing it to regrow the damaged pectoralis minor muscles (1), as well as parts of the latissimus dorsi (2). The Uchiha half-snarled in pain as the tiny fibers writhed before snapping out across his chest and expanding under the influence of their combined chakra.
She felt for him; having your muscles regrown wasn't exactly a pleasant experience, as it entailed reforming the tendons and fibers as nerves re-established themselves, sending waves of phantom pain up the spinal cord and to the brain. She'd learned it while interning at the hospital, the one day she was assigned the Trauma Ward. Sakura shuddered. She never wanted to relive the particularly painful memories of that day, though she knew she'd need to face them sooner rather than later. They did not, however, need to surface in the midst of her current healing session.
Sasuke relaxed slightly as the process finished, pale skin stretching across the span of muscle before melting into the previous edges of the wound without a scar. Sakura wondered at this; usually, the bigger wounds left huge, extremely visible remnants, reminders of their existence and of their owner's moments of weakness. Maybe it was his Uchiha blood; the clan was old, birthed (if the legends were to be believed) from the son of the Rikudou Sannin himself, and Sasuke was about as pure as they came (yes, she had read his records, along with Naruto's and some of Kakashi's (the rest were classified, particularly those concerning his early Jounin days), before embarking upon the mission, as she wanted the information for medical purposes) from generation after generation of inbreeding. He was literally pure Uchiha, and that was bound to cause some quirks.
What she didn't see were the faint sparks of black chakra dancing across her teammate's skin, sinking in whenever they found an imperfection, cleaning up her healing job.
However, what she did observe was far more important. As Sasuke turned his head to the side, she caught a faint glimpse of what looked to be a huge, ropy scar, about an inch thick at its widest and extending from the top of the superior vena cava (3) to his left collarbone, about five inches long.
Sasuke…what are you hiding?
闇
Zian? How's it going?
You're seriously messed up, gaki. If it wasn't for the potency of your chakra, that girl's amazing control, and my healing factor, you'd still be missing most of your chest. As it is, I can't heal the concussion; it's too minor an injury for me to concentrate on while I patch up the rest of you. I might not even be able to fully fix the broken arm.
Hn. Fine. We'll just concentrate on the bigger injuries, then heal the smaller ones whenever we can. Just make sure it'll heal fully, and that it isn't adversely effected.
Sounds fine to me. Now shut up; I'm having a hard time focusing with your annoying-ass voice in my ear.
…Hn.
Sasuke switched his attention from his mind to the outside world just as Sakura flicked her wrist, setting his broken arm in a single, smooth movement.
"SON OF A BITCH THAT HURTS!"
He roared as loud as his still-tender lung would allow him, which meant he was only a little louder than normal, and thus not heard over the sounds of battle. Sakura smiled sheepishly, casting him an apologetic glance as she tied two small beams to his arm with bandages, crafting a makeshift splint that would at least allow him some mobility. Using his good arm, Sasuke propped himself up rather dizzily, his concussion preventing any sudden movements. Sakura kept her hands on him, one supporting his back and the other resting lightly on his stomach, the blood on them smearing across his skin like cold syrup.
"Easy, Sasuke…you've got a mild concussion, so you probably shouldn't try to stand…"
"Aa. Kinda figured. It's either that or the bridge has suddenly decided to audition for a ballet."
"…Did you just…"
"Hn?"
"Did you just…make a joke?"
"Your point being?"
"…I think your concussion has somehow affected your personality, because there's no way the Sasuke I know would crack a joke."
"Kami, thanks, Sakura."
"What?! You're so serious all the time, so it's not as if I expect this kind of thing from you on a regular basis!"
Sasuke rolled his eyes, unwilling to continue the fruitless argument. Sakura huffed, bemused, and was about to add another comment when a piercing shriek echoed across the landscape.
The both of them froze, then turned to look at one another.
"Sasuke…what was that?"
Sasuke caught her unspoken request, extending his chakra senses with Zian's help (though the other was still trying to fix his host's diaphragm, he could spare a bit of his attention to help him out). What he saw, however…was beyond anything he expected.
"…I…I think…"
He swallowed dryly. Sakura looked at him worriedly, and behind them he could sense Tazuna's questioning glance.
"I think that was Naruto."
闇
Zabuza glanced over to where his apprentice fought, grinding his teeth together in frustration.
Damn it, Haku…why are you still playing with the brat?! Hurry up and kill him already!
The big man clicked his tongue softly as he swung his huge blade around, nearly decapitating the Jounin he battled. The silver-haired man dodged to the left, whipping out two kunai and aiming to gore his sword arm. Zabuza twisted, using the torque produced by the motion to maneuver his weapon up and out to slice at Kakashi.
Growling slightly as he bent back, Kakashi tried to avoid injury. Zabuza's blade was too long to evade, however, so the missing ninja succeeded in opening a shallow wound on the Leaf ninja's chest. Smirking, the Demon of the Hidden Mist decided to try a different tactic.
"What's wrong, Hatake? You're slowing down! Is it because you're getting tired?"
His opponent shook his head, looking annoyed.
"Or maybe because you watched that brat die? I never knew you were so weak as to form bonds with weakling Genin…it's people like you who make me sick."
Kakashi stiffened, going completely rigid, fingers clenching spasmodically.
So what will you do, Kakashi? Will you come at me, full-strength?
The silver-haired man lowered his head, a shock of mercury shielding his mismatched eyes from view. Zabuza watched him, ready to counter an attack. Instead, Kakashi simply whispered,
"It was my fault. It was my fault. It was my fault…oh Kami it was all my fault…"
Zabuza raised an eyebrow. Had he caused a mental breakdown? Was little Kashi-kun gonna cry?
Heh. Oops. It looks like I've found myself a weak point. Now…now it's only a matter of exploiting it.
闇
Haku flinched as he Shunshined away from his opponent, jostling his broken collarbone and dislocated shoulder in the process. He'd already healed the majority of the cuts, scrapes, and bruises from his fight with the Uchiha with a minor healing jutsu. Now all he had to do was defeat Naruto (who seemed to exhibit the same berserker traits as Sasuke had early on in their battle) and he could fix up his remaining injuries before moving on with his master to collect their payment from Gatou.
The blonde roared again, a shrill sound of all-consuming rage that seemed to vibrate in his chest, rattling around like a caged bird attempting escape. A slow, dull ache permeated his head, caused no doubt by the overload of sonic information. Hissing slightly as he moved again, Haku switched to his enduring defensive mode, only moving when it was absolutely necessary to conserve what chakra he had left.
Hopefully he'd end this battle before he expended the half-tank of energy he had left in him. Naruto certainly wasn't making it easy…hell, if that form was what he thought it was, from what Zabuza had told him of the Yondaime Mizukage, he would need to use that technique to ensure his victory, even if it left him completely exhausted.
His master could take a couple hundred Genin-level thugs, right? He'd done so before, and he wasn't even a ninja, so why should this be any different?
Because last time he didn't have to watch out for someone else.
No, he wouldn't think that way; Zabuza wouldn't protect him. He never had, aside from taking him in. No, Zabuza was more likely to throw his chakraless body into the fray to fend for himself, as another test. His master was fond of tests. Haku's life was just a series of tests, one after the other. Tests of skill, strength, speed, endurance, intelligence, jutsu ability, kekkai genkai control, chakra levels, accuracy…you name it, he'd done it. And he'd never failed one before…so why start now?
Facing a true demon…relax, Haku, it's just another one of Zabuza-sama's tests. He expects you to win, and you will not let him down.
A sudden jolt of the ground beneath him sent the Yuki reeling, before he found his feet again and leapt agilely away from Naruto's vicious uppercut.
You can't let him down.
"KORORO NO FUUIN: KAI!"
The energy poured through his body, scouring new paths through his veins like huge swells of ice-cold acid, eroding slowly at his sanity and releasing his true power.
The power of the Yuki bloodline, the Ice Madness technique. It allowed for manipulation of water on a molecular level, for the low price of slowly ridding the user of neurons as the energy needed was marshaled into the technique. That was exactly why it was forbidden.
"HYOTON: EXCARIBA NO JUTSU~!"
It gradually drove the user insane.
闇
{{Soundtrack Start: Lights (Bassnectar Remix), Ellie Goulding}}
Naruto was no longer aware of himself.
He could no longer feel his body move, nor see through his own eyes. All that remained was the darkness he'd succumbed to, and the voices of his teammates.
No. His nakama. His family.
He'd come to think of them as the support he'd never really had, aside from Hokage-jiji and, later, Iruka-sensei.
Kakashi was a step-fatherly individual, detached yet caring at the same time. He risked his life to protect them, and always managed to stir them from a foul morning's mood with his tardiness and subsequent excuses. Naruto could sense an underlying nostalgia and sadness to him, though, hanging over his head like a dark cloud of suffering.
Sakura was probably the most transparent of their quartet, with her brilliant smile and gentle, tinkling laugh that hid a girl who could seriously screw you up. She was a happy, bubbly sort of person, with a mind to match her mouth: fast, sometimes difficult to understand, and absolutely unstoppable once it really got going.
And their remaining member…well, he was difficult to understand, to say to least. Sasuke was a brother figure to him, offering his own brand of silent, stoic comfort. Even if he acted like a bastard half the time, Naruto could tell it was a façade. How? When they were in danger (or, more specifically, when Sakura was in danger), Sasuke was always the first to jump into action, to defend them from whatever sought to harm.
Contrary to popular belief, Naruto wasn't stupid. He learned best by doing, by acting, which was why he could never quite remember all the dates and shinobi rules required by the Academy's written tests. One thing he could do, and extremely well at that, was read people. He had always needed to be able to, to assess whether a certain individual was a threat to his continued existence or not. Therefore…Sasuke and Sakura's dynamic was rather obvious to him. He picked up on the subtleties of their conversations, of their actions, and of their expressions.
Sakura was in denial, he thought. She didn't want to drag the team down with what she deemed useless, misplaced affection for someone who scorned even the slightest attachment. She wouldn't ruin their team dynamic for something as silly as a budding interest in the dark prodigy who'd already captured and broken so many hearts.
Sasuke was…confusing, for lack of a better word. His actions spoke of deep-seated longing, of a boy lost in the rain, looking for a miracle. He wanted to be close to someone, to be trusted, even loved. However, his speaking patterns…he was cold, harsh, and demeaning, almost a complete contradiction to his body language. As for his expressions, there wasn't much to tell. Sasuke kept a perfect poker face up most of the time, which only really slipped when he got angry or annoyed enough to forget to maintain it, or when he let loose with one of his famous smirks.
What really clued Naruto in was the fact that these slip-ups seemed to occur more often when Sakura was around. As in, Sasuke only really bothered to show emotion around their female teammate. Hell, the Uzumaki was willing to bet that Sakura was in his thoughts somewhere as he fell from the scaffolding.
Maybe she'd been his last thought before drifting into the void.
No. Don't think about it. Sasuke's alive. He has to be alive. If he was dead, nothing would be as it is. The world would feel different.
One half of his mind screamed, while the other whispered poisonously,
He's gone. That's why…that's why the mist feels so suffocating, the air so chilled, the pain of wounds so intense. He's gone and the world has changed.
A strangely intense feeling he couldn't quite place welled up within his abdomen, and Naruto floundered for a moment in the darkness. Then, as its essence began to soak into his skin, flowing through his veins like molten metal and glacial ice all wrapped up into one, he began to see.
And suddenly it was all so clear, clearer than Haku's crystal-like ice.
The feeling was pain.
And it probably originated from the huge chunk of flesh that had been ripped out of his left side.
闇
{{Soundtrack Start: Counter-Attack Mankind, Attack on Titan OST}}
Haku smiled coldly, letting his ice blade flow back into his arm as it dripped with a rose's nectar. The red dye stained his haori, but he almost didn't care.
He'd left his humanity behind a long, long time ago, when Zabuza saved him from the streets and taught him the art of murder, of lies, of survival. In this cold, cruel world, he didn't really have a choice; it was kill or be killed, and the ice master didn't plan on dying any time soon.
I'll be anything that you need me to be, Zabuza-sama. I am your tool, to the highest degree. I am no longer human, not after all I've done.
Besides, causing physical and emotional pain was rather rewarding, in its own strange way. Watching the demon boy bleed out onto the concrete, as his fallen friend had, would be satisfying. It was his own form of vengeance, for his injuries and for their gall to attack him in the first place.
The sight of the devastation he'd wrought was both beautiful and terrible. The red was gone from his eyes, leaving them a horrified, accusatory cerulean that seemed to bore straight through his soul like cold, clean knives. Blood was everywhere, coating ground and tattered orange cloth alike. Blonde hair, once artfully messy, was stiff with sweat and gore, sticking up in uneven, ragged spikes. There was a sizeable hole in his left side, where Haku's blade had slid in and, with swift, sure movements, sliced away the flesh there. Regrettably, he'd missed the kidney, but what damage there was certainly looked like enough to ensure that his opponent wouldn't be moving any time soon. His breaths were uneven with shock and pain, like those of a rabid dog in its death throes.
He wasn't thrashing yet, but the missing ninja's apprentice predicted it wouldn't be long.
闇
Sakura-chan…I…I'm sorry…I failed…
Naruto tried to breathe. Each rise and fall of his chest, each inflation of his lungs, was a battle in his war with death. It was one war he was determined to win, even if it meant he would never be a shinobi again.
Even if it meant giving up his dreams.
He could feel the blood pouring steadily from his wound, as well as the strangely cold feeling of his intestines spilling out onto the earth. Haku had sheared away the muscle in his side, leaving a gaping escape route for things that were never meant to see the light. Naruto had been in the hospital enough to know that these were the types of wounds you rarely recovered from, because their existence invited infections and viruses that wouldn't leave, and drained your strength until it was a struggle to breathe without assistance.
He could definitely feel for the ones who had trouble breathing. He was one of them, at the moment. Naruto grinned wryly in his mind, as his face wouldn't respond, contorted as it was in an agonized grimace.
It's up to you, Sakura-chan. You'll defeat him. I know you will.
A picture of her flashed in his mind then, like a brand of fire in the sunlight. Her smile was the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen, and left his stomach swirling and his heart soaring. Everything about her was perfect, untouched, untainted. A completely natural sort of beauty.
I have faith in you.
Everything faded into black for the second time that day, and Naruto succumbed once more to the darkness.
闇
The mist cleared briefly, and Sakura nearly screamed for the umpteenth time in the past four hours.
Haku stood over Naruto, a victorious smile curving his lips in a sinister way, a long, elegant icicle slowly melting back into his chakra system, stained by blood.
Naruto's blood.
Her teammate lay in a pool of it, innards slithering from the huge hole in his side. His eyes were closed, his face a mask of pain. Beside her, she heard Sasuke's soft intake of breath, and Tazuna's outright gasp.
Naruto, defeated by Haku. Naruto, their light, had been extinguished. Naruto was down, lying on a painting done in his own lifeblood.
Her mind, already on the brink of a complete meltdown, almost shut itself down then and there. But then she remembered; Sasuke was out of commission, and Kakashi was busy keeping Zabuza away.
They would rely on her to protect them. Their lives depended on her victory.
And, in a way, so did the lives of the entire island of Wave. If she lost, she was certain Haku would slaughter Tazuna, and then double-team Kakashi until he was either killed or forced into a surrender (because from the way his chakra signature was flickering, he was running on empty as well).
And this time, she didn't even have the chakra to heal him. Sure, Sasuke had replenished her reserves, but what she had was only a mere fraction of what she would need to fix the injuries, so much more grievous than the Uchiha's.
She could do nothing more than fight and hope to whoever was listening that the Uzumaki's healing factor would keep him stable long enough to get him help.
So she picked herself up, told Sasuke to stay with Tazuna, and walked calmly to what she was fairly sure would be her death.
If Sasuke and Naruto were beaten by this guy…what the hell am I going to do…?
You're such an idiot sometimes. Say it with me: if you can't outrun them, if you can't outmuscle them…
...
outwit them.
Thanks, Inner.
Let's get this show on the road, SHANNARO!
CHAAAAAA~!
闇
"Why, hello there. Am I correct in assuming that you've come to collect the next body?"
Haku's voice rang out in the mist as Sakura stepped forward, lips pressed into a determined line. She unsealed her kusarigama (which she'd stowed while healing Sasuke), and flipped it expertly into position; scythe in her right hand, weight in her left. The boy's eyes were wide, pupils completely dilated into inky pools ringed with a thin strip of hazel.
Her eyes shown with determination, luminous orbs of emerald and jade with flecks of citrine and topaz. She wouldn't allow him past her, for their sake.
The future of the Land of Waves rode on her shoulders, and she'd be damned if she let them down.
"HYOTON: RANSUU NO JUTSU!"
"SHANNAROOOOOO~!"
The two young shinobi charged each other, one with glowing green fists and the other with long, thin, icy claws.
Whatever the outcome…it was this battle that would determine the fate of Wave, Team Seven, and (though she couldn't predict it, but would reflect upon in the distant future) the entire shinobi world.

~Tsuzuku~
Yay! Another chapter done…and right on time, too! I just finished this morning, and I'm pretty happy with the result. Haku will be extremely significant in the future of this story, as well as his Kekkai Genkai, the Ice Madness. Like, seriously. I have plans…have I satisfied you yet, anon? :D
As to all of you who notice the errors in here: I don't have a beta reader (never have), so I proofread my own work. I'll go back and correct all the mistakes I find every five chapters or so. Just bear with me until Chapter Fifteen, then I'll go back and get all the drafts corrected, and post the edits with Chapter Sixteen. Alright? Thanks for your understanding, and sorry for the mistakes. :3

Remove the spaces and bask in the Naruto/SasuSaku/Supernatural/Free! Iwatobi Swim Club glory.
…shameless self-advertising FTW. XD Now for FAQs!
Q: What is Naruto and Sakura's relationship?
A: Sakura knows about Naruto's crush on her, and thinks it's just him wanting sibling-like affection or a female friend and not knowing how to approach her about it. Naruto, however, would like to take her on a date or three. Comprende?
Sakura has no idea Naruto's feelings are real and thinks it's just him wanting a friend.
AND NO, THIS WILL NOT BE NARUSAKU. DON'T EVEN ASK.
I don't ship it (never have, never will), but Naruto's crush is here for a bit more plot depth (and because I need some canon here).
Q: WTF is up with that ending?!
A: N:BMS will end at the end of the original arc of the series. It will have a sequel (to wrap stuff up, and because reasons that I can't disclose because spoilers), which has no title yet, that deals with Shippuden. Think of it as foreshadowing.
Q: WTF was up with that prophecy last chapter?!
A: Two reasons: one, I needed a space-filler (don't judge, I was 200 words away from my goal when I ended and it seemed like a good idea), and two, I wanna give you guys a general idea of the future plot.
…Plus I wanna see who guesses what it's about. Free Internet cookies and a hug from a character of your choice if ya get it right! I'll give you one hint…the last bit is a major tip-off. And I mean MAJOR.
Q: WTF is up with all the cliffhangers?!
A: I do it because I wanna keep you guys interested. Aren't I a good authoress? ;D (don't answer that)
Q: Where did Sasuke's scar come from, and why has it never appeared before?
A: Sasuke's scar is something I've had in my notes, and pretty much forgot about it (as it's never really been a major part of the story) until now. It's from way back when Sasuke was first turned into a vampire (remember how his throat was torn open?). The wound didn't heal all the way due to the vampiric virus, and left a huge scar that Sasuke hides with high-collared shirts, and sometimes bandages. It serves as a tip-off for Sakura that not all is as it seems, and basically screams, "SASUKE IS HIDING THINGS! RED ALERT!"
In a few words…the scar is a plot device. SO YEAH.
Q: What's up with all the medical lingo?!
A: I'm taking Biology currently, and am a bit of an anatomy geek (which is a total understatement). Therefore, I had to bring my knowledge in somewhere…
1. Pectoralis minor: the muscles underneath the pectoralis majors (rule of thumb: all major or maximus muscles (pectoralis major, gluteus maximus, etc.) need a minor or minimus). The two groups combined make up the pectoral muscles we all know and love.
2. Latissimus dorsi: the muscles on the sides of the torso that allow you to raise and lower your arms from the sides of your body. Swimmers, like Michael Phelps, have huge latissimus dorsi because of the butterfly stroke.
3. Superior vena cava: the vein in the right side of your neck that takes oxygen-poor blood out of the head and neck for re-oxigination in the pulmonary arteries of the lungs (remember, people…veins are oxygen-poor and blue, arteries are oxygen-rich and red).
…You can blame my absolute LOVE of bio for this. I'll probably do this more in later chapters, especially when talking about injuries or Sakura's work at the hospital.
Q: What happens to Naruto?
A: Can't tell ya. :3 Just don't panic. Everything will be alright. Breathe, guys, breathe. He lives. Trust me, he lives. I'm not a troll like someone we all know and love (coughcoughKishimotocoughcough).
Soooooooo…listening to the song We Like to Party! by the Vengaboys (which is the Six Flags theme song), and I got an amazing idea for a crack-omake that has absolutely nothing to do with the story. Enjoy!
KBA-chan's Omake Theater!
This Week: Konoha Noble Clan Party Bus of Badassness
Warnings: UTTER CRACK and total hilarity. Oh, and Senju sass.
…And copious amounts of magic mushrooms.
With a poof, twelve people materialized in a huge, neon-rainbow bus in the middle of the Suna desert. They were all engaged in various activities, and frozen in time from the transportation jutsu.
Uchiha Madara: Failing miserably at life.
Uchiha Izuna: Owning Madara at DDR (which is LIFE).
Uchiha Fugaku: Attempting to text his nephew.
Uchiha Obito: Laughing hysterically at his uncle's failed attempts.
Uchiha Shisui: Sleeping with a copy of Icha Icha over his eyes.
Uchiha Itachi: Eating a stick of dango while beholding the glory that is Dean Winchester.
Uchiha Mikoto: Cooking a pie.
Uchiha Sasuke: Blow-drying his hair.
Hyuuga Hizashi: Reading A Storm of Swords.
Hyuuga Hiashi: Playing Guitar Hero.
Hyuuga Hinata: Making origami flowers.
Hyuuga Neji: Writing a speech.
A few seconds passed as the drivers of the bus looked back and grinned (well, one grinned and the other smirked slightly) at each other, releasing the jutsu that was keeping the twelve immobile.
Mass hysteria ensued.
Neji ran to his father, who smiled gently, Sasuke tackle-hugged his mother and snuggled into her hair as she laughed, cried, and held him, and Itachi fist-bumped Shisui while having his hair ruffled by Obito, all three laughing. Izuna screamed and started chasing a terrified Madara in tight circles, shrieking at his older brother for taking his eyes. Fugaku raised an eyebrow, caught sight of Hiashi, and immediately started bickering with him. Hinata let out a meek 'meep' and barricaded herself in the corner, fingers still folding the paper rose she was working on.
Then the drivers turned around, and everyone screamed.
Senju Hashirama, otherwise known as the Shodaime Hokage no Konoha, was behind the wheel, flashing a 1000-kilowat smile with sunglasses over his eyes. Senju Tobirama, however…
He wore low-riding, loose, dark-wash jeans, untied basketball shoes, a long, loose, blue T-shirt reading 'SENJU SASS MASTER' in white, and a backwards black baseball cap with 'SWAG' written on the front in bold white embroidery. He also sported sunglasses, along with at least six huge, heavy gold chains around his neck.
"Wassup, foo."
"Oh my Kami. The Niidaime's gone gangsta."
"You mean gangster, Sasuke."
"Foolish aniiki. It's gangsta. Not gangster."
Hashirama shouted at the top of his lungs,
"KONOHA NOBLE CLAN PARTY BUS, BITCHES! HEEEEELLLLL YEAAAAAAH!"
An upbeat techno song started to play, and everyone broke out into crazed dancing, overtaken by the infectious beat as they blasted across the Suna desert.
If you looked in the bus…you'd see fourteen figures (Hashirama left a wood clone to drive so he could 'rip up the dance floor', and Hinata was dragged from her place by a hyped-up Shisui) spazzing out in a huge bus lit by rave lights galore, shaking from the pounding of the stereo.
Gaara didn't think his eyes would ever recover from the sight.
KBA: Well…I don't think I've ever written something with that much crack in a while.
TDCT: …Yeah, no kidding…
Itachi: Ano…what the hell just happened?
Sasuke: Senju Tobirama as a gangsta…dear Kami, aniiki, I thought I told you to hide the shrooms!
Itachi: Not. My. Fault.
TDCT: MOVING ON.
Mikoto: So, who's our next intro person?
KBA: In honor of this crack!fic, I present to you…
*door creaks open; everyone peers into the crack*
KBA: Lol, see what I did there? :3
Sasuke: Shut up and show the intro already.
KBA: Fiiiine…come on in…
Gangsta!Tobirama: Yo.
All but KBA: OH HELL NO.
KBA: Get on with the intro, Tobi-kun.
G!T: Aiiit. Les' go, mah homies. *Announcer-Voice-no-Jutsu!* A holiday mission leaves Sakura and Naruto scrambling for bribes, and Sasuke has a secret weakness?! Tune in for next chapter's Halloween Special: The Ultimate Battle! Team Seven vs. Konoha's House of Horrors!
KBA: As the name implies, this'll be out on the 31st of October. See ya then!
This chapter's page break is yami, or darkness.
EDIT: 10/24/12
Just warning all of you...I'm currently unable to use my computer for anything other than schoolwork, and cannot remove it from the house.
