Ch. 7 I was framed!

In the dead of night a fierce storm lurk upon the empty Valley of Peace. Until a grown pig were putting away supply boxes outside his shop. As he was putting them aside, he looked around having a strange feeling of being watched in that blustery storm. Quickly looking left then right, he continuously hear splash footsteps traverse around him. He was now getting petrified at that moment. Suddenly, he could hear that his supplies was being picked up and turned around to seeing the individual running off until..

"Stop," The pig exclaimed stopping the shadowy person. The shrouded being stopped and looked over his shoulder. As a flash of lighting boomed it gave the pig a spit second glimpse of who that person was, a black furred feline wearing shrouded clothing. Then he ran off with the supplies within his arms, with an ominous laugh.

The next day the sun was out high in the sky, causing a beautiful morning shining over the Valley of Peace after a storm. In on the courtyard near the Jade Place, Sora and Lilly were training under Master Tigress's watch. Sora was enhancing his skill of the multi clone technique, while Lilly was training with her Scythe against the wooden dummies tearing them up. The master of style didn't look it, but she was impressed to see her two apprentices advancing in their training.

As they were doing this, a large discordant sound of upset villagers were outside the palace doors. Both Sora and Lilly stopped what they were doing because of the unexpected crowd. Master Tigress walked to the door to see the commotion was about and open the door to an irate crowd.

"What going on?" from afar Sora asked to Lilly. She shrugged her shoulders and said, "I don't know," folding up her mechanical scythe and into her sheath behind her waist. One of the irate villagers took at Sora and shouted 'There he is the thief that stole our stuff.' With that announced the crowd brush past Tigress and towards Sora. That is until Shifu dropped in between the villagers and Sora.

"What's going on here and what's the commotion?" He questioned with the sense of frustration. "I tell you, him. He's been going around the middle night stealing everyone's stuff," the pig exclaimed.

"What, why I would go around stealing stuff I don't need? And aren't you the guy who gave me a hard time at Mr. Ping's shop?" Sora said with a toothy scowl pointing. The pig scuffs and turns away.

"Coming from everyone in the village, the description of the thief is a male feline with black fur, round ears, and was dressed in all black. And you fit the description, just wearing different clothing," The guy described.

"That doesn't seem right. I'm a very light and defensive sleeper and I would have heard Sora if he left the room. He couldn't have done it without me knowing." Lilly stated.

"And how do we know you didn't help him? There have been several robberies last night. Anyway we already called the guards and they're at the doors right now." He responded. Soon rhino guards entered the palace gates with chain-shackles in their clutches.

"Alright kid, you're coming with us." The first rhino said. "Really, are you serious? You called the guards? That is so not cool." Sora expressed.

The rhino guard then impatiently shook the chains eager to get the panther in chains. "Come on kid we don't have all day." He exclaimed. Sora then turned to Shifu and Tigress, who were sadly speechless.

"Shifu?" Sora whined. Shifu closed his eyes and lowered his head in regret. "I'm sorry Sora. You must accept the consequences for your actions." Shifu said in a slump tone. Tigress was surprise to hear his response. Her and Sora both, Sora felt so bad, to him it felt like he was kicked in the mouth. The guards began to walk towards him with the shackles.

"Oh forget this! Ta Kuron Gijutsu," Sora shouted concentrating his chi and creating countless of clones. "Soras SCATTER!" one of the doppelgangers yelled. With that bellowed, all the panthers ran in different directions and down the steps. The crowd of angry villagers and guards followed after them. One of the guards stayed and confronted Shifu and Tigress.

"If he's not back here by tomorrow morning, he'll be in a harsher place than a normal cell; he'll be in Chord Gum Prison. You better make sure he makes the right choose," Said the rhino guard leaving the palace courtyard.

'Sora couldn't have done it. Someone must be framing him or a new theivius panther is in town. I got to inform the others.' Lilly thought running inside the palace to tell the gang. Shifu and Tigress followed her inside. Little did they know, Shun was on top of the palace, looking down at the situation.

'I know the panther is annoying to no end, but he's not a lowly thief. I better follow him before more chaos happens.' Shun thought and soared down into the valley off the roof.

Outskirts, Bamboo forest

Out of the valley of Peace, Sora out ran the angry mob of villager and into the Bamboo forest outskirts. Panting heavily, he stopped beside a bamboo tree and leaned his back against the tree in attempt to catch his breath.

"What's going on? I didn't do anything. I've been in that village for a week and now they think I'm a thief. (Sigh) This is so not cool." Sora said sliding down to the ground against the tree lowering his head.

"You too huh? And here I thought you were the thief," Someone said close by. Sora's eyes snapped open and jumped to his feet and got into fighting position.

He then sees a gray wolf with tattered gray wolf attire, silver bracers, and purple belt that kept his black pants up. He had gray fur but he had wavy black hair down to his neck. Bright yellow canine eyes and wore a brown string necklace around neck with a moon emblem hanging down.

"You, you must be the thief everyone is complaining about." Sora pointed angrily. "Whoa, down kitty. It's not me either. To be honest, I thought you were the thief." The wolf stated crossing his arms.

"Why's that?" Sora questioned. "Reports say that the suspect is a black furred feline with round ears, and bright-colored eyes. You dangerously fit the description. To make things worse the guy is quick, and I too have been framed. I was outside during the night of the robberies in my old village and someone noticed me. When I saw you, I was planning to jump you take you back with me. But it appears you've been framed as well." He exclaimed.

Sora dropped his fighting stance and stood up straight. "So both of us have been framed?" Sora restated. The wolf nodded. "Well then, we need to clear out names if we ever want to face our villages again. Speaking of names, what yours?" Sora asked.

"My name is Chase, Chase Long. I'm fourteen, and you are?" Chase asked. "Chase huh? Cool name, my name's Sora Gao, I'm thirteen." Sora introduced. "Gao? What's the other half of your last name?" Chase questioned.

"I don't remember. I suffer from amnesia; all I remember is my name is Sora, and Gao-something. I don't remember having a family or anything." Sora said lowering his head.

"Sorry to bring that up man. Hey, why don't we work together to clear our names." Chase offered. "Yeah, I was getting to that. So, where do we start?" Sora asked.

"Since the last robberies were around your village, why don't we explore the outskirts this forest. It looks like a great place to hide." Chase explained cupping his chin.

"That's very smart; you're a clever one aren't you." Sora said running ahead. Chase was wordless and followed after the impulsive panther.

Jade Palace, Barracks

"What? That doesn't make any sense, Sora is not a thief. He seems like a good kid," Viper defended. "I know which is why we need to do something. I won't have my student in a cell or Chord Gom Prison for a crime he didn't commit, we have to do something." Tigress stressed.

"You know we have to be careful about this situation, one wrong move and people might think we were part of it. I think it'll be a good idea if we stay vigilant and out of the villagers sights." Crane suggested.

"Good thinking, so where do we start?" Mantis questioned looking towards Tigress. "We'll check the outskirts. Crane, you check north end. Viper, the east. Mantis, you're with Monkey on watch here. Po, I'm kind worried to say this, but you stay here and watch the Lilly and the others. Keep them here," Tigress commanded.

"I'm on it Tigress, they won't get past me," Po responded. "Alright, everyone move out." Tigress instructed. The five then exited the jade Palace and down the stairs. Po then decided to go see the preteen apprentices. Walking through the hallways, Po spots the preteens rushing towards Po. He then panicked covered his face and closed his eyes. He felt them rush past him; he turned around and sees the small gang exiting with Lilly leading.

Po lets out a heavy sigh and says, "Tigress is so going to have fit about this one."

Walking beside Chase, Sora had his arms above his head and was walking arrogantly. Both agreed that Chase would take point and lead the way, thanks to the young canine's strong sense of smell. "The scent is getting stronger, it's safe to say that he's around here somewhere," Chase informed.

"That's good. Whoever that person is who's been posing as me, is going to get it big time," Sora said pressing his fist and palm together. "I agree," Chase agreed. He then stopped and began to sniff the air.

"What's wrong?" Sora asked. "The scent, it disappeared." Chase told. "Meaning?" Sora questioned. "It means, it's as if he was never here, I can't track him anymore. The scent stops here." Chase responded. Sora turned to the left and saw a cave. He patted Chase on the shoulder and pointed at the cavern.

"If the scent stops here, why don't we check out that cave?" Sora pointed out. "Wouldn't hurt," Chase agreed. The two entered the cave and to their surprise, all the villagers stuff was inside.

"It's all here, the villagers stuff," said Sora. "Yeah, but where's the thief?" Chase pondered aloud. He began to sniff the air again and said, "I'm picking up several traces somewhere nearby. I think he's at it again, follow me." With that said Sora followed Chase to the next destination.

Outskirts -With Shun

"I finally found you, you thief. You're not getting away!" Shun exclaimed at the feline. The guy wasn't a panther. He was a puma with black fur and dressed with a gray vest, wrapping bands around both his wrists, black pants, and wore round glasses showing his silver eyes.

"Impressive, I didn't think anyone could catch me, especially some kid," He (Tung) taunted balancing glasses to his eyes. Shun snarled at the taunt, hating the fact that he sees him as a kid. In minutes, Lilly, Rai, and Mailli showed up at the scene.

"Took you long enough." Shun nagged. "At least we made it, jerk," Meili replied for Rai and Lilly. "Oh look, more kiddies. By the way, the name's Tung. And since I told you my name, I'm going to have to knock you out so you won't remember a thing," Tung said, pulling out a staff and was ready to fight.

Lilly unsheathed her folded mechanical scythe and changed it to scythe's form. "I'd like to see you try," said Lilly accepting Tung's challenge. She readied her scythe and rushed towards him with a swing of her huge weapon. Tung evaded the strike and unhidden his metal bow staff, and launched himself at Lilly and countered Lilly's attacks. With one last hit, he swung his staff and struck her back to her knees.

"Guys help," Lilly pleaded. Rai and Meili double team to gang up Tung. Meili swiped her tail around attempting to lash at him, but he grabbed tail and threw her at Rai. Rai avoided her, took a quick look at her and back at Tung. "You jerk!" Rai exclaimed.

Rai bolted at Tung and began swing his wings like blades. Again Tung defended himself of the attack and whacked him back to the others. 'You guys are useless' Shun commented in mind. He made several hands signs and deeply inhaled.

"So it's him," Tung quickly stated. Shun exhaled a blazing wave at Tung. The puma quickly reached for something from his back and pulled out a blanket and covered his self from the fiery wave heading towards him. After the attack was over, Tung removed the cover and appeared unharmed. Shun was not pleased for the results that his technique had no effect and glared angrily and dropped to his knee. 'Damn it, it's going to take me awhile to recover from that last attack.'

"It appears that, you used up all your exhaustion and skills. Now it's my turn, get ready!" Tung exclaimed getting down on fours and was about to charged. Until a blur of black fur sprang at him and delivered a kick so hard to the face it rippled Tung's face and sent him rolling backwards.

"What?" Shun exclaimed baffled. Standing tall it was Sora, standing before him facing Tung. With a boastful smile, Sora pointed at Tung and said, "One; no one shows up Shun but me. Two; you must be the guy who's been framing me. So, time for your beat-down, Panther/tiger style." Sora got into tiger stance, and Tung wiped his face with the back of his fist, and looked at him confusingly.

"A panther doing tiger style kung fu and can make physical clones , that's new, rather interesting." He stated. After that, the wolf known as Chase appeared beside Sora. He then pulled out his dual butterfly blades from his waist and in his hands.

"You're that wolf from that dreadful village in the southeast, thanks for taking the heat of my robberies." Tung stated with a taunt. Chase snared made a mad dash in attempt to attack Tung with his weapons, but failed to as Tung blocked the blades with his bow-staff.

"Ta Kuron Gijutsu," Sora exclaimed connecting both index fingers and conjuring up six physical clones. All at once, all of the Sora clones pursued Tung prepared to attack him. Seeing more than one panther sort of puzzled him and was tempted to back away. Tung defended himself as much as possible bopping the clones away with his metal staff. He eliminated one of them by hitting the clone in the throat with his staff.

While this was happening, Crane was flying above and saw the commotion. Without a word he flew off to get the others. Sora and his doppelgangers were doing well up against Tung. Tung also seem to be struggling against the impulsive panther. Breaking out of doppelgangers reach of attacks, Tung back way in a fair enough distance away from Sora and his lookalikes trying to regain his breath.

While trying to do so, he sees six others, the Furious Five and the Dragon Warrior, approaching. They all got into their fighting styles and were ready to encounter him.

"So it was you who framed my student," Tigress exclaimed, "You're going to Chord Gum Prison." She ended. Tung got back on his feet and rested his staff over his shoulder. "You're going down...uh...guy I don't know!" Po stated.

"I believe not. I think this," Tung began raising his staff pointing it at them. "Is where we part ways." At the end of the staff with a aiming grid opened up and fires at the group. Everyone evaded the blast and notices Tung escaping.

"Where are people getting these kind of weapons!," Mantis exclaims. "I'm going after him!" Crane announced and flew off ahead along with Viper. Everyone else lowered their defenses. Tigress gave Sora the 'I'll see you back home' look and headed back to the palace. Shun also shot Sora a look that meant 'whatever' and turned his back from the others.

Sora made a juvenile pout expression and crossed his arms. Lilly placed her mechanical scythe away and sighed exhausted. She then respectfully glanced at Sora. 'Good job Sora' Rai flown over and supportable placed his wing around Sora's neck. "Come on champ; let's get back to the village." Rai suggested guiding him. Chase decided to follow behind close by with hands in his pockets.

45 minutes later (Evening time) (Jade Palace: Barracks)

After a much needed bath, Sora emerged from the bathhouse and head to his room. On the way Sora stopped and sees Shun, standing in the middle of the hall. The leopard detestably eye the panther, while Sora does the same thing with his obnoxious eyes.

Shutting his eyes to get rid of the intolerable feeling, Shun cleared his throat and placed his hands in his pockets. "Sora, I suppose you did good work today. I guess you're not a swear-up after all." Said looking aside.

For a moment Sora was stunned at Shun's tribute, then revealed the biggest arrogant grin ever and folded his arms. "Oh so you were impressed of my new-found mad aptitude huh? I know, my clone technique is awesome with a sickness. I'll be beating you soon enough, that way I can take away that self-absorbed smile you always have on your face." Sora pointed.

Shun then had pulsing vane on his forehead and gritted his teeth of the remark, trying to hold his composer. "Keep dreaming panther."

"Whatever, I'm just glad this whole situation is over." Sora state putting his arms behind his head. "It's just a shame that Master Crane and Viper came back empty-handed and Tung got away. The guards will be around for a while." Shun indicated. "By the way, what happen to that wolf friend of yours?" Shun questioned.

"Oh yeah, Chase didn't say where but he said we'll be seeing him around a lot." Sora responded. "Well, I'll see you tomorrow." Shun replied then looked over his shoulder back at the panther and said, "comrade." and entered his room.

For the second time Sora was surprised. Shun actually accepted him as a comrade, a fellow companion. But there was no doubt in his mind that Shun still sees him as a rival, and so does he.

(Outskirt, unknown location Night Time)

In an unknown dark and gloomy location, An unidentified man wearing a sinister brown cloak rob covering his face was sitting on his high chair in the dark murky room with a staff within the grasp of his tail. Entering the room, Tung approached before him.

"I have returned lord Orochi, and I brought you the information you wanted from the village." Tung confirmed.

"Continue." He ordered. "Just as you predicted the panther known as Sora and Shun Lei has appeared. Both the panther and leopard both has their own strengths. Shun Lei does possess the ability of flames, but didn't show his visual powers. The panther, I'm not too sure. All I can say is that he was quite difficult to handle." Tung reported.

"Has he shown any signs of unnatural red aura or power?" He questioned with a hiss. "No sir, no signs at all. He just used his own strength but, somehow he figured out a way to clone himself, but seemed to be having trouble doing so but made many of them anyway." Tung answered cupping his chin.

"He must have learned this clone method by scroll. As for the issue of using the technique or any, HE must be tampering with his spirit, canceling out his host's normal chi energy. We'll have to deal with that soon." Orochi hissed.

"Shun has also show promise as well." Tung pointed out. "Oh yes, the second survivor of Lei family Clan. I have plans with him. I have plans for both of them. It's (Hiss) only a matter of time." He ended with a sinister laugh.
